We lost our heat late into the evening, called Chapman at 11:30 pm and the lovely lady we spoke to was able to get someone scheduled for the next morning. Steve arrived at 9 am the next morning and was very professional and kind. He was also extremely thorough and not only got our system back up and running but explained everything to us. The cost was affordable and service was high quality. We highly recommend Chapman.
I've relied on Chapman for over a decade now and they always provide excellent service. Today, I had Keith out to repair an issued he found with my furnace. He was prompt, efficient with his time, friendly to interact with, and did a great job. And the price is always reasonable. I signed up this year for a AC/Furnace and tankless water heater service contract because they are just that good.I have no reservations in referring them to friends and family.

Perry arrived on time, and did work quickly and professionally. He has serviced our Geo Thermal system previously and knows the equipment. Confidence is built with technicians that repeatedly service a particular customer every year. We are thankful that Chapman gives us the option of requesting Perry, and that he continues to be a valued Chapman employee. We hope to see him in June when the A/C portion of our Geo Thermal unit needs its annual checkup done.Final note, the office staff is excellent as well. Was called the morning of our appointment with a possible conflict, and things were worked out, as far as my schedule was concerned.
We had a kitchen faucet break on Sunday night. I scheduled an appointment for first available on Monday through your online chat. I informed the chat person that I had a replacement faucet and just need it installed. My wife said Gage was extremely professional on nice. However, I cannot believe I was charged $500 for an hour of being at my house to replace the faucet. A service charge I understand, but a $5 fuel surcharge on top of a $400 charge for 1 hour? Seriously? I am extremely disappointed with being taken advantage by Chapman.
My sump pump alarm went off early this morning so while I was at work my wife called Chapman to come inspect the system. She calls to tell me that the it needs replaced. So I discuss with the technician the style and motor size of the pump he plans to install. The upcharge is about 100% of the same pump at Grainger. But the forecast calls for rain and I don't have time to deal with the pump before the storm so I agreed to shell out the money to have it replaced.A few minutes later my wife calls to tell me the back up pump is also no longer functional and the backup pump is another $1000. This is absolutely ridiculous so I ask the technician to leave the backup alone and I'll deal with it later. I arrived home to find the backup pump gone a long with my sump pump alarm system.

Aaron came by to replace my existing electric water heater with a gas tankless model. He was awesome! The install was extremely neat and he spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting some issues left by others. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Aaron is a certified rockstar!!

Chris was the technician who came to perform our A/C maintenance and was very good. Told me what he was going to do, how long it would take and asked if I had any questions prior to starting. He finished up right on time, explained and went over everything he did and even took care not to throw leaves that were removed from the A/C unit in our mulch. Did a very thorough job. I would highly recommend him and Chapman for heating, A/C, and plumbing.
We received an $89.00 tune up flyer from Chapman. Larry Wilmoth did the spring tuneup on our a/c today and he did an excellent job. Larry was very professional, thorough and personable. He explained what he found on the tuneup and he took the time to answer all of my questions. I was so pleased that I signed up for the spring and fall tune up plan.

Kyle came for the estimate and was incredibly professional and helpful. We got other estimates and they didn’t compare to the experience with Kyle. He made sure I knew everything there was to know and all the options we had. Victor and Tyler came to install the system. They were very friendly and professional. Our house gave them lots of trouble, which was in no way their fault, but they had more to deal with than planned. They were here hours longer than they expected to be, but remained determined and professional. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

