Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical

Kenny came out to our house yesterday and was able to get our A/C unit stood up on it's last legs for the rest of the summer. He helped me avoid what could have been a $1200+ repair. He spent nearly all day at our home getting the problem solved, Godby waived the labor and refunded me for an unnecessary A/C recharge I had received from another technician two months prior. Kenny also was able to seal up the vent where the previous homeowner had a humidifier that was no longer functional when we purchased the house. Stephanie was also great with making sure everything got scheduled and that my concerns were addressed. Happy to have a habitable home for the first time this summer. :)

My experience with Godby was better than I expected...from speaking with Lexy who answered my call to the two technicians who showed up on time. Lexy made me feel comfortable in moving forward with positivity. The techs, both Tyree and Chris (trainee,), were both polite, neat in appearance, and very professional. They were also very respectful of my requests to wear a mask and protective covers over their shoes. Tyree's diagnosis was quick and painless as he explained to me the problem with my furnace. I appreciated his honesty because it was an easy fix and in today's business industry, it is sometimes hard to find people who treat you fairly. If they continue in their pursuit to conduct business in this manner, they have just gained a new customer for the long-term.

Customer service reps are amazing ladies and got me scheduled very quickly for our regular maintenance. When our furnace completely stopped working had a rep out in just a few short hours. He was very knowledgeable, kind, respectful, and honest on things he would recommend. Would recommend them to anyone.

Tino went above and beyond to install an outlet in our laundry closet. Our building’s wiring is not the easiest to figure out, but he did an excellent job. The folks in the office were very nice, and they sent us texts and called to let us know who was coming and when.

Godby has Lexi she is a professional in customer relations & Tyree knows HVAC units. Both were invaluable to me when I was told by another company I dealt with for 8 years along with rest of my family my unit needs a new heat exchanger - my unit is only 8 yrs old they did the install. Needless to say I will no longer be using them. Godby is my new maintenance HVAC company. I am very pleased.

The service was per our annual contract for A/C preventive maintenance and recalibrating of our thermostat. The service person was personable and attentive to the service needs. He seemed a little slow in his work. One of the switches was not turned back on so a second service had to come out to see why our A/C was not working and immediately solved the problem. Excellent service. A competing company told me a repair would
need new parts and cost $3500. Adam diagnosed the issue and corrected it for a nominal service charge. Stephanie in scheduling was also excellent, prompt, and accessible.

Godly has installed a water heater, water softener and has maintained and done repairs on my HVAC. Everyone there have been great to work with and really happy with the work.

Be advised they charge a hefty fee for coming out and giving an estimate - mine was $375 - just for them to tell me how much they'll charge me to fix the problem. Don't worry about calling the office to see if any of the fee could be waived - they won't - they've always done it that way.

I have worked with Godby HPE for quite a while and had them out again today for my furnace and ac inspection. All is well, not upselling and very courteous and professional. Will continue to use Godby for all my heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical services.

This company is total scam! We were coerced into paying 200 dollars for NOT removing the scale in our water heater.
We contacted them for scale removal because our water heater was making loud noises and they said they could fix it but when they arrived we were told there’s nothing they can do because “the noise totally normal” and lime scale cannot be removed, but since they are already here we still have to pay the 200 dollars we “agreed upon”.
As a immigrant family who just moved to the United States we feel totally taken advantage of. What we agreed to pay for was a scale removal service but this whole situation just turned out to be a scam. We have given all the information to them beforehand, if it is clear that it couldn’t be done in the first place then they should have told us instead of coming here and ask us to pay for something they didn’t do.

They were courteous and on time. They got the job done in exactly the amount of time they said. The price was less expensive than others I checked on.

We call on Godby for all of our heating and plumbing needs. They are always professional, thorough, on time, and they do great work and stand behind it. They installed our heating and air conditioning systems and maintain them semi-annually, and they have also solved plumbing issues for us and given us excellent advice and recommendations when the issue is better solved by another company. They text a photo and info about the service member on his or her way to the house, and the service member calls us to tell us as well. There is even a map tracking feature so that we can see how far away the person is and how much time we have until he or she arrives. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, there is a personal touch to doing business with them that we really appreciate, from both the service members who come to the house and from Stephanie, the friendly receptionist.

