Best Water Main Repair in Austin TX

I had a potential small gas leak in a hose to my HVAC. This had me worried but as I called around to find a plumbing company, most were unavailable to schedule for 4 days. When I explained my situation to these good folks, they immediately transferred me to talk with someone to help me evaluate the urgency. They got me in the next morning. The plumber thoroughly evaluated the system but did not find a leak. After all of this, they were not even going to charge me a service call fee. I decided to have them replace the old hoses just to be safe. They did so on the spot. I am so grateful to this whole team for caring enough to slow down in a busy time and really listen, then efficiently and professionally finish the job! From my initial call, to speaking with dispatch, and finally my experience with the plumber…this is a company that knows what customer service is about… and they understand basic human kindness. I highly recommend them.

Came out and replaced a sewer pipe that had a cracked joint. Very professional and would recommend to anyone needing help.

They are organized in arrangeing the schedule. However, the fee for replaceing a faucet is much much higher than I thought, which is about $450. I am not sure whether I was overcharged, but I feel it's quite expensive for a less than 1 hour work.

Quote was $350 -$470 (without/with parts) to remove and check a tub faucet which would take him 30-60 minutes based on his estimate. I declined the service based on pricing. I called Mr. Rooter in order to get a quote for a cleanout break in my yard. They scheduled the appointment, and then notified me that they were on the way. I feel as though they were honest, prices reasonable, and workers professional. Do yourself a favor and give them a call, they do quality work.

My water main broke and my water had to be shut off, which was a drag. Nathan and his crew went above and beyond the call to get my water main replaced. There was a scheduling issue with their regular digging crew. So, they rented the equipment and did the digging themselves. I could not be more pleased with how quickly they got the job done and my water back on!

The salesman was only interested in billing my insurance company as much as he could for mitigation and Roto-Rooter didn't even offer restoration repair services or a plumber and I only actually called them for a plumber.

Absolutely amazing! Service was fast, the pricing was fair and the technicians made an absolutely horrible experience bearable. I will forever be a client and recommend to any and everyone I know.

They said they'd be able to do the work over the phone, and we agreed to not only the trip charge, but an additional 'extended area' cost just for the guy to come out, look at the tub and say 'yeah, we don't do that you need a contractor' and then charge us the money. 200 bucks later, we still have our tub's soft spots and a lighter wallet. Really Really wouldn't recommend to a friend, maybe you'll have better luck. I wish I had.And no, mr. owner, don't @me. You can't make this right with more work.

I would not recommend 1st Home & Commercial Services. They charged me $927 to fix a leak. Dug a hole 4ft x 12in x 18 in and replaced a one inch pipe about 18 inches long. It is my fault for approving this job. I should have sent them away when they told me it would be$500 to locate leak. Next time I will get several estimates.

Fantastic! Professional, honest, timely service

We first called Johnny Rooter when our sewer backed up at 4pm on Christmas Eve with family staying at the house, and they had it fixed by shortly after 7pm. And there wasn't even an extra charge. We've used them several times since then for various plumbing issues, and the staff is always efficient and easy to work with.
