Replaced under warranty an AO Smith water heater that was only 3 years old.Working with Brewer and Ben Franklin Plumbing on the warranty claim and setting up an appointment, which was a same day appointment was surprisingly painless! Amazing for that to happen these days!The tech, Preston, was an amazing representative for Ben Franklin Plumbing! He was very personable and likable, helpful answering my many questions, very courteous and a very good plumber! I would request Preston by name if we ever need Brewer in the future.Thanks Ben Franklin

First, I want to thank Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for being willing to give a ballpark quote for work we knew we needed done, over the phone. A competitor was not so forth coming with such a thing, and also wanted to charge $40 just to come out and give a quote.We knew we needed our main water shutoff valve, as well as at least two inside the house replaced, and presumed most of the rest inside the house would also need to be replaced (only three in 22 years had been done prior). Jacob (Jake) came out and after a walk through, we determined that all but two were of immediate need - most we couldn't turn at all, and if we could, they either didn't shut the water off completely, or leaked after being turned.Originally the visit was to just be for a quote, but he was able to get the rest of his schedule cleared so he could spend a few hours working on the replacements, starting with the main, and then proceeding with the rest. In all, we had the main ball valve, seven sink and two toilet shutoff valves replaced, and the one for the refrigerator (water/ice). Fortunately all of the work went smoothly, and who knew that shutoff valves weren't supposed to be so difficult to turn! Ha!Anyway - for the record, the 'ballpark' estimate over the phone was pretty spot-on for the range that was given. While no plumbing service is likely to ever be super cheap, I don't think I would want the cheapest anyway - quality will always win for me.Thank you, Jake!

I think they did a good job, was expensive 409 dollars they could of made it more uniform look, now I have one line smaller and one line larger. Nice Copper lines instead of galvanized nipple and steel flex lines on my tankless water heater, they didn't tell me if there was warranty on the work. All in all I feel better now knowing that I will not have to worry about any leaks. Thanks Ben Franklin Plumbing.

Cisco arrived at our home to repair our leaking water heater unit. He took the time to explain what he would be doing during the replacement. In addition, he patiently explained to use the current regulations for water heaters and that he would be attaching a water safety tank to our new unit and what it was for.Cisco was extremely professional and did a great job of replacing our unit and restoring hot water back into our home.This is the second time we’ve used Ben Franklin to service our water heater and we have not been disappointed.

Plumbing Specialist Jesus Beltran came to our house to repair a broken pipe to the toilet. He was excellent! He explained everything he was doing and was very professional. I requested his card so I can have him do all our plumbing projects. This is an honest company that you can trust! Five stars!

When our water heater went out, they came quickly, removed the old one, installed a new one, and set up a point of contact with a company to come out and assess/dry the water damage to our drywall. Everyone we interacted with eas friendly, professional, and competent. We had a great experience.

This company is running a racket. The plumber purposefully used a snake and not the hydrogetting the first time. They charged and exorbitant amount of $275 and then after that only worked for 2 months, it clogged again. Now, the rude woman Rachelle who answers the phones would not give me a cost range for the hydrogetting. Do you know what that means? Rip off artist. Then she finally got the manager to say that they would apply the $275 that I paid 8 weeks ago to the hydrogetting procedure which is $700-$1000. The problem is that all other companies estimate $250-$650 online for hydrogetting. So, they are the typical scam artists who jack the price up and then offer a discount to make you think you are getting a good deal. My argument is that the plumber should have had enough experience and judgment to know to first do the hydrojetting in the first place. All of the positive reviews of 1500+ are OBVIOUSLY paid for. Do yourself a favor and find an ethical company or small ma-pop operation. This people are thieves!

Today, Jesus repaired a leaky toilet, a slow-to-fill toilet and lowered a shower head within a couple of hours, leaving everything working and looking great. No reason to look elsewhere. BF Plumbing does the job well and at a reasonable price.I received a call from the dispatcher alerting me the technician would arrive within 15 minutes (within the 4-hour window I was scheduled). James Estes explained the work to be done and what the charges would be. He then installed a replacement diverter in my guest shower then replaced the old shower head with a new unit I had purchased. The old diverter had rusted in place and Mr. Estes was able to remove it with any damage to my tile or the pipes. After making sure the new system worked and shined like new, I paid the bill with my credit card and he told me to call if there were any problems or concern. I’ve been using Ben Franklin Plumbers for years and Mr. Estes provided over and above the quality service I had come to expect. Outstanding work!

I was referred to this company through my home builder. I am so grateful for the quick and thoughtful service we received from James Estes. We discovered a water line along the baseboards of our water closet and suspected we had a toilet leak. James was very thorough with his inspection and offered his best professional advice. After deciding to replace the wax ring he presented us with photos of the area to reassure that we had made the right decision. Thankfully we caught everything in time. I have Ben Franklin come every year to service my tankless hot water heater. They are wonderful!! I just had Charlie come to service my hot water heater, water softener and reverse osmosis system. He was supposed kind and patient with me when he came as explaining the issues with my hot water heater.

When I setup the service call, I expected to wait at least a week for service. In the world we live in today, everyone is understaffed and no one is readily available. That was NOT my experience. Not only did I get 2 specialists on the same day I reported the issue, but they worked with me on a very tight availability window.James and Mason were fantastic. As you would expect from experts, they immediately knew the issue just based on my description. They had a predefined pricing sheet, and they gave me an estimate for both "worst case" and "best case" scenarios. I really appreciated that transparency so that I knew there would be no surprises when they completed their work.They got to work right away, and even though we were getting late into a Friday (when most people are eager to end their work day and are focused on the weekend), they made pleasant conversation and seemed to be having fun while they did their job. I not only got the impression that they enjoyed the work that they do, but also the company that they do the work for.James left me with his card when he left, and I will certainly request him by name the next time I have a plumbing need. I highly recommend this company!

Benjamin Franklin Plumming tried to sale a hot water heater to 90 year old senior citizen with mild dementia. Extremely high price gouging for the hot water heater. Visit Home Depot and/or Lowe’s. This company should be ashamed of themselves. I’m calling calling our property management.

He then worked with the manufacturer to get a heat exchanger under warranty. We are waiting for the part and repair has not yet been done. Not satisfied with service at all. We were very clear when making our appointment on what brand tankless water heater we have. No fault of the tech who was very professional, but admittedly did not have experience working on our unit. He proceeded to do what he could and $550 later our appliance is still not functioning properly. We feel misled, ripped off and taken advantage of. I have requested a call from their office to discuss the ridiculous charges and the fact that they sent a tech who doesn’t work on our brand of tankless. Very poor of Benjamin Franklin to do this. We have had positive experiences with them in the past, but there must have been a change of ownership or management and we saw that today. Look elsewhere for your tankless needs!!***UPDATE: PLEASE READ***Daryl jumped on the situation right away and was extremely helpful. He understood our frustrations and had already reviewed our service history prior to reaching out to us the next morning (6:30 AM). Daryl assigned our trouble to a more seasoned tech who was trained on our system and he had the issues cleared within an hour of arriving at our home. Benjamin Franklin (Daryl in particular) take customer satisfaction very seriously. The speed at which our complaint was responded to and rectified will not be forgotten. Thank you very much for getting us fixed up and rest assured we will continue to call you for any of our service needs.