Deb and I have had many contractors in our home over the past 2 years and I have to say that by far Godby has been the best. From the initial phone call to set up an estimate appointment to the final installation. Duwayne was great, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened and explained everything very well and on layman's level. He was patient and had no problem revising our quote 3 times until we were happy with what we wanted. Your installers, Joe and Adam are awesome!!! They were here early and asked me several questions of how I wanted certain things and then did exactly as I requested.
We look forward to our ongoing relationship and you now will even get any plumbing business we need.

Godby replaced my heat pump and air handler. They were able to provide a good, quality system from a highly reputable brand at a competitive price. They installed the system within 48 hours of approval, and completed their work within a normal work day. They fully explained and reviewed their work with me upon completion. Overall they did an excellent job.

Very professional and helpful. We thought we needed a dryer fan booster because we kept getting air flow errors after another company came out to clean our dryer vents. The Godby service man Kenny got up in our hot attic and said that should not be necessary with the distance of the line and said it was probably still clogged at the point of exit on our very steep roof (which Other company employee refused to get on). The Godby rep climbed on our roof took the cap off and found a bunch of lint jammed right there which obviously solved our problem. The rep was very reasonable about how he coded and charged us for this service. Highly recommend!!!!

Tyree was very professional and explained exactly what the problem was and how much it would cost. He took the time to show me his work and the parts that were defective.

Kenny and his partner did an amazing job! They not only swept the water that leaked around my leaky old hot water heater but every inch of my garage floor, including all of the sycamore leaves that had blown in this fall that I had been too lazy to sweep away myself! We were very impressed with the work of Gary and his apprentice. They were able to do a diagnosis quickly and made the appropriate repairs. They both were also very personable, which made the bill a little less painful.

Really excellent service from the time I made the initial call for help through the service inspection. Erin arranged an appointment for the time that fit into my schedule. The service men carefully explained what they found, showed me the problem and assured me it can be repaired quickly. I am waiting for the estimate but, if they continue the way they have started then, it's Gotta Be Godby going forward.

Gary and Jay were fast and totally professional. We needed to have a broken water softener drained and removed, but we ended up being given the runaround by a different plumbing company in the area that kept pawning us off on a remediation specialist which, as we explained, we knew we didn’t need. When, after the remediation specialist came and assessed the situation (which felt more like an infomercial pitch for $10,000+ worth of unnecessary work), we finally were “allowed” to schedule a time for the plumber to come and do the work, we were essentially told it would be an “assessment only.” We went ahead and scheduled the assessment, but the plumber bumped us to an unspecified time. (We proceeded to “fire” him.) Godby/Gary/Jay didn’t pull ANY of these shenanigans. They simply came when expected (even accommodating our schedule!) and took care of the problem while also providing useful info about what to do moving forward. (Also, unlike the other plumbing company, they didn’t try to sell us a new water softener. This was very much appreciated!) I would highly recommend Godby and Gary/Jay to anyone looking for fast and professional plunging service. (I understand Godby provides other services, but I can’t speak to that other than to say that I have no doubt that the professionalism would remain high regardless of the service provided.)

Joe, Kenny and Adam provided excellent service in the installation of my new Trane furnace, air conditioner and thermostat. I appreciated their expertise and professionalism. I have been a devoted Godby customer for almost 20 years and look forward to continuing my relationship with them!

Tino and Jorge were great. They fixed an electrical issue we have been trying to get resolved that plagued two other companies. We also now have a working exhaust fan that hasn’t worked in years. I’m very happy with their services.

These guys are great they fixed our heat and AC to a huge building (about half an Amazon) in one day. Amazing !

The service was very good and quick, However, it was very expensive to replace an outside water spigot. Probably a $75 part at most and $700 for an hours labor even after 10% off. Will definitely be shopping around before using again.

After remodeling there was an electrical problem with one of my circuits. They troubleshoot the problem and came up with a great solution. Problem solved thank goodness.
I had them back to upgrade from 100 amp to 200 amp excellent job. Good price.

