Please note, I have waited about a month since the service, just to make sure the review was not driven by emotions. Initially I was really impressed -- sure they charged me $40 to come out and give an estimate, but felt like they understood the job. Many things were done right. A couple of things were not -- resulting in me (the homeowner) having to break apart the newly set concrete to compensate for an incorrectly installed shower drain. Then, after the tile guy pointed out that the shower valve protruded too far, I had to rip apart the drywall and reset the unit. Ironically, this was the first time I ever hired a plumber (usually do these things myself), but life was busy and I did not have time for this. For the record, I did contact Moon Valley when the issue involving the drywall was noticed and a guy named George seemed mildly interested, but this was not an "emergency" so there was nothing he could do. This was frustrating, but where it got worse was when their customer service person, Sharon M., called me/sent emails, there was no apparent sense of apology, just a great deal of defensiveness. Sure, my tile project would have been put on hold for who knows how long if I did not fix the problems -- but when I reported it, it was not an "emergency" so she did not see what the big deal was about. She stated that I did not give them a chance to fix it -- which is not true -- I contacted them immediately and spoke to George. I think what she meant is that I should have been willing to wait for days for them to get around to stopping by. For the record, no discount was ever offered for my hassles. Ironically, I liked the plumber and despite the issues, that was not was bothered me...we all make mistakes. It was the way Sharon, on behalf of Moon Valley, handled the situation that left me never wanting to do business with Moon Valley again. Their prices are higher than an independent plumber (my experience) -- apparently what you are paying for is "the service".

We had a bad water leak and placed a service call this morning. Roger Armstrong from Ben Franklin Plumbing responded and he was terrific! He helped with a number of issues, some of which were challenging because our home is almost 40 years old. He worked hard all day addressing our plumbing issues and did an excellent job! Most importantly, he’s a great guy who truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend Roger and Ben Franklin For any of your plumbing needs.

Arrived within the time stated and did an excellent job in diagnosing and solving the plumbing problem. The tech was clean and courteous.

Simon and his brother, Alex, came out today to repair our shower valve and replace our kitchen faucet. They were prompt, and very professional. Simon showed me what was wrong with our shower valve and why he used the particular replacement part he chose. I really appreciated that. I have a better understanding of what we have and why it is worth keeping and simply repairing it (rather than replacing it). I have had another plumber in the past, but he was too busy to come out. Simon was busy too, but got us onto his schedule quickly. I was impressed with his attention to detail and care for our job. I recommend Simon without hesitation.

I got stuck with these guys thanks to a home warranty and the whole experience was awful. They still charged me like $400 for water heater adjustments and installation even though the water heater was covered by the home warranty (for $30 worth of pipe and moving the flume). They also sent a water damage specialist to give me an estimate who said I had $3k worth of damage. I called my licensed contractor father for a second opinion and he did the necessary repairs for $40 worth of supplies. Not to mention the fact that out water pressure immediately died after they installed the new unit and they refused to take responsibility and told me I had to open another ticket with my home warranty. Everything about working with this company was utter garbage

I used them to correct a problem from a previous company and they were able to fix the problem and provide information to dispute the other company's false claim. Very knowledgeable and very professional and I would not hesitate recommending them to anybody for any plumbing work needed.

Frisco came out to our house to install a new elbow for our HVAC unit. He did a fantastic job and was extremely professional and provided clear and honest information about our system. Without a doubt, the best plumbing company I’ve ever used. James, the owner, is a class act and a true professional! He diagnoses the problem and then explains it in lay terms. He’s honest, straightforward and lays it all out and doesn’t candy coat anything. He gave us comfort and peace of mind when we were freaking out and worried about our major under-slab leak. He took the time to explain the problem and his course of correction of it and he was kind and compassionate to my wife who was very worried about the problem. And of course, he corrected the problem to perfection. He will completely exceed your expectations. Another HUGE quality about James and his company is that somehow he can manage to schedule you in to take care of your problem almost immediately. I would recommend James and his company for any plumbing work over any other plumbing company.

I have worked with Valleywide Plumbing for the last 2 years. I have used them to fix issues with our plumbing in the bathrooms for our company. They have always responded in a timely manner & give me an eta on their arrival. They respond quickly usually out the same day depending on when the issue is reported but at least out the next day. I've worked with Patrick every time and he is always pleasant and very customer service focused. Good at evaluating what the problem is, offers solutions & recommendations to correct the problem. If parts need to be ordered, I receive a phone call immediately to give me an update.

Last year, we had a minor flood issue in the building from a tube that broke off the toilet over night. We called Valleywide Plumbing, Patrick came out immediately, fixed the problem with replacement tubing and took the initiative to locate & contact a water restoration company for me to start drying out the water damage.

We bought our ac from these guys 5 years ago so thought we would get an estimate on a water softener. We were shocked to receive an estimate of 3200.-6600. (this did include one toilet replacement. I don't think so!! Also charged a trip charge-oh wait- forgot to add the tax on that.Since when do trip charges include a tax? And wait- can I get some ID on that check? Really,on a check we write from our own home and have a history with this company.??? So verydisappointed! Will NEVER purchase from your company again!