I was lucky enough to get James out to repair a couple problems in our bathroom. He was on time, thorough, and quick to resolve the issue. Super pleased with the work and the company, they are always very nice to work with.

My hot water heater wasn't working so I contacted Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to fix it. They had installed it in 2013. The technicians James & Josh were very nice. James told us that our elements weren't working, they were corroded, etc and he replaced both of them and said we'd have hot water in a few hours. Cost $500. When the next day rolled around and we still had no hot water I called again and was told it was an electrical issue and I should call an electrician. I asked why the elements were replaced if it was an electrical problem - I was told I would get a call back with answers to my questions but I never did receive a call.

Service techs are friendly yet professional and take great care of our water heater/tank needs.

Don came ostensibly reattach RO and other connections under the sink. We had had a leak and all of one wall of our kitchen including all the under sink connections were taken down to solve the problem.Don was patient, thorough and repeated explanations as needed. He even went on to do extra work at our request. Very hard to imagine better customer service in any given field than we received.

I had no hot water in my kitchen and bathroom sinks and as a result the dishwasher didn't work either. All of this has been fixed and I will be purchasing an anti-scale system since the water here is so hard. My service person Cisco could not have been better and I appreciated him explaining the process. I'm very happy to have hot water again and I look forward to less sediment in the lines in the future.

WARNING! This company is a scam. I purchased a hot water heater along with an extended 9-year warranty including annual flushes in 2017, unbeknownst to me, the a franchise owner left the company. Flash forward to 2022, I call the number on the company website, they have all of my customer and verify I bought a warranty. However Darrel let me know they cannot honor the warranty because it was purchased through the old franchise owner. I pushed back, and they came out to verify it was in fact a Benjamin Franklin plumbing unit. Unfortunately while at my house, wearing a Benjamin Franklin plumbing shirt Jack told that they still wouldn't honor the remaining years on the warranty. I spoke to David with the parent company who owns the franchise, Authority Brands, who explained that basically that legally they aren't compelled to honor the warranty told me to take it to small claims court. There isn't a better example of horrible customer service. Please don't use this company. They should be ran out of business.

James Estes was professional, and courteous and extremely efficient. He put booties on prior to walking through the house. After evaluating our tub drain, he gave us options, explaining what needed to be done to remove the deteriorated drain pipe. He was able to remove and replace the 20 year old drain pipe with a new one in a timely manor. He tested the new drain, and made sure the area was spotless when done.

My Technician Michael was very helpful in getting the job done and keeping all areas of his job clean. I would recommend Benjamin Franklin to anyone needing plumbing repairs.

I sent a message after hours and they reached out to me this morning. They were fast! Travis was the technician who came to our home. My 5yr old kept bugging him but he was friendly and engaged in the small talk with my kid. Travis explained the issue and what to do to prevent it. He also advised us of the 67 day guarantee. He was professional, efficient, funny? and friendly. The price was competitive compared to other companies I contacted. We are very pleased with the service and our drains are cleared!?

As I listed above - good quality, professional, responsive, and on time. Regarding good value, I'm not really sure since I didn't check any other prices. $900 for 1/2hr of easy work replacing a garbage disposal. Guy was nice but pretty sure I got scammed on that one. Had to follow up for warranty info and they cannot/will not produce an itemized receipt that breaks down product, labor, warranty costs.

She found a repairman who could come between 10 and 2 and they would call before he came.He did come, very pleasant fellow. He could sell me one of three disposers and mentioned the difference. Told me what was wrong and why it probably happened, then installed the one I selected. Great job!!

I had to have my tankless water heater replaced. It was done the same day promised for the same price quoted. Everyone was very polite and professional. While installing my water heater, there was a sudden leak i my water softener and the tech was nice enough to diagnose the problem and stop the leak before it did any damage-at no cost. They always go above and beyond what I expect.

I hired Ben Franklin Plumbing to install a tankless hot water heater and an outdoor hose bib, and they did a fantastic job, answered my questions about the product, and assured me if I needed anything in the future, they’d be a phone call away. Our technician James was on time and gave a quote on replacing our water heater. He did not try to sell more then what we needed. In fact he was able to use some of the older parts we had because they were in great condition and saves us some money. Very honest, fast and cleaner worker.

I worked with Cisco, who was friendly and informative throughout the process of having my tankless water heater descaled. He walked me through what he would do and showed me the process along the way.They are definitely looking to suggest products to you. This part of the visit felt pushy. They also really want to upsell you into an annual subscription for descaling your water unit, which felt weird to put a subscription model around.Further, as Cisco left he dumped the vinegar solution he used to descale our water heater into the street and it left a white residue behind that we had to clean up as he drove off. Careless. Took several washes and scrubbings of the street to get that white residue to come up.

Frank came out the same day we called and was very experienced, respectful and professional. He put me at ease by assuring me he could fix our clog. Jake and Frank came back in just 2 days and were able to make the repairs in a few hours. They were respectful and cleaned up after themselves ? everything is working great!

My project was not a typical installation.Daniel, the plumber that showed up was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.However the company's way of pricing installations really did not coincide with the installation. Thus I felt the price quoted was far greater that the value of work that needed to be preformed.I believe that if my project would have been a standard installation I would have used the company.

Installed a Moen FLO leak detector. Super high quality installation. I am very handy with plumbing repair and installation and they did a much better job than I could have done myself. Christian went above and beyond by contacting the manufacturer of our failed 6 yr old hot water heater and getting them to honor the warranty based on our home build date instead of the unit manufacture date. My window was 8-12 for an estimate to relocate a small section of our sewage line. Arrival was 12:50 with no call from their call center to announce arrival or apologize for delay.Representative, Christian was pleasant and respectful. He listened as I gave him all the information I had on existing pipes. I already knew the important things like depth/grade of both lines, materials of what both pipes was comprised of, and the size of each pipe. I have had the yard marked by Blue Stake, city of Phoenix, and a private locating company. We have done our homework and I willingly shared this information In hopes of either a detailed estimate or a ballpark estimate for comparison.Furthermore, I have already had it scoped with a camera by two other companies that did not charge me for the service as they wanted to do their own verifying of my information.After waiting all morning and being respectful to this company (I had another plumbing company wait so as they would not infringe on this company’s time or space) for the same estimate process.Final thoughts are, although I appreciate them wanting to check before giving me a quote, two other companies did so freely and were able to provide me a detailed estimate. Ironically, I was handed an empty folder with the words “The punctual plumber” and “If there’s any delay, it’s you we pay.” Not only did I wait all morning, I did not get a quote for the project I want, and would have been charged $300 plus for something that had already been done three times in the last three days at no cost.I only leave this review because this is my seventh plumbing company to the house and no two quotes have been the same. I have been reading reviews, meeting with companies and trying to find a decent price for a job done right and I hope this helps someone else who is investing a large amount time in the process.