Godby is a great company to work with, pricing is fair and services is quick. We just had our winter maintenance on our furnaces and Dan was our service technician that come out. He went though everything thoroughly and did a great job! I would ask for him whenever you get a chance. He was polite, clean, organized, and informative.

I was having problems with my whole house humidifier. Tyree took a look at everything, made a couple of adjustments and then made sure it was working properly. He also gave me some helpful tips on extending the life of the humidifier and things to keep an eye on. He was great! I’ve been very happy with Godby with the various services that they’ve done for me.

Godby was able to get me an appointment within 24 hours when my A/C went out this summer. Tyree called ahead and spoke with me to get some background information before arrival and arrived within 10 minutes afterwards. He was very professional and friendly and took the time to talk me through the issue and confirm the fix was working before leaving.

Godby replaced my 20+ year old furnace and A/C with new and efficient Trane components, along with a smart thermostat. From sales consultant Duwayne to installers Joe and Luke, everyone was pleasant to interact with. We ran into a small problem during the installation which could not have been foreseen, but it was resolved quickly to my satisfaction. The new system has only been running for about an hour, but I have high hopes.

The girls in the office that scheduled the service were so friendly and helpful! The guys that came out to install our lights went to Lowes for us to pick up light blubs because we forgot to get them prior to them coming. They were very friendly and very quick! I would definitely use Godby again and refer their services to anyone looking.

Our HVAC system was ailing and Godby did a fantastic job from top to bottom. They diagnosed that it needed to be replaced (not repaired), were clear about our options in terms of size / SEER, and were generally excellent in terms of customer service. Their price was more than reasonable - actually the lowest bid we received on the job. Install was professional, quick, thoughtful with regards to our family's space and time. The unit works incredibly well, and the follow-up customer service has been excellent as well. Highly recommend Godby.

We have been a customer of Godby for probably over 10 years. We are on their Club Godby. I'll say they have very good service however, I called to have them look at a couple of things. There is a $99 service call which is fine. We needed a frost free outside spigot repaired and Gary the technician (who has been here before and is a nice guy) gave me the estimate to replace one outside faucet (spigot) and I was shocked. I expected it to be over $200.? but it was over $400. Labor is over $200 per hour. I told Gary to forget it and paid the $99 call fee. We will be looking for another HVAC and plumbing company. BTW, the 3 stars were for their service. If I had to give a star rating on pricing, it would be a one.

My Tech, Tyree was very nice and solved my issure with my heating problem, will always ask for Tyree again. Thank you.

Godby was good enough to come out on a Saturday and jump the circuit board to give us some temporary heat until they could secure us the part we needed. They came out Monday. Our technician, Kenny was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. We will continue to keep Godby as our plumbing, heating and electrical source of help.

Stephanie was very informative and helped me get set up on annual maintenance schedule. Adam came to the house and completed a thorough AC inspection, repair and cleaning. Very knowledgeable team of professionals.

We had a great experience with Gary. We had the water line replaced that connects to the refrigerator. He ended up having to go to the hardware store to pick up a few parts. Before that though, he thoroughly discussed the charges and answered questions professionally. Also, he was very helpful in answering a question I had for him completely unrelated to the job he was there for. He could have brushed me off and told me I could probably find a YouTube video on it or something but he took his time in explaining it. I was able to fix that issue myself in no time. I had a very basic sercie call of replacing a 100A main breaker. I told them what I needed when we set up the service call. The work and customer service was fine. The final price was double what it should have been. Over $400 for less than an hour job and a $70 msrp breaker. Crazy high priced! I had to cancel the rest of my work with this company just due to their prices. Another local electrical company finished the rest of the work for much more respectable prices.

We have used Godby for a few years and have been pleased. Kenny has been our technician multiple times, and has been great. Professional, friendly, and good at explaining the work to be done.

Refreshing to see friendly and professional service from start to end. Very responsive to our needs and placed a priority to getting our water heater replaced. Stephanie who sets appointments is extremely friendly and professional. Installation later today and I am positive it will go well.

