Booking a service call online was easy and I got an appt. quickly. The technician, Terence, was polite and friendly. He understood my concerns on the cost and he thoroughly explained my options and next steps we would need to go through. He solved the issue quickly and there was no upsell (unlike Morris Jenkins). I appreciate Terences transparency and integrity throughout the job as I know nothing about plumbing.

We discovered a leak under our house on a Sunday and Jonathan Farley showed up within an hour. He was incredibly professional and honest about the necessary repairs. Now our water pressure is better than ever! We can’t recommend him enough. Thanks Jon!

I don’t usually put reviews on the internet, but with this issue I faced being so large I had to put a a good word. While I was on vacation my water heater ( located in my attic ) began to leak I came home to my home being flooded I was distraught. I called them up they sent Cabe out to me in no time at all. He was skillful in his assembly and diagnoses. He was able to find the root of the problem in no time at all, and got it repaired in a timely manner. He was extremely transparent with me allowing me to see everything he was seeing as if I were fixing the problem with him explaining things during the repair. I whole heartedly recommend these guys to everyone. And would recommend you ask for Cabe never using anyone else for plumbing services again!!!

This was the FIRST professional plumber I’ve ever contacted since owning my home.After the plumber identified what he thought the problem could be, I was told that if I didn’t accept the service (replace the toilet wax), that it would be $150 since he told me that “It’s probably the wax”.He said if I paid for the service then he would waive the travel fee.So I paid $330 dollar to change the toilet wax; no travel fee included.I called the company today, because the price is way higher than any estimate that I could find for the same service.The company said that there was NO $150 travel fee - which is the ONLY reason I paid $330 to change the wax. I can’t afford to pay $150 for someone to say they “think” It may be the toilet wax, while never even going into the crawl space to check for water being the culprit of the musky smell indoors.I was serviced by Caleb Sadler and would not refer him to anyone knowing that he’s manipulating customers to over pay by several hundred dollars.My baby died in January. I quit my job. I’m 100% disabled. I have a mental disorder that impairs judgement.I was looking for someone to help me, not take advantage of me.

This place was great. Aldofo was very professional. They were quick to come on a Sunday and cleaned out my sewage drain. Very nice and professional, I will definitely use them again!

I believe my technician’s name was Zai and he was very efficient and thorough! He made sure everything was 100% fixed before he finished and even left the area cleaner then when he started! He was professional and friendly the whole time and I’d definitely (but hopefully won’t have to) use him again!

Great experience, had to call them on Easter Sunday and they were at my house within the hour. Repaired my leak and even called water restoration company to come out and look at the damage.

The plumber showed up at a retail store and gave me a price of $530.00 to unclog the toilet. As I was waiting for approval for the Corporate office. It was taking corporate extra long to get approval and he left and said he could come back tomorrow, which was fine, I don't blame him. I finally got approval for the amount he quoted me.He arrive the next morning and informed me that he needed to pull the toilet and clear the line which is additional $290.00: the total price being $820. and some change. This was extremely frustrating because he quoted me $530, but the bill ended up being $820.00.I had to pay for the additional money. I feel frustrated.The tech was nice, but I felt like he should have know that there was not a clean out and he would have to pull the toilet.It was not a pleasant experience for me.

Terrence came out and quickly solved our issue with our toilet. Will definitely be using them for our plumbing needs moving forward.

These guys are tops! They were doing work in the business next door, and I asked if they had time to fix a clogged toilette in our business. They fixed the issue quickly for a fair price. I would definitely recommend Albert and his crew, and will use them again!

Jeff the Technician was most excellent. He had been sent to our home several weeks ago to unstop a toilet. He was great then and he was great on this service visit as well. He called to let us know he was here as we live in a locked and secure condo unit. He identified himself and worked extremely hard from the minute he arrived. The Roto Rooter associate was very nice and courteous. We had just had new hardwood flooring put in hours prior to his arrival. He was needing to take out the toilet and remove it. He put the old toilet on a tarp and drug it across the new floors creating a large scratch. Hopefully, our flooring company can repair it. It would seem since Roto Rooter knew they were taking out and removing a toilet that they would have a better device the dragging across your floors.

From the time my call was answered to the completed technician service, my experience was super awesome! My service was scheduled and rendered in a matter of hours. On a Saturday, that’s pretty impressive! Zai, the most friendliest and happiest person I think I’ve ever met in life, was the technician. He explained the work he would be doing and after I accepted, he quickly got to work and resolved the issue. At 3:00am my toilet and tub was spuing waste. I called the 24 hour number. I was promised someone would be there between 8:00-noon. At 7:30am I received a call saying the technician Paul was on the way. What a relief. As he was working to clear years of debris from the line Dave came to see how thins were going. I highly recommend calling Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs. It was easy to make an appointment online. I then received an email confirmation. The day of my appointment I received a text alerting me that a technician was available. I then confirmed my appointment via text. The technician arrived within 30 min. as scheduled. My team of technicians (Jeffery & Albert) assessed the problem and explained what was happening and how they proposed to fix it. They then fixed the problem and cleaned up everything! They also gave me tips on pipe maintenance. I was very pleased with the service I received and would definitely call Roto-Rooter again!

Jesse was professional and prompt with the service. He was able to unclog our drain to the sewer and communicated with us throughout the process.

Excellent response time. Technician (Sergiy - 7775) was at our house within 2 hours of the initial phone call. Sergiy was profession and quick to explain why and what he was doing. Service was complete within an hour. Rating of 4 star simply due to the high pricing for an hour's worth of work. We didn't have opportunity to shop around as this was an emergency, but $350+ seemed pretty hefty.

Came to assess a damaged faucet then proceeded to break it beyond repair then tell me it would cost $1200 to replace. Spend the money on a real diagnostic and save in the end is my lesson.

I received a letter from the city that we were required to do a backflow test. Roto-Rooter was on the approved vendor list and I saw there was one in Huntersville. I called and got a dispatcher who said they could service it but couldn’t give me a price. I then received another call to confirm the scheduled time but also couldn’t give me a price and said the technicians provide the pricing and/or estimates. When the technician arrived he said it was $299 for the test and he would be done in 20 minutes. I said that seemed high and he said it also had to account for his travel from Huntersville and work to submit the paperwork to the city and that was standard pricing for the test. I was able to use a coupon to bring the price down $75. After the service I did receive calls from other vendors I left messages with all three that got back to me were under $150. Will never be using them again. Clearly misleading customers and overcharging.

The faucet in the kitchen was replaced. Everything was done well. The only issue is that now we don't get hot water now coming out of the kitchen faucet and we wonder if we are now getting hot water from for the dishwasher. Other than that the service technician did a great job!

Called at 3:30 pm and the lady said that they would be there between 4 and 6 pm. She called me back at 4:42 pm stating that he would be at my home in an hour. Brandon showed up at exactly 5:42. He was very professional and extremely nice. He completed the job quickly and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend Roto Rooter!!

Had main drain blockage. Issue was resolved but price was unreasonable in my opinion. Also, charging tax on service is not a good business practice. I was at work the day of service call, so my wife handled. Will probably not use company in the future. Paid over $600.00 to have simple clog fixed.

Jeff cleaned out a section of clogged drain leading to the main drain that was causing overflow. He treated all my drains with an enzyme cleaner and left me with instructions on how to use this preventative in the future. Excellent service. Very happy customer!Thanks, Jeff!

Had a clog in sewer line that was backing up into home; they responded and arrived immediately; no haggling, cost-effective, they got it done within an hour, and warranted the work for 60 days. Highly reputable and recommended.

The good news- I called them first thing in the morning and was able to schedule the service. 90 minutes later the service tech was on site and within 30 - 45 minutes the problem was solved.The bad news - It ain't cheap! The service was $450 which is a ton considering that the service wasn't after hours or anything. There was a $75 off service coupon online but I wasn't allowed to use it as I was supposed to call it in beforehand.I needed it fixed and it was which is nice but the cost hurts so it will be peanut butter nad jelly sandwiches for me!

Jesse was very helpful. He explained what he needed to do to fix the water leak and provided advice for future work.

My service provider, Eden, was wonderful! Professional, friendly, took time to explain things to me, and solved my problem quickly. I needed an emergency repair and they came within 2 hours of calling. I would recommend!

I called Roto Rooters with an emergency of sorts - faucet didn't close properly and water was dripping ongoing. Rick was very friendly and professional. He communicated very well and addressed all my concerns. He also found the most economical way to fix my faucet without tearing up the whole wall. I was so relieved . I'm so grateful ! This review is for Tuesday Sept 6 ONLY. Roto Rooter called to clean out kitchen drain, double bowl-draining slow, sluggish and backing up into the other sink. Tech (Keith) was later than text, husband told tech to clean the drain pipes to sink, and clean p-trap.From today's recall visit(Sept7), it is obvious Tues. Tech did not clean p-trap. Two knives, a popsicle stick and a big gob of some nasty looking something were in the p-trap. The tech did not do as he was asked by husband. AND he lied to husband when asked if he cleaned the p-trap. Everyone knows if you're testing the drain, you fill one side of the sink with water and then pull the plug. Had the tech done this he would have seen the water backing up into the other side of the sink. I think he rodded the drain, ran water separately into each sink and declared it was cleared. I call this lazy. Especially after he was told to clean the p-trap. VERY VERY disappointing service from a company that has been stellar in the past.

I was so disappointed when they finally arrived to fix a leak under my house. He changed the valve that turns off the water behind my toilet. He didn't fix the leak under my house. A friend found the problem and fixed it pronto. I was charged $335 just to change the toilet valve. I feel like I was ripped off. I am just sick because they didn't fix it. I'm recently widowed and I can't waste my money like this.I do have to say thank you. My money was refunded. However, I did want to pay for the valve he replaced behind my toilet. Customer service was awesome in my case. Thank you.

We worked with Roto-Rooter for a simple leaking sink - the logistics team promised a plumber on site between 9:00 and 1:00. After several phone calls the plumber showed up at 4:30.When the plumber made his evaluation he told us the whole sink need to be replaced. We asked more questions and he said just the sink faucet was the problem. We asked what the problem was with the Faucet - he could not define, but told us it would cost $450 to fixI am a property manager and work with many plumbers and other tradesThis was really not professional work!

Had an emergency leak in copper pipe in the crawlspace. Called Roto-Rooter and they came right out and did the work. I was afraid with it being Sunday that there would be a long wait, but they came quick. Service professional was polite and friendly and very helpful. We always use Roto-Rooter for emergency and plumbing needs. Never been disappointed with their work.

I had a plumbing issue that was very unexpected and b ecame an urgent emergency. I called Roto-Rooter and was told someone could be at my house in a couple hours. Not too long after the technician Stan showed up and after pointing out then explaining my issue to him, he resolved it in less than a hour. He made sure after everything was flowing correctly as well as to educated me on how it to prevent it from happening again in the future. With a couple of other tips to go along with the great service from start to finish, I truly recommend!

I had an emergency with my main line and called Roto Rooter to get and estimate. They were able to get to me an hour later. I was impressed with how fast and courteous their customer service was and how fast they had a technician show up on a Sunday night.Ben was my technician and he was a very nice guy. He addressed the issue and showed me what the problem was. He fixed the main line and my faucet right away and I haven’t had any issues with bubbling or sewage gas from the drains.I highly recommend them and Ben and will be using them again for sure.

A toilet backed up when I ran the washing machine this morning. This was clearly not something that could be fixed with a plunger, so I contacted RotoRooter. The young woman who answered the phone was courteous, friendly, and efficient.Stan, our plumber, was professional and knowledgeable. He explained what had probably happened, how he planned to resolve the problem, and what the best and worst case scenarios would be - with pricing to avoid misunderstandings. He fixed the problem. I would absolutely ask for Stan if we have other plumbing issues.

This is one of those calls you don’t want to make but, when your basement starts to flood, these are the people you want to reach out to! They were incredible fast and got here about an hour after I called. William, the plumber, was incredibly helpful and even tried a few “do it yourself” solutions to save us money if he could. They didn’t work but he was very clear on next steps and made quick work of it. I will definitely call them again if we have plumbing issues and would recommend them to friends and family anytime!

Nothing but great things to say from end to end of the service. The customer service person who first took my call was unbelievably nice and helpful. They gave me a 2 hour window for a technician to come out. As the end of the 2 hour window approached, someone actually called me to let me know their previous appointment was taking longer than expected. I don't think I've ever had a company pro-actively call me to let me know they would be running late. When the technician, Jeffrey, arrived, he was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. This is the second time we've had to call on them in the past few months (different issues) and both times we've received fantastic service at every step and would strongly recommend them.

Reyes was professional, courteous, friendly and effective. My only complaint was that it two hours past the appointed time for a serviceman to show. This in no way is a complaint about Reyes.

I really appreciate Roto Rooter being willing to get some out to my home Sunday night to clear out a clogged pipe. The lady that helped me in dispatched was able to find someone at the last minute to come late Sunday night so that we would not be without water for the rest of the night and next morning. Jeff came after finishing up another job and was very friendly even after having to work until after 11pm to clear the clog. I really appreciate him for that and you would have never known he was here. He was informative and honest . He made my experience a very positive one.

Service professional was very polite. Arrived within the designated timeframe wearing shoe covers and a mask. Issues were resolved efficiently. The only downside is the price, it is definitely more expensive than utilizing a local (vs. nationwide) company. However, the benefit to me is the ability to book a service call in most cases same or next day, while other local companies I contacted could not fit us in until the following week. If you can wait you may save money by going local. But if you have issues that need resolving ASAP based on our experience Roto-Rooter is a solid option.

Update: we called Roto Rooter again to fix a toilet that wouldn't flush and a leaky outside spigot. They were done with both in about 2 hours. While the service isn't cheap, it was done well, and done quickly.“Our shower turned on, and then wouldn't turn off. I searched on Google and saw how highly rated Roto-rooter was in my area and gave them a call. LP (3383) came and diagnosed the problem right away and had it fixed in no time at all. He was prepared, knowledgeable and efficient. I felt very confident that he could fix everything after I talked to him for just a minute. I'm so happy and relieved that he got our shower back to normal right away. A great ending to how life can trip you up sometimes.”

