Maloney Plumbing was an awesome experience from start to finish. The scheduler was so nice - friendly and efficient. She scheduled me with Jason and told me I’d love him, and she was so right. He was friendly at the door and not irritated by the greeting from my yapping dachshund. Jason was so patient, friendly and personable the entire day, and it was a long one with all my plumbing needs in a ‘new to me’ house. I HIGHLY recommend Maloney plumbing. Top notch. A+

I've used Maloney on several plumbing service calls. On the most recent, Jason (the tech) was excellent. He spent a good portion of his Saturday dealing with our water heater and he did it with professionalism and a smile. He cleaned up everything nicely and left us with a great-looking new water heater. Would be nice if we had more guys like Jason doing service calls for all the other businesses we've called on over the years. I love their contact system via text where it keep me updated all the time about their timeline, arrival, etc. Anyway, I'll definitely continue using Maloney when we need them.

Maloney Plumbing exceeded my expectations. Very simple to navigate their website - I used the chat to submit my information, and was contacted via phone very promptly - huge plus to work with them through this easy process. I was able to get someone to come out within the hour. Don was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I didn't feel like I was being pressured into getting any work done that I was having diagnosed, but he was very clear of what I could expect as far as additional charges if certain conditions did arise.

Contacted Maloney for several issues -- water softener replacement, water filter swap-out, and disposal upgrade. My man Jason came out and assessed the job on Wednesday, provided a quote, and returned Thursday to perform all the work. This guy's a real pro -- answered all my questions and explained things clearly. Went way above and beyond cleaning a bizarre old wax build-up under my washer/dryer in the garage...totally outside the job scope, but much appreciated -- even re-themed the old brine tank into a sweet garbage receptacle for me. The office team is friendly and responsive. If you're struggling to find a reliable plumbing company, give Maloney a shot.

Jason was very polite, and professional. He saw to our need immediately - fixed the problem all within 40 minutes! He installed a better shower unit on another visit which was/is a wonderful upgrade for my mother! It’s within her reach now, and safer. I would highly recommend Maloney Plumbing to anyone in need of a plumber. Our shower handle broke earlier this evening, and Don from Maloney came over after hours and quickly repaired everything (thanks again Don!). I’ve used Maloney 3 times now and have nothing but great things to say.

Tom, the plumber from Maloney's, replaced a valve and installed a new flushing mechanism in a toilet that had started to flush constantly. I supplied the new mechanism; Tom did only the installation. Tom was prompt and courteous. He finished the job in a reasonable amount of time (about an hour), and he kept the work area clean. Before starting the job, he told me the price, which was over $500. I agreed to pay $500 for about an hour's work because l needed the use of the toilet, and l would have been forced to pay $59 for the estimate if l didn't have Maloney's do the installation. But l think the fee was far too high.

We had been using another plumbing company. They came to clean our drains which resulted in damage to our tub drain (not that company’s fault, our home was built in the 50’s and has original cast iron plumbing) We had the same company come back to give us an estimate on the repair. After providing an extremely expensive estimate, we decided to call Maloney. Tom with Maloney came to give us an estimate, without hesitation despite the damage being caused by a competing company. Tom not only provided me with a ‘worst case scenario’ estimate that was less than half the price of the other company’s ‘best case scenario’ estimate, but he also pointed out many things that the other company missed entirely (the other company was going to cut a hole in the wrong wall because they didn’t bother to measure anything)Tom was personable, professional, quick, thorough, and honest. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do, and how much each step would cost me.Thanks to Tom and Maloney, our shower/tub works great and we paid 1/3 the cost of the other company’s ‘best case scenario’ estimate.I immediately cancelled my membership with the other company and we are now loyal Maloney customers. I will be requesting Tom for any plumbing jobs we need in the future!

Maloney Plumbing has a great reputation in the valley and it was upheld during my experience. The technician, Colin was efficient and professional. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

We called Maloney Plumbing for a kitchen drain that was backed up. I called at 8 AM and was given a scheduled arrival between 1 and 3. Service rep, Colin, arrived a couple hours early. He listened to what we had to say about our problem, explained what he would be doing and the cost. The drain was a pain and he spent a couple of hours and showed us the drain camera results. I would recommend Maloney Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

He completely disassembled the showerhead to find out exactly what the problem was and then after everything was dry reassembled it correctly and securely. His attention to detail when assembling the Faucets was excellent as well as his cleanup. I rarely have seen anybody bring a dropcloth to the job to prevent any damage to the flooring. And his cleanup was done well and nothing was left behind in my garbage or recycle cans.That’s a first! If I need assistance in the future I will request Jason. He’s very kind and very respectful. Kudos!

