Very happy with our service this morning. The technician was clean and polite. After he set our toilet he found where there was actually a leak in the water supply line and fixed that as well. Would recommend them to other homeowners.

James from Charlotte Plumbing fixed all of my problems in one visit and he did it right THE FIRST TIME.

At first, there was a strange smell in the house. I thought it might’ve been a natural gas leak.
I bought a meter on Amazon but it wasn’t detecting any gas.
As we all know, buying a product like that on Amazon is a hit or miss.
Just to be safe, I called the fire department to have someone come out and make sure everything was alright.
They used a gas meter to try to detect if there was a gas leak, and they couldn’t find ANYTHING.
They agreed there was still a strange smell, so I had a company come out and take a look for me.

The gas company that came out turned the gas off to my fireplace since the smell seemed to be concentrated mostly in one area of the house right next to the fireplace.
They said if the smell goes away in a couple of days then that must’ve been the culprit.
The smell never went away, so they came back to the house to turn the gas back on about 5 days later.

The smell started getting worse.
I was already having migraines everyday, and now I was starting to get nose bleeds.
I asked them if it could be sewer gas since the smell seemed to be worse when I was using the water.
They told me that I should go ahead and call a plumber.

Before I called the Charlotte Plumbing, I looked opened up the door to the crawl space of the house.
It had no smell, and the crawl space is in great shape.
I’m not a professional in gas or plumbing, but I wanted to make sure this plumbing company knew I did my due diligence to narrow the problem down.

I mentioned the fact that the crawl space seemed perfectly fine, and that the smell seemed to be coming from the baseboard downstairs next to the gas fireplace, but also when I ran a lot of water like laundry.

As soon as James stepped in the house, he immediately agreed that the smell was off.
Within 5 minutes he detected a gas leak and opened up the wall.
He said that the gas leak was so bad the whole house could’ve blown if I lit a candle or anything in the house.
He said the reason why the plumbing seemed tied to it was because the pipes have little vents that suck in air from the crawl space to operate properly.

Within 4 hours he fixed the gas leak entirely, and even fixed 3 of my slow running drains in the house.
James said, “That surprises me that the gas company couldn’t figure this out. They’re usually a really good company that’s really cautious. The guy that came over must’ve been new or something. All you have to do is actually listen to the customer and they’ll tell you exactly what and where the problem is.”

I am so impressed by Charlotte Plumbing. James was courteous, respectful, clean (he even wore little protectors over his shoes to protect my wood floors), punctual (they gave me a window of 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and James was knocking on my front door at 8:02 AM), and he is a real pro.

TLDR: I recommend this company to everyone. 10/10 experience.if you want the job done right the first time, call these guys. They’ll save you money, your house, and in my case my life!

Well, my hot water heater went out, and a cold shower was not on the menu. I called Mr. Rooter for an appointment, they called early and asked is it alright if our tech comes early. Yes, after two days of cold showering (are you on the way)? Matthew showed up as stated with 25-30 min. Check my unit, did diagnostics, gave solid quotes, rechecked my unit, & fixed the issue. All work was professionally , had great attitude , & left magnet to place on frig. All complete within forty-five minutes again very nice, friendly, professional, Tech Matthew Smith. Thank you! Give that man a NINE (9)!

Had a major toilet overflow situation upstairs and my worst fear came true! The water escaped faster than I could get to it and seeped into the downstairs ceiling. Called these guys: the receptionist was super courteous, she responded fast by sending out Jonathan who did a thorough job with alleviating my disaster, educating me on the current situation, and providing me with preventative tips in case of any future emergencies. It's winter... It's freezing and my pipes decided to burst while I was at work. I called Roto-Rooters due to their reviews online. Within the hour Steve Mumpower was at my home calming me down and assuring me how everything would be handled and taken care of. He explained the process to me and called to see when the mitigation team and plumber team would arrive. Although Steve completed his portion of the job he continuously checked in on me for the next 3 hours until all members of the mitigation team arrived. So far I am satisfied with my decision to be serviced by Roto-Rooter. I will keep everyone updated with the completion of the work.

I had an issue with the kitchen sink and I called 5-8 people and was told no every single time. Charlotte Plumbing Masters were the first people who said they would come out and look at it and they had it fixed within 24 hours. Will definitely use them for anything else that we need fixed!

I was able to get a same day appointment(actually within hours). They were quick and professional. My repairman, Stan, was fantastic. He was professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he was not giving a company line. Stan was trying to help and give his honest opinion. Stan gave advice on how to help going forward. Instead of trying to push more products and services, he advised how you can do things yourself or if we wanted what he could do to help.

We needed a new septic pump which MKB installed very promptly and perfectly. Then our pipes went hay wire and we were unable to use anything, from the toilets to the kitchen sink. Mike spoke with me all weekend and even had someone here Friday, Saturday, and himself on Sunday. Everyone was kind and professional and made my needs a priority, taking time from their weekends to ensure our problems were fixed and fixed correctly. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Our main water supply line cracked after the meter and all plumbers gave at least three days wait before they could show up. E.R. said they would get here today same day sine it was an emergency and they would make it work in their schedule. They showed up within a few hours and fixed the leak quickly. They showed up here when no other company would even consider it.