I came home to find my water heater leaking throughout the garage. I had a Ben Franklin logo from when my garbage disposal was installed in my house. I sent them a message and received a response within minutes. They were able to send someone out that day. My service technician was Christian, and arrived a couple hours later. He was very thorough , did an excellent job explaining the situation to me and was very patient (I was pretty indecisive about which direction I wanted to go). Ultimately I needed to replace my water heater and was even more surprised that he could do it the same day. Christian did an excellent job explaining all my options and was very professional. I felt very comfortable in his skill set and never felt like he was pushing a sale. If you have Christian as your technician, you are in great hands. He made the experience feel like we called a friend over to come check out our plumbing. He taught me how to flush my water heater and answered all my questions about our plumbing and went over safety. Derek Pendleton from Benjamin Franklin/Brewer Companies came out to check all areas that are under warranty before out of warranty. He found that I needed the Anode Rod replaced in the hot water tank as it was deteriorating after only two years. I didn’t know that was normal. He tested my water inside and outside of my house, checked all sinks, toilets, shower, bathtub and water faucets inside and out including the washer/dryer hoses. Drained my water heater to drain out dirt and I was floored by how much dirt drained out. ? He explained since my warranty was about to expire on certain things their plans that I could choose from for further services down the road to keep everything running smooth. For me it’s easier to pay monthly rather that all at once for the repairs I might need. I chose the Deluxe plan as I get a free Anode Rod replacement and I’m certain I will need one every time. So it made sense to me to chose that plan. I also appreciate that one offers a free water testing. That is important to me as well. Derek was so polite and has such a great personality I found visiting with him a pleasure as he explained what he checked and even showed me where to shut my water off at in various locations. I had just gone through a flood in my kitchen and couldn’t remember where to shut my water off. ? Repairs just were finished this week. I will use Benjamin Franklin and call on Derek when I need something. Great service! Thank you!

Had Ben Franklin replace a water heater 3 years ago (WH had 6 year warranty). Water heater failed, and Ben Franklin would not honor the warranty. Evidently, it was initially installed by a different franchisee who is now out of business. Very nice on the phone, but nobody could make a decision for days, then they had us call THEIR warranty company, who also refused to help. The new franchise had all my account info, but wouldn't honor the warranty. Won't do business with them again.

I had Daniel and Danny from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing come to fix my shower, toilet and garbage disposal. They showed up very punctual and were very polite and knowledgeable. They fixed everything in a timely manner. I definitely recommend using them. Great service and staff.

Daryl was prompt, professional and personable. His work was clean and tight, and when complete he cleaned up, verified all worked and did some free maintenance things above my needs. The technician that came was very good. Our water heater (5 years old) started leaking with 1 year left on the warranty. The cost, with warranty buying the new water heater, was $760. I asked about upgrading to a better quality water heater and the cost became $2200. While the technician was good, the costs are ridiculous. $760 for 1.5 hour's work! And then $2200 for a water heater that is only available to contractors -- so you can't check the price -- and they turn in the warranty information and get a water heater for free.They're like morticians --- you're in a bind, so you pay and they reap huge profits.

Thank you Benjamin Franklin for sending an experienced plumber to resolve my issue. (two other companies had sent plumbers to assess my situation but were unable to zone in on the real problem)Shade listened to what I said and actually found the underground leak within a very short time of being here. Shade notified underground service markers and then he was here to start the work as soon as marking was done.Shade was very professional and he kept me informed on all things during the entire process.Daniel assisted Shade in the labor of the project for the two days that it took. He too was very competent in helping to complete the job. Hand digging a trench line on hot Arizona days is not an easy task. After backfilling the trench they raked gravel back over the area and left my yard looking great.Shade and Daniel remained pleasant and positive the whole time.I am amazed they were able to complete the job in only two days.Thanks guys!!!

Loved our experience with Ben Franklin, they exceeded our expectations and were extremely reasonable on their prices. We called them on short notice and they arrived in a few hours and fixed our hot water heater in approximately 30mins. This was especially important to me because my husband and I have two babies who need running water.

I had a clogged drain to the main sewer line. I have used Ben Franklin before and have always had good service and results. Today, Shade Adkins was my technician and he was very knowledgeable on what was going on and most likely to be the problem. Sure enough it was what he discussed on and the Roots were cleared away. He was pleasant to talk to and made the process go smooth. Ben Franklin is a little more expensive but worth the investment. I am a co-owner of a 5-star company and we literally have the best customer services in contracting for our services and are the most expensive as well, so I thought I would share that to attest to Ben Franklin customer services too.

Ben Franklin is a very trustworthy company and I have full confidence in their work. They do try to upsell you, but not aggressively. I have used them for all of my plumbing needs for the last fifteen years or so, everything from replacing toilets and hot water heaters to an under slab leak, and they have done excellent work every time. Every plumber of theirs that I have met shows up in a clean uniform and is very professional. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

The water heater was flushed. The gentleman Hernan advised he was going to send and email with a water softener quote. We never received it. The gentleman clarified my email twice. Also Hernan left my side gate completely opened. And it was opened for several hours later as my wife and I were working.

Daniel has recommended that I replace two toilets. He did unclog the pipe below a toilet to keep things running until I can get those and have him install them. He was honest about the fact that a toilet I purchase myself is less expensive than one that he would purchase as a tech for your company.

Shade Adkins did AMAZING!! We have been taking warm showers, no water pressure and just miserable when it came to our water, Shade came in and explaining everything, went over options and educated me on somethings! It appears to me that Ben Franklin Plumbing are not a bad company but because of their popularity they are marking up their prices a whole lot. So do yourself a favor and do some shopping before you go with them.I called them for a water softener and RO system install. Their representative came, explained a lot of things and I liked the options he offered.Then I called another company recommended to me by a friend. This second company comes over and offers the same things as Ben Franklin at a third of the price. I asked for the specs, warranty details and everything matches to what Ben Franklin were offering. But again, a third of the price.Well needless to say I did not go with Ben Franklin. I do give them 2 stars for they are professional and on point but I don't want to overpay for the same service. Thank you.

I noticed a leak in my water heater and called them at 10:00 AM and got a 2 PM appointment for the same day. Shade was the technician that came in and replaced my heater since it was under warranty. He did a excellent work and I was really impressed with his work.