I received plumbing service from Aiden one of the service technicians. He asked all the right questions and took time to diagnose the problem before diving into an expensive expedition. He was able to quickly determine the problem and address it. He also ensured the problem was fully addressed before leaving. I appreciate the education he shared with me regarding my problem and my sewer lines. I’m extremely happy with the results. I used another company a week ago that charged me a lot of money and didn’t fixed the problem. Going forward, I will only use Roter Rooter for my plumbing needs especially because they appear to stand by their work and go the extra mile with warranties.

Dennis Cordova was outstanding! If I could give him more stars I certainly would. From his timely arrival to his professionalism throughout his visit I was very impressed. Eric, another technician who worked with Dennis, was also amazing! He went above and beyond to explain to me each step of the repair so that I understood the problem and the prices associated with it. I would recommend either of these gentlemen if you are looking for exceptional plumbing service.

Stan was extremely responsive and professional with our plumbing needs so early on a weekend morning. He is very knowledgeable and helpful with proactive information/products after service to improve our plumbing lines and septic tank. We will use Roto Rooter again... and highly recommend Stan also. The technician, Van, was so proficient. He arrived on time. Once here he explained costs and offered to have someone contact my insurance company to process a claim. I was impressed with his efficiency and the additional, valued added things he did. He was so polite and courteous.

Technician Stan came out within 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and patient. Explained everything to us thoroughly. Made sure that everything was clear and working properly before he left. This was my third attempt at clearing my sewer line with other reputable companies. The cheaper options did not do the job right and was trying to convince me that I needed a $5800 new sewer line installed. Stan worked that snake and got my system cleared. If you want it done right, call Roto-Rooter!!!

The plumber was punctual, polite and professional. He explained what he was doing and why. The only issue I had was the price, $425 to use a snake. I had no choice but to have the kitchen sink unclogged. He did a good job. Very careful, protected under the counter from water, did NOT a make a mess...very neat.

We had a toilet overflow and were able to stem the flow long enough until the plumber from Roto-Rooter arrived. He quickly did what he could do to stabilize the situation, diagnosed the problem and said his coworker with a camera-snake would be out to nail down the problem definitively. That fellow came out the next day and confirmed we had an obstructed main sewer line obstruction, probably a root. He made arrangements for a crew to come out the next day, estimating a 4-6 hour repair time. They came promptly and were done in two hours, clearing a two-foot long, total obstruction to our main sewer line and creating a new and better access to the buried clean-out. They did a fantastic job, quickly and cleanly. I highly recommend them. It wasn't cheap, but peace of mind is priceless.

From start to finish, Roto Rooter was outstanding. I called them, and 20 mins later, Ben came out and searched for the leak. Another 30 mins later, Fanal came and repaired the source of the leak within an hour. He was great! Right after Fanal left, Ben called to walk me through the process of restoration, sent me all the documents and even gave me the number for my home insurance to start the claim. The guys arrived to dry up the water same day. There's no time wasted with these guys. I'm so glad I chose them. Definitely a repeat customer if I need their services again!

Awesome experience from start to finish! Had a drain backup emergency in the middle of the night and an experienced service tech (Van #1425) came at 3am to clear the line. So friendly and helpful and even scheduled a free video inspection to ensure everything was working properly. I thought it would be a few days but the very next morning (Sunday) a specialist came by (Rich #2479) and diagnosed the line: a collapsed pipe. Explained perfectly the remedy, quoted me a detailed repair report and within a few hours he scheduled a service tech for the repair (Wade #2640). Wade was so friendly and professional and showed me clearly what happened every step of the repair. His work was so clean and he had such a nice demeanor. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone.

LAL, Mike and LP did an amazing job repairing the pipe and it’s connection to the septic pump! They showed up on time and were very efficient and professional. They quickly understood the issue and made sure it was corrected properly. We highly recommend them!

He showed up early got the job done quickly and my wife loves her new Clear Rear he installed for us. He also found a leak that we were having trouble tracking down and fixed it. He inspected our other toilets as well.Very happy with service, will use them again for sure.

What can I say, the team that came out to fix my water damage flooring and walls were the BOMB.COM. Tim, Noah, and Brook were very professional and knowledgeable about the service they were going to provide me. Noah and Brook explained the purpose of the equipment that they were going to be using to dry my floors and walls. I really appreciated the communication they provided while they set up shop. Tim who I believed might have been a supervisor was FANTASTIC, he provided a step by step of what will transpire over the next 6 days. He made me feel like the situation will be handled and dealt with properly. We are purchasing a new home in the Charlotte area. We hired Lee to perform a sewer scope inspection as part of the due diligence process. Lee immediately responded the first time we called him. He performed the service the same day as our first call on a Friday afternoon. The quality of the video and report was superb (and was actually very cool!) Seamless payment via Venmo. Lee ALWAYS answers his phone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEE FOR ANY SEWER/PLUMBING SERVICES!

Stan, the technician, arrived at 7:30 pm in the service window of 6:00-10:00 pm (on a Sunday evening 20 minutes after dispatch called to let me know he was on the way), which was great! (The service call was made the same day I called to scheduled an appointment, which was unexpected!) Stan was very professional, well-mannered, respectful, and clearly an expert in the area of plumbing. He methodically assessed the problem and gave us a clear estimate prior to beginning the job. He effectively cleared the sink drain and gave precise instructions on how to care for our pipes to prevent issues in the future. We felt very comfortable with him in our home, and he was very neat and clean while doing a messy job. We are thankful for such a great experience!

On Sunday, we called roto rooter as we had a problem with our garbage disposal leaking. Within 3 hours they had someone out to take a look. Wade, the technician they sent out was extremely professional, walked my tenant through what the problem was and what the costs would be to correct and within an hour had everything running smoothly again... or so we thought. He had forgotten to remove the knockout cap. This caused the water leaving the dishwasher to back up. In the end I had to go out to the property and redo the work.

We had an issue with our kitchen sink not draining, we called Roto-Rooters at midnight and they told us about 2 hours someome would be out, within 30 mins we got a call from the technician that he was 20 mins away. Very timely. He came out checked it and gave us a quote. The awesome thing about this company they don't charge for ride time, after hours or even quotes, you are not obligated to agree on the work either if you dont want it done, most companies do not do that! Our technician was Derek number 3234, he was so polite, explained everything for us, very very clean and did the job so well. He had great customer service! We will definitely recommend this company to everyone we know.

This company has been quick to take care of the problem and is always on time. They are professional and considerate of my schedule. My service coordinator was Eric. He got the people in place to correct the problems. Tyler was very professional and helped me understand out outside problem better. He showed me the exact problem and walked me through the process of resolving it. Our inside plumber was Jeff. He located the problem and had it fixed in very little time. He tag teamed with Stephanie, who gave up some of her day off to check on the progress of drying out my house. Eric did a lot to reassure me regarding insurance angst and was on top of the whole project. The whole team of people worked hard to make my experience a lot less stressful. Thank you Roto Rooter!

The guy was very knowledgeable he know what he was talking about and he went right to the pipe and I thought it was something else and he told me it wasn't and he was honest about it and he came in and unclog the toilet and a matter of just a few minutes. We were very impressed with Roto-Rooter services. Our house flooded with sewage water on a Sunday afternoon and they came out within the hour. They did a great job and matched the price of our insurance company. Would absolutely use them again.

Called Roto-Rooter to clean out the main drain line and within 1 hour they arrived! It wasn't an emergency, and so I was shocked that they were able to come out so quickly. The drain issue was resolved within 2 hours. Jeff was very helpful in pinpointing the issue and in clearing the line. Very professional and quick and now our drains are clear! Jeff also sold us a product to keep line clear. The bill was a bit higher than I expected when I first made the call, but I am clearly not a plumber and I was very satisfied with the service.

We asked for a plumber and the logistics team said they would be there between 9-1:00 the plumber finally showed up at 4:30- proceeded to tell us they needed to replace the whole sink. After some discussion the plumber on site said it was just the Faucet that needed replacing. We asked what the failure mode was and the plumber could not explain what the issue was but it would cost us $450- I am a property manager and work with Plumbers and other trades every week - really not professional work from Roto-Rooter !

Roto-Rooter came out in the middle of the night to help us with our plumbing issue. We had a clogged pipe running from the kitchen sink and the clog was too far too reach with traditional tools. The technician was friendly and told us exactly what he was doing. Since our home is older but remodeled, we had an issue reaching the clog. Our tech only charged us for the service call since the efforts to snake out the line did not fix the issue. He told us to call back once we located the pipe, due to remodeling issues, our previous owners did not install a clean out for this line. We called back the next day and requested the same tech to be sent out. Once we called back and arranged a time, the tech was able to auger out the line through a larger pipe we had located. Again, he was fast and friendly and the work is also guaranteed for 6 months. He even gave us a good deal on the clean out charge. I cannot thank Roto-Rooter enough for being there when we needed help, especially after hours and late at night. I wasn't able to wash laundry or dishes until the clog was clear and boy was I happy when he fixed it! Thanks!

We had a plumbing issue in the late evening and called to see if we could someone out ASAP. As promised our tech Lian texted when he was on the way. As it turned out there was a clog somewhere between the house clean out and sewer clean out. He explained two access options to resolve the problem and explained that one service was more expensive. We wanted to go with the least costly which involved going through the house clean out; however we were unsure where it was because we had only moved in two weeks earlier. Lian was so helpful in looking for the clean out and with our permission, got a shovel from his truck and moved mulch around looking for it in order to save us money. The service was a bit pricey but it was not any different than our expectation. In addition we were given an estimate after he identified the problem and he went the extra mile to help keep our cost as low as possible. He worked very hard and was very friendly and professional! We really appreciated the quick response and resolution so that we could get back to normal the next morning. We will definitely call them again if we have another plumbing emergency!

OK so I’ve always considered myself a handyman who can usually do pretty decent work. Unfortunately I had a slow toilet leak that I believe has been going on for four years and we just now we were able to see it on the ceiling down below. So when I mean slow it must’ve been slow... I called Roto-Rooter which had somebody out here within two hours. I knew I was in over my head on this one. My technicians name was Dennis. He was extremely nice professional guy and pleasant to talk to. With the toilet removed he looked at the situation and told me this might get much worse because my floor was soft around the flange area under the toilet. He had over 30 years experience so he believed he could resolve the issue without having to dig into my ceiling to fix plumbing pipes but warned me in advance..... He wasn’t positive until he tried. Luckily his fix worked he was able to fix the flange below the toilet install a brand new toilet and I couldn’t be happier. He worked very hard and very efficiently and I enjoyed the conversation along the way. I would not hesitate to call them again for future needs and in fact I’d probably ask if I could have Dennis specifically.

I wanted to make an appointment for the day after Christmas. He explained that they could just come out to assess free of charge and I stuck with the date i wanted. Confirmation email came and the follow-up call came as stated. The technician Sergiy Z. Was on time and very nice. He showed me the two price ranges based on what I wanted. Once the main problem was found he showed me everything making sure I understood the visual. I met another man that came to give me the quote on the second piece of the job. He was also very nice and made me feel at ease. Although I hated the expense, the experience was definitely a positive one all around.

Jeff called quickly to let us know he was on his way. He assessed the situation quickly, explained what needed to be done, and gave us a quote. I moved into a new place and found the shower/tubs drained slowly. Called Roto Rooter to come clear them. Stan arrived on time and cleared both drains. Very professional and when we thought the pipe cracked during the snake process, ran under the house to check. Turned out to be a problem with the seal on one of the drains so he applied silicone sealer to it. They’re more expensive than a standard plumber but you get a six month guarantee. Well worth it.

I don't write many reviews and as a small business owner, I rarely write bad reviews, but feel I have to in this case. I knew what the problem was and in which pipe, so I had an idea what would need to be done and what it should cost. I was told that I would be called when they were on their way and got that call. Over an hour later I called to determine if they needed directions because they should have been there at that point. Dispatcher looked it up and said they weren't actually dispatched till 35 minutes after I was called. But that wasn't the disappointing part. When they arrived, I was told the price would be $380 TO SNAKE A PIPE. Outrageous! That's a car payment. I declined. Ultimately, I got it done for well under a third of that and it took all of 20 minutes.Update: Again, I normally do not write these, let alone do updates. But given the aftermath from my review, I felt it was important. Now I do recognize and appreciate when a business reaches out and tries to correct a problem. Had they simply done that, I probably would have changed the star rating by a point or two, giving them kudos for trying. I politely gave them my reasons, and it would have been easy to just let it go or even ask once if I would reconsider what I wrote.But they didn't stop there. In total, I had 4 different phone calls, all trying to get me to either remove the review or change it to a positive review. The last one stating that I should just remove it because they didn't do the service. Well no... that's the point. I didn't LET them do the service because of their charges and how they handled it. I finally asked him to not call back, and they have not. Therefore, I will give them credit for finally dropping it, respecting my wishes, and for being very polite and responsive. All in all they are probably decent people and my gripe is not personal.

Waide (Tech #2640) was prompt in arriving and very professional in tending to plumbing needs at our rental house He completed work in evening hours and made sure drains were connected and working properly before he left. The actual technician was GREAT - he was knowledgeable and personable! The customer service (dispatch and supervisors) at Roto-Rooter was HORRENDOUS!!! They were extremely unprofessional. We booked an appointment for Monday between 4pm -8pm and no one showed. We rescheduled for Tuesday between 12-2pm and the plumber arrived at 5:20 pm!!! After multiple calls and the dispatch saying he is on his way. I missed an afternoon of work waiting for them and their only solution was to give me a 10% discount (after I lost more than 10% in income). It is completely unacceptable. The plumber was able to show me that he was not made aware of the job until after 4 pm (via internal messaging), however, they notified me way earlier saying he was en route when he was still at another appointment an hour and change away. Their lack of respect for client time and needs is outrageous. Will never use them again and will tell everyone to STAY AWAY!

Stan was exceptionally polite, clean, efficient, and thorough. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and did so in layman's terms. He did not waste any time and he even offered some valuable advice on how to avoid some pretty serious problems going forward.I had not intended to use Roto Rotor but our home warranty service provider was going to have us wait 72 hours before the next available plumber could come out. While we would have likely saved some money there was no way we were going spend 72 hours without a functioning kitchen sink (due to a stoppage between the wall and the sewer main line).I recommend Roto Rotor, and Stan, and will not hesitate to call them in the future. Certainly better service than I got from my home warranty.

