We had another company come out the day before and it was more of a sales call. They attempted to sell us on a service plane that would allegedly save us money. They had a Standard Rate and then a Value Rate if you purchased their service plan. It was very expensive and I felt there was an attempt to take advantage of us on the price. I declined their service and paid the service fee.I called George Plumbing after the other plumbers left. The lady who answered the phone at George Plumbing was very friendly and scheduled us for the next day. Kody and Josh arrived from George Plumbing. They were kind and professional. They did not try to sell us on anything and advised of the price and completed the job in a timely manner. Kody told us the price the other company quoted should never have been quoted for the job we needed done.I recommend George Plumbing and feel they way they treated us on our simple faucet leak was definitely fair and we will be using them again if needed.Thank you George Plumbing for being honest and not attempting to rip us off like the other company.

#1 Plumber Service of San Antonio. Not only were they professional but I called with an emergency and they came out that very same day. I was given a very reasonable and affordable quote (price range) up front and it wasn’t out of this world like other plumbing companies. I will definitely use and refer American Auger Plumbing in the future!

This was our bathroom sink that the A/C drain pipe is connected to. The guys were accommodating with masks as we recently dealt with a breakthrough Covid case last month and have been more careful since. They were also professional, quick and thorough by making sure the A/C drain line was working as it should after fixing the clogged sink drain. They took the time to take a look at some gas related work I’m thinking about getting done and provided a quote on the work.

Have used this business before and have had good & regular experiences, but this time it was the last time as it was the worst. Called them they indicated it will be $39.00 fee to have the tech come over and provide estimate. Tech showed up, and proceeded to let me know it will be $150.00 to open the wall and be able to provide an estimate. I was surprise as I have never been told of such high fee for just cutting the drywall to see what was going on and provide an estimate. As this was a rental and I wanted to proceed to solve the issue, I reluctantly agreed to proceed. After he open cut the drywall and sent me the picture of the leak and estimate for ~837.00. At that point I was 100% sure this was a rip off, and proceeded to reject the estimated and indicated him to stop working on it immediately. Called another contractor, and solved the problem for less than $200.00. Will not call Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Antonio again.

If you like to be gouged because you don't know plumbing, this is your place. While I was out of town working, my neighbor noticed water seeping from our water main. He notified my wife and both agreed that it was the PRV (Pressure Regulating Valve) which was the same issue my neighbor had a few months prior. I had planned on personally changing it myself as a preventative measure but never found the time with how busy work has been. Being that my wife was unable to immediately get a hold of me, she decided to go with our neighbor’s recommendation. She doesn't have time to wait with a baby and guests at home. She called All Pro Texas on a Tuesday evening at about 6pm. I soon found out about the situation and immediately reached out to All Pro Texas to get better understanding of what was to be charged as I already knew how they pulled the wool over my neighbor’s eyes. They said they would have the technician call me after he diagnosed the issue. Instead, I only received information about one option; $697 +$89 for the after-hours visit via my wife's speaker phone. This is not what I instructed the technician to do. Being that I was driving I text my wife to work on reducing the price of the installation however, I wanted them to install the better valve (Bronze vs cast or pvc). They then did the work. After completion of the work (which took all of 1hr and 15min per my cameras) my wife was too embarrassed to even let me know what the final total was and refused to tell me.The next morning comes and I decide to call APT to discuss their price gouging. I get transferred to the manager (Jesse). I ask Jesse for a line item list of products sold to us and services performed to explain their pricing. He said that they didn't have one but that they could work on something as they do PRVs as a Package. (What does that even mean???) I then asked what the actual total of their visit costed us. For the Package your wife chose, it was $1135. WHAT?!? So you're telling me you charged $900 labor to change a $150 part that took an hour and 15? Jesse responded, well yes that is the package your wife signed on. So I ask: How do you sleep at night? Is it alright to charge that kind of price to people? That's outright ridiculous! He responded with, well your neighbor was there and he paid the same. I said, Yeah and neither him nor my wife know anything at all about plumbing. That doesn't make it alright to take advantage of people. He then said, well I don't know what I can do for you. I then said, you can start by refunding me part of my payment, at least back to the only option I heard, which is $697+89 fee. Even then that wouldn't be fair but it’s moving in the right direction. He refused to do so and I told him to have a wonderful day.Once I arrived home, I found that the PRV covering is sticking out 8 inches above the surrounding covers, decorated with several large rocks and a water bottle. I can’t even say that the work performed was satisfactory. So here I am writing my first review ever.For those of you that don't know plumbing, residential PRVs range $40-200 depending on size and quality. The 3/4 Watts PRV that was installed is $129 at any Home Depot or Lowes. 1-3 hrs of labor depending.APT is Home Advisor accredited and even they claim PRV replacement should cost between $250-350. Don't let yourself become a statistic, make yourself knowledgeable.

They are and will always be my go-to company for challenging or major plumbing repairs because they are highly knowledgeable, capable, courteous, and do excellent work with quality parts.

i paid 4m to fix leak, now almost a month later,leak reappeared. called and they said they would send plumber at 3pm, it's already 4pm and no one showed, no answer, no response to texts, and no follow up. totally unacceptable will not deal with again!!! water still leaking! totally unreliable and waste of money. stay away from 4M, you've been warned.

As a first time home owner, I was having an issue with the water heater & a constant leak so naturally I was pretty worried that the leak was filling up a bucket enough for me to constantly empty out the bucket. My home warranty company that issued the original plumbing company was not taking the urgency into consideration since I had to do the follow-ups and also that they were No-Shows on both appointments they scheduled. I called Gill Plumbing Services and it was an immediate response and same day visit with in 20 min to half an hour!! The problem was temporarily fixed since it was later in the day near closing hours. Gill Plumbing said they can do a complete installation with the proper sized water heater and bring it all up to code. The problem was immediately repaired the following morning at 9am as he said he would. My experience was beyond my expectations and the customer service was outstanding!! It’s rare to find good reputable companies that care about what they do, are knowledgeable, have great customer service & do quality work. I am thankful for the work done on my home & I will use Gill Plumbing for all my future needs for my new home. The gentleman were very professional from beginning to end. I've used Big City Plumbing multiple times, since 2012. Twice within the last several months for two unrelated issues. They have never tried to upsell or make any unnecessary suggestions. They consistently come through and save the day. Plumbing issues can be scary as hell- so thank you!

Called J.C. Enriquez Plumbing to come out and replace a toilet and had it scheduled for Sunday Morning. Sunday came with an early morning rainstorm so they canceled stating flash floods in the area. Rescheduled for the following Saturday morning expecting things to be done as agreed. Saturday morning came which resulted in a no show and no call. I called them at the end of the scheduled 4 hour window and was greeted with a voice mailbox that was full. Unprofessional. I wasted time thinking this mom and pop business was legit. I will not be making that mistake again.
