Best Repair/Replace in San Antonio TX

Shawn from George Plumbing has been helping us with plumbing issues large and small for almost a year now. He has been incredibly helpful in all that time-- enough that I request him. Today, Shawn and Nick came out to address a clogged drain. George Plumbing is not the cheapest-- and there is a good reason for it. They retain their journeymen plumbers over most of their careers. Shawn is one of them, and it shows when addressing plumbing issues. He was thoughtful enough today to not only fix the issue but to make some very helpful long term recommendations. While they were here, the noticed an issue with one of the toilet installs they did and took care of that right away! I highly recommend all three George Plumbing, Shawn and Nick!

After using React-Fast Plumbing to install a water heater and he did a couple pf cleanouts, I called Jerry, the owner and the only one that works at React-Fast, and he came out, after seeing my huge water bill and seeing my meter running like crazy, and told me, with NO evidence of a leak anywhere, that he was going to charge me almost $600. to FIND the leak, whether it took one hour or all day, THEN he was going to start tearing out my walls in the house. Again, no dampness or water dripping or anything in the yard or around the meter. I questioned why he thought it necessary to tear out walls, and he could not explain. I called the next morning and cancelled on him, and started calling people I trust and they recommended Bluefrog and said y'all are endorsed by Dave Ramsey, so that was good enough for me. Your employee/plumber Cory Bentley was extremely professional and went straight to the toilets and told me they needed new parts inside. They are fairly newish and again installed by a dishonest contractor many months back. After getting my handyman to go get new parts and install, my meter is not running when there is no water running. Cory tested by turning off the water at the toilets and the meter stopped; so WOW, I will never use anyone but Bullfrog again. I have given out 6 cards to people I know. Thank you so much. I am a widow and just feel I was seen as someone to rip off. I'm also a private investigator, licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and work for several attorneys and judges. No dummy here, but cannot stand dishonest people, especially in business. I feel so sorry for some women that depend totally on what anyone tells them, and I know several. Thank you again.

They came and quickly diagnosed the problem and in a couple of hours they had replaced my water heater. It was no fuss and efficient.

My water softener broke and the carbon and resin clogged my water lines to the house. Mitchdiagnosed the problem and was determined to get the job done! Other companies were called but he was the only one willing to understand my financial situation and did all he could to meet my financial needs. Not only did he get the job done but also saved me money! He is understanding and is willing to help out in anyway. Highly recommended!

Just like the song...Simply the BEST, BETTER than ALL the rest! Initially we had scheduled service with another company who was not honest with us about installing AC on the same day we scheduled to meet with them. So we called Will's All Pro and they were fast, friendly, accommodating, HONEST, with service on same day, last minute. I was very happy! They wanted our service, they valued us as customers. I have not had such great customer service from any company in a long time. They proved to me that they want our business and they truly care about the customer. We have used Rockstar Plumbing or 4 projects and have referred them to friends as well. They are quick to respond, normally great availability, on time and professional. Chris and Gilbert have helped us today and with one other project.

I have dealt with this company for several years always excellent work, and Mr. Austin Cantu was no exception, fixed my garbage disposal almost immediately working like a charm like when it was first installed several years ago.

Plumber was on time and did a really good job, price was alil bit high but it was good quality work. Will call them in the future

Tsanko is awesome. He quickly responded to my voicemail and arrived within an hour to assess my issue. Repair was completed in about 1.25 hours to include parts run. Very professional. I will definitely call BG Plumbing again.

The guy that came on the original work order did not fix the problem, and led me on to believe it was repaired and draining fine. It was not repaired. Earnest came on the second visit and fixed the clogged drain effectively and professionally. I wish Earnest was the tech that came out originally!

I just wanted you to tell me where my slab leak was - not flood my laundry room and office.

Ryan is my super plumber ;)! Very diligent . meticulous. honest, and patient and gets to the bottom of the problem;)! Somehow a chicken wire mesh that was placed in the plumbing vent from the top , from the roof area, and somehow it dropped into the pipe and caused water logging and backed up of water in my toilets and bathtubs. I had a plumber to help me solve the problem temporarily but the drain got clogged again. Then I called another plumber , a licensed plumber, who told me that I had a slab leak and very costly to fix that, and showed me the photo with a broken pipe. But when I called Ryan, he checked with his camera and showed me that there was no broken pipe but a chicken wire mesh stuck in the pipe that dropped from the top of the plumbing vent, and he did all and ways and means to slowly push the chicken wire mesh out n pulled it out of the clean out. I had used the other 2 plumber for a few times , but Ryan got it all and really got to the root of the problem! I highly recommend anyone to use Ryan, because he is the real deal and the pro;)!!

fast, clean, and affordable!

Big City Plumbing totally came to the rescue for my family. After a full year of dealing with several plumbing companies, we finally found one we can count on. We bought a very old home and with that comes issues here and there. Most of the time when we had other plumbing companies come by to service our home it felt like saving me money was not their priority. They felt like salesman more than service technicians.A friend of ours recommended Big City, which is how you hear about them because they don't spend a bunch of money on advertising. My wife was immediately impressed with the professionalism of Travis (owner). He was able to get James over to our home the next morning. As soon as I met James I could tell right away that he loves his job and he enjoys helping people. He accessed the situation and got the job done no problem - all while keeping us laughing with his great sense of humor.When he told us the price of the job we were amazed. The job would only cost us an amazingly fair price. This is after we had some other plumbing company come by and THE OWNER came into our house - heard what we had to say, somehow knew exactly what the problem was, somehow knew he would have to excavate, and somehow came up with a $6,000 estimate!!! I know, insane. Big City Plumbing is the REAL DEAL, and if you go anywhere else, good luck.

2 employees showed up, used my tools to cut pipe, which I had already cut the dry wall, spend 20 minutes to cap pipe and charged $403. This was during the freeze. Talk about price gouging!!!!!! Do not recommend then and will not use then in the future
