This was my first time calling and have to tell you from the rep on the phone Carmela , Josh online and my service technician Alonso, it was very pleasant and professional all around. He called and arrived when he said he would. Once he was here he took time to explain and show me what he was doing. I would recommend Penguin Air to friends and family.

Robert repaired 4 things at different times: replaced outdoor spigot after I broke it. This was a rush job since the water was turned off. ; replaced toilet ring after the seal broke and helped clean up the leak mess; replaced copper piping and fixed valve for the swamp cooler; and repaired/replaced old lead pipe drain from bath upstairs. All of the repairs were done as quickly as possible and professionally. He is also a nice guy, polite, professional and will go above and beyond to get your plumbing back to working order. I will definitely use his services again and recommend Quick Fix to anyone .

Charged me $318 for drain clean that took 30 minutes on one of my rental properties. Also drilled a hole in the metal drain and left jagged edges exposed. Took my credit card ahead of job and never called with a quote to fix. Just did the job and charged me. Was very unhappy with the service and very high price. Wouldn't recommend at all.

I have worked with Danny for nearly 20 years. Danny is the definition of an Old School Plumber. He is thorough and pays attention to the details. Indoors or outdoors he knows his stuff. Rhonda (his wife) manages his office just as well. They are a Perfect example of a successful small business!

Response and service were very quick and thorough. I will use them again in the future for any plumbing needs.

I originally decided to not leave a review as it would be negative. Because Goettl could not repair my AC, I was to get a full refund (less the service fee). For 3 weeks, I have been told my refund has been processed. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Being lied to and taken advantage of has really upset me and I do not want others to have this happen.

3 weeks ago, I contacted Goettl as my AZ blower motor stopped working. I have a 4.5 year old unit. The operators were pleasant and was able to get me an appointment the next day which was on a Saturday. The tech showed up and determined it was the blower motor. He then proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with the unit and all that needs to be done. As a property manager of 20 years, managing thousands of units, I knew this was all a sales pitch and all that was needed was a motor (which is still under warranty by the manufacturer. I agreed to have them repair the blower motor to get me up and running.

Before collecting my payment, the major sales pitch started. I was told I should get just get a whole new unit and ductwork (again, AC and ductwork is all brand new 4.5 years ago) and they could get me on a monthly payment plan for a whopping $12,000.00!! He then said my unit was so dirty, it would have to be fully chemically cleaned should I decide to keep it. Again, as a property manager I know the importance of home maintenance and I have maintained and cleaned the coils on an annual basis. He took my credit card payment of nearly $1600 up front so they could order and install the motor once received.

I agreed again, to just have the motor put in as it was supposed to be warm and needed my AC running.

Monday, I received a call from someone from the office stating they would not be able to get my unit up and running until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER!! There was a shortage of variable speed motors, and they just could not do anything else- but again, they could fully replace the unit. The other option was for them to place a temporary blower fan in my unit for ANOTHER $1600! I said this was unacceptable and to refund my money less the service call, to which I agreed.

The next day, I contacted another AC Service Company (A&C Services by Able), a licensed, bonded, insured company with the owner having 30 plus years AC experience. Within less than 48 hours, they were able to retrieve the new motor (paid for under warranty, by the way), get to my house, and install. My unit was up and running with an OEM motor, covered by warranty, within 48 hours, all for $260!!

Goettl charged my $1600 and was telling me it would be 2 month until they could repair. But again, they could sell me an entire new unit!

I contacted Goettl 4 (four) times asking about my refund. For 3 weeks, I was told it was in process. As of date- I have no refund and was forced to place a dispute with my credit card company.

I had high hopes for Goettl but was sorely disappointed. Again, I was not going to leave a negative review although their pricing is out of line and certainly, they take advantage of people. Shame on you, Goettl. You need to do better!

Who'd like to bet now this review was written, I will get a call back regarding my refund!?

Came on a weekend after we had someone else no call no show to repair. Very professional and helpful. We will need to replace our unit soon and will use them in the meantime they have fixed our ac unit.

The technician called ahead and gave a time of arrival, was very courteous, clearly explained our options, are provided an accurate estimate of the possible costs that might be incurred. The service was quick and efficient, and there was no mess inside or outside the house. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and will use them again!