David Burns came out to service our AC and did an amazing job. I walked out to check on him and offer something cold to drink and saw that he had my whole outside unit taken COMPLETELY apart and was scrubbing every square inch.He cleaned the unit inside and out and hosed everything down! David was here for well over an hour and a half making sure to take his time and focus on every detail while other companies have been in and out in less than a half hour.Folks, if you have been looking for a company to handle your heating and ac needs...Chapman is DEFINITELY the Man for All Seasons!!
Keith was great! Ran into some issues turning what should’ve been an easy fix but Keith didn’t stop working until he got the issue resolved! Tyler Earnest is awesome. AC went out during a heat wave of course. Called around and most were either rude or had a wait time weeks long. Got ahold of Chapman and they got Tyler out the next morning. He did a quick fix to get the air running and then came back the next morning for the final fix. We had an emergency sewage backup in our main line. I called this morning and they sent Jason out within a couple of hours and he was very professional, precise, and quick. This is my first time using this company and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Bill Fennell came to our home today for faucet and garbage disposal installation after we had renovations done in our kitchen and master bathroom.Bill called beforehand to let us know when he would be here and arrived on time. He was very courteous, respectful and knowledgeable about his work and did a great job with our kitchen installations.We have very outdated pipes in the master bathroom, and Bill was very honest with us about the fact that it would be best to get a quote for relocating and updating the pipe before putting in our new faucet, so it would work at its best once the fixtures were in place.We are very pleased with the work Bill did for us today, and will request him again for the completion of the work yet to be done. Service Tech Evan did an outstanding job in repairing my furnace.
He was on time, friendly and effectively diagnosed the problem. Not only that but he volunteering to work overtime to pickup and install the replacement part. A great Chapman employee. I would never use any service other than Chapman.
They were prompt and professional. It was a simple capacitor replacement. $300 plus procedure charge 15 minutes and $30 part. But they also add a 100 dignostic fee. They knew within 5 minutes. I feel scalded at $440 for a capacitor change out. Otherwise they were good.
Wanted to share the great experience we had with Tony Chafin and the rest of Chapman Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing company. Yesterday we had a tankless water heater installed. I can't say enough how well the job was performed from start to finish. Tony's workmanship showed he cared about not only getting hot water back online at our home, but that it was more than that to him. The installation was clean, crisp and well thought out on the connections, so to make everything tie nicely into the existing gas line, water lines and electricity. I'd highly recommend Chapman on this and other installations, as this was the second big project we've had them do in the past five years. The other was installing a new A/C unit.
Matt came out and did our spring tuneup and gave us some suggestions on how to protect our system with a surge protector and a better filter. Great service and very friendly. I would highly recommend them.

We purchased a new HVAC system from Chapman Heating & Air Conditioning about a year ago. The installation process was excellent and on time. The system has performed extremely well over the past year and has reduced our energy bills. We recently had the furnace routinely serviced. Our technician, Jake, was super friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer questions. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC and Plumbing needs.

But a couple months after they “fixed” the problem it happens again and when I inquired they said it would cost another $110 to come out and diagnose the issue (which yeah I understand to an extent) but then when I asked when a tech can come out to fix it, they never replied to my email (which was our communication line during the previous day).

Gage is knowledgeable and informative in diagnosing our broken unit and gave good suggestions and recommendations as far as repair, replacement and services. He gave us several options for repair, unit replacement, and pricing. We had our water heater replaced from tank to tankless, electric to gas, and Bill did a quality work installing the unit. Bill was professional and knowledgeable of unit installation, featureless, and was able to answer all my questions regarding the unit. Our unit was installed and Bill made sure the pipes were aligned right and at right height/length. He completed installing the unit and switched the energy source from electric to gas. Bill made sure the unit and work area was cleaned after the unit was completely installed.The unit has been running well so and looking good in my garage. I recommend Chapman for all heating/cooling and plumbing work

I had an emergency come up,and the water company came to shut the water off and they did. I had a part that needed to replaced after that, but I had no idea what the charges we’re going to be up front before I got charged for work. My advice is let your customer know what they charge for this besides the service call. I was not happy with the amount that was charged after the fact. Please make sure you speak with the customer and communicate that to them!
Matt did a great job today. He explained carefully what we needed to know and gave us some tips on taking care of our heating and ac systems. Also, he left the areas where he worked looking just as they did when he arrived!
Chapman replaced my old AC/furnace with a high efficiency combination heat pump/furnace. The workmen who did the work were terrific. Efficient. Informative. Pleasant. What more can you ask for?

We had had another local HVAC company come out to install a smart thermostat. Afterwards the unit didn't work and they told us we needed to replace our furnace and heat pump. They had been serviced a few months prior with no issue, so we sought out a second opinion and repair from Chapman. Earl was the technician who came out. He was able to locate that the problem was with the low voltage wiring. After correcting that, everyone worked as it should. Kudos to Chapman and their team for their responsiveness as well as being honest and affordable.