Placed a call on Saturday for clogged sewer line. A technician responded in about 45 minutes to clear the line. Unfortunately the next morning I experienced the same issues. Called back on Easter Sunday. Again the response was was within the hour. This time the technician was Keith Barker. Keith was polite and professional. He helped me remove my septic tank lid, at which time he discovered the pipe going in was still clogged. Keith snaked it again, this time clearing the line. Keith did an outstanding job !!! The technician showed up with no personality at all but getting my water leak fixed was the most important thing, however all he did was patch the leak..I still have to rewrap my pipes myself...250 dollars for a patch and a technician that was less than happy to be doing his job and a half done job. Not really happy. But I gave 2 stars because the gentleman I talked to to set up the appointment was super nice...I give him 5 stars..but at the end of the day, I'm still left with a half a-- job.

I was surprise the would come as evening grew near. They sent a nice professional man named Darrin. He looked at my drainage and made sure I had good water supply and then he honestly told me the truth, my drain line in from of my home was not damaged or in any danger. I didn't get his last name but you have a great man with your company.I appreciated his honesty, he replaced my cap and he was done. They were extremely fast and the quality of their work was excellent. We found a leak in some old piping in our basement, and Nealleigh let us know that it would be better to replace all the old piping to have PVC instead of just a small piece since the cost of the parts was not much more at all. It turned out that the old pipes she suggested we replace were completely full of grease and gunk from over the years. We called them on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to come out about 45 minutes later and the work was completed the same day. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended! Called and made a same day appointment- arrived within 2 hours of initial call. Danny was fantastic- super knowledgeable and did great work! I will definitely call and request Danny if we have any future plumbing issues!

The initial steps were good, the adjuster came our soon and to a thorough analysis. The technician was then scheduled for the next day (Saturday). He was very polite and explained all the steps in detailed. Where it fell apart was in the follow up. The fans and humidifiers were set up for 3 days but each day he was to come out to get a reading. For each day there was an excuse and that was very frustrating he did not come. In then they assigned another technician to come and remove the equipment. He was also extremely friendly and explain clearly as well.

Aiden, the Rotor Rooter professional (and I mean this in every sense of the word) that visited our home was able to diagnose our plumbing problem quickly, and was so patient in explaining the what, and the why, that I almost wished that I had another leak. Definitely requesting him the next time we have any type of plumbing problem.

First appointment was for 8-10am. Dispatcher called at 7am and said plumber was 30 minutes out. He showed up at 9:30am. Said he would come back between 1-2pm to flush hot water heater but never showed. I called the dispatcher and she was very rude and unprofessional, and said I had rescheduled for the same time next week, which didn’t happen. Because he didn’t show I ended up taking the 8-10am slot for the following Saturday, today, and requested another plumber. Again, the dispatcher called around 7am and said plumber was 30 minutes out. This time he actually showed up after 30 minutes. Dennis was the nicest man and he did a quick, professional job at a fair price. He even found a gas leak and repaired it at a discount. Can’t say enough about the quality of my experience with Dennis, the second plumber - that’s five stars. But the experience with the first plumber and professionalism of the woman dispatching the jobs drops the overall review to three stars.

A cable repair guy informed me I had a water leak in my crawl space. Sam, from Roto-Rooter, came out to give me a quote. He was on time, he was very professional and explained the situation to me in a way I understood. They quoted me on the spot and were able to resolve the problem that same day. They replaced a long section of my old cast iron pipes with pvc. It was a lengthy process and he kept me informed throughout. I was incredibly pleased with their service and how quickly they could address the issue.

We had an issue with our main line at our house recently. Roto-Rooter came out very fast, diagnosed the issue and gave us a few options. The price was less expensive than other companies which was great. The work was completed the very next day and we were back to normal. We had a question about the water pressure after the work was complete and a technician came out within 10 minutes. It’s almost like Roto-Rooter has technicians everywhere haha which is great. Also, each technician that came to our property was friendly and gave us great advice. Can’t thank you guys enough for fast reliable work.

Had the main sewer line from my home back up at 5pm on a Saturday. It was a mess.I called many places trying to find the best deal for my money as well as the fastest service. Not only was Roto-Rooter the most affordable, but they sent someone out the same day when other Emergency Plumbers were telling me it would be days!Stan came out within a couple of hours and unclogged the main line within a few minutes. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. He explained everything he was doing and gave recommendations as to how to avoid having the same problem in the future.Would highly recommend! If I need need a plumber again, I will call Roto-Rooter and ask for Stan specifically.

Great customer service and quick call back to get appointment. Excellent service was provided by the technician, Darrin Ford. He replaced the whole toliet unit, His work was fast and efficient. He was very polite and explained what he was doing. He also hauled the old toliet away, along with any trash/box the new one came in. I called for help to repair a kitchen faucet and had a technician appear at my house within 1.5 hours of calling. I needed to replace the entire faucet, it was 15 years old and had fitting problems with the water supply lines so it was better to replace the whole thing. While Jeffrey the technician was removing the old one I went to a nearby Home Depot and picked up a new one. He was done within 3 hours from start to finish. He was very friendly and gave me some tips on how to avoid leaks in the future. I would highly recommend your service to friends in the neighborhood.

I could not be more impressed with Roto-Rooter. Having a plumbing issue is always a horrific experience. My wife and I had issues throughout our house. The first technician came out and cleared a blocked pipe, and left the bathroom cleaner than when he started his work. Later that day our laundry room flooded. Stan came out at 8.30 pm, the same day - Sunday, and spent 2 hours fixing the problem at no cost. Great company that I will continue to use.

Adolfo did a great job uncovering the problem with our laundry room leak. We weren't charged as it was an appliance issue. I appreciate the honesty and would use Roto-Rooter's services again.

LP came and fixed a backup issue I had with my kitchen sink. He was fast courteous and was able to educate me on how to prevent this from happening again. I also had some floor damage And Steve with restoration was able to come out on a Friday night to look at my floors. He was able to help me out with that as well and guide me through the next steps. A bit pricey, but they did a great job! Will definitely use again!

Had a plumbing emergency and called Roto Rooter because others weren’t able to get to us fast enough. The technician arrived promptly. The quote was more than we expected - Roto Rooter is definitely on the higher side price wise. However I did find an applicable $40 coupon on their website and the technician did what he could to make it as reasonable as possible. The service was completed timely and we are back on track at home ! I recommend google searching for average cost on your repair and looking for a coupon on the RR website before you email them with a service call . Otherwise we are happy and would use our RR technician again . Would be 5 star review if the price of RR services was more mid market then top of the market .

Jeff was very professional and helpful in answering all questions that I had. He was careful not to ruin my flowers that were near the clean-out that he used. He explained the benefit of having the camera to scan for any other blockages inside or outside my house. I will highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Jeff to my friends and neighbors. UPDATE: This morning I received a call from a Roto-Rooter representative inquiring about my dissatisfaction with the price of my service on Friday. The representative agreed with me and we settled on a new price which is less than half of the original price. I very much appreciate their interest and prompt willingness to work with me to resolve the issue. I can now once again recommend Roto-Rooter.I have used RotoRooter before but this time I was not satisfied with their service. This was a scheduled service in the morning and the tech arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after the scheduled time, although he did call and say he was going to be late. Worse, the tech had told me that the work would take 7 to 8 hours and we arrived at a fixed price based on that. As it turned out, the tech was at my house actually working for only about 2 hours and 15 minutes, so the fixed price turned out to cost about $1,400/hour! (After subtracting for parts, tax and a $200 downward adjustment he made because, in my opinion, he was embarrassed.) The tech was a skilled worker but this was outrageously priced based on, in my opinion, a miscalculation or misrepresentation of how long the work would take. Be careful before using RotoRooter.

Dennis was so nice and pleasant! He was punctual and helped to resolve our issue promptly. I would recommend him 100 times over! I used the online tool to schedule the appointment the night before and it was such an easy process. Definitely recommend this company.

I am very happy with Mike, Johnny, and the rest of the Roto-Rooter team. I had a clogged mainline and they came out the same day to fix the problem. It was late in the evening, and I called other plumbing services, but no one was able to help that same day except for Roto-Rooter. Mike and his team were able to fix the problem fast and were very professional with their service (the whole team worked until 2 am to resolve the issue). They really saved my whole weekend.

Our drains started backing up around 6 am and by 8:30 am Sergiy (7775) was here working on clearing the line. Excellent fast service and he was extremely knowledgeable about our problem and how to solve it. He did a great job and even offered suggestions on how to prevent the problem from happening again. Very Good service. Came to the house right on time. Serviceman, Dennis, was very professional, polite, explained what needed to be done to my sink and quoted the price. He finished up quickly and left no mess. I had tried two other companies that failed to unclog my sink. Although, roto-rooter is a bit more than I had to pay the others, I always know that your company will solve the problem.

My kitchen sink was backing up so bad that it was causing my dishwasher to overflow. James came to my rescue and did a phenomenal job. Great service. I was looking for someone to clean out my underground drainage pipes that connect to my gutter downspouts as they were badly clogged and the pop up drain had been long since covered by sod and dirt. I called at 1:45 on Monday, the crew was at my door by 3. They walked the property with me and explained they do the job I needed all the time. They gave me a price and started working right away. TJ and Adonis were finished in half the time they expected so ended up charging me only a portion of the original quoted rate. It was a very nice surprise. I have called several other companies and no other plumbers wanted to take on this job. I would definitely hire them again.

It took roughly 45 minutes from the time I called Roto-Rooter to the time they were ringing my doorbell!! Couldn't believe it, and was very pleasantly surprised. The two gentlemen quickly were able to determine the root (HA) of the problem, being roots from the trees in the front yard were blocking our pipes. They offered me the price of their work upfront, so there was no worrying about if other costs would be tacked on. During their time at our house they were very professional as well as very informative, giving us pointers on how to maintain our water pipes in an environmental friendly way going forward. Would call them in a heartbeat again if we were to have any other problems. Great company, great staff!

Roto-Rooter was a game changer. We had toilet issues that occurred Thursday around closing. We were let down by two other plumbing companies before Roto-Rooter got us all taken care of. Andre (Tech #3585) came in towards closing and evaluated the issue and confirmed that they would be able to take care of it next day pending getting a part. The next morning Adolfo (Tech #2325) was here when we opened and had our toilet fixed in no time. Both technicians were extremely professional and kind. Both technicians were following CDC guidelines and had mask and gloves and were tidy and organized. Adolfo was careful to leave the space nice and clean once he finished fixing the toilet. Called Roto-Rooter to service a broken toilet in the master bedroom. They quickly responded, but I had to reschedule. Again, they were more than willing to accommodate my schedule. When Ronnie Suggs got here, he was very professional and quickly fixed the toilet. It was great. He was great. The service was wonderful. I will call on them again for any service I need.

After calling around we finally got Roto-Rooter Plumbing to commit to the same day -- we got a call when the plumber was running late, and a call with a time correction -- and this time the plumber arrived as expected.Stan from Roto-Rooter Plumbing was very quick to diagnose the issue and reassure that it can be fixed. He was able to explain everything that needed to be done, answer any questions and overall show the degree of professionalism I haven't seen in a long time. I have to admit, it is always fun to watch some who who knows what they are doing.We're very happy with the service we received.

The service by itself was good and the technician was professional and nice. My issue is with the scheduling. I was given a time of 5-7 PM. At 7:15 I received a call and was told I was next in line, but the technician was not on his way. Then at 9:15 I called back to see if someone was on their way. They said I was still next in line, but no one was on the way.At 10 PM I walked upstairs to go to bed and the doorbell rang. The technician arrived without a call and ended up having to be there until almost 11:30 PM. The work was solid and am happy with the service. I just wish the scheduling had been handled better.

My appointment time was from 6p-8p. Plumber showed up at 930p. Will say that he was professional, and apologized for delay. He was quick in making repair.
Would have been 5 star, but it was really inconvenient to have to wait an hour past scheduled call time.

I would recommend this company anytime for anything they do. Our 80-year old cast iron drain lines reached the end of the road and developed a leak. Two plumbers worked all day underneath the house and replaced the old lines with modern PVC lines. They did a outstanding job and thoroughly checked their work. They made sure there would be no damage to our kitchen as they removed the old lines and brought in the new ones.

He was professional and courteous and took time to answer my questions and explain how the plumbing lines work and how they become clogged. It is SO good to be able to use my kitchen sink again. He gave me tips on how to keep the line open and explained the 6-month warranty. He gave me his contact information and told me if I have any questions, concerns, or problems, to contact him. Because of his professional manner we had him to do a couple of additional less pressing jobs while he was here which he handled without a problem. We had every out pipe in our house filling up our downstairs bathtub - clog in the main sewage line. We had someone come out, and it seemed to be fixed for a few days, until it started happening again on a Saturday evening. Panicked, because we couldn't use our water and we expected to pay a significant premium since it was Saturday evening, we called Roto Rooter based on the reviews. Stan showed up around 8 that evening. He was professional and friendly, but more importantly, he refused to stop until he had figured out everything that was wrong. The whole process took about 90 minutes for a full diagnoses and repair. The problem was completely fixed, and Stan gave us several pointers to prevent it from happening again. He left all relevant contact information and followed up to make sure everything was ok. I cannot recommend Stan or Roto Rooter highly enough, and they have made a customer for life.

From the time I received the call that a serviceman was coming Daniel was at my door in 15 minutes. Daniel was fast , friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful. That means a lot to an old lady. Daniel's.estimate was within the dollar amount he quoted and was aware that he had mud on his shoes and did not want to soil my floor. I liked that. Because of Daniel's service and attitude I would recommend Roto-Rooter to all my friends and neighbors. I also would recommend Roto-Rooter to all my family and they live in Toledo, Ohio.

I initially contacted my home warranty company who requested a plumbing company to come out and they couldn't get here until Wednesday, 2 days later. I called Roto Rooter and they came out within the hour and fixed my problem with 45 minutes. Sergiy was my technicians name and he was so professional and polite!!!

I called Roto-Rooter and their technician was timely and friendly. He assessed the situation and said that it would probably take 1.5 hrs and he would have to get the part and call me to schedule a time to come back and fix the problem. he quoted me a price of roughly 350-400 depending on the cost of the part. The job would take about an hour to hour and half ( rate 225/hour). I said no problem. He left and I never heard from him again. I decided to call another company after asking a friend for a referral. The technician from the other company came, looked at the problem, fixed it in 5 minutes and charged me a 60 dollar service fee. yes, you read that correctly. Don't always trust these reviews and these big service companies. They are in it to rip you off so they make their overhead. what a joke of a company.

