David was a wonderful person to work with. He was able to come out same day as I called and he came on time! He did exactly what I asked without pressuring me. He explained everything to me so I can be a more observant home owner. Lastly, I also appreciate Patty being so nice over the phone this morning. The technician knew what the problem was immediately on arrival. Our soft water unit we thought was disconnected had leaked and was coming thru all our pipes with sand etc. He then did a rinse thru all the water lines. He had to change the valve in the water heater n order to drain it. For a $30 plus value we were charged $250 which I believe is price gouging. He did a good job in fixing the problem but I would hesitate using again because of I believe were inflated charges.

Chase provided my aunt with a quote for a new system. He was very professional, informative, and caring! He answered all of her questions and concerns and even his Manager Jeff came out to speak with her. Needless to say, we are so happy with Penguin and how they took care of us and our new system!

I contacted my home warranty company because one of the HVAC units seems to be working harder, still cooling but turns on more then the other unit. Fidelity dispatched North Valley Mechanical to diagnose my HVAC (2 units). My daughter lives in this house. While North Valley tech was at the house she called to tell me the tech said the units are very dirty and would not proceed until they cleaned both units for $300 per unit. He was impatient with her and left after I said no to spending $600 before they would diagnose the units. I immediately called Fidelity to ask what my recourse was. I was told I could have any company clean the units. I contracted Bell AC to clean both units. Which Bell cleaned and also provided a detailed diagnosis of both units. Bell AC agreed the units are dirty, but not $300 per unit dirty. Also, we had the furnace looked at, via Fidelity, end of 2019. Not at any time were we told the units were dirty beyond the norm; it turned out to be the thermostat. After North Valley came back out, after Bell AC cleaned and diagnosed the units, North Valley is still saying the units are too dirty and will not service until they clean them. At this time, I am on hold with Fidelity to determine the next steps. I no longer want North Valley Mechanical near my units. Because of their conduct, I have no confidence they can properly diagnose what Bell AC already provided to me. Fidelity is reviewing if they can send another vendor or not.Update 8/26/2020: Fidelity will send another vendor to do the work North Valley Mechanical was dispatched to do twice and refused.

I was shopping around for some AC prices and I came across Sun Devil Heating and Cooling as I had to buy and AC for a new home I had some concerns that the system would need to be balanced. The tech assured me that it may not need to be but if a tech was needed to rebalance the system. That they would send someone out to get it taken care of. It turned out the system did need to be balanced but they took care of all my issues in a timely manner.

Uninvited guests (Rats) Had their lunch inside our heat pump on two occasions at different spots. Chris found and fixed the problem quickly and got the pump up and running. What else could you ask for, and without being GOUGED! That in itself is a wonderful thing these days!!! Highly recommend.

Received 2 other bids for new AC/Furnace. Both companies were switching back n forth on equipment recommendations then labor costs. Lost all confidence. I used Mike from Cactus Mechanical a few years back so decided to call him. BEST move I have ever made!!! He is extremely knowledgeable & his recommendations were spot on. Very reasonably & competitively priced. The 4 man crew installed both units (2.5 & 3.5 ton) in under 8 hrs. EXTREMELY pleased with results, equipment & overall company.

Day&Night replaced my heat pump system back in 2014. I have utilized their A/C and plumbing services since then. They are always responsive and professional. I had my system maintenance scheduled today. Tim, the technician, was no different. He was professional and courteous. My experience with king mechanical was amazing I have a little girl and we are very cautious because of Covid. The installation of my AC unit was done professionally and in a timely manner and the cost was competitive with other AC bids for the work done. I especially appreciated the overall communication with the sales representative and scheduling staff who kept me up to date with every step in the installation process.

Review and update... owner came by on Sunday, early in the morning, and fixed the AC unit in 15 minutes, something about a capacitor. HE didnt need to. Apparently, even though we have home warranty, the insurance only pays for normal business hours, so sunday was definitely not normal hours.
It seemed that the weekend person hadnt arrived at my calls so no one knew about my problem.
Once all the messages were written and reviewed, my problem with the AC was fixed less than 24 hrs later.
I'm very thankful since my 9 month old baby was able to sleep through the night.

Poor experience & attitude from repair rep. He just walked in our house from the back (without knocking first) and just sat down.

Claimed we owed a past due balance from a year ago. I pulled up my credit card billing statement showing a $79 service call & $440 repair that we *did* pay last year.

Rep said I had a balance of $158 for a service call. I told him that they probably made a mistake and just charged us a service fee for one unit instead of two. The repairman said in a snarky condescending tone Oh you don't know you had two units? of course I knew. His company just didn't know how to charge for them.

I'm happy to pay the difference. Just without the attitude and poor customer service. Need further repairs and will be contacting a different company.