Did maintenance inspection which we did not request to be done and the technician should have called us before he even went there. Now have the heat turned off and we are being forced to close as no heat. They suggested space heaters. Pretty silly and stupid to try to heat a business with those.

Just had some HVAC work performed by Godby. We have always recieved good service from them but the last call to address some zone issues was top of the line. Now a days I almost expect poor service and am surprised when I get good service but their technician Kenny McCorkhill delivered top line service. He took the time to understand our issue and then spent a long time understanding our AC system. I thought we would need an second unit (and a lot of companies would have said why yes you do and sold me a second unit.) After completely examining the system he came up with a plan to rework some damper controls and upgrade some duct work. Nice hire Godby.

We have used Godby more than a couple times since purchasing our house years ago. All of their work (only minimal plumbing and lots of electrical) has been great.

Technician called ahead and arrived within the time window I was given when I made the appointment. He was very courteous and efficient. The dispatchers were very nice to talk to and worked with me to find an appointment time that I could work with. The invoice/receipt that I was given has all of the details listed on it, as well as my filter size. That is very helpful for record keeping. Overall, my experience with Godby HPE was wonderful and I would recommend their services.

He showed me to now replace the filters in my furnace and made recommendations that are simple and easy to follow. Even though he came for my furnace, he also checked my water heater and HVAC. Thank you Godby - my air conditioner wasn't working when I got home late - whoever answered the phone was so polite, and worked to get me a time that would work. Matt showed up and was friendly, worked efficiently - had the problem diagnosed, explained to me, and fixed in 90 minutes!!!! Now cool and comfortable. I will definitely continue to use Godby for my heating and air conditioning needs.

Great Service. I have used Godby almost 20 years for maintenance and repair. Excellent experiences.

The men that worked on my home were excellent. I truly am lost for words on their work. They were prompt and got everything working with team work that I haven't seen in quite some time. Each individual had knowledge in what they were assigned. They were polite and cleaned up everything.
On your list I didn't see a few things that they done.
My home is old and it needed alot of tender care.
The Godby team replaced the furnace ( replaced HVAC) and put in AC. Until this my home never had an AC unit. The place were they put it was awesome. They replaced all my plumbing which now flows better they replaced hot water to my washer. They placed everything right were it should have been placed.. The electrian replaced my 110 pole and now the whole house is 220. Each and everyone of the team were fast they done all this work within 2 working days and I'm ecstatic at how they breathe new life to my old home.
A great big thank you to the big guy (Mr.Godby) who told John, No limit just get it done. John thank you for everything you done to get it done cause when you said what day and time you were there.
I didn't know all the guys names but another great big thank you goes out to each one. Without you it wouldn't have been possible. You all made my life so much better. Out of all you guys done there was one snag. The dang gas company. They are the ones who slowed the progress of the gas flow. Everything is ready for the flow though. I better stop with this last big thank you.

My water heater died on a Monday morning. I called Godby and Stephanie got me set up with an appointment for the very next day! My service reps arrived on time and were very friendly and professional - they explained the replacement process to me carefully and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I am happy with the service I received and would recommend the company to others.

I had a bird stuck in my furnace flue. Great response from the service department and the technician got to me right away. He solved me problem and set the poor bird free. He was so informative and helpful. This is a great company that is responsive and one that knows what they are doing. I could not be happier!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fantastic experience in an emergency situation! I called Godby out due to a failed sump pump. They were busy and not sure if they could accommodate me. They left the decision to their plumber, Will. Will called me from another job and asked me to troubleshoot over the phone to no avail. He knew there was bad weather coming and added a couple of hours to an already long day. He called me en route and showed on time. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and worked with a sense of urgency. He took the time to explain the new system as well as the Godby membership, which I will be signing up for. Our experience started with a recommendation from our realtor. He asked me to call Stephanie at Godby. Stephanie was so pleasant. She listened and after some questions and consideration referred me to speak to Duwayne.

She sent me to him bc we were unsure whether we should repair or replace. He has the expertise to know which to recommend. The blower motor in our 21 year old unit had seized. We've repairs a variety of issues over the past few years. After some discussion we decided it was time to replace our furnace and AC. Godby has the right person answering the phone. We had been without heat for over a day in subzero weather and she made me feel heard and that I was in the right place.