Roto- Rooterr came out and told me it would be $4500 to replace my sewer ejector pump. I had another company come out and and found all I needed to replace was a float for the pump and fixed the whole thing for $400.

I had an emergency situation and Roto Rooter was able to come out the next day. They assessed the situation, gave me some advice, which I took, and the repairs were made the next day. The tech was polite, informative, and very helpful. I rate the service as Excellent. I would use them again.

We had placed a call last night and asked for immediate assistance for a clogged sink. We were given the appointment time frame of 10PM- 12AM. I was told that we would get a phone call from the technician when they were on their way. I called back at 12:20AM because no one had shown up. They said they could call dispatch but they probably were not close to coming. I am also upset because no one called me to say they were running behind. I would've understood if someone just gave me an update. I had to reschedule which was an inconvenience as I had to go to work and my wife was trying take care of our new born. They came around 8 this morning but then we were charged almost $400.00 to unclog our kitchen sink??!! That is unbelievable!! I am willing to give them another chance because I know that this has been called a good company and I am hoping that this was a fluke. I would like for someone to call me back to discuss this. I had several problems that need diagnosis and repair. Stan (from the Trade Street) location, was fast, efficient and honest. He took the time to explain to me his opinion about the cause of the problems, fixed the problems and suggested ways in which I could avoid the problems in the future. This is the third time I have used Roter Rooter, and the second time Stan was my service technician. The prices are standard and there is no surcharge for nights or weekends. Rotor Rooter values your time by keeping you informed of the technician estimated time of arrival. Each time, the technician arrived within the time frame given. I always hope another problem will not creep up, but I take comfort in the service provided by Rotor Rooter when they do.

Jeff was professional and upfront about everything. The cost is at the higher end of the industry, but I guess that's the price you pay prompt service. And, they did send a camera guy for free to do a visual check of the pipes after they had finished unclogging them, which was interesting to see (although, it's to up-sell you into getting thousands of dollars worth of pipe work done). Overall, it was a decent experience with no major complaints.

I had a bathroom leak that was overflowing into my garage. 2 Roto Rooter technicians came out to access the issue, one from the Water Restoration dept & the other from the Plumbing dep . After the joker my home warranty company sent me said there was NOTHING he could do I called Roto-Rooter since my 16 year old home didnt have a cleanout pipe installed. The technician was amazing. It is the coldest weekend we've had so far this winter and I had a broken water line at the cut-off valve near where it comes off of the water meter. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent a plumber out very quickly, even though it was a Saturday.Sergey was the consummate professional and I knew right away that I was in good hands. He worked quickly and efficiently in the biting cold and repaired the pipe. My problem was all fixed before sundown! All the while he was friendly and courteous, just a good, hard-working guy.Overall, it was a good experience and I feel that I got my money's worth. I will definitely call Roto-Rooter next time I face a plumbing catastrophe.

I was a bit disappointed that Roto Rooter did not show up for the time slot they gave me, and pushed it to the next day. I only found this out after calling them myself to find out where they were. It was Super Bowl Sunday however, so I gave them a pass...and they offered a small discount for the inconvenience, which was fair.That said, Gavin showed up at 8:15am the next day and was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very professional. He did a great job replacing my water heater and over all it was a good experience. Had it not been for the missed appt, I would have given 5 stars.

Fast, on time and I thought the technician corrected an issue without needing to replace water heater. A week later the issue came back and upon learning the warranty was still in effect, I contacted an authorized repair company to come out and look at the problem. Roto Rooter did not test the elements, but charged $160 to basically do nothing. Now having to spend more money on labor that isn’t covered.

Jeff Heavner tech 1080 was extremely thorough. He was on time explain my option based on examination and the quickly and carefully got to work.My sump pump is unclogged and I’m happy with the results. Thanks Roto rooter for competent and professional employees like Jeff.

Our driveway storm drain was backing up and flooding our garage. Roto-Rooter was able to clear the pipe. However, this was the third time we scheduled the service. The first day we waited and were called 30 minutes before the window of time was up and told that no one could come. Rescheduled for the next day. Never got a call, window of time passed, and we called only to be told a commercial property had taken priority over us. Rescheduled again 2 days later and we flooded again before then. So, the job was done, but we had considerable damage in the meantime while waiting for service. Also, 30 minutes of service was extremely expensive.

Gary arrived as scheduled and I explained the problem. He checked out the leak and recommended the fix. We discussed it and I agreed. Partway thru the repair, he needed a additional part which he showed me the old part and why it needed replacing and the cost to go and get the part. He returned and within minutes, the repair was completed and there was no leaks. Gary was very professional the entire visit and I would recommend him and request him again for any plumbing issues I may have.

I called Roto Rooter at 11:04 am. I spoke with an extremely polite and friendly associate. Dennis, the technician, arrived at my house even before I did. He was also polite, friendly and professional (and answered all of my questions). He was able to identify the issue within minutes and by 12:15 the job was complete. We had a plastic air freshener piece fall into our toilet as it was flushing. We tried to snake it but had no luck. I called Roto Rooter on Sunday (today) at noon asked if there would be an emergency charge if they were to come out that day. (we had other toilets to use so it wasn't an emergency). They said no ma'am because they are a 24 hour service company there are no emergency fees she went on to say the technician will come look at the issue and let you know what the fees will be to fix the problem. Also they have a $20 online coupon I was able to use. Stan showed up 45 minutes later and with in 10 minutes the plastic piece was out and the toilet worked as it should! I would highly recommend them for any clogged issues . Thank you RR.

We were having some issues with both a hot water heater and a few toilets. We called on a Monday night and Roto-Rooter was out Tuesday morning. Gavin was great and will request him specifically on any future needs! He explained everything to us in a very easy to understand manner and he did the work quickly and thoroughly.

Ronnie was an excellent technician! He was very thorough before beginning his estimate. He explained everything to me and then talked to my husband on the phone to explain it to him. Rotorooter is the only plumber I call. They always come right away. And they come on the ealier side of the estimated time period. They explain everything, plus, they show you a physical list of the repairs/costs associated with the job. You know up front what you can expect, and you don't have to worry about the repairman adding on anything. I do feel they are pricey! But I swallow the cost for the excellent customer service and job well done.

My experience with Roto Rooter was very good. The technician, Vin, went above and beyond to make sure all obstructions were found and removed. The video technician, Chris, was also very helpful in viewing the drain line from different directions. I would call them again if needed.

We were working on fixing up my son's house for sale and one of the toilets started having flushing issues. I set up an appointment days ahead of time with another plumbing company only to have them call the morning of the service to tell me they were short on plumbers and would have to reschedule (why I scheduled so far in advance!}. We were only in town a few days so needed the job done soon. We called RotoRooter and they said they could be there in about an hour! Dennis (4908) showed up promptly and figured out the problem just from the detailed description of the issue and then found our main clean out and confirmed his thoughts that it was backed up with a clop somewhere between the house and street. He used his power auger to thoroughly clean the drain, checked all the toilets, tubs, and sinks to confirm they were all working. Dennis was exceptionally personable, professional, and thorough. He further mentioned that if we were concerned with the condition of the pipe for the future, his manager could use a fiber optic camera to check it out. Since we were putting the house on the market we wanted to make sure everything was on the up and up. Eddie, the manager, came by later the same day and and scoped the line. We watched the video feed with him while he explained what we were seeing. He was able to go all the way to the street with the optics and showed not only were all clogs gone but the tree nor any other issue was present with the pipes. Eddie and Dennis were both great people and representatives of RotoRooter. I cannot recommend their services highly enough. We were very, very, pleased.

Stan did a great job for us. He arrived at our house within an hour of calling.I snaked the drain myself before I called. I found roots in the line so knew I had a big problem. Stan was able to clear the roots out of my drain. He also used a camera to inspect the drain.I need to get install a new gravity drain to to ultimately correct the problem. Stan answered all the questions I had about the process. He also located the existing drain for me so that I can excavate it later.Very satisfied, prompt, quality service.

It's winter... It's freezing and my pipes decided to burst while I was at work. I called Roto-Rooters due to their reviews online. Within the hour Steve Mumpower was at my home calming me down and assuring me how everything would be handled and taken care of. He explained the process to me and called to see when the mitigation team and plumber team would arrive. Although Steve completed his portion of the job he continuously checked in on me for the next 3 hours until all members of the mitigation team arrived. So far I am satisfied with my decision to be serviced by Roto-Rooter. I will keep everyone updated with the completion of the work.

Called at 9pm because my kitchen sink was completely clogged. I wasn't going to wait after the night because we have a cat and she could play with the standing water and make a good mess. The agent told me that the technician will be there no later than 11pm, and said I'll receive a confirmation email and a text 30 minute before they get here.Little did I know, I never got an email confirmation nor anyone showing up at my door until midnight. Someone called at 10 and said the technician is 45min away, but no one showed up till 1130. When I called in at Roto rooter to check, they told me to hold for two times, each time returning to me saying hold on more and kept laughing, clearly having a good talk among themselves based on the background noise. Then the call just ended during my wait and no one called back ever. I called in for a third time asking them to cancel because it's way after midnight. When I asked what happened why they can't make the time they promised, they simply said no one has been assigned to you house, what time do you want to reschedule to tomorrow? After I said I don't need to reschedule and just needed a cancellation, they just hung up. Maybe it's too much to ask for an apology when we sat at home doing nothing for 3 hours on a Saturday night waiting. Especially when someone called me to say technician was on the way, we pretty much just sat around watching tv and waited. Whole evening wasted sitting there like idiots waiting for no one...The whole experience is just so confusing and frustrating. Won't ever try them again. I'd rather go with Morris Jenkins knowing they'll charge me about 40% more.

Oh boy, it’s hard to know where to even begin with this review. We noticed a leak in our front yard on the afternoon before July 4th. We turned off our irrigation meter and watched it for a couple hours but the water kept coming so we knew it was from the house and our front yard was becoming more and more flooded. We called a few places that were recommended to us but everyone was gone for the holiday. With two kids at home, we really needed functioning water so we were relieved when Roto-Rooter said they could come the next morning. That’s where everything seemed to go terribly wrong. They arrived promptly the next morning and quoted us $1,700 as a base for our leak which seemed acceptable due to the complexity of the work although we had never had a main water line break so we really didn’t know. They did disclose it could be as much as twice that if some complications arose (which they did). We went forward with the work and this repair turned into over $4000 of work due to the leak being located under the concrete walkway. This was obviously more than that 2x estimate we received in the beginning but it was hours of work on a holiday so we just paid it and decided to move on. However, in our initial quote we were made aware that if the leak was under the concrete then a portion would need to be moved and would be put back but we needed to sign a waiver that repairs wouldn’t be made to the grass. Fine. Except that the concrete was not put back. It was left six to eight inches above the rest of the walkway with caution tape around it and marked as “customer being responsible for concrete.” Do not only was the estimate very inaccurate but this is a huge expense to us as a result of the work not being done as promised. Then things kept getting worse - we had another leak show up the next day. The city came out to look at it and said it was a result of the pressure created by the repair. We had Roto Rooter come back to look at it and of course they did not agree with this (he said/she said basically) but said someone would come to put the concrete back the right way. They quoted us $850/875 to repair the new leak and said they were giving us 50% off since we had just had a major repair. We decided to get a couple estimates this time and other plumbers actually laughed out loud at that estimate and what we paid for our initial repair. Our estimates for the second repair from three other well-reviewed plumbers ranged from $450-575 and most said the initial repair should have been between 2300-3100 if we had had the work done with them. Then, the icing on the cake was that the technician took our irrigation key so that we can’t even turn our sprinkler system back on so now all our grass is dying. I’ve called three times about this and am told I’ll get a call back about returning it but I have yet to actually get one. Oh, and no one has showed up to fix the concrete either. I hired Roto-Rooter based on their positive Yelp reviews so I hope this saves someone else the head ache. If it’s a big job - it will probably cost you more than they say, be done sub-satisfactorily and good luck getting in kind of customer service if you’re still experiencing problems afterwards.Will probably end up having to report them to BBB to get the remaining issues taken care of. Just terrible.

Roto Rooter came out within an hour of my call to give me a second opinion on a blocked sewer line. The first plumber I called said it needed replacing or at least a major repair. Roto Rooter cleaned out the roots blocking the line in about an hour and saved me thousands of dollars. They were honest and so easy to work with!

We had clog in one of our drains at my job. I spoke with dispatch at 8:30 am and they advised someone would be out to help within a couple hours. I asked dispatch to call me 30 minutes before the tech is on the way. Sure enough, dispatch called 30 minutes prior and in walked the plumber. What a great way to communicate and we were very pleased on the quick response. So when the plumber walked onto the job site, he announced who he was and said that he already identified the problem. The plumbers name was TJ number 2691, he was very helpful and went above and beyond. Not only did he fix the pipe he helped us identify another problem. TJ was very helpful, knowledgeable and showed a great deal of professionalism. TJ also gave us other options on other services Rotor Rooter offers, I didn't feel pressured to accept at that time. That made me fell really comfortable and we will definitely go with their extra services in the near future. TJ explained the detail of the job and explained how we can maintain our facility from a plumbing perspective in a better way.Great work, knowledgeable, professional, and great communication!We look forward on working with Rotor Rooter again.

We've recently had more than our fair share of plumbing issues in our 30 yr old house. Thankfully Roto-Rooter has really saved the day. I highly recommend them to anyone who not only needs a fast response, but quality workmanship.

We have almost a 70 year old house and have old cast iron pipes that get clogged every few years. Mostly this happens when we have a party or need to wash dishes really badly. We've struggled finding good plumbers that can come out at 7 pm or a Saturday. But, we finally found a good one with Roto-Rooter. Stan S. came out and did an amazing job! I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs, specifically Stan. He gave us great advice on keeping our pipes clear and maintenance free! He knew his plumbing stuff!

