Our well quit working at a very inconvenient time - I was in the middle of showering! After googling a few places and leaving messages and getting no responses, a neighbor suggested Ritchie Plumbing so I gave him a call. He answered my call and was able to get to my house within a few hours. The job turned out to be more work than expected, but he had everything he needed and was able to complete the job very quickly. He is also a super nice, very professional guy! He was very patient and knowledgeable. We are pleased with the work he did and will definitely use him again if the need arises. We highly recommend Ritchie Plumbing!!!!

We came across an issue with our kitchen sink drain line when we were remodeling our kitchen. We had met with two previous plumbers, one of which said they would be able to fix the issue but didn't, before we found Ritchie's Plumbing. Not only was John able to fix this plumbing issue at a reasonable price but he came back and did additional work for us a few weeks later. John is trustworthy, a hard worker and goes above and beyond. If I ever need any plumbing work in the future, I won't hesitate to reach out to John.

I had a fantastic experience with Ritchie Plumbing. He was able to see me very quickly, took on a challenging job and made me feel at ease and was able to get the problem fixed and the one that contributed to it fixed within a few hours. He made a day that started pretty rough end on a good note and I will definitely be using him again for any future needs!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. Ritchie plumbing is definitely a 5 star business. Jon has done several plumbing projects for us over the past year and installed a gas line for a cooktop range. He responds quickly, has fair pricing, and does excellent work. Give them a call!

If you are looking for a quality, trustworthy, and affordable plumber, then look no further! Ritchie plumbing are rockstars. We had our hot water heater give out a couple days before Christmas, impeccable timing. John (the plumber) came out on Christmas Eve night and stayed for hours fixing the problem. That alone was above and beyond, but his service could not have been better! I highly recommend working with John and Ritchie plumbing for all you plumbing needs!

Mr. Ritchie was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He arrived promptly and answered all of our questions. We are new homeowners and he gave us a full explanation on our needed plumbing service in such a kind way. Great plumber! Definitely will call again if need!

Can't say enough good things about John Ritchie and his plumbing services. I have been nothing but PLEASED with them from START to FINISH since working with them in the past week.
Our home had original cast iron sewer pipes that had aged and finally began leaking in our basement. We tried for 4 weeks to call well established plumbers in the local area to come out for an estimate...and would only be told that everyone was booked for weeks...that is if they even bothered to return our calls.
After continuing to research, I found Ritchie Plumbing...saw the great reviews he already had...and took my shot. My call was answered immediately, and they came out to do a quote that same day...Free of charge, since we lived in the local Stvl area.
After they left, I already knew that I TRUSTED them to do the work....even before getting the quote....which they already had done up for me by the end of the day. And the pricing was so reasonable, for the work that had to be done!!.
I'm HAPPY to say that a week later....my pipes have been replaced. The job was done within a day....I had a little to zero clean up to do after they left...and the service was so PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS. I have HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this company to my friends who are looking to have plumbing work done....and I will only use Ritchie Plumbing in the future. I suggest anyone that reads this review do the same, if you want complete satisfactory work for your home!

Ritchie Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing our outside spigot that had burst due to freezing. They were professional, courteous, on time, and their prices were reasonable. John did an excellent job explaining our options and pricing up front. John did an excellent job replacing the water cut off valve and supply line on my toilet.I wanted to get my repairs done today and he was able to fit me in after finishing his current job. He texted to let me know when he would arrive. John is very kind and friendly. He was easy to talk with and respectful of my house. He did a great job explaining what needed to be done,letting me know it should take and keeping it affordable. I greatly appreciated his help today. John is very respect, very punctual, and most importantly a very knowledgeable young man! Been a great friend for over 15 years and when another friend of mine had no water he replaced his well pump and my friend had water within a few hours of Ritchie Plumbing being contacted! Don't look any further just let him do it right the first time!

The experience with Ritchie Plumbing was the better than ever expected. Johnnie was very professional and dedicated to doing the job right. The end result was a professional well finished job. His crew he brought with him was all great and very polite. Not to mention everyone there has served in our military and that is a pleasure in its self.

I was very pleased and highly recommend Ritchie Plumbing. John was very professional, personable and priced right. He accessed the issue and throughly explained to me what had occured and actions needed to fix it. What set him apart from most is that he took the time to
reattach my toilet seat and to tighten my jiggling faucet. He was only there for a water leak.

John is not only super friendly, but super honest, and willing to work with you on anything related to plumbing. We had an issue with one of our fittings he had worked on, he came back out late and night, fixed it, and didn't charge us one penny.

Previously, John has worked on our drain lines, installed a backflow valve, and re-did the valves for our bathroom showers. All quality work done for a great price.

Hire this guy, he's amazing, I wish there were more contractors like him.

Ritchie Plumbing was great when they came out and fixed up our kitchen. John and Jim were very professional and reliable. The problem was diagnosed quickly and they had all the materials and equipment they needed to have it all fixed up right away. The rates were very fair as well!