Duwayne sent over 4 options based on the criteria we discussed. The next morning he arrived to take some measurements and go over the details. I made a deposit and he said a team would be there the following morning to install. Duwayne was thorough, professional, and very knowledgeable.

Joe, Austin, and David arrived that next morning on time. We have over a foot of snow and it was snowing. Joe gave me the rundown of what to expect throughout the day. They got to work immediately. Joe updated me on their progress several times throughout the day. There was a small plumbing issue that brought out a supervisor. He brought some supplies and within a half hour it was solved and the install was back on track. There was no additional charge - it was something that needed to be done to properly install the equipment.

By mid-afternoon we had heat. I was given a tour of the new equipment and they made sure it was running properly. By the time they cleaned up and double and triple checked everything our house had already warmed up.

The entire experience was positive from beginning to end. I did comparisons between Godby and 5 others. Not only did they provide superior equipment, the price was extremely competitive. I was hoping to get a few more years out of my previous equipment, but I feel confident that the team at Godby did their absolute best. The service and experience was above my expectations. The installer of our AC coil was very professional and courteous and had our comfort as his main concern. The office was very helpful in working with us to uncover our warranty coverage on the part. The only negative was that the wrong part was initially ordered but the service department worked to make sure we had the new, correct coil installed as soon as it came in. We really appreciated that since we were having a party the next day and needed to definitely have air conditioning. Would definitely recommend Godby Heating and Plumbing.

My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days we've had yet this winter, and Dan Adams came to my rescue! :-) He called me ~30 min. prior to his arrival which I greatly appreciated. My plumber (Will) figured out how to how to get a new water softener installed along with my new water heater. The pipe access and working space were very restrictive and required a creative solution. He made it happen!

Most recently, I’ve had Kenny working on troubleshooting a problem with my two stage gas furnace. Kenny was able to figure out the problem and get it back in excellent condition. Kenny also installed an Aprilaire steam humidifier on my furnace. There was limited room for the install but Kenny figured out a good configuration that looks clean and will be easy to maintain. He’s a great HVAC technician; very knowledgeable and professional!

We had a supply line to our upstairs lavatory burst suddenly. Right as we were sitting down for the evening after a long day. We called emergency service and Gary came out and fixed us up. We were glad they sent Gary because he's been here before and when he leaves we can stop worrying about the problem. Godby also set us up with a restoration service. We had a lot of water go into the ceiling before we got the water turned off.

The technician showed up within the time I was told. He was cleaner than you expect a service tech to be. Very nice and professional. He took time to explain to us what the cause for the slow drain was, provided the price to fix it. After he was done he walked us back through his work and explained what to do to prolong the clog from happening in the future. The price was exactly what we were told. This is where I’m supposed to explain the downfalls but there were none and everything went perfectly. Good Job!!

I scheduled my regular A/C tuneup with Godby. My technician was Dan Adams. He was very professional and cleaned my unit like it hasn’t been done before. Godby came to my house in an urgent need situation to repair a major leak. They were very quick and price was fair. Work was done well and they came through for me in the moment of need.

Tyree responded inside of 30 min on a Sunday when our thermostat failed. After replacing a blown fuse, he stayed to check on other root causes that may have blown the fuse and found a limiter that was cause of new error code in furnace.

The individual who came out was wonderful. It was the prices. I do not mind paying several hundred for labor. I mind when they say cost of parts is hundreds of dollars. It is not. The cost of part referenced was less than $20 and they asked for $300 some. Not cool. I was looking for a good, honest company to complete a lot of repairs. Didn't find that here.

Godby let me use a demo dehumidifier to see if I wanted to permanently install a unit in my house. I bought the unit a little while back and finally got around to having Kenny come out and install the unit along with a humidifier for during the winter months. Kenny did a great job with the installation and didn’t cut any corners. He even found a wire shorting out on the frame work during this installation and fixed it. Every time I’ve had Godby come out they have gone above and beyond. They are the first ones I call with any issue I have because I know it will be done right.