Best experience we've ever had in Arizona.

The service man who replaced my 2 year-old broken down Rheem water heater with another of the same brand was excellent. He was clean, on time, kind and patient about finding a replacement tank, which was difficult and time consuming. The only thing I didn't like was the cost of the installation. I believe it was far too expensive.

I called about a broken water heater, and Tom was there within two hours. He spent time going over all the replacement options, and we got a new one installed that afternoon. We were extremely happy with the entire experience and will definitely be calling Maloney's again.

We had a line break in the middle of the night and part of the house was flooded. The on call staff responded to my call promptly and sent out a plumber who identified the problem, repaired the pipe and checked other locations to make sure this did not happen again—all for a fair price.Maloneys is the ONLY plumbing company I will use in the future.

Jason arrived on time and with a smile to uninstall our old and install our new gas oven and range. He created a plan for removal, put down drop cloth, removed all the packaging, and swept and cleaned up when he was finished. This might have been the most efficient and pleasant vendor service call I have ever experienced.

Initially our appt was to get the waterconnected to our new fridge. Upon arrival Jason determined the hookups under our kitchen sink needed replaced. He was very professional explaining what needed to be done and why and his work was top notch. From my initial phone call to schedule the appt to completion of the work we could not have been more satisfied

Maloney Plumbing was very professional. They helped with a plumbing issue on one of my rental properties, they answered all my questions and I was especially thankful to Tracy and the plumbing technician Colin for their professionalism and kindness. Will use them again if needed.

I called at 9:40 a.m. on a Friday morning and by 12:40 p.m. I had a new water heater installed. Very fast and efficient. Was not as expensive as I was expecting based on average price range for water heater replacement in Phoenix. My technician was Tom and he wasn't preachy or condescending. He explained the issue, my options and got the job done. It was the ideal home service experience.

Pilot light light didn't stay lit. After numerous calls to Rheem and no satisfaction I contacted Maloney. Israel will be coming back as I needed more parts. (pilot light area). He is knowledgeable and helped with the customer service to get the parts we needed. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Today, 1/28 Jason came to install another part needed. I rarely, if ever, write reviews, especially negative ones. After googling for who could help me service and/or remove a water softener system, I found this company and the majority of reviews were positive. My system had a constant leak which was obviously time sensitive. I called and the person who answered the phone wasn't sure if I was in their service area (which shocked me since I have a very central zip code only about 10 miles from their place of business) and put me on hold to check. There was confusion and she came back on once or twice thinking I was someone else and was just kinda rude during this. Then I was disconnected. I wasn't upset, things happen, NBD. I called back and got VM several times. Then I got someone who seemed to be the owner and she was nice and apologetic and took all my info and said she was going to have the person who answers their phones call me "right back, ASAP". This was after we talked about my issue and I had expressed concern for the time sensitivity. 35 minutes later I hadn't heard back. I called back and explained I'd been waiting for my call back and the lady just said "Oh, yeah, you. If you have an emergency you need to call someone else". I had never said it was an emergency and I then explained that it wasn't an emergency BUT it WAS time sensitive. The only way she would have known about this from the owner who I talked to and I would think that BECAUSE they THOUGHT it was an emergency, they'd call me back to tell me that info instead of making me wait when they took my info and promised to call back. Keep in mind my original call to them was at 3:30pm on a Tuesday so during regular business hours and the call back was at 4pm. She said she needed to put me back on hold but I'd be the next caller. I was disconnected again. Keep in mind, the business owner had taken my information so they had my name and PHONE NUMBER. But she never called back. I obviously scheduled my service call with another company. I don't know who monitors these reviews but I feel strongly that the owner of the company should know that whoever is answering their phones is behaving this way. Not only did they lose my business but I work full time in the real estate industry and constantly have current and past clients asking for vendor referrals for home repairs so there's a lost opportunity there too. And many also ask my opinion of certain companies if I have experience with them. Needless to say, I would be very honest about my experience if ever asked. I am very disappointed and turned off by this entire experience.

I had a water leak on a Sunday at my rental, and Maloney Plumbing sent Jason out that very day to diagnose it before it became a bigger problem. Jason was very thorough, took pictures and videos, and explained to me how and what he found. I had a lot of questions, and Jason patiently answered them.

Jason replaced our kitchen faucet spray head, cut down the vent hose on our dryer, and replaced a hose bib. His work was excellent, and he was incredibly pleasant and professional. He gets an A++ for customer service!