*Update* posted 7-10-17Almost immediately after posting this review, I received two separate calls from representatives at Roto-Rooter who were both equally disappointed at the poor service I received. One addressed the scheduling snafu and issued an apology and discount off future service. The other explained that the tech had incorrectly charged for diagnosis and this was not company policy. He offered a full refund for the charges I had incurred, and was extremely apologetic. I don't believe I've ever had a company respond so quickly and completely in response to a negative review, but it was refreshing. I've updated my star rating from 1 to 5. Poor employees slip through the cracks sometimes, but Roto-Rooter obviously places a priority on customer satisfaction and it shows!*Original Review* posted 7-7-17When I woke up to a backed up sewer line, I called a few places and Roto-Rooter promised to get a tech out between 8:30 and 10:30am - which was the earliest out of any company I called. Unfortunately, I didn't even receive a call from the technician until 11:15am and it was another 20 min wait for him to arrive. Once he was onsite, I described the problem and pointed him in the direction of the exterior cleanout pipe. He popped the cap, some waste water came out, and he immediately said he'd have to snake the line and it would cost $354 to do so. Seems a bit much, but we needed it done and I wasn't going to shop around and wait for someone else to arrive. He also tried to upsell me on an camera inspection which, for whatever reason, would have to be scheduled for another day. Before he got his equipment, he unscrewed a cap to an inspection pipe closer to the road and after looking inside, told me the city would have to come service the line, as the clog was further up the pipe which was part of city property. He replaced this cap with a new one, as he broke the existing one during removal, and told me that the total charge for his diagnosis and parts was $211.00!!! What happened to the free estimate? Conveniently this was written up as a labor charge on the receipt. Overall time of work put in was approximately 10 minutes, and that included writing up the receipt. He also tried to get me to call the company back out to do a camera inspection after the city cleared the issue. I won't be calling Roto-rooter again. They were not upfront about the fact that there would be a huge diagnosis charge and they were not on-time with their scheduling. They try to upsell services and the tech wasn't exactly fluent in English. Not impressed.

Private plumbers were booked two to three weeks out. Roto-rooter gave me a same day appointment h let me know where they were with arrival for service. The repairman explained the issues & stayed with me when he determined the issue was before the meter. Roto-rooter will be my first choice!

We recently moved into a new house - an older home that had (in theory) been renovated from top to bottom. Much to our surprise, two weeks after moving in our toilets and drains starting bubbling up. We called Roto-Rooter and they came out within two hours of our placing the call. Stan, the technician who arrived to help, diagnosed the problem within thirty minutes. It was a serious problem, and he let me know right away that the problem had the potential to be expensive to fix. One thing I would stress about my interactions with Stan (and, later Vasiliy and Dmitri) is that great pains were taken to keep me informed at every step of the process. They never did any work without first telling me exactly what they were doing and why, and they always let me know about the cost before they proceeded with any work. Moreover they were incredibly respectful of our property. At one point Stand had the option of doing an additional test to confirm his diagnosis of the problem, but that additional test involved using a piece of equipment that might have caused some damage to our wallpaper. I decided to skip the test because we love the wallpaper (and I didn't have any doubt about Stan's diagnosis of the problem anyway).We ended up needing our sewer line replaced all the way out to the street, and it required digging up our yard and taking apart part of our walkway. The guys who worked on this project - Vasiliy and Dmitri - worked through the pouring rain until sundown each day. They made sure to damage our yard and walkway as little as possible, and they did a great job of putting the yard back into the best shape possible under the circumstances.I don't really know if the job was expensive or not. I supposed you could find people who would do this work for less. However, given the honesty and integrity of Stan and his crew, their willingness to work well into the evening, the speed at which they worked, and the quality of the work they did, I'd absolutely call them again in a minute. I hope to never have to call about a job of this size, but if I have any plumbing issues in the future I'll be calling and asking for Stan and his crew.

We are a Lincoln Dealership and not being able to use the restrooms just about shut us down. I called Roto-Rooter and within a little more than an hour help showed up. The gentleman's name was Adonis tech#2501 from store 023. He was very professional and knowledgeable within no time my problem was fixed. I wish there were more people like Adonis.

Roto-Rooter Charlotte was great, they sent a professional tech out quickly who completed the work faster than expected. He even went above and beyond to temporarily repair my siding so my pipe wouldn’t refreezd before I could get the real siding repair done. That said, the national 1-800 number gave terrible customer service, so make sure you call the Charlotte office directly at their 704 number.

We called Roto Rooter for a stopped up bathtub. and were given a time slot between 4 & 8 pm Sergiy (7775) arrived within 30 minutes. He quoted the standard price but also told us about coupons, etc. to help with the expense. It ended up being a simple fix done quickly. Sergiy explained the process and recommended maintenance products safe for our older pipes. . He also reminded us of the 6 month guarantee for normal use. Great customer service that will have us dialing Roto Rooter for our next plumbing and drain service!

Had emergency plumbing situation on Saturday. Tree roots...apparently pretty large ones....had grown into and blocked/damaged the sewer line. We had water overflow into the powder room. Stan, a really great plumber, arrived within about 3 hours and removed the tree roots and got our plumbing fixed pretty quickly. He was super nice, thoughtful about handling our home carefully, and very professional. He gave us good advice on what to do differently to help avoid this situation again.

Had a sink draining issue when I got home from work on Wednesday, 8/2/17. Made an appointment online, and Dennis showed up the next morning. Today I called to place a work order for water leak in front yard. In about 45 minutes Jeff, service tech arrived. He introduced himself and gave me the estimated costs and the process to correct the leak. He kept me informed during the process. Jeff was very polite and well mannered.

Stan gave great timely service for a main waste line root clog. Service was quick and he was here within two hours of my online service request on a Sunday. I'd use rotorooter again in a heart beat. Stan was polite and courteous. He answered all questions showed me all roots blocking the line and gave suggestions to prevent it until replacement can happen since the pipe is busted but I had that feeling before I called. They got thing flowing get again and I'm greatful.

I had an excellent experience with Hal, my technician, and the whole Roto-Rooter team right down to the dispatcher. Hal was on time, explained the process he would use to fix my clogged drain, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He had several suggestions on what to do differently to prevent a drain clog, and what I can do on my own if this problem reoccurs so I don't have to call them right away. Nealleigh Rice was our repair tech and she came in with all her equipment and found that we had roots growing in our lines that were blocking the septic tank. She explained to me each step of the way, what she was doing and why. She was honest and forthright about what to expect and very capable and knowledgeable and friendly. We have lived at this address for almost 39 years and this is the first time I've ever used their services but I was highly impressed with their skill and technology in locating the problem and giving us the solution to correct it.

They went above my expectations by not only addressing the drain back up, they also sought out the root cause which was a sagging pipe in the crawl space and they repaired that as well. Tech was on time and quick. They did a good job but their billing is questionable. We spent $534 on a 30 minute drain clog job. When inquiring I was told corporate sets the prices and its a fixed rate.

I've used a lot of other plumbers in the past, but now I know the value of a MASTER plumber! I called Roto-Rooter at 5:30 pm on a Friday night; Stan was at our house by 7 pm. Worked until 10 pm to diagnose the problem, explaining every detail and letting me see the broken sewer pipe and root problem on a video screen at the end of the snake. Got water flowing and then wrote an estimate for the permanent fix - no sales pressure, just accurate, experienced advice. At my request, Stan came back at 7:30 am Saturday morning to begin excavating an area in our back yard to fix the sewer line. This was NOT an easy job! Finished mid-afternoon and again showed me every step he was taking. I give Roto-rooter my HIGHEST recommendation! Stan was the most professional plumber I've ever worked with - his card is now on our fridge and he is the ONLY person I will call in the future! Absolutely trustworthy - no price surprises and no doubt he knew his business. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Way to go, Stan!

If 0 stars was an option I would be sure to give it. There was a leak from my upstairs master bedroom into the kitchen below. I called them on a Sunday at 9a and was told a technician would be with me shortly. All day I waited. They called me with two updates before 2:30p that my technician was finishing a job and would be with me shortly. I went to bed at 8pm and no one still had shown. On Monday I called back to ask them why a technician never. They stated he called at around 8p and didn’t get answer. I didn’t have a missed called, but I decided to give them another chance. I reschedule my appt for Tuesday from 3-7p. On Tuesday They called me at 2:45p and told me my technician was there and I was not home. To which I explained my appt was from 3-7p and that I would arrive shortly, the lady I spoke to seem to have an issue with this. Again I let it go. Finally my technician LP arrived to diagnosis my problem. After speaking with him he informed me that I would be $225 to diagnose the problem. After being here for less than an hr and removing a portion of my ceiling he in fact did not diagnose a problem. He stated “there is no leak” despite me having prior witness water leak from my ceiling into the floor to which I had to place a large bucket. But guess what after no diagnosis I was still charged $225. I’m am extremely disappointed in my experience after choosing this company bc of its high remarks. I am now out of a ceiling, $225 and still have a unsolved problem with my plumbing.Update: first I want to add, that I did forget to mention in the original post that LP my technician was polite. I had initially given them a 1 star because of the situation above, but I did get a call from the manager Carlos who assured me that great customer service is their top priority and that what I went through was an outlier. I do believe that he was sincere and wanted to mitigate the situation. After speaking with him, we did come to a resolution. I would like to say think you for great service recovery and I do believe after speaking with Carlos that this company is definitely worth a try.

Had a wonderful experience with Roto-Rooter when they came to redo my drainage system for my kitchen sink. They were on time, very clean, and the plumber was very nice and answered all my questions. I would use them again and ask for Ronnie.

prompt appointment time given as soon as I called. tech showed up early and quoted a full cleanout and camera scope, told me about an online coupon to help lower the price, and then went to work. came back five minutes later to show me the problem and talk about what I needed to do and charged me only for the diagnostic visit - I guarantee the average tech would have done the cleanout and gone home with the full cost of the visit, but this one did the right thing and showed me a minor problem that didn't require any real work on his part to correct. very impressed with the service today, and will call them again in the future.

We were very satisfied with our experience & service with Roto-Rooter. It was our first time needing plumbing assistance and it went flawlessly. Sergiy (# 7775) and his associate were both super nice and very customer service oriented. They made sure to obviously do their job, but to keep us informed of anything they were doing or found in researching and repairing our issue. Man came in told me it was 450 dollars to put on new faucet. I think he was lying on price. I told him I refused to pay this outrageous price. He reduced price to 250 dollars. Note I had purchased my own faucet kit so this was only for labor. He said there would be no guarantee. I told him to go ahead. He put faucet on in an hour. I was very disappointed in to Roto Rooter pulling this. He was trying to price gauge a senior handicapped citizen during the China Flu. Not sure I can use this company again. I have used them last 20 years. Sad they have people that are crooked working for them.

Last weekend we had guests at our house. Our sewer line had backed up suddenly. My wife called Roto-Rooter and in about and hour and a half they were at our house. Stan diagnosed our problem, a broken sewer line with tree roots growing into it. Stan stayed until 10:00 Saturday night and returned at 10am Sunday morning to finish the job. He had our sewer line repaired that night. He fixed another problem we had on Sunday morning. He was very prompt, nice, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He did not leave a mess inside or outside. He tirelessly dug underneath the tree in my yard without touching the grass. Can't even tell we had a huge problem. I will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.

John Turpin and his partner were excellent. Needed a shower handle repaired and a new faucet put in another bathroom. Took them virtually no time to complete the shower as a new cartridge was need. The install on the sink downstairs was done with no mess and looks and works fabulous. Found my plumbers going forward, that is for certain!

Sergey was my plumber and he came to fix my leaking garbage disposal. He arrived promptly after he called to inform me he was on his was and he was very personable which I like because it shows me he likes his job and cares about his customers. He quickly assessed the situation and gave me an affordable quote so I asked him to do the work. He explained the process clearly to me and gave me a very accurate estimate of the time needed to complete his job. He started and finished the job in an efficient manner and made sure I had the instruction manual for the disposal incase I needed it and showed me that he had taped the utility tool next to the disposal if that was needed. He tested it out and asked if I was please with how it operated. It was flawless and I appreciated his dedication and talent. That is why I chose Roto Rooter because they have a reputation for quality and professionalism. I also liked the fact that Sergeys truck was very neat and tidy both inside and out which shows me he takes pride in his job and it showed in how he handled the job. My water heater busted and I got a very quick response from Roto-Rooter and they sent Ed out to investigate the water heater the evening of the request. Ed was able to determine that the water heater was broken beyond repair and managed to get someone to come the next morning to replace the water heater. Everything was perfect and our plumber, John Turpin, replaced the water heater perfectly. So Ed spent 1 hour here, and John spent about 4 hours getting parts and replacing the heater. They charged me $726.89 for the Labour which comes out to about $145/hr. Overall the replacement costs 1662.24, but the service was great. I believe I probably could have saved more going with someone else.

Roto Rooter sent a technician that just wanted to sell a service that was not necessary After many follow ups Roto Rooter sent the technician with a camera as requested since the beginning. Roto Rooter double charged that later. $4052.00 paid the time of the service and a few days later sent another bill of $697.12. I can not trust the service needed was done and the customer service of following up and sending unnecessary technician that is not ready to fix the problem just for double charge.

Stan did a great job clearing tree roots in the pipes and getting our toilets working again quickly. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond his normal job duties to assist. I recommend him to anyone in the Huntersville/Cornelius area & surrounding areas.

Having plumbing (toilet) problems is not fun but Danny made the best of a bad situation. He was professional and did a great job explaining and fixing. The only issue was that the dispatcher overestimated the timing. In their defense it was an extremely cold weekend causing frozen pipes bursting and my “emergency” wasn’t as severe as those. But Danny was prompt once he got called and returned as promised the next day. He also did what he promised. Overall it was great service

Roto-Rooter performed our annual backflow prevention test and did an excellent job! We were able to easily make an appointment and meet the deadline for our annual testing with no problems. Gavin was very professional and worked quickly to complete the test. We will certainly be using Roto-Rooter for our testing each year!

I had called 3 times during the night until I finally got through, on the 3rd phone call I was told that someone could be out to my house within 2 hours, (this was already 7 pm) @ 8:30 I received a phone call that it would be pushed out another 2 hours , making it 10:00 PM that they would arrive, I received a 3rd phone call at 12:30 AM that they were unable to come and would have to reschedule for the morning at 8:00 AM. @ 8:30 I received a call that they were on their way and would arrive by 9:00 AM. When they got there, we were told that they could not help us due to not having a camera, and that they would need to get the equipment needed and call us. In the mean time I called a local place, they were out within the hour to help and were successful of getting everything. While this other co was at my house and finished with the job, Roto-Rooter showed up, unannounced, to get the job done.I am giving 2 stars because they called to keep us informed of what was happening, even though it was frustrating waiting, at least we had an idea, and the every person I spoke to on the phone was nice, calm and professional.

