Anthony and the dispatcher Vanessa was very professional and polite. They showed up on time and delivered 5 star service. They made this experience of switching out my hot water heater a fun event rather then a stressful situation.

Penguin Air came out to fix our AC in less than 24 hours when the company that installed our unit, Chas Roberts couldn’t. Our system was installed by Chas Roberts when we built our house in 2020. We signed up for Chas’s preferred maintenance plan so we wouldn’t have to deal with an AC unit going out in the middle of July. Unfortunately that’s exactly what happened and Chas didn’t have availability to get out to our home for another week. So much for being “preferred” customers. Penguin was able to come out the next day. Joey came out and running in under an hour. He replaced a part that was covered under warranty and charged us for labor. Joey told me Chas Robert’s locks their units so he couldn’t check everything he normally would but stated other people on Penguin’s team have the keys to unlock the unit. I was so pleased to have AC back, I went ahead and signed up for Penguin’s maintenance plan for both our HVAC units. Unfortunately today we noticed water dripping from our secondary line so called Penguin to come out again. To my surprise Penguin stated they can’t service our unit. I was shocked because as you can see, they already had. They even sold us on their “Penguin Plan”. This is 100% fraud. I asked for a refund for the labor they charged,and for their bogus plan. Unfortunately the representative I spoke with, Brent was very little help and extremely patronizing. He told me nobody would be available to discuss a refund until Monday. After placing me on hold multiple times, Brent all of a sudden told me they could come out, they just wouldn’t be able to check the Freon if it were needed. I couldn’t seem to get a straight answer. You can come out now but you can’t fix the problem? Why would I want that? Eventually I was transferred to a voicemail for Tanya a Customer Service Supervisor? I left her the info but I’m doubtful this will be resolved without getting a third party involved. More to come…

Ryan was wonderful! He flushed the water heater, check the water coming in from the street and inside the house- Both the pressure and the softness. He was polite on time and the report was thorough. I’ll definitely recommend him to others. Thank you Ryan!

If i could give 0 stars or even negative i would. I would never recommend this xompany for any reason and regret 100% that we did. Front office lady Kendra is not personable at all and just kind of rude. When our air handler went out North valley came out and replaced which is what i expected. Everything was fine until i went into the attic and noticed they had completely cut 2 trusses, which if you know anything about construction is a big no no and maybe even illegal. Kirk or kurt whatever the owners name is did come out to fix but never apologized for what happend or showed any empathy. 2 yrs later we had a leak coming from air handler, not that big of a deal, just a clogged line. But after being here for 2 hours they wanted to charge 900$ for a new pan and clear out the line.? I agreed to it because i just wanted it fixed and didnt want more drywall damage. Then the service tech said he couldn't do it all of a sudden. The owner said we would be a liability to a them. So they still charged us 90$ to come out and blow smoke. They left us with a air handler still leaking and told us to call a better company. Worst experience I have ever had with any company. Please dont put yourself through something like this.Definitely did not refuse service. We agreed to the full amount and everything you mentioned. Your tech told us he talked to Kirk and was told you guys could not service. After we said to go ahead and do it. Thanks for all the help though.

Matthew was AMAZING! Our AC stopped working after hours on one of the hottest days this week. Matthew arrived within 45 minutes of our call getting right to work and leaving us with working AC within an hour. Adding Desert Diamond and Matthew to my list of vendors for recommendation. I used Promise Heating and Air and both Jesus and Moises did an excellent job installing my A/C unit. They were very professional and explained to me everything very well that whats going on with my AC. They also made it to my house right away. They provided different level and price of solutions.I feel they are open and honest about repairs needed and they also assure i was satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone in need.

This is the 2nd time I have used Goettl. Elvin was my technician and honestly he was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and upfront. However I was put in touch with Victor from sales and it was the opposite experience. Very pushy, kept trying to close me on the phone after I told him multiple times I would think about it and call back. The prices ranged from like $19k-$26k which is absolutely insane. Then after I mentioned that was double the price I was expecting he claimed they would do me a favor and knock the cheap option down to $15k.... and wanted me to make a decision right then and there getting even more pushy. After staying multiple times that if was mainly concerned about price than Goettl was not the company for me, I finally had enough and decided he was right. Not at all a company I want to drop thousands and thousands of dollars on.

Wow !!!! James is amazing employee .. I assume they already know that . I was impressed with his service . Faster then expected lol he even smelled good . He was honest which surprised me….. He even referred a program which might be able to help me with my major repair . He also got my unit running until I can afford the much needed part . The price was Exactly what they quoted not a much different price when they arrive I won’t hesitate in the future to contact them again for a repair . I am sure that there are several highly reputable heating and cooling companies in the valley, but most will certainly let you know how great they are with their pricing. I had to replace (2) 2.5 ton units and remove an evap, so I reached out to five different companies...and received five widely varied prices.

From the start, Sun Devil's Superintendent (Joe V.) was outstanding - he started out understanding that my house is not in the heart of PV and I most likely don't want a 90SEER, gold-plated unit that will make me breakfast every morning. He started out with a more than reasonable price and barely moved once he got onsite and had a fuller picture of the job. It certainly didn't hurt that he was less than any another valley company for the exact same units and service without ever having to negotiate.