I contacted Benjamin Franklin at our son’s recommendation. They were very responsive and came promptly when I had an issue. They made sure that the problem was resolved even though they didn’t have the part with them. He called his supervisor who made a special trip the same day to make sure we weren’t inconvenienced. They are hands down the most knowledgeable techs I have come across and have always been upfront with their analysis and pricing. They are always very clean, donning booties before entering the home and leaving the work area in the exact same condition they came into, sometimes even cleaner if there was a back up! We had a small miscommunication on pricing on our last visit as pricing is typically always given beforehand, our situation was unique but in the end tall was clarified by the Service Manager and was wrapped up to satisfaction. We have a large remod/addition coming up that has then already slated in as "our" plumber, would recommend to others!

Haim and his partner did a great job, He was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue. Even gave us tips to prevent the issue from happening again. Spent a little more than i wanted to but the job got done and it got done right and pretty quickly at that. I'd say it's worth the money just to call and have the professionals figure it out.

Had an emergency with my OLD water heater. After 20 years allegedly, it gave up its life at 1am Wednesday. Called the number. Answering service took information. 5 minutes later received a call from Juanita. She was reassuring and professional that they would have a technician ready to render aid early AM. Julio arrived by 8:30 and helped me with the various pricing packages. Very personable and professional. Whole replacement took 1.5 hours as discussed. Great unit. Great customer service. Christian did a wonderful job for us. First he gave us a chance to go out purchase hardware when he did not have any on his truck. Second, the fairly straightforward job became more challenging due to the old angle stops under our sinks but he was able to overcome the challenges and complete the job. Third he worked very diligently for several hours until the job was complete. Finally, he was very professional, helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. Can't ask for anything more!

We needed some plumbing work after a remodel in our kitchen and wanted to make sure it was done 100% correct after the installation of a new cast iron sink. Haim was very personable and friendly. We built an excellent rapport after a few minutes and he allowed me to hover so I can see his work. He was able to get all of the new fixtures and disposal installed in a timely fashion even after having to reroute some of the plumbing. I would highly recommend Haim and Ben Franklin. Their prices are very competitive and they met the time commitment they had promised.

Our experience with Shade of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was GREAT! He helped us with a water leak at our rental house. He was professional while also being personable and friendly, helping to put everything in layman's terms. He was respectful of our renter's space, used proper PPE, did his best to cut a clean hole, and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process. Shade was helpful in his recommendations and advice for how to proceed. We appreciated him reaching out a couple days later to follow up and answer any questions that had come up. I am definitely likely to call BFP again in the future! I am unsure how the pricing compares to other companies.

James was the plumber that we had and he was AMAZING. Could not have asked for a better experience. He did an amazing job repairing what another plumber tried to fix and also came back a separate time to install the new faucet in the kitchen, fix the valves in our two master bathroom sinks and put in what seemed to be a complicated shower panel so quick and easily! We will be using James for all of our plumbing needs from now on!

I was really impressed with the integrity of Ben Franklin Plumbing. They had a mixup in scheduling and once they realized it they sent out a plumbing specialist Shade Adkins who was great. They were 50 minutes late and they apologized over and over plus gave me a $250 discount. They are so serious about being on time that they give $5 per minute that they are late!

I just bought a home, the regulator to the house was broken and the water heater was not installed to code. I was able to get an appointment scheduled <1 week out in a time slot that worked for me. Roger Armstrong showed up earlier than the scheduled time and completed the work in less than 2 hours (removed/installed regulator and correctly plumbed the water heater). The quality of the work was outstanding, and everything is working great now; I would definitely recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing.

Yearly maintenance on our water heater. The office gave us a 4 hour window on the arrival time but took it a step further and called to let us know who was coming out and that Brian would be at our home in about 1/2 hour. Brian was courteous and asked if we had any questions before and after he was done with the job.

I was so very impressed with our technician, Shade! The pilot light went out on out hot water heater on a Saturday night. Not only was the entire staff at Benjamin Franklin very responsive, but Shade was professional, competent and went above and beyond. He not only got our heater started, but also taught us how to do this in the future and gave us excellent advice for how to prevent this problem and when to replace our water heater. Ben Franklin came out the day after I called, called ahead when technician was on his way, did a thorough inspection and didn’t find a leak, and waived the fee. I was so relieved and happy with their service I will call them again with future plumbing issues.

We engaged Ben Franklin Plumbing for a toilet repair in the master bedroom. It was rocking and turning and we were concerned about safety. As it was later in the day on a Sunday, they said they'd have to send someone out next day. Haim arrived and assessed the situation. He performed a flange replacement, installed a new wax seal, and finished with a solid shimming and caulking. We are very pleased with the result and look forward to doing business with Ben Franklin Plumbing again in the future.Update: 4/7/2021We had Ben Franklin Plumbing out again for a sewer line inspection and to help us locate the sewer clean-outs in our front yard. Daniel was extremely professional and explained the inspection process to us in detail. After the inspection, he made a recommendation that we do a Hydrojet cleaning of the sewer line to eliminate any buildup. We will have Ben Franklin Plumbing out again in the near future to complete the recommended work. I highly recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

We had a bad water leak and placed a service call this morning. Roger Armstrong from Ben Franklin Plumbing responded and he was terrific! He helped with a number of issues, some of which were challenging because our home is almost 40 years old. He worked hard all day addressing our plumbing issues and did an excellent job! Most importantly, he’s a great guy who truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend Roger and Ben Franklin For any of your plumbing needs.

A few years ago, I had a major plumbing disaster. I was impressed with the integrity and professionalism of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, which is why I called them for a toilet that wouldn’t consistently flush. The plumber that came out replaced a flapper valve and flush assembly. An angle stop and supply line were also replaced, despite the fact that they had been replaced a couple of years ago and were not in need of replacement. The bill for these relatively minor repairs was $265, and when the plumber left, the problem was not corrected. If not for the $265 bill, I would not have known he was here. Needless to say, I will be looking for another plumber to address this problem and all future plumbing needs. One star is being given because I can’t give less

JC was out at our sewer issue within an hour of first request. He faced a difficult repair during a pool excavation, in 110 degree heat.

He was able to repair the damaged sewer line quickly and had our house back on line.

We had our warranty inspection completed and Derek was excellent! He was very thorough going over what he would be checking and asked if we had any plumbing issues we were experiencing or had concerns about.

They were super knowledgeable, very nice, straightforward with costs and what was wrong and the correct way to repair it vs what would be a “bandaid”. Even went as far as to discuss further with a 2nd plumber/technician within the company to make sure he would do the same and had me on speaker phone with him as well. They were very transparent with everything.

We are getting new counter tops so needed the sink and garbage disposal disconnected before the old counter could be taken out. The plumber came in the time frame given, he was courteous, did his job well, wore a mask. I am very happy with the service given.

The plumber Haim was working with another plumber that day and both were extremely polite, professional, and efficient. They also took the time to thoroughly explain everything. I could not be more pleased with the service I received. I will definitely use them again when I need plumbing help!

