Excellent and on time! Same day delivery and Mark himself came out to remove our old water heater and replaced it with a new one. I called in the morning and he was there that afternoon. He didn’t charge us to come out and see what the issue was. He brought everything with him and didn’t overcharge me for the heater. Other companies I called wanted twice over what we paid for. Highly recommend! Can’t beat same day service especially if you have to take off work to fix a leaky old heater.

This was my first time using Weilhammer Plumbing. They installed a new water heater for me in my home. Mark was very friendly and responded to my inquiry for an estimate very quickly. He has considerable knowledge and was willing to talk through my concerns with me offering professional advice. The installation was not an emergency, but scheduled within two days per my request. On the day of the installation, he arrived on time and had with him all the supplies he needed. He was very careful bringing in the water heater and taking it upstairs....No damage to the carpet or hand railing. I watched him as he worked and I could quickly tell he takes pride in doing the job right!! The installation was completed neatly and at a very reasonable price. Job well done, I will definitely be using Weilhammer Plumbing in the future.

Mark did a good job getting our water heater installed during the chaotic holidays. He was flexible with scheduling -- due to unforeseen problems related to the appliance's location -- gave a good price quote, and got everything installed within a couple hours. I could hear him cursing a few times, but I think that's endearing and, honestly, a trademark of any craftsman.

I had a problem with the water pressure in my house as well as an issue with my kitchen faucet. I contacted Weilhammer Plumbing after reading the good reviews they received in different websites. I called and spoke with Mark. He diagnosed over the phone that I needed a new water softener. They came to my house, and replaced my water softener at the price I was quoted. Mark and his brother in-law were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and did a great and professional job. They even fixed the issue I had with my kitchen faucet at no charge. I will definitely recommend Weilhammer Plumbing Co. to anyone needing plumbing work.

I've seen reviews from others saying this company is rude. I have NEVER found them to be rude, just frank and honest! I find that refreshing so my time and money won't be wasted if for some reason I would need to call someone else. We've used Weilhammer Plumber MULTIPLE times. They're FANTASTIC! They're honest and are willing to give a rough quote over the phone when you schedule your appointment so you have an idea of approximately what the repair/installation will cost. Very honest and frank about pricing, cause of damage, warranties, etc.They tend to exceed my expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend them! Keep up the great work!!!

I rarely provide performance reviews unless the vendor is really bad or really good. Fortunately, Weilhammer is exceptional in service, pricing, and professionalism. Most kind hearted and professional plumber I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He is not going to charge you unnecessarily for any repairs that are not needed. Experienced. Installed my water softener within 48 hours of calling him and gave me excellent advice on my home. The following week I needed him to help with a shower leak and he came by within 24 hours to assess and repair the leak for me. All while the builder of my new home was unresponsive to my needs. He’s absolutely amazing and would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who asks.

Did an amazing and quick job replacing my hot water heater. Friendly, reasonable, just overall great experience. He also repaired a leak on the main water line for free that another company quoted 2000 to repair. Very honest service, I highly recommend him to anyone having plumbing issues.

I called Weilhammer Plumbing at 10:30 PM about a 50 gal electric water heater that was slowly leaking in our laundry room (bottom had rusted out). Mark returned my call before 9 AM the next day, and was at our house by 12 noon to replace the water heater. Mark provides a very fair price and friendly, honest service. Very knowledgeable and obviously has years of experience. Mark even went out of his way to add a drip pan and drain that was not previously installed with the old water heater. Would definitely recommend and will use Weilhammer again in the future for plumbing needs.

Gentlemen was able to replace my water heater the same day I called. He even replaced a shower head that wasn’t putting out a lot of water pressure with a new one. Overall, I am satisfied with the work that was done for the fact that it was quickly done and fairly priced.

Weilhammer the best. After dealing with four days of no hot water, and 2 straight days of no shows by Zoom Mechanical (stay away) I called Mark at Weilhammer at midnight on Wednesday. He called me back at 8 am Thursday and my problem was fixed shortly thereafter. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly professional. I was very impressed by his attitude and help. The entire experience was great. I also loved the stickers he put on the water heater. Glad to know now when I need help next time, I'll know who to call, because I lose regular business cards or receipts all the time. Highly recommend if you want honest professional timely service.

Superior service! I called Weilhammer Plumbing during a sump pump crisis on 01/10/20. Mark arrived within 45 mins of my call. He assessed the conditions and immediately I was at ease. He could sense I was distressed and worked quickly to remove risk of water damage and then performed extensive investigation to the root cause of problem. Kudos to Weilhammer Plumbing for always being available when you need them and providing same day service for emergency situations. Good service and great affordable prices for their work. From my water heater leaking to problems with my water softener I have always received timely and dependable service from Weilhammer Plumbing for the past few years.