Additionally, the associate that manages the phone and office was very personable. It's becoming rare to call a business and get a real person these days. It is easy to recommend this plumbing company to others.

I called Ritchie Plumbing to ask if they were able to fix a sink that dropped below the granite countertop. I was told by John, that they were busy right now but would try to fit me in the next day. He also stated he would call me back in a few hours once he, figured out his schedule. He verified my phone number and I waited until I would hear back from him. This was around 1:30 pm. Around 8 pm, I texted John asking if they would be able to assist us or if I should find someone else. Let's just say, I'm still waiting for him to call and/or text back. He also stated it would be around $500 which I agreed upon at the time. I would like to say, if this was something this company doesn't fix, then say it at the time. Instead, he decided to lie and keep me from getting something fixed. Not only did his lack of professionalism destroy any confidence in this company that I had obtained through these Google reviews, but I won't ever use them, nor will I ever recommend them to my fellow Realtors. If I was pleased with the results, I was going to use their services for a few other homes my company had purchased to ensure the plumbing was in stellar condition before listing the new homes we aquired. That's not going to happen now. I would not recommend this company due to lack of professionalism. Not only was I left waiting without even the common curtosey of a text back, but this pushed my selling process back, which has now cost me even more money than tha $500 he quoted me.

Now I'm so glad I did not use your services. Nothing you said below is true. You never mentioned once you were in NC, nor did you mention you weren't licensed in SC. All you said was, I'll check my schedule and get back to you in a few hours. It was a nice conversation and I fully expected you to call back. You seemed as if you would help us, but left us hanging. You must have me confused with someone else, because you never said any of that at all. As for the text. If the number you answered the phone on was a cell phone, then you have the text. You may forget my phone saves that sort of stuff.

All you had to do was tell me you weren't licensed in SC, and we would have been done. Neither am I dense or hard of hearing. You never said any of that. Good Day.

Ritchie came out to my home to fix a leaking water main line.. He did an excellent job.. Explained all the work that he done and his price was $500 cheaper than other plumbers. Ill definitely use him again! He showed up on time as well!

I’m very happy with the work that was completed for us. John is a super nice guy and the price for everything we had done was incredible. He was very prompt and did an amazing job getting our water heater up to code that the gas company did not take the time to do on our last water heater. John is awesome! I am working on buying my first home and wanted to have the plumbing checked out. I saw some of neighbors had recommended him via our neighborhood posting wall, so I gave him a call. He came out same day and patiently checked out everything I asked for! He went above and beyond also - checking some things I didn’t even think to look for. John Ritchie was the only plumber who was able to fix our gas leak at the Quality Inn & Suites Rock Hill. After calling numerous other large national companies, Mr. Ritchie was the only one who came out and was able to fix it. I would definitely recommend his services for both residential and commercial services. He does exceptional work at reasonable prices.

Can't even put into words how awesome John is! He was friendly and focused on getting the job done in a decent amount of time. John Ritchie did a great job of adding a second water faucet to my house. The job only took about an hour and the price was much better than what I would be quoted by one of the larger plumbing companies. I will definitely be using him in the future.

Contacted John on a Sunday about a really bad leak coming from our master bathroom into our garage. He came out first thing Monday morning. He came in assessed the leak and within 10 mins found the issue and had everything readily available to do the repair. He even notice that we had no drain cap in our front yard and took care of that as well! Super friendly, down to earth and professional. We didn't have a plumber before today but he's definitely our go to plumber moving forward! Do not hesitate to call him

John installed a recirculating pump on my tankless system. Now instead of waiting 2 minutes for hot water it’s there in 2 seconds. Life changing! John is reliable and dependable. I will definitely keep his number.

John and his colleague Brandon helped us to replace gas water heater couple days ago. They spent 5 hrs straight on the project and we got hot water back at the end of the day. Quality work at an affordable price.....John's quote was much lower than other contractors that we checked but his quality work was no less, if not better.

My breaker kept tripping every time my water was on for 5 minutes (sometimes a little bit longer) I was convinced it was my well, which is a MAJOR expense. I called John at 6:30a.m. and he was at my house by 7:30a.m.

After John did some diagnostics, come to find out it was my water tank, which is significantly cheaper to replace than a well. He quoted me a price that was at least $100 cheaper than the next guy.

To say the least, I would recommend him to anyone. He is trustworthy, HONEST, affordable, and knows what he is doing. I was very pleased with the work. Haven't had a problem since!

John and Brandon were both super friendly while efficiently doing what had to be done. They came to fix what I thought was a clog in a drain to a sink. Turned out to be a clog in a more major line which required substantial more time to clear. They happily stayed until they made sure everything was working correctly. Arrived when expected, cost reasonable and very competitive. Will gladly recommend them!!