I called for an estimate to swap out a water heater that was leaking. Brian from BF arrived on time with a neat uniform and was very helpful about what the problem was. The only problem was the price which is a fixed cost for the job. $760, and that does not include the cost of the new water heater. I figured at most it would take 2 to 3 hours so that would be about $250/hour. I guess that's what the plumbers have gone to....a fixed rate like that versus an hourly rate. I guess I don't blame them if they can get it. But not from me. I'll be tackling this job myself and taking my wife somewhere for a nice 3 day weekend with the savings.

We had a blockage in the main sewer line between the house and the street which caused backup into our tubs, showers, and caused our toilets to overflow. I called on a Saturday and was put on an appointment list for Sunday due to heavy volume. I got a call mid day on Saturday that a plumber was on the way. Christian cleared the blockage which was at the street. He also checked our pressure and cleared a blockage in one tub.Christian was knowledgeable, professional, very pleasant, and thorough. We have used Benjamin Franklin in the past and will continue to do so in the future. We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin for any plumbing need.

Anthony came out and replaced my exploded water heater. It wouldn't even drain right so he had to get it out with a bunch of heavy water in there. He also inspected the rest of the plumbing in the house and explained the things to watch out for. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Also, I called them last night, so it was next day service.

Anthony Potts came to my home to flush the hot water tank under warranty. The company texted me to let me know a technician had been dispatched. Anthony was at my home quickly, was professional, knowledgeable and wearing a mask. He flushed the tank and left me with a quote for future services (requested). All in all, a very good experience. Repairman from Benjamin Franklin was nice and friendly. He came out for a scheduled maintenance on my 4 year old water heater! Water was drained and replaced. The anode rod was replaced as it was clearly corroded and confirmed with my brother-in-law who is a Plummer via FaceTime. However before the repairman left, he showed me that my water pressure regulator was reading 100 psi and that my regulator was going bad. I chose not to replace as it would have cost about $600. I called my water company and they will be out tomorrow to check on it and adjust the water pressure! I will see what they say whether it needs to be replaced! I am wondering why the repairman did not offer to adjust it! We will see what Epcor, my water Company, says tomorrow!Follow Up:Water company confirmed water regulator was shot! Confirmed 100 psi! A Benjamin Franklin service person installed a brand new water heater at our home and left. The installation seemed well done in appearance but we did not get any hot water. Called their service line expecting a quick response from a company that offers 24/7 service and supposedly stands behind their service. What I got was an appointment between 12-4 tomorrow with a statement that I would be charged a $69 service fee. Concerned with this response a follow up call to their main phone line was made and I was told that actually there were no 12-4 appointments free and it would actually be 4-7 tomorrow. I decided to look into the issue myself and found that the brand new mixing valve installed with the water heater was grossly out of adjustment. I fixed the problem myself in 5 minutes and we now have hot water. I expected much better service from this highly respected company and a better response to s complaints of a poor initial installation. Very disappointed with Benjamin Franklin plumbing.

This was our 2nd repair to where our watering system connected to the main. The first was done. But a while later noticed leaking in the same area. James Estes came out. He found water was constantly moving the meter. He then had me turn on the drip after I told him I thought it might be the drip bacause it had dried up since I called the day before. As soon as I turned it on, I knew it was a completely different leak. James talked with the office and went for the part. Turned out they sold him the wrong part, so he went again. I am so thankful for Ben Franklin Plumbing. They are always courteous and professional and give you the bottom line.

Roger did an awesome job of diagnosing the issue (slab leak) and providing options. He checked other areas of concern and was clear on the cost. It was a big job involving rerouting pipes but left the area clean and all is working great. I would recommend Roger for all of your plumbing needs.

They were selected by my insurance company to uninstall a product that I was part of a pilot program for. The scope of the job I expected them to do was to cut the item out and patch the pipes. Instead they took the extra time to install a pressure limiter on the system. This was beyond the scope of work expected. When someone goes above what is required or expected it is a good thing. Next time I have a pluming issue I am going to call them.

We have used Benjamin Franklin for years. Very happy until this last experience. We are out of town. Our pool service notified us of leak and sent us a photo. Sent office photo of problem. Office didn’t give it to technician who had no idea why he was dispatched to our house. Technician’s phone didn’t work. Terrible communication.

READ TO THE END!!!! Jack came out to give a bid on installing a new water main to the house, as another plumber had informed us it was necessary. Jack’s bud came in significantly less than the other outfit, so we scheduled for today. He was here ALL DAY getting the new pipe dug (about a 30-foot dig across the front yard to the house), using B-line for most of it and hand-trenching the other 12 feet or so. Now: HERE’S THE 5-STAR PART: When he went to connect the line to the house, he discovered that the PVC pipe we THOUGHT was the main, was actually NOT the main. The mai line was about 12” BELOW the PVC pipe, in a ridiculous position (very no -standard...so if you have a Beazer home, triple check things before working on plumbing!)He APOLOGIZED for something that wasn’t his fault, then didn’t even charge a trip charge or labor fees. He spent the WHOLE DAY here, and got paid NOTHING (they work 100% on commission). He even tried to write off the new anode rod he installed in the water heater, but I refused to take that kind gesture. He told us that the line is t a main, and as such, probably is not so urgent a need as we had supposed.Honest, hard-working people are harder and harder to come by these days, so when I find one, I like to let folks know.Jack is a man to trust. I reached out to Ben Franklin late on a Saturday and to my surprise received an email reply on Sunday morning. The tech (Shade) arrived shortly thereafter that morning and quickly diagnosed a very obscure problem where the builder incorrectly connected a hot water feed at my tub to cold water. Even though we had to open up the ceiling, Shade surgically opened up the precise spot where the repair needed to be done and quickly addressed the issue. He was very open and transparent throughout the repair, much appreciated!

Our into appointment was for tankless water heater service which was installed by Benjamin Franklin in 2019. This was warranty service call. It was discovered our water pressure valve was not working properly so Tzvi replaced our unit plus updated irrigation valves. Contacted them on Friday to fix another company’s error on a water softener feed line. They were able to come out on Saturday, and while they were here, had them fix 3 other plumbing issues. Well a guy came and flushed our water heater on a Friday. After he left we heard a wooshing sound in our water heater, like a washer filling. Our water heater was due to be drained and inspected. Also, it was time for our water softener sediment filter to be replaced. Anthony Potts was dispatched and, while inspecting our softener system, he stated that, based on its age, our carbon filter should be changed, too. He was very thorough in explaining the workings of our softener system and how changing the carbon filter was crucial to protecting the actual resin "softening" of the water softening unit. Since the filter had never been recharged in the six years since the system was installed, we agreed. Anthony took the time to test the water for chlorine to ensure that the resin had not been compromised to the point of also needing to be replaced. He subsequently reported that the chlorine levels were still at a good level and nothing further was needed.While he was there, I mentioned that we had been hearing hammering sounds in the wall of one of our bathrooms, occurring when either the toilet or faucet was used elsewhere in our home. Anthony posited that the pressure release valve might be to blame. Upon investigation of our front yard PRV, Anthony noted that the pressure on the valve was set too high for our locality, which could explain the noises we heard. He stated that the city could increase water pressure at times without our knowledge and if the combination of city water pressure and PRV pressure load were set too high, the stresses created could ultimately damage the pipes within the walls of the house. After Anthony replaced the valve with a new adjustable version, we have not heard any more noises! Anthony was very professional. courteous, and polite. Would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (and Anthony Potts) for your next plumbing job!