Employees are very honest. Had other quotes on repair for 500 bucks for repairing plumbing and for hooking up a washer and dryer. Had Weilhammer out, and the technician said I didn't need their services and that I should just proceed with the install because the other plumber was wrong.

Excellent Service! I called with an urgent water heater problem and had a diagnosis within 30 minutes. My basement is extremely hard to deal with, but Mark was able to replace the water heater without any problems or delay, and helped me work with my home warranty to get reimbursed. I would highly recommend this company for fast, reliable, and honest service at a very fair price. I was also provided with very valuable advice on long term maintenance. I'm so glad we found Weilhammer Plumbing to fix the leak in our slab! My husband, Jed, contacted Weilhammer Plumbing desperate one evening because our hot water heater had died. They were available to install the top of the line comparable 50gal Rheem tank the very next morning. They were professional, punctual, did quality work, and even cleaned up after their mess. They also did all this at about 1/3 of the cost of their competitors! We would definitely recommend, and will use them again if needed in the future!

Only feedback I have for Weilhammer Plumbing: I'd really like to see a better street presence on Shelby Street. I have passed by this place hundreds of times in the past 4 years and only recently became aware that it was an active business (I would have been using them a long time before).

I called to schedule a service call. The lady was nice and very professional, and within a few minutes I received a call-back from the plumber/owner. I told him my issue, and he said he'd be happy to come take a look for $100, but he went on to offer me free advice as to how to troubleshoot the issue myself. I asked several questions, and he took the time to explain exactly what I should do and what I should look for. He was very patient. Lastly, he said to call back if I had any more questions, had any trouble, or wanted him to come over and fix the problem. I'll definitely use Weilhammer again!

My experience with this company has been excellent! I purchased a new water heater from them about a year ago. Their service was very prompt. They called me back within 15 minutes, and I had a new water heater within 2 hours.

I recently had a leaking sprayer on my kitchen sink. It's a fairly old sprayer and Lowe's didn't have what I needed. I called Mr. Weilhammer and rather than come out and charge me with a service call like most companies would, he asked me to send him a picture of my sprayer. He them responded and said he had a hose like mine and left it for me to pick up at his store and didn't charge me. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Anytime I have a plumbing issue, he will be the first person I call.

Fantastic service! Replaced my water heater quickly and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have a very difficult basement to move things in and out of and he was able to replace the water heater with no issues. Weilhammer Plumbing is the only company we use for our plumbing issues. We started using them three years ago and have never been disappointed. We have 4 rentals that plus our own house, and no property is younger than 80 years, so we've seen some nutty plumbing problems. In addition to fixes, we've also hired them to install 4 water heaters and one water softener. We love this company and hope Mr Weilhammer never retires!

Our water heater broke so we called Weilhammer. They first tried to help up figure out if it was a simple fix by relighting the pilot light, but when that didn't work, they knew we needed a replacement part. Not only did they first try to help us for free over the phone, they gave us an accurate estimate of how much the repair would be, and then came out the very next day and fixed it! The price stayed the same, the technician showed up on time, he had all the parts needed for the job, and he fixed our water heater within an hour! It was like he wasn't even there. I have a unique experience to share. I found Mark's name in a blog that was 5 years old. I was trying to find new trim for a shower handle that was 23 years old. I emailed him with my contact info and when I woke up the next morning, he had left a voicemail, a text and an email. He has been really easy to work with even though I am in Oregon. He mailed the parts that I needed and they were here just when he promised they would be. If I lived in Indiana, I would call him every time.

I am always nervous to choose a company to fix Anything in my home. Been a homeowner for 16 years and have never met someone that made me feel at ease - and that I could trust him - until now. Well, actually a year or so ago I had Weilhammer Plumbing out to repair a water heater & liked them then. Today I had them install a brand new water softener. Again, I feel he was completely polite, honest, and efficient. I called several companies to get quotes and explanations of what they would do. I originally called Weilhammer to install a water heater I was going to purchase elsewhere - he was happy to do that but, after educating me on water softeners (which I definitely needed that education) I decided to go with the person that I felt was most trustworthy and true. I have been using Weilhammer Plumbing for many years and have been very satisfied. I am always dealing with a family member, and their prices are very competitive. I recently had two toilets replaced and always appreciate their attention to detail. This is a smaller company that spans at least two generations. You call the main number and they answering service will send them your message, and they will respond quite promptly. It took me a little while to get used to this, however their prices mandate keeping costs down, and this is fine with me.

Great experience with these guys. I had two toilets that kept running and called another supposedly reputable company first. They quoted me $1000 to replaced the units in the two tanks. This seemed pretty crazy, so I had them leave. Weilhammer was great to deal with from the start. They showed up on time, were quick, and replaced everything for $200. It's nice that we have some honest people in the area.