Hot water heater started leaking in the middle of the night. Service person was at our home quickly and was able to repair at reasonable price. I highly recommend!

I’m posting this for my mother who is the property owner. This account took place during the week of Feb. 3, 2019. With Roto-Rooter’s help, a 12 feet long plug under her kitchen sink was discovered. Roto Rooter came to my house and charged me $267 to cut open a ceiling. They didn't stop any leaks, took pictures and then said they couldn't fix the issue. I understand if you don't replace bath tubs, but my bathtub still as a dripping leak and you charged me $267.

Stan was my tech. He was very professional and right to the point. He had my drain unclogged within 15 minutes of arrival that another major company (mr jenkins) couldn't unclog. The price was a bit high but you get what you pay for.

I called Roto Rooter at 11:30a on a Saturday & by 1:15p the job was complete. This is a trusted name & company since I was 11 years old. I appreciate the fact they do weekend calls & weekend work. Great Service by Ben- prompt an quick, BUT 220.00 to unclog a toilet ( with a snake to remove paper towels) that took 5 minutes, is way too much! For this reason, we will not be using Roto Rooter in the future.

Stan was the technician that was assigned to this call. He arrived to the call by himself. After accessing the problem, it was clear that it would definitely be a 2 person job, in order for the problem to be accessed correctly & in a timely manner. Stan wasted no time in getting to the problem with the help of my boyfriend pitching in & digging the areas that Stan marked. It would truly have been a long day for Stan, had he not had some assistance. It would have been extra nice to have gotten a discount for your services, seeing that the customer had to help. But Stan was able to find the problem which turned out to be the City's problem. I was so very grateful for Stan coming to our rescue. He is definitely an asset to your company & represents you to the utmost.

All I wanted was the backflow to my irrigation tested... I called and spoke to someone, they said they couldn't give me a price, but the technician would. I then received a call from the dispatcher, who I also asked for a price with no success, but the optismist side of me said it go ahead and set up an appointment. It couldn't be THAT overpriced. Boy was I wrong. So the technician finally shows up, smoking a cigarette and quite startled when I walked outside to greet him. I asked the price.. ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS FOR A BACKFLOW TEST?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I told him to leave, made another call, backflow got tested the next day for $50. The only thing I can think of is the company thinks that by not providing a price until the tech arrives, the home owner will feel guilty and let them do the work to avoid awkwardness, which I think is horrible and will not be calling roto-rooter for anything in the future.TLDR: Do not use this company for backflow testing. Wasn't told a price until they arrived at house and it was 3x as much as other places.

Steve, with Roto-Rooter came out and work on my mother's water heater. The water heater was about 15 years old and it was time to either change the element or change the water heater. Steve work on the trying to change the element but the element bolt was rusted and Steve could not break the bolt to change out the element. Long story short a new water heater was installed by Steve. Steve did a excellent job and he was a professional the whole time because Steve had to rework the copper water pipes and it was just a lot to me. I want to thank Steve and Roto-Rooter professionalism, patience and outstanding work and restoring hot water at my mother home.

The main sewer line at my house needed repaired. Travis (4566) called ahead and arrived when he said he would. Travis was very professional and courteous. He told me the damage to the sewer line was caused by the roots of a bush growing close to the line. He explained to me how he was going to repair the damage and he worked into the night to complete the repair. I am very pleased with his work and I would request Travis to do needed work in the future.

The scheduler, Theresa, did an excellent job of listening to plumbing problem. She was very courteous and very responsive in arranging for a plumber to arrive the next morning. The plumber, Sergiy Zhavko (7775), was very courteous and did an excellent job of explaining the levels of service available with appropriate costs. He cleared the sewer line blockage and used a video screen connected to a camera and light that he fed down the pipe once it was cleared. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and showed me the video screen. Overall I was extremely pleased with the quick resolution of my sewer line blockage. Sergiy is a true professional whom I am very pleased to have met.

I woke up to 2 inches of standing water on the outside of my home, and called Roto-Rooter asking for them to send someone out to take a look.The customer service representative indicated that she was marking our case as an emergency, because it could be a broken water main, and assured us that we'd be hearing from a technician shortly once they were en route (this was at 9:30am). After not hearing anything by 1:30pm, I called back and was transferred to dispatch, who told me that a technician had been assigned to our address, and I should be expecting a call shortly. After not hearing anything by 2:30pm (water is still flowing and now about 6 inches deep) I called back again, and was transferred over to dispatch, who told me that now they couldn't get ahold of the driver, but they'd call me back once they did. I told them that I would wait on the line until they were able to contact him. From there, I was transferred to their administrative offices in Cincinnati, who told me that they had mistakenly assigned a camera guy to the job, and that they needed to assign it correctly in the system. I was assured that aa proper service technician would be out to our house within 45 minutes.Well, a technician arrived at our house at 4pm, and then told my wife that there was nothing he could do to fix the problem, and he needed to request a certified worker to come out to our house to fix it. He charged us $100 for turning the water off.I'm not one to write negative reviews, and I understand that Roto-rooter was probably inundated with calls due to the cold weather, but this was absolutely insane. At every step, each employee successfully punted this service call off to another employee, so that they wouldn't have to deal with it. All the way up to their corporate offices in Ohio.They may do a good job during the off-season when it's not busy, but it was clear to see that a cold-snap in Charlotte was way more than they could handle.

Toto Rooter showed up after I had an emergency on a Sunday afternoon. I give them five stars for that and temporarily taking care of the issue.After that, here a team of specialists. 1) construction specialist 2) environmental specialists. End result was a high quote to repair sewage line and repair damage in the house. Had to look elsewhere for that.No complaints about responsiveness or punctuality.

Jeff repaired my issue in a very timely manner and explained the process so I could understand what went wrong and the best way to resolve in the future. I highly recommend Roto-rooter.

Ran a little over the 2 hour arrival timeline I was originally given, but service technicians were kind, courteous and worked quickly. Price was a little higher than I anticipated, but know that's the downside of wanting something done quickly and not being able to shop around for best price. That being said, they were upfront with the price prior to starting the work and total came in at quoted price.

Daniel showed up less than an hour after I called Roto-Rooter on a Sunday afternoon. He took off his shoes before entering the house and first asked to see the issue/problem. After discussing the leaking sink and what I had tried, he offered a couple of solutions and the subsequent price for each. The leak was partly due to a clog that was ~15 ft down the pipe, which I was unable to unblock with my hand auger. Daniel quickly and efficiently unclogged the pipes with a large electric auger and replaced the j-trap pipes, then cleaned up with his own spray bottle and paper towels. He was personable and talked me through what he was doing as he did it, pointing out common problems with drains, drain cleaner, and some smart preventive measures to implement moving forward. I highly recommend Daniel and Roto-Rooter and was very pleased yet again with their services and professionals.

Experienced a very untimely issue with our underground water piping outside the house that caused water to overflow in the house late at night. The technician that showed up, J. Ramos, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. This level of service makes all the difference during otherwise very unpleasant situations. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone.

Great service from these guys, good prices, with free estimates up front, and no extra service or emergency fees for late night or weekend (24/7/365). Had a $$ quote from a competitor to replace an entire sewer line, and they were able to unclog it and replace a damaged sewer pump for 1/10th of the cost. Will recommend to others!

We live on the outskirts of Charlotte NC. We had a broken water pipe in the front yard and the Roto Rooter plumber did a great job. He explained the situation to me and was very thorough. When I first called Roto Rooter, they said they could come the same day and were at my door within a few hours. Ron was amazing to work with! He had my drained open in not time. The clog was somewhere between the house and main sewer. The previous tenants had put mud around the toilet and he removed it as well and fixed my toilet seal. I have 4 dogs and he didn't make me put them up. He came in talked to them and petted them. Very happy we called Roto- Rooter! Our tub and toilet were both clogged and we tried everything ourselves. We called Roto-Rooter and got a free estimate, so we knew what we were getting into. Gary came out and took care of everything, even had someone else with a camera come out and make sure the pipes were all clear. That service was included in the price, which was really nice. Also included in the price was a 90 day guarantee, I so didn't have to worry about something going wrong once they left. In all, we had three guys come into the house and they were all very respectful and friendly- just the kind of people you want in your house. Had just purchased our first home and was terrified about what could possibly be wrong when our tub started backing up. Steve was professional and courteous and I could not have been more pleased with the job he did! It was an emergency. I was told he would arrive within the hour and he DID! The job entailed capping a water line to the refrigerator because it was leaking all over my kitchen floor. Seemed simple enough at the time but another leak was discovered during the process and the job became more involved. Roto-Rooter -- Sergiy #7775 -- did a wonderful job. He arrived in less than an hour and within an hour the problem was gone. He was very personable and we would have him back at our house for any future plumbing problems.

Samuel was very nice and clean. He did a great job. If you get Samuel your problem will be fixed quickly with no mess. But the company is too expensive. They charge about $70 to $80 more per hour than other plumbers I've had in the past in this area. Either way the job is fixed and I'm glad I met Samuel the plumber!

Technician Dwyane was AMAZING!!!!!! The first time he came out to do an estimate, he was very upfront and honest about our plumbing problem, making sure to go over every aspect and avenue before coming to a solution. When he came back to service our septic tank he was, fast, curtious, and incredibly polite. I will never use another plumbing service again. Our home is totally sold on this company.

Was disappointed with the amount of time I had to wait for service (granted it was Sunday, but still). Called at quarter to 11 am after almost 2 hours of scooping and dumping backed up water and catching it in time before flooding and was given a waiting time between 4pm-8pm in which I could not use water unless I wanted to be scooping and dumping again. Was called after 6, saying there would be a tech on the way in 30-45 mins. Got a call less than a minute later saying there was a delay. Asked if someone would be out before 8 pm. Was told I had to wait for a tech to be freed up. Again, have not been able to use water for hours! Was called right at 8 saying still waiting on tech and did I want to reschedule. Did not. Wanted to be able to bathe, wash hands, etc. Was called again at quarter to 9 pm saying tech was on the way in 30-45 minutes. Tech finally got to my home at 9:45 pm. He had written down fee/cost (which I knew would cost, but not that high---$350+ plus tax??!!) and I asked is this per hour even if you aren't here an hour?! He said yes. I feel this is and was extremely high (I'm a teacher. I need the money, but I also need to be able to use water without my house flooding). He was here less than an hour--50-55 minutes. I am very, very displeased with the time I had to wait/delays, cost and time he was here. I feel after all of that, I should not have had to pay all of that!

We did not do business with them. They quoted $3000 for a water heater and installation. We ended up getting it done for $650. A water heater from Home Depot costs $400. So they're charging $2600 for 3 hours of labor.

After a rather laborious number of phone calls, the team that finally showed up was outstanding. Lee came early and clearly explained what was to happen to repair a water line leading to the house. Eddie Garcia, tech 1336, worked magic on our Main sewer line today. We woke up to gurgling toilets and sinks on a Saturday. Oh no! I tried to fix it myself my pulling the lid on our septic tank, running a hose up the clean out, even trying to run my snake down the toilet. No Luck! I knew I needed a professional, but on a Saturday? Probably double the price, I thought. Wow, was I surprised when I looked up Plumbers on Angie's List, found that Roto-Rooter was #1 in Charlotte....and there was no surcharge for weekends and nights! And, on top of that, Angie's List members can print off a $40 discount coupon. So, with one short phone call, I had Eddie Garcia from Roto Rooter on his way. Upon is arrival, we discussed the problem, he proposed a few solutions, then we agreed upon a process where he would pull one toilet, run his power snake down the drain, clean out the stoppage, then run a separate snake down the entire length of the pipe with a camera. A camera!!! Cool. Eddie let me watch along with him as the camera traversed the entire 60' between the toilet and the clean out, passing intersection after intersection, showing me that indeed, the pipe was clear! Amazing service, and with a 90-day warranty, I am looking forward to waking up Sunday morning with peace of mind! Thanks Eddie!

Plumber- Stan saved the day...or night. He arrived at 10:40, then cleared our tub drain with his roto-rooter machine, and made sure everything was running freely before he left. He offered to clean up more than he had, but I wanted to give the tub a thorough cleaning after I saw what he pulled out of the drain deep down in the pipe. Since it was a Saturday night, I can stomach the price a little, but it wasn't cheapby any means. Alas. At least now I can take a shower since it's our only bathroom it was kind of important to have it repaired tonight.

On Dec 23 we experienced water coming into our house from a broken water pipe under our house's foundation. I called Roto-Rooter because of a past positive experience with their service. A plumber by the name of Lal Mawai came to help and did an amazing job for us. He was highly professional, and really knew his stuff. He determined quickly what the problem was and then made arrangements (at my request) to come back after the holidays to fix the problem. It turned out that he had to run a new water line to the house...a big job. He brought in 2 other plumbers to help, and I can't say enough good things about this crew. Their professionalism and competence made me feel that my problem was being handled in the best possible manner. They worked hard, and stayed until the job was complete. I will call Roto-Rooter again if I have any problems. Highly Recommend!

Roto-Rooter has come out twice to clear the main sewer line to our house. Unfortunately we have roots growing through it. They have done a great job taking care of the issue and we love that they do not charge extra for service on weekends and nights. In between these two trips, we tried Benjamin Franklin plumbing and Roto-Rooter is far and away better. They charge less and do a much better job. Highly recommend!

Although the technician did not arrive in the quoted time frame (about an hour later) however, they were professional and courteous. They were able to fix my drainage problem in a short period of time and with the initial quoted price. Tech(waide) was training tech(ramon) and did not skip a beat while completing the job. I would recommend their service.

I called Roto-Rooter today, my kitchen sink would it shutoff. They were very prompt , plumber came within about 45 minutes. The plumber was very respectful and he explained to me what the sink parts and later would cost. I would recommend Roto-Rooter again.

Overall experience was ok but there were some things they need to work on. Then technician, although very nice, could barely speak English. There was a lot of lost in translation that happened. I do feel like I was overcharged for what needed to be done but that's what I get for not knowing how to fix something myself. The job took over 2 hours to complete because the technician had to make 2 trips to Lowes when the whole job probably could have taken less than hour so that was a little irritating. The main thing that bothered me and the reason for the 2 stars is I was quoted one price at the start of the job and then they tried to charge me $125 more at the end. They only needed one part from Lowes that was $22 and they were trying to charge me $109 for that part??!! I told them that there was no way I was paying that. I made them charge me the quoted price and that was that. Again, everyone was nice but because of the overcharging act they tried to pull at the end, I will never call them again nor recommend them.