Shade is the man! I have had several plumbers try to resolve a strange knocking noise and give me different explanations and not solve the problem. Shade was systematic in diagnosing the issue, fixed it and then proceeded resolve a couple other issues. He kept me informed along the way and was super safe and personable. In the course of discovering that toilet removal and major snake would be required, associate Tzvi Asa replaced outside valves to restore considerable water pressure in my 67-year-old house. Mr. Asa was efficient, thorough, and informative about my options. Also, amiable and a pleasure to deal with. I can affirm 100% satisfaction. . . . Some weeks later, I am impelled to add superlatives to my original (and deservedly glowing) review: Mr. Asa returned with "The Plumbing King" Roger A. Removed an internet connected water leak detection device that I had been testing for my insurance company for the last couple of years. Insurance company ended the test and contracted with this company to remove the unit from my garage. The next time I went in the garage water was leaking on the floor where the plumber removed the unit. I called and scheduled them to return and fix the leak for the same afternoon. At 5 PM they called and said they were running late and wouldn’t be there until after 7:30 PM and I would be charged $129 for after hours service. I refused and am still waiting to get the issue that they created repaired.

I called this morning because the pilot light on our gas water heater had gone out and I couldn't get it to stay lit. To make a long story short, repairing the heater was going to incur a significant cost and we'd had issues with it in the past. So, I wasn't very confident that a repair would last.We replaced the unit with a tankless water heater and I think we'll be very happy with it.Austin was the technician who did the install along with Jared who is in training. Received a same day appointment. If you are available all day, you can get a cheaper rate. The company called, emailed, and text to let me know Roger was on his way. Roger arrived, introduced himself, and got to work quickly. Although no fault of Roger’s, we did find out my year old home has some issues with the plumbing... really unhappy about that! Roger fixed the current issue, cleaned up, and was on his way. I don’t think this is the cheapest company out there, but I received good service so it lessens the heartbreak of the cost. I’m really hoping I do not need to see Roger our his company again, but if I do, I would give them a call.

We sent a text to Benjamin Franklin last evening after we noticed we didn't have any hot water. They texted back immediately stating a service manager would get back to us today and they did. A serviceman by the name of Shade came out to our house in the afternoon and replaced our hot water heater. Shade was very friendly and professional. I had a water heater issue. I called BFP and they were eager to schedule right away... upon inspection it was determined it needed replacing. Nicholas was our tech and he did an amazing job especially working in the extreme heat throughout the day. Absolutely a professional company with prompt, efficient and extremely good follow through process. We needed a gas line to be installed in our home for first a cooking range and secondly for an opto of have a gas dryer for the future use. I left a text message on Sunday expecting to hear from them on Monday and to my surprise they responded back almost instantly and gave us of a time frame for Wednesday. Darryl showed up and certainly gave us an estimate with a couple of options. So far, based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin to anyone who has a need for this type of service. More to follow through after the project is completed should we go with their estimate.

Prompt service, nice repair guy, but the labor price I was quoted was $400 for a 30-minute project, plus the retail cost for parts. I fixed it myself, with no plumbing knowledge in, you guessed it: 25 minutes. That’s about $800 an hour plus the $49 dispatch fee plus parts. No thanks.

Pretty much un-installed my own hot water heater and just needed the new one installed. The tank was under warranty and total was going to be almost $800 just in labor.That is almost $400 more than was quoted by other companies. Also Sunday is a regular work day for this company so there was not a weekend premium.I would suggest calling around and getting prices and if they won’t quote you, don’t use them. Very disappointed.

Your plumber, Nicholas Myhre, was one of the absolute best craftsman I have ever hired. He determined the problem, gave me the cost of replacing a worn-out garbage disposal which included any plumbing changes required under the sink. They were able to arrive earlier than scheduled. That was nice. However, they wanted nearly $1k, for labor, to do a warranty replacement (labor warranty expired). I found another company to do it for $450. Even the manufacturer thought $1k was too high.No wonder they call themselves Benjamin Franklin, they are charging people all those Benjamin Franklin's for warranty work.

Agreed to replace 7 year old water softener system - I asked them to increase the size: USD3200. Didn't negotiate agreed. Then find out they installed October 8 a similar size system as I used to have; were too cheap to even use the 3 bags of salt they brought as I had salt in the old system; didn't send an invoice. Spoke to Service Manager Steve: he promised to call back October 12 - he didn't. I called his cell phone but no voice mail setup; called office October 15 and left message for him to call me - didn't happen; called October 16 and was told he is in a meeting and would call me back. Didn't happen - called this morning and was promised Steve would call me back. You figure out for yourself how professional this company is.

Very responsive, same day service. The tech, Rich, was very communicative and resolved our issue. He also advised us on how to prevent further issues from developing. Not sure how they are priced compared to other companies, but we were pleased with the service provided.

We have a tankless water heater that they installed and it stopped working. I called on Saturday afternoon and spoke to Todd who was on call. He said he could have Shade there in the morning (Sunday). Shade arrived at 8:00 am and began to diagnose the problem. He called the manufacturer who had a technician on call who, with Shade, figured out the problem, fix it and now I have HOT water again. Shade had been here before for a leak and was familiar with the heater, so he was easy to work with, friendly, punctual and professional. I appreciate his and the companies quick response time.

We had a Buoy water monitoring device in our water system under a pilot project to test the device and system. USAA sponsored the project and recently the project was discontinued so USAA instructed us to contact Benjamin Franklin to have the Buoy device removed.We called and made an appointment and everything worked like clock work. Two plumbers showed up on time and it took less than 30 minutes for them to complete the job. Very smooth and professional.

VERY detailed in what to expect and what the final outcome was, down to showing me the bad parts and how they came to be in that state. Got a call before arriving. Really appreciated the honesty of the techs. I my self am a field tech. I take the time to break down the what's and why's. I dont expect the homeowner to know what I've been doing for years, and I take the time to help them understand what led to us being called to their home, so they are confident in the work that needs to be done. And that's the same honest experience I received today. These guys have been doing it for years. I had every reason to trust their experience and expertise. Over all, no one wants to deal with home repairs, but when handled by total pros like Shade and his partner, I can rest easy knowing it was done right!

We had a whole-home plumbing inspection done. The technicians, Cisco and Derek were on-time and professional. The water heater was drained, flushed and refilled. Also replaced the Anode Rod in the water heater which was deteriorated. All of the plumbing and faucets were inspected and confirmed in good working condition. Cisco went over everything in detail and answered all of my questions. Great experience with Cisco and Derek.

