Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Had a challenge with my toilet and I called because of the amount of great google reviews. It was also closest to my house. They picked up right away and was able to schedule a technician to come to my house in the next two hours.
The tech came 1 hour later and I was highly appreciative. The solution was easy and they had the part (it was just a broken handle). It cost me less than $200 and I appreciated that they did exactly what I needed they did make future recommendations about what could need to be fixed in the future.

I will definitely keep them in mind when I need another plumber.

Jeff Ramos was very professional, polite and courteous. He took time to explain the process and then worked diligently to resolve our issues. Further corrective action will needed and he was very helpful ensuring I understood the next steps.

The specialist refused to acknowledge the issues we were having prior to Roto-Rooter being called. He claimed that the water heater was overheating and tripping the safety switch. I have done manual resets a couple of times and knew what he was referring to. However, he turned the thermostat down (which is also something I, as the homeowner, am capable of doing) and reset the power and charged us $312. When we addressed the concern of the water heater still not able to maintain hot water for more than 10 minutes, he continued to repeat that the water heater was overheating. Again, the specialist didn’t acknowledge the concerns we gave him, and then charged us $312 to do something he could have just mentioned to me. Oh, and our water heater is still not maintaining heat. This was indeed a waste of money and I regret paying.

Jeff is great and very professional. He explained every thing in detail and advised me on how to ensure clean lines in the shower and sink drains and powder room toilet. He also let me know the fill valve needs to be replaced which I greatly appreciated too!

Recently we had a drain clogging issue out side of my house. We called Roto-Rooters for Drain cleaning service. Technician arrived with in 4 hours and they called every 1 hour and updated us about technician availability. The technician is knowledgeable and he diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes and he told me its very common issue and happens to lot of people. He cleared clogge with in 5 to 10 minutes with a power tool. I am happy with the process but only reason why I am giving 3 star is because of there prices. Its very expensive, I paid $520+ with tax for the 10 minutes of work. For small jobs they should price reasonably to make it affordable for small home owners.

And final surprise statement from technician its cleared as of now but it can clogge again anytime soon ?

Trying to find a plumber on a Sunday became a big challenge. When I finally called Roto-Rooter they offered me an appointment within a couple hours of my call. The plumber was on time and took care of my problem in a timely manner. He was very polite and professional.

Charges over $700 for a dishwasher install??? Also, did not mount the dishwasher and it's slides out when using. Do not advertise that you know how to install a dishwasher and overcharge. I went with you bc I didn't want to keep sending techs out to my tenants house. I wish your company would explain price up front for this prior to entering the premises especially since this is your base cost. I have you coming back out today to have another installer to mount the dishwasher correctly. Please get it right.

I called this business to repair a plugged main drain that I had already diagnosed for them. The first technician arrived around 5:15 pm which was great as I had called within the hour. he had some issue with the toilet and his equipment broke at 50 ft., attempted to repair but left (he was very nice/polite). He offered to clean the excrement from our bathroom using our own towels and mop (is this industry standard?) but left partial remains that I am still cleaning. The second tech arrived around 7:15, said he went to 60 ft, and left around 8:45. He offered me an upgrade to the seal of my toilet for $375. Does not seam right after breaking the seal? While timely, the services were very overpriced at $675 (with a $75 off coupon!) despite the proposed upgrade charges. I would not suggest this company unless you are in a hurry which I was. Too much corporate overhead to compensate for fair service.

Both reps were very professional. Took the time to explain in detail what had occurred. Even provided tips on how to maintain and prevention. Rep was able to snake the drain and open. Appreciated the extra effort taken to snake 2 additional times after clearing to assure immediate issue was cleared. 2nd rep also took camera down the drain and showed me 1st hand what was being seen. Appreciated that transparency. Service was excellent!

I scheduled a backflow preventer check as required by the city. Roto Rooter was on their list of approved vendors. The technician was on time. Very polite. Followed instructions. When he presented me for a bill of over $300, I was surprised but I thought that all of the vendors recommended by the city must be similar. I found out later that some smaller companies will provide the same service for under $100. In addition, I had my own irrigation service checking the system a week later to install a new sprinkler control. He noticed that the backflow preventer was shut off. This is the first time I have had a negative experience with this company.