Cost me $800 including parts and labor to have brand new Rheem hot water heater installed 1 year ago. Couldn't do my annual flush was clogged wanted to charge me $900 to fix not including new hot water heater. Rip off never call again. Will tell everybodyTried to upsell me everything but the kitchen sink. Still charged me $60 for service call even though they charge $59 for hot water heater service was not performed.

The crack was at the valve body. It was discovered after I had done everything to stop the leak, working on it for several days, replacing seats, etc. Joe finished the job in record time by replacing the valve, but did not inform me that clean up (sweeping up after cutting thru the sheetrock) would be charged sepateately ($150.00!).

Israel was very professional and provided great service. Seemed like a real straight-shooter and charged us a fair amount for the work he did. Most importantly, the work was done right!

I have dealt with approximately 4 of Maloney's plumbers, and each is very experienced, friendly and professional. I plan on using Maloney in the future for my plumbing needs. Maloney Plumbing is very responsive.

We had a traumatic living room ceiling collapse due to a burst in our main water pipe in the attic. We live in Phoenix so in June, the attic is extremely hot. I called Maloney Plumbing out of the blue, mainly because of the great reviews online. They sent their attic specialist, Jason, early the next morning. Jason and his associate (sorry, I didn't get his name) were prompt, wonderful, personable, patient, and helped us feel at ease at this difficult time. Jason is a Marine veteran like my husband so there was a type of bond there I felt. It was a big job, it was hot and messy, and neither one of them ever got rattled or impatient. They replaced the pipe along with the main shut-off valve outside in front of our house and he threw in a shut-off valve under one of our toilets which was leaking. They tacked a drop cloth I had up over the hole in the ceiling and they even scooped up all the wet drywall that had collapsed on the living room floor and took it away which was above and beyond. The water mitigation company that came shortly after they left was surprised to see that done. I was so impressed with them both. They worked so hard and had to go to another job after us. As far as price, I've never had something like this happen so I have nothing to compare it to and, of course, quality plumbers aren't cheap, but Jason gave us a Veteran and Senior discount of several hundred dollars which was such a relief. I cannot say enough good things. I highly recommend Jason and this locally family owned company!

We had a water heater go out on us last year. Colin came out to save us. He did not try to over sell us. He put up with a lot of questions and did not pressure us with anything. We liked him so much we asked him to return to fix another problem and then another. Request him every time. He’s personable and patient and never judges us. We are grateful to have someone we trust with our plumbing issues. Plumbing is not cheap but we know the work is done well. If we had any problems, it was fixed asap.

The dispatcher called to see if Tom could come early. He listened to our description of the issue and was very efficient yet methodical in confirming and then fixing it. He had all of the necessary parts in his truck's even though the issue was somewhat unusual.

We called Maloney Plumbing out to our place of business, Sun Valley Masonry, to repair a urinal that other plumbing companies were unable to do. Maloney is our new favorite “Go To” plumber! Jason did a great job on the installation of our water softener and carbon filtration unit. After a week of letting the water softener do it's thing, we've been happy with the results. After experiencing our 3rd leak, we decided to replace the plumbing under our sink. Our plumbing project was completed by Jason, and by the looks of it, it appears to be a real quality job. Time will tell.The reason for 4-stars and not 5 is due to the disconnect in the appointment setting. I am not certain if there is a personal issue between personnel (Kerwin and Jason), but in our case there was a lack of inter-office communication, which was just a bit irritating for us to manage. Get your office poop in a group and let the work shine through!UPDATE 7/2018: Project still holding up great!

Maloney is the BEST!. We had a leaky kitchen faucet. They recommended we go to Arizona Central Supply to pick out a new one. ACS was awesome. Maloney was able to schedule the follow up the following day. They were on time, professional and super quick. Highly recommend them!

Just experienced the dreaded water heater failure with water going everywhere in the house. Ultimately had to shut all water off as the valve at the heater had failed. We have used Maloney for a variety of plumbing issues, Kitty is always responsive with any concerns we have. Our tech, Jesse, is great at explaining the diagnosis as well as what he does to correct it.They always take care to keep their work area clean, and I'm never left with a mess after it's completed. I know anytime I have a plumbing issue, which happens with older houses, they will get it fix in a timely manner.

It was a complex situation, based on where the original line was located, and the amount of slope needed for the drain. When my water heater exploded at 10:30PM, I was very impressed with the service I received from Kitty. Omar was at my house within 45 minutes to stop the flow of water and get it taken care of until he could install the new water heater in the morning. Maloney is one of the best plumbing companies I've used and I will always be calling them for future jobs. Omar was polite, responsive, knowledgeable, and very professional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Eric came out ultimately the price was a little higher then I could afford for the job. But he was professional and on time. The correspondence from the company was quick and they were very responsive. We didn't use them this time but will keep them in mind for future projects.