They've always been on time. I trust their work. Update 08/31/2020. Installed new washing machine. Older house so valves and box needed replacing. Top shelf work at fair price. Plumber new his business and is great.

Joe was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to inspect my air conditioning unit and gave his honest advice about the problems he ran across. Had some issues with my AC unit and needed to get a thorough assessment of what was needed to resolve this. The tech was onsite and did several tests and went the extra mile to ensure that we could resolve the issue. Probably the most refreshing thing was that there was no attempt to “up sell” me on other products and gave me a true analysis of what could be done with my existing unit. I will say, that since he was out and made the changes, my AC is running much more efficiently and my house is so much more comfortable in this unbearable heat!

I have been using Godby for our commercial building in Fishers for the last 2 years. They are always on time with their scheduled PM's and are up front with any potential repairs that are needed or can be put off and scheduled for a later time. We’ve been customers of Godby for years. We purchased our hvac system, total house humidifier, water heaters, and outdoor water faucet. We’ve been “Team Godby “ members for years as well. Service used to be great, but not anymore. I made an 8:00 appointment weeks ago. At 8:40 I called and found out they had a tech meeting and he would be on his way soon. I cancelled that appointment and made another 8:00 appointment. This time I called at 8:15 to find out if he was still coming. I was told again that they had another tech meeting and he would be on his way soon. At 8:30 he called and told me he would be there in 15 to 25 minuets. Sure enough, at 8:45 he shows up. Why do you make 8:00 appointments when you know you won’t keep them?Chapman Hvac is right down the street from us and next time maybe I should call them.

Over 5 years ago, Godby installed a new furnace, a/c unit and a tankless water heater. They all have been very reliable. When we thought that we were having a problem with the a/c, they promptly dispatched a service technician. Of course we have consistently had annual service contract in which our equipment is tested and maintained. We highly recommend Godby to all our friends!!

Adam from Godby arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my problem. A clogged condensate line on my ac/furnace causing it to leak inside the house. He cleaned it out and added an open port so I can pour vinegar in the pea trap once a month to avoid future clogs. He noticed that the drain line felt loose. He went it the crawl space and found a mess of pvc pipe that wasn’t installed correctly. He fixed it by cutting the pvc to size and glueing it together properly. I appreciate his attention to detail and going the extra mile to ensure everything was done properly. I will use them again for future projects I want to do.

Needed a new gas line for a range installed fast, as appliances were delivered faster than anticipated. Within a day, Godby was there installing a new gas line. Job was clean, well thought out regarding placement and looks great.

I've used Godby numerous times over the years and have always been pleased with their professional service. Most recently, the compressor failed on my heat pump, and despite their busy schedule, the staff went out of their way to make sure their on call technician spoke to me by phone that evening. Joe insisted on coming out the next day to see if there was any resolution during this weekend of severe temperatures. While the unit couldn't be salvaged, I was grateful for the quick response and great customer service from the entire team.

Godby has been my heating and plumbing company for a number of years. I believe them to be totally honest and above board with the issues I have had with an aging home. There have been several occasions when I thought I needed to replace something, and their serviceman has explained to me why that was not so and what and how much it would take to repair. I have purchased a new air conditioner and hot water heater from them and have been totally happy with both. Their serviceman noted a ground wire the builder did not connect and fixed the issue on the spot to prevent a possible fire. Overall excellent company.

They did a good job debugging a weird electrical and have proposed a straightforward fix. They will follow up with a quote to perform the fix.

They installed our Heil system, they also replaced all our ductwork and added a return air that was never installed. The installers where very nice and explained everything, answered questions we had, even pleased my husband with his OCD!! They got the work done fast, cleaned up nicely after they were done, Annnd they didn’t even step on my flowers while installing the outside unit! Thank you Godby!!