The issue was not resolved but the technician was kind and courteous. Some issues I really don't blame the technician for, but more their company policy. It seems like the issue could be resolved (obstruction in toilet) if the technician unscrewed the toilet from the base and cleared out the obstruction from there. But going that route would cost the same as a new toilet. Instead, we were advised to purchase a new toilet and have it installed for 1k. If I knew the price was this high I would have fixed it myself.

I have lived in my home for 7 yrs w/ no plumbing issues, until our water heater stopped working. I called BF plumbing, they came right out and were very easy to work with on the sales side. The plumber Roger upsold me on the warranty, which should have been my first indication this company is shady. Now I have air in my water lines and Roger came back and said it was impossible to have my issue with a water heater replacement. It is very hard for me to understand how I just coincidentally am having this issue directly after the replacement. When I explained that I just wanted my issue fixed Roger said he couldn’t help me, turned around and walked away into his truck. Unbelievable unprofessional and just unnecessary. Oh, this was the day after they scheduled me and forgot the previous day. Use these guys at your peril!!!

I had no idea that a $69 service fee meant paying their gas. I called Ben Franklin Plumbing and told them my sewer line backed up. The person on the phone told me it would be a $69 service fee for the technician to come out. When the tech got here, he had to call someone and ask what to do. Then told me it would be $289 to run a snake down the pipe. I asked what happened to the $69 service fee and he told me that is the price for them to come out with no work done. I was amazed! With companies running a $39 special to snake a sewer line, Ben Franklin Plumbing charges for gas to LOOK at the problem and then adds more on top of that for work. When I called their office, the lady I spoke to tried to tell me the $69 service fee is the tech and equipment in the truck. When I told her he hasn't even used any equipment yet, I am paying for your gas, she said yes. Unbelievable! I will never use Ben Franklin Plumbing again.

Christian and Luis were prompt, friendly, extremely professional, and did excellent work. Neither of them talked down to me because I'm female, something which happens all too often in this industry. I would absolutely recommend Ben Franklin (and Christian and Luis).

He took the time to listen to my problem and agreed to my suggestion of using the disposal with food in it versus just water when the problem couldn’t be recreated with just water. Luis came out to repair a broken outdoor spigot. Luis was on time and did the job rather quickly. Although they did a great job, I was pretty shocked by the prices. Due to COVID-19, Ben Franklin waived the 69.00 dispatch fee which I was grateful for; however, the repair still came out to 320.00. This was for a spigot and vacuum breaker and included a 10% military discount. I recommend reaching out to several other plumbing companies to compare quotes prior to committing to a service. Lesson learned on my part.

Hot water heater was leaking on Sunday so my husband called Ben Franklin Plumbing...we got a response immediately. They sent out their technician Egson Osmani who assessed the heater and determined that it did need to be replaced. Egson took the time to find out if our current heater was still under warranty...because it was a Sunday the manufacturer's were not in so he called them first thing on Monday Morning, got the necessary information and called us right away. We also had follow up calls from Ben Franklin's Corporate making sure everything was to our satisfaction. We made the decision to go with Ben Franklin, Egson was at our home by 10:30 Monday morning to change out the heater. Because of Egson, his knowledge of the products, his professionalism and no pushy sales approach and Ben Franklin's Corporate staff this has been one of the best experience's that we have had with a service team. Had toilets backing up in both restrooms had Benjamin Franklin pluming come out to unclog our toilets. James was such a great plumber helped us inclog it and gave us advice and tips on our plumbing system. Will go to them again in the future.

I called Benjamin Franklin at 9:00 this morning after having a bad experience with another local company that couldn’t diagnose the issue yesterday. By 10:00am I received a call from the office that Nicholas the technician was in route. He arrived at our place at 11:00 and promptly diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately the replacement part / had to be ordered due to the age of our tankless heater. Nicholas, Not only is a trained journeymen, he exuded customer service and very professional appearance. Through USAA, I had a Resideo Buoy Water Monitor installed on my outdoor water line. USAA and Resideo decided the systems weren't doing the job for which intended and decided to remove them. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing AZ was the local plumbing company chosen for this removal. The unit was removed in less than 45 minutes, with minimal disruption of my family's lives, except for no water during the time required to remove the unit and restore the water pipes. Very professional job.

Like all other Pulte homes in our Fireside at Norterra neighborhood, Ben Franklin (ie Brewer) installed our water heater. It was an A. O. Smith unit. When our home was barely more than 2 - 1/2 years old, the tank gave out! We arrived home to a large, steady stream out of the water heater. Seriously, what 'quality' water heater provides a tank that busts open so quickly? Ben Franklin was readily available to provide a service call, but my chief complaint is that they refused to provide any information over the phone. For example, they refused to look up our unit's serial number to confirm it was under warranty. Once we confirmed with A.O. Smith it was still under limited parts warranty, we called back to Ben Franklin, to see how much they might charge for labor to replace our unit. Unlike the other plumbing contractors, they refused to provide any pricing estimates over the phone. All 4 other contractors provided some reasonable type of labor estimate (ie, estimated total labor cost, with stipulations; a price range; or the labor charge per hour). Ben Franklin provided no idea. All they stated was that we wouldn't be charged the $69 service call fee if we used them to replace our heater. But what if they want to charge us $750 while everyone else charges under $500?? Based on what I have seen and heard, they tend to be more expensive for their labor. The fact they would not provide any info over the phone seems to validate that assumption.

Roger and Daniel of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing just completed a complete re-piping of my house, to replace polybutylene piping from 1995, and updated my tankless water heater.They were excellent in their quality of work, in answering any questions I had, in retro-fitting and routing the most of the new lines in places that can be covered with drywall and the remainder in inconspicuous locations that blend in.They cleaned up after themselves as well.And, they did it at a price that beat other big name plumbers in the valley.I would recommend them highly.

The technician was excellent, I chose not to get the work done because the price was ridiculously out of this world. They quoted me $1,565 and they said it would be about three-and-a-half to four hours of work, if you do the math that is approximately $375 an hour. Who the hell can afford that...