I called Maloney plumbing to replace a six year old water heater that they had installed. they came out promptly and told me it was not under warranty as the couplers failed but not the tank (their prior installation). They then quoted me $5,000 to replace a 50 gallon direct vent gas water heater. I turned them down and had 3 other quotes for the exact same water heater and installation for $2800-$3000.The water heater costs $1750 to buy retail. hard to justify $3250 for a few hours of work installing it. this is price gouging at new heights.Installed the following morning without problems.drive past Maloney unless you want to give your money away...

My tankless water heater was leaking so I called Maloney. I can’t say enough about the entire process. Our tech Jesse was very professional and even helped get my parts warranted. Don’t hesitate to call, these guys are legit.

Our 64-year-old house had consistent drainage issues. We kept it at bay with enzymes and plungers but feared the worst and had the issue looked at more than once. One large plumbing company employee had suggested we needed full re-piping to the tune of $15K; another plumber from the same company said we should get hydro-jetted to the tune of $1K or more. I called Maloney’s for a hydro-jetting assessment; advertised as a $60 fee. The pleasant and knowledgeable woman who answered the phone suggested we may not need hydro-jetting after all; their plumber would assess the situation and advise. Jesse ended up snaking two of our drains to 75 feet out and all problems solved for well under $500. Yes, I probably could have kept calling around and found a company to do it for a bit less, but I didn’t want to. I was very comfortable with Jesse’s knowledge and honest assessment of our needs. There was no upsell and a genuine effort to save us money. He explained every step and his reasoning, and offered up helpful hints to keep our drains flowing. I like supporting local independent businesses and Maloney’s has proven worthy of that support.

Called them yesterday and had them give me a quote for a leaking pipe. They charged half of what another local plumber quoted. Called today to set up the service and they had a guy out to me within a couple hours (it was raining pretty good). Took the guy like 30 minutes to finish the job. I will say I thought it would be cheaper as the guy finished very quickly but they stuck with the quote so I can't complain. I would definitely recommend and will be using them for any further repairs.

While out of town, our water heater ruptured. I called Maloney to replace the unit so we would have hot water upon our return. We were not aware of the extensive damage until Maloney arrived and advised us by phone that we should first contact our insurance carrier and retain a restoration service to minimize any further impact from the event.Despite our many delays (waiting for a restoration service decision, waiting for mitigation operations, waiting for an insurance adjuster and then waiting on repairs) Maloney remained at the ready so we could get hot water at our earliest opportunity and at no additional cost. They are pros and you should give them a call.

As always, Maloney Plumbing was excellent. Jack was my repair person today, he located my shower leak and fixed it quickly. I called Maloney a week ago for a drain stoppage after finding they were advertising an extremely low price for the service I was looking for. They were my first phone call. After speaking to Kitty and a plumber on the phone, I was informed that low advertised price was a mistake and shouldn’t have been on Maloney’s website. I said thanks for the info, but I would educate myself further and make a few other calls.About 20 minutes later, Kitty out of the blue called me back. She informed me that was Maloney’s mistake having the incorrect advertised price, and that they would come out and repair/fix the stoppage for that advertised price. I was blown away.This drain stoppage in my house was pretty bad. Maloney’s had 2 plumbers at my Chandler home (coming all the way from Central PHX) to fix this issue. It took them about 3-4 hours to fix. Kitty herself even made the drive down to check on her employees and make sure the issue was resolved in my home. And after the drain stoppage was fixed, the amount I was charged was the original amount that was advertised on the website.I couldn’t have been more impressed with the levels of integrity, professionalism, customer service, and quality of workmanship of Maloney. I would recommend them to anyone.

