Best Drain Installation in San Antonio TX

I've used George's Plumbing several times over the past few years in San Antonio. At this point I ask for Dan and Austin by name because I've had such good experiences. I always walk away with a bit of knowledge and lessons learned - and of course resolution to my plumbing issue!Dan is a professional with plenty of experience. He has seen it all, and most importantly he respects his time and mine. I highly recommend this team.

I called them this morning for a free estimate and then we went ahead got it fixed because they gave us a good price and even got a senior discount they did fast im so happy with the service I am going to use them again.

My husband and I have used 1st Call for three services within the last year. The first service was the replacement of the pressure relief valve near our main water shut off valve. I called them and they arrived within a few hours. Repairs were completed and our water was back on in less than two hours. The second service was this summer when both of our AC’s were in their last string. We had two new systems put in. Couldn’t be happier. Today, they came and changed out a cassette in our master shower faucet. Our shower would continue to run, even with the faucet turned completely off. Apparently, it was a specialty item that was needed to make the repair. They went to a parts store; picked it up and changed it in less than an hour. Our water was back on in no time. All of the parts and service are covered under a one year warranty. You get what you pay for and my husband and I will continue to call 1st call for all of our major plumbing, AC and/or electrical needs. Thank you to Chris W for helping us with our AC’s and Eric G who helped with our shower!UPDATE March 2023- To add to the initial, we are once again satisfied with 1st Call! Due to hard water and high pressure coming from the city to our main waterline, the pressure release valve went bad and we needed a new one. They also inspected the water heater for me and found out that the water heater was older than they were ?. I asked them to see if I could get a deal if we did the PRV and the heater at the same time. We worked it out and they got the two jobs done in less than three hours! Our pipes no longer bang in our walls, our water pressure is wonderful and the hot water gets hot a lot faster! So thankful I stuck with 1st Call once again!!! Justin and Nathan took good care of us. They were prompt, professional and patient with us. They’re fast workers and we’re very thorough with us from start to finish. She explained their findings and what needed to be fixed. They left our yard looking good as new and left the area around our water heater, nice and clean. Thank you two for your hard work!UPDATE May 2023- Marco was an awesome technician! We was prompt to our AC service appointment. He did a thorough inspection, cleaned out the pans, checked out the outside units and even found a part of the newly installed AC that needed to be reinforced. He made the repairs and we are good to go for another 6 months or so. I highly recommend utilizing this company for all your electrical, plumbing and HVAC needs. Thank you Marco! Great customer interaction with Tino and his helper. Same day service from quote and cost was reasonable for the job. Tub/shower conversion to a stand-up shower. Done within half day. Left the area clean and free of cement dust from excavating the shower floor to move the drain to the center. I did notice after Tino left that there was cement all over the top of the PCV drain fixture that comes apart for the waterproof membrane to seat. He assured me it was no problem, but my tiler disagreed. I noticed after plumber left that the drain seemed to be set a bit too low and was not entirely level. Called my tiler who came over immediately after I sent a photo of the drain installation and he dug it out from the still wet cement and raised it somewhat higher and leveled it. This type of plumbing really needs to be done in tandem with the person doing the tile work because every contractor does things a little differently. Great experience though with Ajax and I recommend them highly.

Same day service. I was quoted a price over the phone. After the technical arrived he said there was no need to replace everything in the toilet tank. Therefore I paid about 1/4 of the price I was expecting to pay.

I just want to say THANK YOU to John C of Will's All pro plumbing and AC. he came out today and help me to understand more about my water softener. I agreed to replace it with a new one costly but well worth the cost of the unit and piece of mind about my appliances. John you are a superior technician in your business your Company should be proud to have such a technician of your caliber and knowledge working for them. Julian and his apprentice were very thorough and professional with my tankless water heater service. They explained before hand what they would be doing and then followed up with photos detailing the outcome.

From my initial appointment to the completion of work this company was “by far” my best plumbing experience thus far. Joe was my service advisor and was he heaven sent, true professional and explained every detail so I could understand plumbers lingo, he truly saved the day! Btw: pricing was the lowest of 4 comparable companies! Trust on this one, this is your complete any!!!

Fernando with Ambition Plumbing has been a life saver more than once. They are always willing to come out and they come out morning, noon, night and weekends. His prices are way more than fair to say the least. I know that in this plumbing company I have found a plumber for life. I cannot describe in words how lucky you may be to find a plumber like this! 5 stars all day!!!!

I needed plumbing repair on my new tub which was not holding water as well as my water heater. A & M Plumbing was assigned to my service request through American Home Shield and was not able to repair either item. I was subsequently told by Marc the technician that I would need to pay $1,200 for a new regulator due to water pressure. In addition, I was told that I needed some kind of part to keep the drain from draining once closed when filling the tub.I went back and forth with A & M Plumbing multiple times and requested that they submit the work order to American Home Shield correctly identifying the problem so that these parts and a new water heater would be covered since this one is 19 years old. Now, not only did they not fix the problem but there is also a leak that was somehow created under the tub within the exposed PVC with water now trickling out between the tub and wall. So, now not only is the water heater not working correctly and the tub not holding water, but now I also have a leak from PVC pipe that was created by the technician when they were here. I don't know who is worse; A & M Plumbing or American Home Shield.

Ryan was phenomenal. Great personality and thorough in his explanation and work. I called Shaefer and Maulding's plumbing but they never responded. Christianson's was $300 overprice. Thank you Caliente Plumbing for replacing my water heater!