I see many five stars which made me chose them. My experience not so good. They came out quickly and installed a new water heater the very next day. My home owners gave me authorization to go outside contracted Plummer's due to no one in the area. All my home owners needed was a call from the plumber. I was calling when he said why are you calling them they aren't going to help. I tried to explain that they would but he was not going to work with me. I still called them and told them what he said. My water heater was over 20 years old and I had to keep it on high which caused a high gas bill. I asked about flushing it out and he said he could but more than likely would not help because it's old and hard water caused a mess inside. Also showed me corrosion and a leaky connection. All I needed was that statement on a report and Old Repulic would reimburse me. I have call Ben Franklin five times. Old Republic supervisor had called them several times for the report. Today I was told by BF that they will contact their VP. Wondering if this was just a hard sale to an elderly female. Old Repulic is shocked that the manager had not taken care of this issue after telling me several times they would. I get told different stories every call. Just because they are not contracted with my home owners does not mean they would not pay I had an authorization. I guess they got their money so all is good in their word but not mine I had to charge $1700 dollars on a charge card and I'm below poverty level. Shame on you if it was your personal money I bet you would take care of it immediately

We've lived in this home since January, 2010, and found a *third* slab leak in our 20 year old house last week. Austin from Ben Franklin Plumbing came over & I asked if it would be smart to just get the entire house replumbed.Austin looked at it all, & came up with 3 choices. He gave us an estimate of the cost to change out outdated faucets, change out a toilet, replace the water heater with the plumbing work.He then estimated the cost to get the entire house replumbed, without the new faucets, toilet & water heater.Finally, the third and least expensive estimate was only to fix the slab leak. We chose to replumb the entire house, since there are more water lines under the other part of this house, and we just wanted it all to be finally fixed.Monday morning Austin & Jared arrived & worked prepping the walls for access. Holes had to be cut into the drywall wherever there was a water line. Off the top of my head, I've counted 15 different areas.Tuesday the new plumbing Plex hose was installed which meant a lot of Attic work in the three crawl spaces scattered in this large home.Wednesday the new Plex was connected to each plumbing fixture. That involved more attic work & making sure everything was working according to plan.There was an issue with the master bathroom sinks, so Austin came by on his day off to troubleshoot & fixed the issue.If I could give this company and team 10 stars for working in our attic during monsoon season when it's been very hot & humid --105°+ temps w/ +25% humidity levels, I would!We originally chose this company because they are a member of the R.O.T.H. Don Osborn found a leak in a pipe in the wall in the laundry room which had been dripping on a pipe below it and weakening the second pipe.He repaired both pipes.He had to cut into the wall to access the leaks and did perfect cuts for the restoration people to do their work restoring the wet wall.

Our service was excellent. James was very professional and explained everything and gave us a couple of options that we could go with.

When faced with the inability to find replacement faucet cartridges from a manufacturer that's now out of business, he used various tricks of the trade to refurbish the existing cartridges and otherwise tackle the leak. Terrible value for installing kitchen faucets. No estimate provided over the phone, but it's $69 for someone to whip out a book with install prices. Why couldn't this be provided over the phone? Prices felt predatory and not competitive at all. Even with a coupon, the total cost was way out of anybody's reasonable expectations. Sad to have recommended this to a family member, won't be returning.

Daniel came out and reviewed our problem. Unfortunately he was not able to remedy our problem, because our COA must contact Epcor to turn off the master water supply.However he was very prompt and diligently explained the repair cost.

They came out super fast when we had a gas line cut on accident when a tree was being planted. The only thing I could’ve hoped for was less expensive but they were amazing and fast as we were hoping that we could use our hot water & our gas stove again quickly!

When I first moved to Sun City West AZ in 2013 I had my water heater bust open and needed to be replaced. I called Ben Franklin Plumbing who had been used in the house before for other plumbing issues. A "gentleman" about my own age came by , looked at the heater and sat down at my kitchen table with a binder to give me an "estimate". For a basic 50 gallon water heater - $10,000.00. YES $10,000.00 for a basic 50 gallon water heater. At which point I asked to remove himself from my house and told him I knew 50 gallon water heater were at that time 350.00 to 450.00 for what I wanted. Then he said "well you still have to pay me my 85.00 fee for coming here" This was after we paid about 600.00 for each toilet to be repaired. Its wrong for them to try to hurt retirees out of greed. Will definitely be looking for a new plumber.Woke up to a very bad leak in the main line. Something I would look at fixing myself normally, but it was due to rain all day and taking of work was not possible. Shut the water off at the city valve and called Ben Franklin since we had used them before and had always been satisfied.The plumber arrived in a reasonable amount of time and performed the repair.The one star is for the price gouging on this job. I was expecting to pay a premium for an emergency call for a repair outside on a rainy day, but when I returned home and saw what was replaced I feel like I was charged 2x what a premium rate would be for the job that was performed.

STAY AWAY. Honestly could have burned the house down. Was called to redo the water supply line to the house. The plumber came out and while he was doing the work started a fire on the side of the house and made a huge hole in the side of the house because of the fire. Offered to take $50 off the bill for repairing the side of the house, are you kidding me. Wow! Should have done the work for free and paid to repair the damage. That shows no accountability and talk about sweeping it under the rug. What if he didnt catch it in time, the house is on fire. He is NOT a fireman, so how he can he tell he completely put it out. The only reason he got away with it is because we weren't home and had a friend over to deal with the plumber while we were out. So, I call corporate to talk to the manager, of course he isn't in. I leave a message to call back, and has he? It's been weeks with no call. Guess I'll either take the to the ROC or court.

Nicholas was fantastic. Honest and professional. My quote was shocking considering my part was under warranty but that was due to me having no idea what was involved.

Did work on my toilet, they were fast and accommodative but quoted me $1800 for a 40 gallon gas water heater and $250 for the plunger assembly in a bathroom sink. Home Depot has a $400 water heater and $30 for a fancy plunger assembly, haha. Had the water heater installed and paid for at $750 and did the sink for $50 with another plumbing company.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing installed a new garbage disposal in my mother's kitchen sink. It worked fine - no complaints. After the installation the dishwasher quit working. It wouldn't drain. Her solution was to quit using the dishwasher.Now, 12 years later it's time for a new dishwasher. Done, a new dishwasher and it has the same problem. It won't drain. What's the real problem?As it turns out, the plumber who installed the garbage disposal connected the hose from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal without knocking out the "knock out". Hence, the dishwasher did not drain.Twelve years ago Mom was charged $554.30 for a new garbage disposal and its installation. That seemed exorbitant at the time - still does. It also cost her not having the use of her dishwasher for 12 years - not knowing it's malfunction was actually the result of an improperly installed garbage disposal. Now add the cost of a new dishwasher.That was one mighty expensive garbage disposal!

The guys that show up are always nice and professional. I didn't mind they showed up after 5pm for an appointment time of between 12 and 4p and didn't call to say they were running late, it happens. I found out today that the tankless water heater they recommended and installed 5 years ago is out of warranty, the manufacturer is out of business and I am out of luck. The $5k we spent is a loss since the water heater only made it 5 of the anticipated 15-20 years we had been told at the sale. Not sure what to do because they now recommend we spend another $11k, yes $11k to buy a new system. As much as I like the people that have come to our home over the years, I'm not confident they know much about tankless water heaters or care that they recommended a dud last time. The 15% discount on the new system they offered was kind of a slap in the face. I can only imagine if I treated my patients like that.

I am furious with Ben Franklin Plumbing! We called them to have our tankless water heater flushed and serviced. The person om the phone quoted us $69.99, but when the serviceman came out, he told us it would be an additional $325.00 to service the water heater! Very misleading.