I strongly recommend Christopher from Chapman. He serviced my property very promptly and his work is of high quality. Excellent work! David went the extra mile and notified me of a gas leak outside on the service side of my meter. Gas company came out and fixed it within the hour. David was just out to do my A/C tune- up. Thank you Chapman!
We’ve used them a few times and have had great experiences. Most recently, we had a unique situation (out of town while our air conditioning went a little haywire) and they worked with us on getting someone out quickly to fix the issue while we were gone. Shout out to David at Chapman for tackling that issue for us!
Unfortunately, we had not A/C on the holiday. We are thankful that Jake was able to come out early the next day and identify the problem. Had to go back to pick up supplies and returned to fix the issue later that day. We are thankful that Jake worked late to get us up and running.
Trent was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I purchased another year of maintenance from him. Trent recommended replacement of our hot water heater. He said, “I’m not a plumber, but that unit is old and noisy.” I’ll need to look into that. He was also very willing to tolerate the loving attention of my border collie puppy Daisy.

Bill was very nice to work with. He did a great job changing out my Hot Water Heater which had sprung a leak. It was cold and very rainey that day, but didn't seem to slow him down one bit. I would never hesitate to recommend him and Chapman to anyone.
The air conditioning checkup was completed by a technician that was friendly and professional He asked for my input initially and I mentioned gas odors. He checked for a potential gas leak and then added that repair to the day’s work also. He explained what would be done and commented periodically on the progress being made. After completion of both jobs he asked if there were additional questions. Thank you!

Jake was great. I just moved into a new house and had a lot of questions about my furnace, thermostat and tankless water heater. He was very patient and thorough in his answers.
Brian did a great job at discovering the issue. He clearly explained what the problem was with our furnace and found a way to temporarily keep the system working until the part was available on Monday. We will be using Chapman again.
This was the second time Jake handled our service and he provided the same excellent service as before. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and keeps well informed of our system's status.
Chapman was professional from their first email confirming our service to rearranging our service for my need to postpone. The servicemen worked diligently and explained the progress as they worked. As usual Ryan is exceptional. He gives detail account of service and what options are available. It is a pleasure to have him in my home.
We had a leaky pipe in our laundry room as well as 2 faucet installs. Despite the aggravation of old and rusty faucets as well as an uncooperative pedestal sink, Tyler remained patient and calm and completed the jobs beautifully. We also had a major leak in our crawl space last week, and Louis and Anthony did an amazing job (and spent many hours & several days) taking care of that issue. We have always been delighted with the service we have received from Chapman, and will continue to call on them in the future.

installed a new sink and toilet. after they were installed we were asked to inspect. my husband leaned on the pedistal sink and it wobbled. it was fixed. i noticed the toilet top was angled forward. he reset the tank back and then it was level. its unfortunate he did not notice these things on his own ..because he thought he was done and a wobbly sink isnt good. he did fix the problems after he was made aware of them.
I am very happy with the work that was done installing my new furnace. The workers were very professional and knowledgeable, they cleaned up and did a great job. I would recommend Chapman.

They provided great customer service and were quick to respond with a quote and flexible on timing.A few weeks later, we needed a new water heater and water softener. This place is always available for calls. That is good if you need them in a pinch but if your furnace is over 10 years old they overcharge you for repairs hoping you'll buy a new one, but they won't even give you a quote, you have to talk to a salesman. I saved $700 by buying the part myself and it took less than an hour to put in. Now they won't come back to my house because it's out of warranty because I replaced it myself. I would have had them do it if they didn't want $700/hr to do it.

We have been using Chapman for annual maintenance on heating and Cooling system they installed in the past. They found a crack in our heat exchanger during the last inspection on a Thursday and installed a new furnace on the following Monday. The whole process was very professional. We found our A/C fan motor not working on Saturday afternoon. I placed a call for a tech to come out and assess the problem. The call was handled efficiently, as the rep checked with the tech on call, and offered a service call for that same evening/night. We opted for a next morning appointment, which she then set up for us. The tech called Sunday morning, and made the visit, diagnosing the problem and advising on how we should handle the system while Chapman checked for part availability, and assured me that they would get back to me on Monday with the status of the part. I am very pleased with how everything has been handled so far.Update: I was very concerned that Chapman would have a difficult time finding the needed part, in that my AC unit is 20 years old, but not only were they able to find it, they also were able to schedule my tech to return just one day after the initial visit to install it. I could not be happier about the way Chapman has handled this. They communicated well, and in a timely way throughout, and my tech, Cody, was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. Based upon this experience, and a previous service call, I would not hesitate to recommend Chapman very highly.