Two days later, I have two new Trane units, my house is freezing cold (I should probably adjust the thermostats) and everything runs perfectly. He was even totally cool with the fact that some yahoo wired my panel wrong and he almost got electrocuted - that's no joke, seriously, make sure your electrician knows how to label wires. Sorry again, Joe!

I have read other reviews about having issues after the fact or having installation problems - I can't really speak to any of those concerns, perhaps there were other forces at play. What I can say is that I am extremely pleased with every aspect of my interaction with Sun Devil and Joe V. and will absolutely promote them any chance that I get.

Great family owned company. Everyone from the dispatcher to the techs were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to assist me in a timely manner while keeping prices very reasonable. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I’m writing about my experience with King Mechanical to save people from the expensive and frustrating mistake I made by hiring Frank Marquez and his company, King Mechanical, to install a new Trane AC unit at my home.

I paid King mechanical over +$5K cash to replace my AC unit. A contractor working outside heard the loud clattering noise the HVAC unit was making and commented that something was wrong with my brand new AC unit. The owner of King Mechanical, Frank Marquez, was called. Marquez said he would send someone to evaluate the banging noise in the new unit. One month later, King Mechanical had not sent a technician to my home or even contacted me about making an appointment. Multiple calls over multiple months with the same result. He would promise to evaluate the loud banging sound on my brand-new unit. Then he would not show up. By this time, I was upset. I had a faulty AC unit and was asking for a service call from the company that I paid a significant amount of money to install. King Mechanical would not even send a tech to check on the problem.

After 10 months of calling and texting without replies or responses from the owner of King Mechanical, I sent a certified letter. Only then was a repair tech sent out and he confirmed that the AC unit should not be making any noise as he heard. A month later, King Mechanical came out to “repair” my brand new AC unit.

A little over 4 months later I woke to a constant, loud banging sound while the unit was running. I went outside and recorded a video and sent it to the owner, Frank Marquez. Something had broken loose and was banging around inside the unit. This is in the middle of the Arizona summer with 115-degree heat. (see video)

Marquez’s response? “I’m booked out for 2 days. I can't drop everything for you”. What? In the text exchange, he repeated that he takes care of his customers and he stands behind his manufacturers.

Two days later at 2 am the unit completely exploded. I had no AC with a house full of kids. He stopped responding at all.

I reported him to the Contractors board. By the way, an inspection by the Contractors' Board takes 3 to 4 weeks. I obviously couldn't live with a broken AC unit in August in Phoenix that long. I had to pay a second HVAC company $2000 to repair the faulty AC unit installed and the substandard repair work performed by King Mechanical and Frank Marquez.

The Contractor Board inspector said he couldn't evaluate King Mechanical's work because of the emergency repair work. Frank then told me he wouldn't honor any warranty for the unit he installed. What a shock! I guess he felt more confident he wouldn't get in trouble for his shoddy install and repair.

The most troubling part of hiring King Mechanical to install the HVAC unit in my Phoenix home is that throughout this whole ordeal, the owner of King Mechanical had no feelings of obligation to the new HVAC unit he installed or the damage his repair caused. King Mechanical would not even schedule an emergency repair when his AC unit completely broke down. He knew I had 4 children in my home in the sweltering heat of summer. He wouldn't return my texts or calls. ( see video)

I expected a reliable AC unit and a company who stands behind their product and their service. Arizona has many HVAC companies that place quality products, provide quality service to their customers after they get paid. These companies make AC repairs that will not destroy the AC unit. King Mechanical is NOT one of these companies. When my King Mechanical AC install did not go right, the owner would not make it right. When the AC unit broke down, he would not help. In fact, the owner of King Mechanical NEVER responded unless he thought he was going to get in trouble.

Frank Marquez will take your money and disappear. King Mechanical does not stand behind its workmanship. Do not make the expensive mistake of hiring King Mechanical for HVAC repair and AC installation in Phoenix.

I was with another major A/C service provider and wanted a second opinion. TemperaturePro did an excellent job of evaluating my current system and made good choices of replacement. The Manager that provided the inspection, Sam Barrow, was so thorough, we decided to go with his recommendation of A/C replacement. His team did an excellent job of replacing our over 12 year old unit, they were friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. In 5 hours, they had the job done and explained they new system to us. After the 1 year maintenance warranty, we are going to them for yearly maintenance. Extremely impressed with their business and their people. I would recommend to anyone needing A/C service.

20 years ago I became annoyed at local HVAC servicers trying to sell me very expensive acid washes. I phoned Carrier and asked them who they would recommend for annual service (they also told me an acid wash is NEVER needed). They recommended Scottsdale Air and I’ve used them ever since with complete satisfaction l

The entire crew is awesome from owner Robin to Fred the Ops Manager as well as Stacy in the office. Also, installers were extremely friendly and worked their butts off to ensure we got our A/C done quickly. I wont work with another HVAC company in the future as Perfect Comfort stands by their name.

I have been using Benefit Air for all of my air conditioning needs for over 20 years. I have purchased three Trane units for two different properties over that time. I consider them to be very knowledgeable and professional. It is truly a company that has the customer’s best interest at heart. I would encourage people who have any HVAC needs to contact Benefit Air. Lastly, I want the personally thank Chuck Watson. Chuck is by far the best technician I have ever dealt with and will always request him when the need arises!

This was a wonderful experience. Antonio was an exceptional tech. He explained everything, was very friendly and polite. He also replaced a damaged vent that we needed. He made sure everything was working properly. He followed through with everything he said he would do.
