We had our water heater fail and needed to get it replaced. We called for a quote and got a dispatcher that was not able to give us any pricing but said that the plumber would call when he was on his way and would be able to discuss pricing. When the plumber called, he told me that a replacement 40 gallon gas water heater would cost $2,329.00 for just the heater and installation was in additional. To say I was surprised would be an understatement as I can buy a 40 gallon gas water heater at Home Depot or Lowes for less than $600.00. I have no issue with a company making a fair profit, but a markup of almost 400% is beyond egregious and is far above other quotes that I received. This company is simply taking advantage of their customers and I will never call them again.

Tyler showed up on time and was very professional. He explained everything that was wrong with my dishwasher drainage problem in detail. He provided options to fix a pressure issue that I didn't even know existed which will save me money in the long run. The whole experience was great. I was referred to All About the Pipes by dozens of local families on a community facebook page and could not have been more pleased. They were prompt in coming out, quickly diagnosed a problem we had experienced for 2 years (and previous plumbers missed), and fixed the issue. Our technician even went above and beyond putting in a safety strap on part of the water heater where one was previously missing just because he noticed it wasn't there. Will absolutely be a repeat customer and happily refer others in the future.