We called a handyman recommended by the condominium association to fix a leaky tub faucet. He not only couldn’t fix it, he made the leak worse. We called Roto-Rooter, and they came the next day. Waide (2640) assessed the problem, found the correct part, installed it, and presto, proble solved! He was a true professional in every respect. In the future we will always call Roto-Rooter - they are the real professionals who get the job done!

They showed up in the window I requested. They were professional and cleaned up. The clog required a larger snake then what they originally tried, but they worked quickly. I could pay with a credit card, and best of all there is a 6 month warranty. So I do not have to worry about another clog.

Unfortunately bad experience on a Wednesday. Toilet sewer pipe broken and leaking onto 1st floor. Technician arrived 2 hours after the window 3-5, quoted around $450, 2 men job, so rescheduled for Friday 3:30. There was no app. for me that Friday so after a call they send me another technician after 6pm since the scheduled was not working that day either. The new Technician quote the same job at $1800!I called another respectable Company, they came on Saturday at 9am sharp, did the job in less than an hour for $450.

Best Plumber in Charlotte! I spent close to 3 hours and 3 trips to the store to try and fix the issue myself. Gavin handled the job professionally in a lot less time. I am a busy person and have very high expectations when handing my money to someone. I could not have asked for a better experience. This was money well spent!

Total rip off. Guy came out to fix a clogged dishwasher and we paid him $300 to pull a piece of gunk out of the tubing. Absolutely ridiculous.Edit - After my initial displeasure, I spoke with someone in their customer service department and was very pleasantly surprised with the results of our conversation. There was nothing wrong with the actual service, and now that the issue I mentioned above has been taken care of, I was very happy with their service. Thank you Carlos!

On a Friday night after hours I called Roto-Rooter and Sergiy Zhavko came out and arrived early and was able to quickly diagnose and repair the leak I had at my kitchen sink! Sergiy was very professional/polite and would highly recommend him.

Stan is the man!!! This master plumber was very kind and professional. He came in diagnosed the problem and fixed it with ease. We had a main sewer line clog from roots growing inside the pipe. Stan dug a hole, cut out the section clogged with roots to install a clean out. He also showed me everything he was doing and explained everything well so that I could understand completely. They couldn't come out on Sunday and were later than expected on Monday. The technician was nice and did good clean work, but the price was very high. I will never use Roto-Rooter again!

On January ,2014 we had a shower knob leak when the shower was turned on. We first went to Lowe's and they gave helpful advice on how to fix it as a DIY. We could have done that and saved a lot of money but due to the complexity we decided it best be left to the pros. Going through the yellow pages I called a smaller plumbing company which charged a $95 fee just to get an estimate! Figuring that to be ridiculous we called Roto-Rooter next and the operator kindly informed they do not charge for an estimate. She was very polite and personal and she seemed to have a natural gift for calming people in a potentially financially overwhelming situation. She told me a service tech would be over that morning! She thanked me for being a return customer. The tech, Ronnie Suggs was very kind and respectable and the fact he was a former Army infantryman heightened my confidence in his ability to get the job done well. My wife and our medical service dog Scarlet (who is very protective about strangers in the house) also liked him and we all had confidence in him! Sure enough our shower put up a bad fight with him which he did not back down from! His determination paid off and our shower is now fixed. Mr. Suggs spoke well for the company and we are very grateful for the service! Very kind thanks!

I work for CWS Apartment homes at the Address serviced 6818 Northbury LN Charlotte NC 2826. The first two people who came started out good , failed to follow thru. I am not rating these individuals , I am rating Adonis Tech # 2501 Branch 023 . I was told by the previous person he was to arrive between 9:30-10:00 am. I called the previous person at 10:15 am,was informed that Baltimore dispatch sent him to another job.I was then told that the Adonis would arrive in Twenty min..,then was text it would be within the hour. It was about 12:20 when he arived. I informed Adonis I wasn't happy waiting 3 1/2 HR'S. Adonis handled this very professionaly , with no excuses . I found him friendly ,very likeable ,honest with integrity. I gave Adonis 5 STARS not Roto Rooter. I hope he receives some kind of recondition for being a very good tribute to Rotonda Rooter.

Sergey (7775) provided excellent service in clearing out our clogged drain in our master bathroom shower. Roto-Rooter has come out a couple of times to resolve some major water issues in our house. They are prompt and provided great service. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

My main sewer line was backed up this past Sunday causing a flood in my home and thousands of dollars of repairs. I had multiple plumbers over early in the week and they told me I needed to replace my entire indoor/outdoor pipes because my pipe was collapsed. I got a 3rd opinion Wednesday afternoon from Roto-Rooter and they offered a difference perspective and found out that AT&T fiber bore a hold in my main sewer line. I did not have a city clean out in my front yard so I hired Roto-Rooter to complete the work so we could confirm via camera that AT&T was at fault. I would like to highlight Field Technician Derrick McCain who had my back through this entire project. He saved me about 10K which is what the first plumber told me I absolutely had to spend in order to get my family back in my home. He was accessible over phone/text and even drove out to my house at 8pm to meet the city of Charlotte to make sure the camera footage was captured. He was extremely helpful and I will be using Roto-Rooter and Derrick McCain moving forward for all my plumbing needs.

We had an absolutely excellent experience with Roto Rooter. One month after we bought our house and had moved with our children all the way from Switzerland to the USA, we had a blocked main line and could not use toilets, shower, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Of course when something like this happens it is a weekend. 1 hour after we called Roto Rooter on Sunday morning the first employee was at our door step. He professionally checked the situation and initiated further steps which needed to be taken. To make a long and very complicated story short - we had the best men working their souls out for us!! Waide and Puia were batteling our situation from 1pm till 11 pm in the dark of the night with flashlights!!! They dug two huge holes by hand, removed a big bush of which its roots had grown through our pipe, they stood all day digging in the wastewater that had flown into the earth for 1-2 years, and was now flowing back. Not to mention the odors they were breathing the whole day!! It was disgusting and awful!!They did not stop until they had finished the work at the highest professional level at 11 o'clock in the evening. They replaced the pipe under very complicated circumstances and corrected the sloppiest work that had been done before. After filling up the holes in the earth by hand again they even swept our pathway leading up to the house.I cannot describe how grateful I am for the support and work of Waide and Puia. An uneventful day quickly changed for the worse because of a clogged pipe and subsequent water damage due to an overflowed toilet; which resulted in thousands of dollars in material replacement and restoration costs to our home. The first Roto-Rooter (R-R) service technician to respond to the call, eyeballed a couple of areas, stated the line was clear, and pocketed a 90.00 dollar service fee. He was in and out in under 30 minutes. Once all repair work was completed, a second plumber employed by our insurer (another company) reinstalled the detached toilet, checked his work and determined a clog still existed somewhere in the line. Another R-R service technician was dispatched. We discussed the problem, which included my strong dissatisfaction that the problem apparently wasn't resolved, let alone correctly identified in the first R-R visit. The performance of R-R service technician # 1151 was a vast improvement over that of his predecessor! Instead of spending tens of minutes looking here and there, service technician 1151 methodically started in the attic, checked all three toilets , any internal or external locations where a plumbing fixture could be found, while also making use of imaging equipment at his disposal. Over two hours later, the condition of all household toilets was 100 percent, and no additional charges accrued. While the moral to this story is whatever one chooses to make it, I highly recommend if you're a Charlotte resident in need of professional plumbing or drain services and by some chance call Roto-Rooter, specifically ask for service technician 1151, also known as Dmitry.

Refused to quote fees over the phone and said they had to access onsite. Said there was no service call fee. I’m thinking they will be the same or better than other plumbers called. They were over $200 more than a plumber with a wknd service fee. The man they sent was very nice so I used them and he literally read charges from a preprinted laminated clipboard. I would never use them again so beware.

So many weird things. First, I called to get them to come out and fix our problem. Our downstairs toilet in our split level home was flooding when we would use ANY water. If we tried to shower or flush a different toilet, water would POUR out of the downstairs toilet and flood the room. When I first called, they told me when the plumber would come and told me about a separate company that would do a clean up and was optional and they would call me AFTER the plumber showed. This service, instead, showed up at my house...no call or anything, at 3:15 (our plumber was supposed to come out at 6:30). After that complete confusion, we didn't want anything cleaned til the problem was fixed, Roto called and said the plumbers were running extremely late so we reschedule for their suggested window the next day; 12-4. They called the next day at 2 pm and told me we were next on the list and the plumber would be there soon. At 4, I called them. The man on the phone said he doesn't know why they would tell me I was next and didn't know about the 2 pm phone call at all. By 6:30, I spoke to a DIFFERENT guy, and he said they could come out at any time of the night if I wanted to be left on the schedule, and I did, as I could not use any water in my home at all. I got a call within 5 minutes after speaking with this man, from a woman who said they did not have a plumber for me at all that night. I was shocked and explained to her I had JUST talked to a man that said they don't have an end time and can come out in the middle of the night if it was ok with me, she said that was true. Our plumber eventually showed up at 8:30. Stan the Russian plumber was amazing and is the only thing saving me from giving this a one star review. He knew exactly what to take care of and went straight to work. It was obvious he loves his job and we could trust that he would get the job done expeditiously.Roto was full of random phone calls, each contradicting the last. They were obviously disorganized and took no notes on my file each time I spoke with a representative. It was frustrating and annoying that I had to fill THEM in on the phone calls I had with every representative for two full days. They need to be more organized, take notes for their files, and communicate better.

I was kept well informed of the time the technician would arrive. Bob was skilled and professional. In addition to doing a great (and speedy) job repairing a leak behind the drywall, he educated me on the cause of the problem and the troubles with Polybutylene pipe.

I contacted Roto Rooter to clear a main line at a rental property we own. The tech, Sergy #7775 was very professional and worked hard to resolve our issue. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter for main line clogs. They have all the necessary equipment to make sure the line is fully cleared.

Service was good. However technician spoke very poor English and was very difficult to understand. I spent $600.00 to clear my sewer line and could barely understand what he was saying.

The process to get support to fix a water line break was great. Daniel arrived about an hour after I called and quickly fixed the line. He was very friendly and completed the job with no issues.

Aiden did a very thorough repair on a leaking toilet tank. He fixed the problem and cleaned the area completely. I asked for him by name because he had installed a new toilet for me a few months ago.

I have 4 small leaks in my condo I needed fixed. Had Roto Rooter come out. The tech didn’t seem to know the names of the plumbing parts nor which bathroom was the “master” and which was the “hall bath”. At the end, he quoted me $2300 PLUS $1000 for a permit PLUS parts and labor. I laughed at him and told him to leave. The second quote I received was for $400 - no permit. I am a woman and my husband wasn’t home. The tech was either grossly under qualified or trying to take advantage of me because I’m a woman. Either way, don’t call them.

Highly recommend Roto Rooter, especially Stan. The overall experience was great. From the initial call with JC to the dispatch followups to Stan working efficiently and effectively to clear up a big problem. Stan could have stopped at the initial snake solution as the water was running well but Stan went the extra mile to put the camera back down the drain to ensure a good clear pipe. He found more egg shells which would have been a future problem. 10lbs of egg shells later, we now have clear pipes and I've put them through their paces in the last hour by running the dishwasher, taking a shower and flushing a toilet that were all in line of what Stan cleared. My family first called Roto-Rooter in April of 2014 after reading several good reviews.On our first service call we were surprised when Sergey knocked on our door. We had read such nice things about him. Sergey was here to cleanout a laundry and kitchen drain line but as luck would have it, he discovered our toilet was leaking water under the house when flushed. This had just started happening so I was glad he pointed it out. I was happy my son was able to fix it while Sergey was still here in case he had run into any problems. let Me start by saying, until now, I have never needed any sort of plumbing service. So you can imagine the stress when I not only needed the service but it wasn’t the easiest of services, in fact I’m pretty certain I was one of their hardest service calls they have ever had. I live in a house that is brand new, we built it in 2015 from ground up so the fact that I had a nightmare of a plumbing issue this early on can probably add to an already increased stressful event. My husband is out of town for work for several weeks, and I am home with my 2 boys just trying to keep the house in order along with School, appointments and everything else a mom has to do on a daily basis. On Friday night out of nowhere my sewage started filling my bathtub (where my toddler takes his bath) and my shower, yes I said sewage, I won’t go in detail but it was the biggest nightmare of my life. My toilets barely worked, and I went the entire weekend trying to use our plumbing as little as possible until Monday. No showers, laundry,dishes etc. only toilet. Like I said a NIGHTMARE!fastfoward to calling rotorooter. The appointment process was an absolute breeze! And waide left and then came back (on his own) just to make sure everything was ok. I couldn’t believe the level of service I received, that is why I felt so compelled to give this review, not for any other reason but to give these 2 men praise because they deserved it so much! Unfortunately now I am about to go and clean sewage debris (a better word for you know..) out of my shower and my toddlers bathtub I am dreading so much, and to top it off mike left me a set of rubber gloves just to try and help me any way he could. Our issues aren’t over because we realized our plumbing will need to be redone, so we will see Rotorooter again, and I can’t imagine ever using another company again. Had my cast iron sewer pipes collapse under my slab in my rental property. This is one of those feel good stories that I have to share with anyone and everyone. I am one of those give it a try first person and if you mess things up a professional can then come behind you and clean up your mess. That’s exactly what happen when I removed and replaced my sink to have new countertops installed, me not thinking, the garbage disposal and pipes underneath the sink had to be disconnected, no problem I grabbed my tools began to disconnect the garbage disposal and pipes. Long story short, countertops removed, sink uninstalled, pipes included, new countertops installed and yes there were some hiccups along the way that required additional work and skills that I didn’t quite have, nevertheless I proceeded, garbage disposal and pipes reconnected, oh and before I forget I shut the main water value off, so I caught a break, items reconnected, turned the water back on so now it’s time to test every thing out. Water on a drip here and there, nothing that a twist and turn won’t fix, dishwasher ran and all seems fine. Later the next day, I filled the sink up with water and yes you guessed it, water seeping out through the pipe fittings, so now thinking to myself and having to share this with my wife and now we both know that my plumbing skills are in need of sharping, so I placed the service call to Roto-Rooter which turned out to be the smartest decision that I could have made. When we had a pipe break we didn't know where to begin! We had water everywhere, it was leaking from an upstairs bathroom into our kitchen! It was a nightmare, luckily we called roto rooter, they were there quickly and they helped us navigate how to go about drying the water out, and the next steps to take, they worked with our insurance, and made the whole process as painless as possible! When something as frustrating as water damage happens the last thing you want to worry about is the honesty and integrity of the people helping you, roto rooter, was honest, up front, and straight forward with what they were doing, what they were fixing and the cost would be, and asked before they did anything. Branden was our water restoration specialist and he was awesome! I would use them again if I ever needed to, although I hope we never have to!