The repairman was here for less than twenty minutes to ascertain that my water heater was not repairable. Then he gave me an estimate for a new one which I felt was to high. After I declined the bid I was charged 94.00 dollars for no work just a ten minute observation of my water heater. I also thought this was to high but paid it.
Water heater went south fast, was replaced within hours of our call. Tony was great.

I received a call letting me know that a tech was about 15 minutes away and asking if that would be a good time for me. Jake was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. My wife and I were very pleased with his visit. As he was leaving, I let him know that I had a problem with Chapman and Bryant about 6 months ago. Apparently, Bryant had a server problem and that reflected in a note on my thermostat and caused my furnace to stop working. Chapman was sending a repairman to repair the problem when my furnace began working again and the thermostat began reading properly. i found out that this was a problem with Bryant only. if the service tech had arrived, i probably would have had to pay a service fee and they would not have been able to fix the problem. Chapman and Bryant should have a system in place to alleviate this potential problem.
All concerns were completely addressed. I would appreciate having Jake Lowe address all concerns with my system in the future.

Chapman was able to get a technician out to diagnose and fix the issue with my heat pump within 1 day after calling which I thought is very reasonable considering the multiple 90+ degree weather Central Indiana is currently having. Technician Evan Keefer came out and diagnosed that the capacitor had failed and was able to replace it. He also checked the compressor windings were still good before powering up the heat pump. Once the unit was running he made sure no other issues were present before completing the service. Evan was friendly and professional during the service call. Thank you Evan!
Chapman was quick to respond, send someone out, get me a quote, and install the service as soon as I confirmed. From what I can tell, the water heater installation was a good value and everyone I worked with was friendly, whether it was over the phone or in person. Today, Gage came out to install my new water heater and he was professional, kind, and knowledgable. Everything was cleaned up and looked great before he left. So far from what I can tell, Chapman Heating and Air Conditioning did a great job and I will be a loyal customer.
Received estimate from Mr Kaiser on a water heater replacement, took me awhile to pull the trigger but he was accommodating to what I was looking for and was able to schedule install next day. Technician was Nathan, he was prompt and professional. Installation was no breeze and he handled it with the utmost care. He also explained things about the install and what he had to do to correct mistakes by the homes builders. Awesome service would highly recommend and will use again personally.

The tech himself was nice and did a good job fast BUT i was scheduled to receive a call at 3 and was told he should arrive 3.30ish. No call no show! Had to call office several times, no one could get ahold of anyone. Basically waited just under 2 hours, they called my mothers # instead of mine and said they would arrive in 10 min. I have a very tight schedule so was very flustered. Then to be charged $159 for a hose that took 5-10 minutes Ughhh! We have a service contract and have loved this company a long time service is normally impeccable, I hope this was an isolated incident.
The business associates were very professional and happy to answer any questions I had.The representative that initially came to check the unit when it stopped working was not high pressure and explained options that would be the best for a new unit. He also explained options for financing that the company could offer. The two men that installed the new unit arrived right on time, they were friendly and introduced themselves, took about 15 minutes of my time to go over everything they would be doing and got right to work.I compared the cost of the options presented to me by the company and they were priced in line with other companies in Indianapolis.

We have used Chapman for our heating and cooling since 2009. Today they installed a new furnace and A/C unit. The work was performed efficiently and thoroughly in terms of the install and clean up. The installers were Ron and Andrew, and they had another Tech with them whose name I did not hear, but they answered all my questions regarding the new units. Additionally, my salesperson, Randy Taylor, was very responsive to all my questions prior to signing with them for this install. He was also a no pressure type of salesperson which I very much appreciated.

I own some rentals, had an issue with one of my ac unit. I was out of town and the renter took it on himself to have it checked out. He called a company who could get out there QUICK (not mentioning any names) they gave me a quote of up to $6000.00.I promptly called Chapman and the repairs were around $ 2000.00. If the system would permit, 0 stars would be given due to terrible service. The Chapman technician came, quite late after hours which is the only positive point, to drain a leaking water heater. After setting up the hose and watching that it seemed to be draining, the technician left. Which would have been reasonable. The problem is the hose clogged and the water proceeded to drain in the house, under the floor. We were not aware that was happening until the next day. When the install technicians came two days later, they said the first tech used a hose which was too small. Now the floor may be ruined. Concern has been expressed to two Chapman staff, both of whom brushed it off.

