Contacted Weilhammer early on a Thursday to inquire about replacing a water heater at a residence. The removal and installation was coordinated immediately and within four hours the unit was successfully installed by Dan. I couldn't have dared to hope to have had the work performed this quickly, much less this professionally. This is a great local business!

I contacted Acme Plumbing for a hot water heater replacement. They arrived at 3:30 and finished approx 11:30PM. They stated that I needed to replace 2 other items to be up to code. I agreed to do this. Within the first 30 days, they have been out a total of 5 times repairing, replacing and tighting. I have had water leaking 2 times, The pressure tank that was installed is defective and now they are saying maybe the water company needs to replace the meter also? ALL of this for a water heater. They have showed up when they state, just not to sure about the quality of the work. 4/25/2019 update. no responds from acme plumbing and I now have even more water leaking from where they installed the pressure gauges . I have another company coming out to fix this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I recently had a gas dryer installed at my mom’s house. Unfortunately, we smelled gas after the installation while we were moving my mom’s things into her new house. I chose to call Mr. Plumber because I noticed a lot of positive reviews from my neighbors online. I’m glad that I did. Everything met and exceeded my expectations from the ease of setting up my appointment to having Austin, quickly assessing my problem, giving me options and executing the repair that we definitely needed. I preferred to have a reliable professional fix the issue rather than bring the previous installers back out to play guessing games. Austin was awesome! I will be using Mr. Plumber again.

We purchased our furnace and air conditioner from Summers and are pleased with the units and their maintenance service. Would recommend.

We have used Godby for a few years and have been pleased. Kenny has been our technician multiple times, and has been great. Professional, friendly, and good at explaining the work to be done.

Excellent work, incredibly reasonable pricing, and very responsive. Casey rebuilt 3 toilets (one of which included a full pull and reset) and rebuilt 2 aging shower faucet assemblies. I especially appreciated the time he spent sourcing the necessary parts for the old shower fixtures so we didn't have to do a costly replacement. I am relatively new to home ownership, and this was the first major plumbing work I needed to have done. Moon Family Plumbing will definitely be my go-to company for any plumbing needs moving forward.

I had a problem with my electric water heater and also wanted to add a mixing valve to get more effective capacity from the 50-gal tank. Doug at the office was very clear about the options. We decided to replace the tank and add the mix valve rather than repairing the old unit. Dontril was punctual, friendly and competent. Those are things I value more than the lowest price. You can probably find a cheaper quote, but I think it was a fair price and I will not worry about the work.

I thoughts Mr. Plumber would right a wrong, but I was mistaken.We've used Mr. Plumber for years for general maintenance, and usually the techs are high quality, but recently had an old leaking 2nd story shower we asked them to take a look at. I told the plumber I suspected it was faulty grout issue but just wanted to make sure. Seemingly in a hurry, he was insistent it had to be the shower hardware behind the wall, which he could fix for $1200. I deferred to his expertise and all that money later, we had the same exact leak that same day. I was able to stop the leak days later simply with more caulk. He also quoted me on another repair and when his manager came out he said that repair couldn't even be done. I was told this was one of their more experienced plumbers. After sharing our dissatisfaction, they only quoted us more work at a discount or offered a $200 refund. We took the refund, but they could never provide any proof that the $1200 fix was necessary, no proof that there was any reason to believe that was the source of the leak. I had another plumber from another company out for a second opinion and he said 8/10 times the type of leak I had is a grout issue. So, my wife who was present for all of this, and I feel cheated out of $1000 and now there's holes in the ceiling and wall we're left to deal with as well.

This was more important than his customers.I'll never recommend this company again

In February we had our fireplace on and we smelled gas so we turned off the fireplace and called Mansfield Plumbing (since they were recommended by Godby and that is who installed our fireplace).

On March 3rd, Dalton from Mansfield Plumbing came to the house and tightened 2 nuts inside the fireplace (near where the gas line came into the fireplace). He never checked anything else – not inside or outside, nor did he turn the gas on to check it. He was in our house for a maximum of 5 minutes (no joke). We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $205 from them.

We did not turn on the gas fireplace again for a week or so and still smelled gas, so we called them again. Dalton returned and did some crazy, funky stuff outside. He assumed the gas smell was coming from the key insertion into the house, so he wanted to replace the connector outside. (Keep in mind that was why we originally called them and paid the $200 on March 3rd.) When he replaced the connector he moved it further away from the house (a good 12+ inches). He then came in and told us our key that turns on the fireplace no longer works that WE would have to go find/buy a 12-inch key AND a 12-in extender to be able to reach the new connector to be able to turn on the fireplace?? In the mean time he was going to just turn off the gas, so basically he never tested this new connector to see if it even worked correctly because we had no key to turn it on….. We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $548 from them.

We then went to another plumbing store and bought a key and connector and SURPRISE – it did not work, so we had to call them again….. Another man came to the house (Richard) and now had to redo everything that Dalton did, and move the gas line and connector closer to the house so a normal 12-inch key will reach the turn value without the extender. To fix this problem he also had to replace the pipe coming into our house and made the hole a lot bigger…. Now that it is April, however, we can’t really check the fireplace to see if it works, but at least a key will turn it on…

Now, however, because he had to make the hole where the pipe comes into our house bigger we have to know have (another company) come out and try to fix the gush of air that is now constantly coming into our house from either the pipe or around the pipe and fix the tacky calk that is piled around the pipe on the outside of our house on the brick (tacky)……

We were promised they would “reevaluate” our bills and make it right with us, but that is not true. They made us pay all the originally bills. Bottom line this company got $753 from us and did a TERRIBLE job, and now we have to find someone to come and stop the cold air coming into our house by the pipe and fix the tacky patch job they did around the pipe on the outside of the house on the brick. (Have a picture of this.) So be ware and be prepared to pay a lot of money and probably not have it done correctly.