Muana was outstanding! Very polite and professional. He came out to help me on Easter Sunday and was able to take care of everything I needed in about 2 hours. Made sure everything was cleaned before leaving and walked me through what the issue was and what he did to correct it. Tested multiple times before leaving. Excellent!

The technician was good at his job and courteous. My only issue is with their dispatch service. I had a time a lot selected between 12 -2 pm. It got to 3:10 pm and I had to call to find out where they were. They told me a tech could be out in 45 mins but since we were closing in an hour I opted for the first available the next morning.

Stan was dispatched and arrived within one hour of my call. He was very polite and very knowledgeable and did not waste any time getting the main line unclogged. He did a thorough job after that to check everything in and under my house where he discovered a main line break which had to be addressed.

Although sad for me as insurance doesn't cover the break from normal wear and tear...I was very happy with the service I received from Stan.

Quick and did what they said they would to replace 10 feet of sewer pipe in my yard. It took two guys about 3 hours. I was charged $7,100. I had my back up against the wall with a sewer problem and feel like the company took advantage of me.

They were so late the first two days that I had to cancel. It was waaaaaay to expensive for how much work was done.

Guy was appropriately friendly. Got right to work and very efficiently unclogged my drain. He was in and out of my house in right at 30 minutes. Even with a $75 coupon I got off the internet my charges were over $400. I felt like it was very expensive. I have had other service calls that took longer and were way more involved and took much more expertise for much less.

Roto-Rooter is replacing my neighbor's external sewer line. They decided to dump half of the dug-up dirt on our yard/driveway. They also, without our consent or prior knowledge, inspected our sewer line to see if we had similar issues. They may do great work for their customers, but these actions were totally unprofessional.

I was able to get a same day appointment(actually within hours). They were quick and professional. My repairman, Stan, was fantastic. He was professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he was not giving a company line. Stan was trying to help and give his honest opinion. Stan gave advice on how to help going forward. Instead of trying to push more products and services, he advised how you can do things yourself or if we wanted what he could do to help.

I had a slow draining septic line out to the road. After inspecting the line Stan found that the leak was actually at the road. He called the city and said it was an emergency. they camE out and asked him too PROVE where the back up was. So he removed the toilet for the second time and fished the camera down the line with the radio signal. He proved to them At was not in MY line, but in the road. He waited there for them and then had them agree to fix the problem as well as install a clean out. Stan went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. He spoke to the city one my behalf and knew what he was doing. Hats off to STAN AND ROTO ROUTER!!

Excellent service from the company. Quickly received an appointment with a confirmation call. The repair person called when he arrived. He listened to my explanation/concern. After signing the contract, he went right to work. Once problem resolved he explained what had happened and what he did to repair. He even drew a picture of the problem. He also cleaned the area that he worked in, putting supplies back under the sink. I will use RotoRooter for next service. Mr. Johnny was awesome!

Had Adolfo and Oscar from Roto-Rooter in Charlotte at my residence earlier today for an emergency plumbing issue and these two young men are fantastic! Came in, introduced themselves, both dressed in clean pressed uniforms and got right to work. I offered them food and drink but they worked non stop for over five hours. When they finished up, Adolfo showed me the pipe issue that was causing the problem and already had someone lined up to call me in reference to replacing the problem area. Stan was amazing. We suddenly had issues with water backing up in a ground floor tub just has family arrived for Christmas. Stan was here within an hour of us calling for help. I needed a water shut off valve replaced. They were available the same day. Pricey but he did excellent work and I needed the issue resolved.