My hot water heater was tripping the circuit breaker and shutting off. Thomas Simone very quickly diagnosed what was causing the problem, made the repairs and a short time later it was back in working order. He was very professional and friendly. Before he left he made sure that he had answered any and all questions that I might have had. I highly recommend him and his company for anyone having mechanical issues with their household heating and cooling equipment.
Probably could’ve gotten a cheaper quote, but after having them out to service myunit and the tech giving all sorts of advice on how to get the most out of the unit and not trying to sell me on a new one at all I was convinced they’d do a stellar job and they did. Had them install a new attic unit and all new duct work throughout the house and now my second floor + attic that would barely go below 80° is freezing. Can’t recommend them enough they were efficient and their work looks stellar.

Poor Earl was sent to our house on Friday evening of the Labor Day weekend for an air conditioning repair. He spent his whole evening working diligently to restore our air using all of the tricks of the trade. He did not seem to mind that we used his whole Friday evening when he could have been resting at home.

Today's service meetsor exceeds all my standards and expectations, which are normally pretty high.
Very pleased with Tyler’s servicing our heating/ac system. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint was that we were told we would be the first to be serviced in a 10 AM to 2 PM time slot but Tyler arrived at 1:30 PM.

Called early on a Saturday because ac was not cooling. Called multiple place and none could make it out. Evan called and said he was on his way within 20 minutes. He found out the compressor was not working but said he would check a few more things. It ended up being a capacitor needing replaced. He could have easily said it was the compressor but didn't and saved me a lot of money. Will definitely use again.

Tony Chafin Jr was great in helping me understand what had happened to my Tankless Water Heater. He told me that it needed an annual flushing to clear out all of the chemicals that build up in the line. He also checked my other bathrooms plumbing, while he was waiting on the flushing to get finished, to make sure all looked good. I only gave 4 stars because of the time not being what they originally told me when I called in for the appointment.
Evan was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He came out late on a Saturday night to help with our furnace that had failed while we were out that day. Shortly after arriving he diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. Would highly recommend their services.

Was very efficient, pleasant and happy to explain the plumbing situation. He installed a new faucet set. This one is a Delta and hopefully this will be the last installation for the kitchen. All seems to be working just fine, just sometimes the user gets a bit confused with control handle.

Chad was spectacular! Chapman left us on the hook for a repair that didn’t fix our issue like they claimed it would, but Chad was knowledgeable and professional, fixed the issue, and went a ways towards repairing our relationship with Chapman.
Aaron was very professional AND friendly. He explained what he was going to do, made me aware of potential issues down the road caused by the way the furnace was installed (not by Chapmen). He also showed me how I can mitigate premature failure of the motor and reset the humidity setting. All around a top service.

Had a AC MOTOR go out on Sunday. On Monday they said they were going to come out later in the afternoon but called to say when they went to go get the part at Lenox it wasn't there. They came back on Tuesday with the wrong motor but did an outstanding job tracking down the right part having it installed that day and stayed true to the price originally quoted even though it required a different motor as Lennox discontinued the one mine had. They remain professional courteous and most helpful during the entire process. Already told five people today about my experience. All of them commented that there aren't a lot of companies out there that have the customers best interest in mind. You guys do and I appreciate it!
I always ask for Perry Sisk to perform my annual Maintenance every year. He is the best in the business and I hope he is around for several more years.

Checked out basement sewage pump and found a tangled float. A
simple fix had it back running, saving us having to install a new pump. Chuck is a friendly and highly reliable technician who was able to properly diagnose and fix our problem, saving us a lot of money not having to replace the pump.
A new sump pump was installed. Also work has begun outside (on a piece of pipe that disconnected) to be installed when the weather is warmer. It temporarily has been laid above ground to get water away from the house. Our technician was great!!!

I accepted Chapmans proposal fot seasonal cleaning and check of our HVAC unit. They failed to show up or call to say they would not be there.
They answered my call at 7 in the morning, came out same day, and fixed my furnace issue promptly. Chris was courteous, professional and took time to answer a few of my questions.
Fixed our toilet and gave recommendations for moving forward.
Excellent service. We will be using them again.