We recently had a plumbing issue. After the plumber Rotor Rooter corrected the issue, he had another person from their mitigation team, Rachael Tilson, come to the house. She used thermal scanning equipment to detect moisture that was trapped in the walls and ceiling, as well as the carpet. She was very professional and did a great job of explaining the moisture issues we were going to have as a result of the plumbing issue. She then had a team come over to cut out the affected drywall and carpet, so they could install fans to get the moisture out. Within 2 days, they had mitigated the issues. Rachael and her team did an excellent job. Roto Rooter is the real deal.

First technician visit turned out to be flawed, opened one drain ans solidly blocked a second, causing late night angst. Second visit was the charmed one. Technician James J. was effective in his use of the right tools to clear our plugged lines, and advice about avoiding a repeat sounded good. I should mention that no initial price quote was provided until first tech. arrived; it seemed a bit high but, overall, was in line with the effort expended.

Stan was my plumber. We had a clogged kitchen sink thanks to some old cast iron pipes and a garbage disposal. He did an excellent job of educating me on how to prevent it in the future as well as any potential problems he saw under the sink. Well worth it.

July 9, 2017 starting the week off bad. Plumbing was backed up it starting flooding in my basement. My son came over to try and help me, he ran a snake through the pipes would not flooding. He yelled to me and said to call Roto-Rooter NOW!!!!! I called them and they came within 45 min. A team of seven came, Ron, Nealleigh, Andre, Derrick, Steve, Tim and Darren, these guys worked wonders they found a hole in my pipes and repaired it, they even cleaned up behind themselves. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter. Now all I'm waiting on is my insurance company for repairs.

I had a clogged sewer line downstream of the house and sewerage wasbacking up and beginning to surface out of the downstairs toilet drain (that toilet was removed due to works in progress)John with Roto-Rooter came out within 60 minutes of the initial call, and spent a good hour snaking the line almost all the way to the city main. The culprit was found and the drain cleared.The charge for this job was $294 ($334 minus a $40 online coupon). I did not do any surfing and price comparisons since this was an urgent job, so I really have no idea if I overpaid. None the less, I feel it was a fair price considering John's quick response and the fact that he worked diligently and finally cleared my drain. It was not an easy job, and required a good 80-90 feet of rooter line. He also had some recommendations for me to improve the plumbing of my 1970's era house should this sort of thing happen again (i.e. install an exterior two-way cleanout).Had I not had the toilet already removed, the cost would've been higher to remove and replace the toilet for access to the lines. (there was one cleanout under the house, but opening that would've spilled sewerage in the crawlspace).Roto-Rooter is not my everyday plumbing company, but I would use them again for emergency service. Fast response, competent service, and (dirty) job completed. Fair pricing but be wary of additional costs (i.e. if a toilet needs to be lifted for access), but probably not an issue if your house has modern cleanouts.Thanks!

The person showed up on time, he stated before doing anything thing else or trying anything else he had to remove the toilet and charge me $615.38. I had to wait for almost two hours for the camera person to show up, then he charged me another $2657.38 for roto rooter to come out and dig up the old pipe, even though I was told I wouldn't be charged for the clean out of the line if I allowed them to do the digging of the old pipeline and replacing it. But I charged any was.

A technician was dispatched in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Not only did he diagnose and fix the problem, he told me what I needed to do to prevent the problem from happening again in the future. I was very pleased with my service.

Called Roto-Rooter to clear a blocked storm drain. A Service Technician came within 2 hours. Before that, their office called to inform us he was on the way: very efficient. Technician (TJ) gave us a fixed price, which we agreed. He tried pressure hose from both inlet and outlet, then snake to clear the blockage, without success. Put dye into the pipe and left it overnight. Came back early next morning to see if dye-colored water was flowing from the pipe outlet (it was not). Used camera from both ends and found blockage. Identified site and depth of blockage (probably collapsed pipe) but unable to clear it. Even though we were disappointed the blockage could not be cleared, TJ identified the problem and is working with us on a proposal for next steps to correct the problem. Overall we were very impressed with the efficient and prompt response and service, and the professionalism and dedication of TJ. We totally recommend Roto-Rooter.

Monday morning March 5th I discovered that my sewer outfall line was clogged. I called Roto-Rooter and Stan Sarlovskis came by and cleared the line so that it would drain. There were roots growing into the pipe. He gave me a quote to dig up and repair the line. Since this had happened before, we decided to take his advice and have it done.On Wednesday, Eddie Garcia came out to perform the work. There were indeed large roots on top of the pipe and once those were cleared and the damaged section removed, there was a mass of small roots that clogged the pipe.Both Stan and Eddie were very informative, they let me know step by step what they were going to do and showed me the results afterwards. Eddie did an outstanding job in making the repair and documenting the entire process. They are both obviously well trained and went far beyond what they could have done. It shows that you hire good people and train them well. In this day and age that is remarkable.When Eddie finished, the area was cleaned up and he made sure that the drain was flowing. Thank you for fixing our problem in such a timely and professional manner.

We had a really gross sewage backup in our house Thursday night and both the unclogger person (name is not in invoice - # 4908) and Stan Sarlovskis (#2439) could not have been more helpful and professional. The person who unclogged the backup helped cleanup and Stan came later with the camera equipment to trace the problem underground. I had a blocked sewer pipe going from the house to the street. The plumbers that came to my house were professional and made me comfortable that they would treat me fairly. I was not familiar with what could happen under ground to cause problems. They could have just unplugged the clog and left and I would not have known that a tree root had reduced a point in the pipe to half its normal width. Those guys, Sergiy and Paul, worked on that root with the rooter for at least an hour and cleared it out. I was able to see the problem and the result by way of a camera they snaked down into the pipe.

Sewer line was clogged. Called Roto-Rooter and two techs arrived within the hour. They were very professional and had the line cleared within minutes. Afterwards, I had the line videoed and the video tech discovered another blockage further down the line. the video tech called the two techs back and they cleared the line a second time at no additional charge. We were amazed to get a repairman who was courteous and professional (Stanislov Sarlovskis from 1700 Orr Industrial Court location) at 6-7pm SUNDAY EVENING to work on our emergency plumbing situation. He planned to locate the pipe block by running the rooter down the clean-out pipe in the front yard.Bad news: We couldn't locate the clean-out pipe in front. Stan insisted it had to have one or the house wouldn't have passed inspections but we couldn't find it. Still, I didn't want to empty yucky backed-up water from the pipe under the house, he worked and dug (90+ degree heat) for hours locating the clean-out pipe in the front yard which landscapers apparently buried under a large bush AND lots of dirt. Then he ran the router and camera through the pipe several times to clean it out as well as possible.We were especially grateful for his helpful, cooperative, professional attitude and attempt to save us money on this project. We are now planning to save up the money to replace the pipe that the roots penetrated as soon as possible.We had time to become pretty good friends while he worked because he didn't finish until after 11pm! I work for a restoration company and have a landlord client who had a tenant with an urgent request for a plumber. Today's service went well. I learned that if a plumber takes the base of the toilet a part, that he is suppose to replace all parts. That did not happen in the past, but Dennis done so today. The base of the toilet no longer moves either. This was good work.

We called around 3:30 PM on a Friday to have one of their technicians come and clean our pipes that were backed up due to a low spot in the pipes. The technician showed up by 6:30 and walked us through the process as he cleaned the pipes. He explained to us why this happened and then used the camera to show us what was going on in our pipes. Rotor Rooter assigned Ronnie to come out and fix my toilets clog and to give an estimate to reply my main drain lines. While looking under my house to start the estimate Ronnie was bitten by cOpperhEad Snake. I insisted he immediately go the the Local ER. Ronnie however said before he wad going to the ER he was going to finish the job and get my toilet unclogged, which he diligently finished and cleaned up. He politely finished then I followed him to the ER to make sure he was OK. My kitchen drain pipes were occluded with grout from a recent tile job. I inadvertently dumped coffee grounds down the kitchen drain this AM, and that was too much for the pipes to handle. Zero water flow, and my best plunger wouldn't touch it. Stan came to the rescue, and was the most thorough plumber I've seen. He made sure that all my pipes were running free and clear. He also gave me some great tips on designing a septic system for a house that I will soon be building in the mountains, as that requires a completely different mindset than city sewer. Thanks Stan! Keith and Wayne did a great job repairing an exterior faucet replacement we had botched and had to have water turned off at the street. It took an hour to access a tight crawl space, replace broken line and install faucet we had attempted to do on our own. Won't try that one on our own again!

They sent a guy out pretty fast the night I had clogged toilets. The guy who came did a great job and unplugged both of my toilets that got clogged at the same time. The price was a bit high, but it was late, and at least I got my bathroom problem fixed quickly before the morning.

At that particular interaction =incomplete job, didn't localize the problem area and snake from there although readily evident as a clean out in the floor in plain site, then lied about doing camera work which wasn't done at the time.The remediation for these oversights has been good, once I go to a managerial level but the interference and explainations up to that point were obstructionist/ deceitful rather than helpful.Shout out to Liam, LP and the head of the camera work whose name I am sorry I forget, starts with a B; for stepping up and rectifying the situation and going out oftheir way to give rapid, excellent service. Sergiy (tech 7775) found the blockage in my sewer and got it cleared. He located the clean out, which was well hidden, and also where the pipe was cracked due to an invasive tree root. 2 other companies had failed to locate the cleanout and only partially cleared the drain. Sergiy scheduled an appointment for the replacement of the pipe early the following day (tech 9886).Both technicians were extremely helpful and explained the work they were doing. Plants that had to be moved were replaced and the work area put back to the way it was.I highly recommend Roto Rooter and only wish I had called them first. I had an ongoing issue with a backup in my plumbing, causing my washer to leak. I called Roto Rooter at 1pm on Sunday, and within 1 hour, Rhett Reynolds (the best plumber in Charlotte) showed up at my house. As he was troubleshooting, he found a GAS LEAK with my water heater. Not only was there a gas leak, but I had stored my lawn mower in the same storage closet. Rhett quickly leapt into action, fixed the gas leak, and of course fixed the pumbing issue. Sewer line blockage. The first plumbing company I consulted told me I had to remove a huge tree and then they could replace the sewer line. $$$$$.Wanting a second opinion I called Roto-Rooter. A plumber was here shortly there after and with a camera was able to locate the problem under the foundation not the tree. By noon the next day all work was completed. The reputation of this company was good but the service was crap and left a huge mess.The follow-up on the complaints were as bad as the service. Called roto rooter because I had very good experiences with them in the past. They came promptly and helped us with the immediate problem of water damage in the basement. Very flexible about times when we were here for them to come out.

We had a backup of sewage into our master bedroom shower. Stan showed up on-time, was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave us tips to prevent back-ups in the future - as our plumbing has some unique challenges.

When the first plumber could not locate the source of the leak, the manager sent me a master plumber who fixed the problem to my satisfaction without additional charge. The manager did this based on my evaluation which impressed me. Thank you Gary and Trent!

I have used Roto Rooter for years and the service has always been excellent. No job seems to be too big or too small. The service people are always courteous and prompt. I would not use anyone else.

On 02/24/12 we had a problem in our less than 5 year old Mayfair townhome. Our toilets would not flush. We called Roto-Rooter. Dimitri was sent out and through the use of his Roto-Rooter machine through a foyer toilet, was able to unclog the drain. The drain was clogged with tree roots. I went out the next day and got some foaming root inhibitor. Directions say repeat in 6 months. The cost of this trip was $446.00.On 08/10/12 we had a repeat of the February problem. Dimitri again came out promptly and using his Roto-Rooter machine through the outside cleanout (much more convenient way to do the job) was able to clean the clog. Again tree roots. I requested that they schedule a trip to dig up the line and repair whatever was allowing the roots to get in the pipe. The cost for this trip was $285.00.On 08/13/12 Dimitri returned with a camera and after some digging in the front yard found a glue joint that was not properly glued that was allowing roots to enter the line. After cutting out the inferior joint Dimitri dug up more of the line on either side of the joint and found that the top of the pipe had a large broken piece (about 12 long) in the top. More roots had entered at this break. This was repaired and the dirt replaced as best he could. The cost for this trip was $882.30. Total cost $1,613.30!Service was great, Dimitri is a nice guy and did a good job. VERY EXPENSIVE!

On time but hugely expensive. Will cost an arm and leg for any service they do. They will not win the work if they compete with other companies. Will not call them again. Charged me $540 to unclog pipe. Overall 2k charged for
Unclog and replacing a small portion of pipe. A total rip off for me.

Very professional, very prompt. Had a clog in our main drain pipe; also included in the service for removing the clog was to run a video camera down the length of the pipe to check for any additional obstructions. Would highly recommend.

Fast response, crew did a good job at fixing the issue with the sewer main. They left a bunch of broken concrete in the grass area which could have resulted in a nasty cut to pets and people, just wish they wouldn’t have used the grass area to bust up the concrete to put in the truck, and lots of dirt and debris in the road area, other than that issue all well.

they will not give a price quote over the phone, which means they will more than likely charge way more than the other companies. tucker plumbing in Charlotte NC on rocky river road gave me a quote for $125 over the phone to snake my one bathroom sink drain. roto rutor REFUSED to give me even a rough estimate on a pipe snake procedure. what a crock. I would NOT recommend this company!

This company is truly the best in town!!! Steve Mumpower ( Water Restoration Specialist) and Tim Parton and SAl ( Water restoration Technicians) are professional and prompt! Mike Hallman (Excavation Specialist) professional and caring and his team Lal, Hal and Mike gets the job done right!! These guys knows what they are doing! Travis Blanton very personable! They made this stressful situation seems like a walk in the park. I could praise them all day long!!!
