Our kitchen sink had been backing up for the past couple of weeks, draining slowly but not fast enough. Called one plumber out from a different company who tried clearing the drain and air vent to no prevail.

It is nice to have a go-to plumber I can trust. My 12-year old water heater was leaking and causing the pedestal it was on to collapse. Wyman Plumbing recommended a handyman and coordinated with them to remove the tank, rebuild the pedestal, and install the new 75-gallon heater... all in one morning. They were patient with all my questions (I ask a lot) and gave guidance on the best water heater for my situation. Scammers, don’t do the monthly maintenance fee 11 dollars month they will never come out and they will lie and say they cancelled the subscription and keep charging you and when you call a customer service representative their computers are never working. Nothing wrong with the service men or people working there just the company is a scam. Beware. So they cancelled and reinstated me on their own.

Jim at Rooter Hero gave me a ridiculous estimate of $1385.50 to install a water heater I purchased myself. He broke down this estimate as follows $518.84 for TWO 3/4th inch flex lines and then $866.66 to actual install the water heater.



I got another estimate from a licensed- insured-bonded plumbing company. Their estimate to do the exact same job was 317.00 including the parts.
