Aaron with Hayes Cooling Heating & Plumbing responded to our after hours call for no cold air coming from our AC. The system in place with the business was awesome. We got a call from dispatch telling us a time frame for arrival (I live in Michigan and my rental units are in Arizona) and then again when he was actively on the way. He called after he inspected our unit and asked how to proceed. What I appreciated best was the time and effort he used in explaining the problems he had found. He related the problems to something more common (a car and a car battery to be exact) and with that I could understand. He really made me aware of the problem and the best way to solve it. Overall I give a 10/10 for this service call. The invoice he sent included pictures for my reference which I appreciated being that I am so far away. Thank you Hays Cooling and Heating, you have our future business!

On a Sunday a special type of circuit breaker went out on main panel. Couldn’t open garage doors.Penguin technician arrived within 1 hour of our call, identified the problem and fixed it.Will definitely use them again.

UPDATE: Aaron and Travis were back to finish the job today and did excellent work. They've been out to my property multiple times in the past month and are always excellent in their service. Hobaica has always sent skilled, professional, kind workers and they have been great about fitting my very limited scheduling windows. Thank you!

Previous Review: They were unable to complete the repair today but were very professional through the process, trouble-shooting many possible solutions and keeping me informed, and staying for many hours trying to solve the problem. They will return at another date with additional tools and materials to complete the job. Their extra effort above and beyond expectations is very appreciated.

Matthew was AMAZING! Our AC stopped working after hours on one of the hottest days this week. Matthew arrived within 45 minutes of our call getting right to work and leaving us with working AC within an hour. Adding Desert Diamond and Matthew to my list of vendors for recommendation. I found 1st Choice Mechanical on Yelp due to their great reviews. I was completely down and out after previously being scammed by a horrible company and happened upon 1st Choice. I spoke with Tori and she was so kind and caring and let me blab and cry about the horrible situation I was in. She said she would try and call her father Michael and asked if he would come on Saturday, a day they are normally closed. Immediately she called back and said he would be there. Michael showed up promptly and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and confident in his skill set. He was done within an hour. Having just moved here and being a first time home owner, I knew nothing. Now I know a great family owned company who I will go back with time and time again.

All the people I interacted with were awesome ... especially Anne Marie (Admin) and Greg (Service Tech). Great communication both in person and by text messages. On time as promised. Greg really went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Reasonable rates and fair on pricing. Would definitey use again in the future and recommend to family & friends.