Tried to tackle clogged drains in one of our upstairs bathrooms on my own, but was not able to make the fix. Called Roto Rooter who quickly took my call and dispatched a plumber to help me. Stan, the plumber, arrived in the timeframe told to me and quickly determined the cause of my problem. After working the snake through my drain lines from up in the hot attic, the drain lines cleared and all sinks became fully functional again. After calling 5 other recommended plumbers and no one returning my call with the exception of one who was out of town and could come the next day, I had an emergency on Sunday when my washer drain pipe started filling up after doing a load of laundry and it was gurgling and started to leak down the wall. Luckily it stopped overflowing once the washer stopped but I knew it should not wait until the next day so having prior experience with Rotor Rooter over past years I called and they were out within an hour and had the work completed within an hour. I still have not received a call from the other plumbers and I greatly appreciate their quick response and attention especially over the weekend. They did a great job, no contact service, very clean.

Muana was awesome and very helpful when our water heater had issues. He went over a few options and had the repair done promptly and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use again.

The service was great. I installed a new utility sink and cabinet in my laundry room. The existing pipe was to short and leaking. The repairman diagnosed the issue, provided a quote and then completed the work.

He secured the drain, measured then cut a new longer pipe and then installed it. He also secured the faucet.

The leak is gone and the sink and faucet are working as expected.

I would definitely recommend ROTO-Rooter plumbing and water clean up. I called them, explained my issue and they had someone out within an hour. The estimate was fair and the repair guy was very professional.

The repair man arrived very quickly. The job was much more involved than originally anticipated. He did a fantastic job and we appreciate him getting a shower draining again!

We had an emergency plumbing issue and Roto-Rooter sent out a team that took care of clean-up, fixing the failed pipes inside the house and corrected the problem outside so we would not find ourselves in this situation again. Sena our plumber(tech #3355) was incredible!! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of service in the Charlotte NC area. He removed close to 70 feet of cast iron pipe in a 2' crawl space and replaced it with PVC. The job took 3 days but he strategically made sure we had some working areas throughout the project.

We had a major sewage back up in both of our public restrooms which caused us to have to close our business until it could be resolved. After attempting to snake without any luck a technician named Adonis came next and after surveying the situation explained our options using a hydro technique. He explained the advantages and risk involved. It was Adonis professionalism and confidence that reassured us that this was our best option to take despite the risk. Needless to say our clog is cleared with no damage and we have resumed business as usual.

Adonis cleared our underground corrugated pipes. He was professional. The cost for the service is based on time yet he worked hard and quickly while also being thorough. I had a visit a few days ago after having a clogged drain needing an auger. Roto-Rooter arrived and got it unclogged and I was able to continue to use the sinks and showers in the house. The visit was not cheap, but worth their 6 month guarantee. A few days later same issue and folks came by and inspected kitchen sink as well as garage where it was overflowing. It's been unclogged and drained and I'm glad they have a service guarantee.

We contacted Roto-Rooter to get an estimate on a cracked waste pipe in our crawl space. They sent a tech who arrived within the two hours and was very nice and professional. He was able to assess the situation quickly and arranged for an Excavation Specialist to come out as it turned out to be a bigger job than we expected. Richard Benante was very nice and did a thorough inspection of the problem. He was able to clearly explain the problem to me and gave me an estimate which was lower than what another company had quoted. I would highly recommend using Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs.

Van has been to my house twice now to fix two seperate plumbing issues. He is always do professional and helpful. I am grateful for all of his hard work today and that I will be able to use my kitchen sink tonight!

Johnny was very professional and kind. He unclogged my toilet for the usual fee (which was a little expensive, but worth it) and also voluntarily offered to adjust the water level level for me, which was set by my apartment complex and was the root cause of the issue. I highly recommend Roto-Router and Johnny, in particular.

Adolfo was my service representative. He was on time and very very knowledgeable about drain clogs. I have two story home with a basement and it was not clear where the drain stoppage was located. The downstairs sink had a backflow of water even though we didn’t use it and the stoppage was coming upstairs. Adolfo took his time and worked thru the problem without guessing but using his technical experience to locate the clog and use the auger to unclogged. I was very satisfied with Adolfo and will use roto rooter again only because of his expertise. I have used several plumbers before in this home in 19 years here, however none has been as professional and efficient as roto rooter.

The technician arrived a couple hours late, but that was due to shortage of plumbers. When Stan got here, he was very courteous and informative. Would recommend.