Replaced a problematic duct run in the attic. Despite being under a bit of a time crunch, the technician showed up on time, and was able to complete the job as promised. The new run works much better than the origional, solving a problem with low air flow on that long run. I had a brand new heating and air system installed by Godby in October of this year. My old a/c unit finally quit (from 1983) and my furnace was dated from 1993 and I didn't think it was worth salvaging. I took bids from 3 local companies and chose Godby for pricing and the quality Trane system (nothing stops a Trane). The experience was good all around from my sales professional (Duwayne), to office staff and installation technicians. My a/c unit is situated on the flat roof of my home and they had to use a crane to remove the old unit and install the new one. Everything went well and I'm sleeping well knowing that I have a new, reliable system keeping my home at the proper temperature. I am happy to recommend the professionals at Godby for HVAC service and installation.

Quite the racket!

This company does not offer estimates or quotes over the phone, and require a technician to come out to provide an estimate. In order to come out, they charge you a $100 service fee, unless you sign up for their “club” at $35 a month.
I found their prices extremely high! $300 to install a ceiling fan that I already had, in a fixture already wired for a fan.
The technician was at my home for less than 5 minutes. He read the “estimate” off a sheet of paper, charged me, and left.
A scheduled appointment, lost time, and $100 to be told what someone could have read me over the phone or on a website.

I had them come out to fix a leak under my sink. The first time they said I needed a new garbage disposal and over charged me. 2 weeks later, leaking again. Called them back out and they said I needed a j-flex pipe. Lies charges 6.78 for this piece, and they charged me 100 for the part and over 325.00 for labor to put it on. I will never use then again and would never recommend them to anyone.

I called interested in a back up generator for our house. The first response I got was they started at 10K and they were booked through May. My impression was they only were interested in serious inquiries. I was turned off by this approach.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

The company came out and performed work before informing me of the issue and asking my permission then presented a bill for $500. We paid for it hoping the problem was solved. Soon after the technician left, we discovered the work did not fix the problem. We were then quoted a new price of around $1,500 to fix the problem (that included re-doing the initial work). They admitted their mistake, but refused to rectify it. We moved on to another, more honest vendor. Many months later, they re-billed us for the original $500!

Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING.

Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical has been to my condo twice in the past 2 months. Once to replace my garbage disposal and a second time to repair a pipe leak in my wall. On both occasions the plumber was prompt, efficient, cleaned up before leaving and did a great job.

We have a maintenance agreement with them. The office people that schedule the calls have always been very pleasant to work with and the servicemen are prompt, polite and tidy. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The tech’s are always so polite and wonderful to work with. They work fast, they clean up after themselves and I wish every part of my day could be as easy as dealing with them. Scheduling a customer service are always top notch!

Tech was very professional, explained all charges that he could but needed to come back to compete diagnostics as the lines were frozen over. Tech was professional but needed parts were not available.

Don't fall for the hype of them being an Indy local name! Do your research and find a small local plumber on Nextdoor site or through neighbors or friends. This company lied to yur faces as they sent an inexperienced plumber to our home who had to take pics to get answers then took our $50 trip charge check and said he'd be back only to find out they weren't coming back until the following week!! We were without water and they knew this and then said WE WERE at fault when they knew the problem ahead of time! They lied on the phone and said we didn't tell them it was a different situation...we explained it exactly and even if it was a diff situation ( which it wasn't)..they should've had the knowledge to do it!!! The plumber that arrived stated i have three other appts still and its 5pm... i can't do this one right now. They knew it was not a basic replacement but this plumber didn't know how to do it and we had waited all day on him and then we got blamed!!! We had to fight to get our check back and thankfully we found an honest plumber through Economy Plumbing recommendation! Steer clear of Godby!!!

Can't speak to service, because the customer service was so bad I cancelled my request. My initial request for service was cancelled after I changed it from emergent to next day service, they were rude the next day when I was told that the request had been cancelled, I had to give my info all 3 times as if they never entered it into their system. And on the final phone call they said their plumber was out of town and would have to called around. It actually doesn't have to be Godby.

The service technician performed a diagnostic and identified the issue. He was very professional and resolved our issue quickly. The AC is working perfectly now!

Driver for this company with the last 3 digits on his license plate LAV for their branded truck was driving intoxicated. Nearly running multiple cars off 465. I reported it to their commercial division and got hung up on. I left a message for their residential division and reported it to the state police. I hope this driver never puts lives in danger like this again!
