I had a water pipe burst in my home in frigid weather despite taking the precaution to drip the water lines. I called Tribeca, and despite the enormous volume of calls, Richard answered directly. We got the water turned off to the house from the main water line promptly to minimize any water damage. Richard was literally the only plumbing service in DFW to answer my phone call last week. Several days later, Richard sent Blake and David to the home to identify the problem, explain the needed solution, and demonstrate the repair. Again, Tribeca was literally the only plumbing service in DFW to answer my phone call in the past week, and they got the repair done promptly. This sort of service must be commended.

I am a Realtor in Dallas, and Hooper Plumbing and Air Conditioning is one of the few companies that I never hesitate to call or refer to my clients. They also have taken good care of me and my personal Plumbing/HVAC needs. It's wonderful to have a company that you can trust implicitly.

RE Update: Slate plumbing returned today to fix the issue. After looking at the toilet, I was told it would cost $380 to repair, which was unacceptable. I asked to speak to management to resolve the issue, and after some debate, Abel (mgmt) agreed to repair it at no cost, if I would change my review from 1 to 5 stars. While I'm happy with the end result, communication/customer service on the management side needs improvement. With that said, the toilet was repaired and seems to be working well again, so I have updated my review as promised.Update: I never received an email, but I'll take you at your word that you will contact me Monday to make this right.Slate Plumbing broke what they were here to repair. I called to get them back to fix the issue, but an answering service answers all calls, and a manager would never contact me. I can't recommend Slate plumbing.

They were supposed to come, identify and repair gas leak.Two “plumbers” showed up, were very unprepared for the job and after a lot of discussion and trial and error they were not able to find the leak.Still was charged $299 for the two hours they both were here and was told I was lucky because they only charged the hours of one “plumber”.I am constantly surprised at the lack of professionalism in the plumbing business and how in today’s customer experience world that they are still allowed to get away with this.Unfortunately I have not yet found a company in this area that really cares about customer experience.These guys do not make it and the search continues.

We had a flooding emergency and Jason came out at 10pm on a Saturday to fix the issue. He was very friendly and explained the issue. Fixed the problem and gave is advice on what to do if it happens again.

Pure Plumbing came out during the February snow and ice storm when everyone else was closed. They promptly repaired the clogged drain at reasonable service fees. We called twice to request a quote for further services and never got a call back, thus the 4 star rating.

I never really do the review thing but I felt the need to this time. I have had 4 plumbing companies come out here to find the problem why my drainage system wasn't properly working. The plumbers that came outbefore told me that 1. I need all my pipes replaced. Then gave me an outrageous peice.2. They ran machine through my pipes and said I had a tree root and my pipes need to be replaced. 3rd plumber came and really didn't do anything for a hour and charged me 150 for doing nothing. The fourth came and said the exact same thing the first 2 plumbers told but this time with a higher price. I was about to give up. then a friend of mine told me she knows a great plumber who's reliable and very reasonable. I said to myself okay well could do any worse. So I called 3rd generation plumbing pros. Howard abruptly answer the phone it was very detailed and asking me questions of what was the problems. After about a 10-minute conversation with Howard he told me he knew exactly what was the problem. I laughed at him and said you're just going to tell me what the other for plumbers said to me. He laughed back and said no ma'am we don't cause the problems we fix the problems. So he showed up to my door Handsome guy may I add and proceeded to inspect the clog in my house. He explained to me what was going on but I really don't understand the plumbers language. So I said okay how much would it cost. He gave me a price that was unbelievable. In a good way. Howard was here no longer than 25 minutes and have my entire problem fixed. I then been said oh my God you have got to be kidding me. Long story short he is an amazing guy and the professionalism of his character is amazing. This will probably be the only testimony that I would ever do but 3rd generation to Howard the owner thank you with all my heart. You are very honest with me.

I have had the great benefit of having Clint from Mr. Rooter at my home twice now. He is prompt, very happy and polite. He has gone above and beyond both times. Once he gets here, I happen to mention something that I need done and, without hesitation, Clint says I can do that for you! I very much appreciate his hard work and great job ethic! I highly recommend Clint for any plumbing needs no matter how big or small the request. I know I will always request Clint. Thank you for a job(s) well done!

Sent two plumbers but only quoted one. Charged for 2. Spent an hour reading the instructions for a simple replacement. Couldn't figure out how to restart the water.

I hired them for fixing a main drainage pipe outdoors. In the beginning they were not very responsive. Also, the estimate of efforts were done wrong but they adjusted the cost when they finally did the work. Overall, I would recommend them.

This will be post 1 of 2. I am in the midst of replacing my building sewer and sewer main using the trenchless epoxy lining technology.