I’m writing about my experience with King Mechanical to save people from the expensive and frustrating mistake I made by hiring Frank Marquez and his company, King Mechanical, to install a new Trane AC unit at my home.

I paid King mechanical over +$5K cash to replace my AC unit. A contractor working outside heard the loud clattering noise the HVAC unit was making and commented that something was wrong with my brand new AC unit. The owner of King Mechanical, Frank Marquez, was called. Marquez said he would send someone to evaluate the banging noise in the new unit. One month later, King Mechanical had not sent a technician to my home or even contacted me about making an appointment. Multiple calls over multiple months with the same result. He would promise to evaluate the loud banging sound on my brand-new unit. Then he would not show up. By this time, I was upset. I had a faulty AC unit and was asking for a service call from the company that I paid a significant amount of money to install. King Mechanical would not even send a tech to check on the problem.

After 10 months of calling and texting without replies or responses from the owner of King Mechanical, I sent a certified letter. Only then was a repair tech sent out and he confirmed that the AC unit should not be making any noise as he heard. A month later, King Mechanical came out to “repair” my brand new AC unit.

A little over 4 months later I woke to a constant, loud banging sound while the unit was running. I went outside and recorded a video and sent it to the owner, Frank Marquez. Something had broken loose and was banging around inside the unit. This is in the middle of the Arizona summer with 115-degree heat. (see video)

Marquez’s response? “I’m booked out for 2 days. I can't drop everything for you”. What? In the text exchange, he repeated that he takes care of his customers and he stands behind his manufacturers.

Two days later at 2 am the unit completely exploded. I had no AC with a house full of kids. He stopped responding at all.

I reported him to the Contractors board. By the way, an inspection by the Contractors' Board takes 3 to 4 weeks. I obviously couldn't live with a broken AC unit in August in Phoenix that long. I had to pay a second HVAC company $2000 to repair the faulty AC unit installed and the substandard repair work performed by King Mechanical and Frank Marquez.

The Contractor Board inspector said he couldn't evaluate King Mechanical's work because of the emergency repair work. Frank then told me he wouldn't honor any warranty for the unit he installed. What a shock! I guess he felt more confident he wouldn't get in trouble for his shoddy install and repair.

The most troubling part of hiring King Mechanical to install the HVAC unit in my Phoenix home is that throughout this whole ordeal, the owner of King Mechanical had no feelings of obligation to the new HVAC unit he installed or the damage his repair caused. King Mechanical would not even schedule an emergency repair when his AC unit completely broke down. He knew I had 4 children in my home in the sweltering heat of summer. He wouldn't return my texts or calls. ( see video)

I expected a reliable AC unit and a company who stands behind their product and their service. Arizona has many HVAC companies that place quality products, provide quality service to their customers after they get paid. These companies make AC repairs that will not destroy the AC unit. King Mechanical is NOT one of these companies. When my King Mechanical AC install did not go right, the owner would not make it right. When the AC unit broke down, he would not help. In fact, the owner of King Mechanical NEVER responded unless he thought he was going to get in trouble.

Frank Marquez will take your money and disappear. King Mechanical does not stand behind its workmanship. Do not make the expensive mistake of hiring King Mechanical for HVAC repair and AC installation in Phoenix.

Wonderful company... from management to the crew in the field this company values customer experience above all else. We had a very problematic Trane unit that we replaced and this company has the expertise and service oriented approach that you dream of working with in any trade. Highly recommend them for maintenance to overhaul replacements!

AZ Perfect Comfort replaced an AC fan motor that was covered under warranty. They were professional, personable, timely and provided excellent communication. Mack was awesome to work with and powered through the repair in 110+ temps to get us back up and running. I will use them again when the need arises. Thanks guys!

Our technician was very professional, quickly discovered and rectified our problem and completely checked out our A/C system all for one very reasonable service call visit. We've had two very good experiences with Howard Air over the past couple of years and wished we would have used them to install our new system! It would have saved us the first service call, if we would have! Live and learn, they will be our A/C service provider in the future without question.