I’m not sure if it was an employee or the owner (my hands had olive oil on them from prepping dinner so I was rushed) but a gentleman just hand delivered the $100 refund check and a box of See’s Candy. Very nice touch. Changed my rating from 1 to 5 because this company heard our feedback and didn’t brush it off.Does it change our experience? No. BUT it does make me believe that our experience isn’t the norm, which I had a feeling anyhow based on prior reviews that led us to use this company in the first place.Final feedback is that the check was made out to my husband. It was actually my card that was used to pay for the repair - the wife. Probably unintentional, but remember that progressive customer service approaches, like asking who the check should be made out to, are noticed and appreciated. Not everyone banks jointly, and not all husbands make more than the wife ?********************************************************The gentleman was punctual, friendly and fast but there was ZERO dust mitigation.I’d hope that plastic would have been hung or laid down, I spent a good hour cleaning up the entire bathroom afterwards. EVERY inch was covered in dust and grime.**Edit 1: My husband came home and checked the work after I paid, there isn’t any caulking around the plate and the shower head is loose. He’s calling them now.It sucks leaving this kind of review because the guy was nice. But this was $1000.00 repair and it wasn’t done properly.I’ll update if they come fix it.**Edit 2:Called and the guy came back but tried blaming ME, by saying, “ But your wife said everything looked ok “Mind blown. Colin is amazing! Our drain lines were backing up into the bathtubs. Maloney's came out initially but couldn't reach the block as we had no cleanout (at least we didn't know we did, even after 25 years in the house). They didn't charge for the initial call. Called a "rooter" place and they couldn't get it either (did have to pay for the service call to them). Called Maloney that evening to schedule a cleanout install ASAP. Colin was back first thing in the morning. After some digging, he discovered I did have a cleanout but it was almost 2 feet underground. Found the block, cleared the line and extended the cleanout. Great service and very responsive.

Eric was terrifically nice, efficient and conscientiousness to our special needs. This company responds quickly; sends you confirmations and reminders of appointments; and is gracious. While we really don't want to see them too soon -- haha -- we will definitely call them when we're next in need!

When I called fairly late on the Saturday afternoon before Christmas(!!), they sent a miracle worker. Both the kitchen and the laundry sink drains were clogged tight, and frankly, I figured I'd end up waiting at least till Monday to get those fixed. But hallelujah! Here came a guy on a white charger -- well, a Maloney's truck, anyway -- who spent half the afternoon doing battle with 15 years' worth of grease and dog hair and heaven only knows what else. He thoroughly cleaned out the drains and even let me watch what he was doing, explaining some of the issues as he worked. Both the kitchen & the laundry drains are now working like new, and I'll be able to fix Christmas dinner here after all. Maloney's: long may they thrive!!

Fast service, Bryan (Plumber) was an honest expert in his field. Great advice and fast work. Took a star off because the customer service rep decided not to disclose baseline charges upfront. It makes the exchange feel like bait and switch. Overall the cost was reasonable which makes the customer service rep's communications seem unnecessary.

Called this company to get some pricing information so I could make a good choice in picking a plumber….however, the reception on the phone was absolutely horrendous! They obviously do not want to have work for their plumbers when they speak to customers on the phone the way they do! I do not recommend this company for anyone! This is one of those businesses I wish I could give more than 5 stars to… I’ve used them a couple times now and can’t say enough good things… First of all it’s a family owned, high integrity business. Their pricing is affordable, plumbers were punctual and respectful and pretty clean cut guys. Give these guys a shot for all your plumbing needs, you won’t be disappointed.

Jason did a very good job replacing a leaky valve on our outdoor fountain. I would absolutely use him again.

I had previously (several years ago) used WJ Maloney for some plumbing work and they were reasonable then. When I had them come quote me for a new shutoff valve for my house, they quoted over $1000. I called another plumber (Quail Plumbing) that is doing it for less than $200. For the pleasure of Maloney's 5x normal cost quote they are charging me $49 for a service call. In comparison Quail gave me a quoted range over the phone with no hassle and no service charge.

Plummer came by look at the drain gave me an idea what the value to unplug-in very professional and answered all my questions explain why the showers won’t drain price ?seems a little high ?? but he explain he gave me a discount drain was fixed and you have to pay to run a business so I understand I gave Carlos 100% professionalism and knowledge understanding what he’s doing . Those 45 buck fix I stay away you have to pay ? A good company have to charge to keep the company going ?He gave me a 10 day guarantee to drain . Vary happy with Carlos

Adrian worked quickly and made sure all the details were taken care of with a clogged drain pipe, and the worksite was clean and properly arranged when he was finished. The price was less than we were expecting, and Adrian consulted with us and offered tips on the best way to set up a future job.

Save your money and do not call this place. They do not even deserve 1 star. They charged 99.00 dollars to come out and wanted to charge another 1400.00 for a shut off valve replacement and outside faucet. We called faucet doctor and they did the entire job for 229.00. Do not let this company scam you!!!!!! We work hard for our money and companies like this do not deserve to be in business! The manager called us after the review. He apologized and gave us a refund of 99.00.

Union company so you will be over charged to pay off union fat cats! Kitty expects every tech to bring in $25k per month! The tech's are trained to make you feel good getting over charged, kitty pays A LOT of $ for this training when management IS the problem.