I woke up to my water heater dripping in the garage. I called Wielhammer Plumbing in the morning and had a new hot water heater by 3:30 in the afternoon. The owner of the company installed the new tank and was great to talk to. I will most certainly call him again if and when I need a plumber.

Mark is not only outstanding on the initial installation but stands behind his work and product. I called Mark a year and a half after an installation when an issue was discovered with a water softener (the property was tenant occupied and the tenant had not reported the problem). Without issue or charge Mark corrected the problem right away. Two years after an installation I asked Mark to check that a system was functioning properly, he did so quickly and again at no cost for the service call, even though there was no problem with the unit. Finding quality, reliable contractors is not easy. I am very happy to have found Mark.

Mark is awesome. Installed a water softener and water heater for us. Professional installation and detail oriented. Very personable and always available for follow ups. Rates are unbeatable and quality of work is second to none.

I called Mark Weilhammer today with a leaking pressure relief valve on my water line. One of his competitors had sent out one of their plumbers with a helper earlier that morning,and upon checking the valve said it needed to be replaced. Cost estimate apx. $600. I thought that was absurd. I called Mark and he said he could be here this afternoon and I said great see you then. He arrived at apx. 3:30 and I showed him a picture of the defective valve. He went into the crawl space with a new valve and was done about 4:00. The cost was considerably less than the competitors quote from the morning. I had a fantastic experience with Weilhammer Plumbing just over the phone. I had contacted this agency based on the Goggle reviews and I am glad I did. I spoke to a gentlemen on the phone and explained the problem I was having. He gave me a couple things to try in lieu of a service call. He said he would be happy to come out but had possibly an easy fix based on what I explained. I did what he said, and my problem was no more! He had also told me if that worked what the permanent solution was. I really appreciated him giving me the advise and saving me the money of a service call. I will call him first for any future plumbing issues.

Contacted Weilhammer early on a Thursday to inquire about replacing a water heater at a residence. The removal and installation was coordinated immediately and within four hours the unit was successfully installed by Dan. I couldn't have dared to hope to have had the work performed this quickly, much less this professionally. This is a great local business!

We had an emergency water leak from our refrigerator on a late Saturday afternoon and Mark was great! He arrived in 30 min and was able to repair it quickly. He also showed us all of the plumbing lines and shutoff valves throughout the house in case we had another emergency.

I had a bad water softener and they installed a new one. He did a great job. He was on time, good price, installation is much improved over the last one. Would highly recommend.

Just had a service call from Weilhammer Plumbing. These gentlemen are the real deal! They came out and fixed, for free, a piece of water-heater work that was (mis)handled by a different plumbing company. They also provided some very helpful advice about some other minor issues around the house and were extremely pleasant and down-to-earth folks to speak with. They saved me a ton of worry because they revealed an untruthful statement about my water pressure that was made by a competitor, to be false. They were too much gentlemen to say the competitor was untruthful, but it was quite obvious that it was the case. Instead of the high-cost, high-pressure tactics I got from from their competitor, Weilhammer gave me a very reasonable estimate of work that needed to be done, but did not try to convince me that the world would end if I didn't sign up to have it done today.

If they chose to, they probably could have easily taken advantage of me -- I am not wise in the ways of plumbing and was pretty upset about what I was (falsely) told about my water pressure from the other company. But instead they were honest with me and helped, for free, to undo someone else's mistake! Their estimate was very reasonable, and overall I could not be more impressed, and I will be looking to them for all my future plumbing needs. I would encourage anyone and everyone to do the same.

Edit: I just called Weilhammer again today for an in-wall leak -- it was a nasty one but they jumped right in, on a weekend, and got it fixed! They gave lots of good advice about how to deal with the drywall, avoid mold, etc. The cost was very reasonable, especially for coming out on a Sunday with the Colts about to play! :) Bottom line, everything I said above still stands -- they are awesome and they'll treat you right.

Our water heater went out late Saturday afternoon before Christmas (holiday weekend). He said he would try to come by and fix it but couldn't make any promises. He did end up coming, but was unable to repair and the whole unit would have to be replaced. He wasn't going to come back until sometime during the week. We told him we needed our hot water asap as we were having a Christmas party at 3 on Sunday. He came Sunday morning, on his day off, with the unit and installed in less than 2 hours. He saved my Christmas Party and I couldn't be happier with his work, professionalism, timely manners and hospitality for his clients! He went above and beyond when he didn't have too. Weilhammer Plumbing gave great advice over the phone for FREE that could save me thousands of dollars in an unneeded repair. I was calling around for free quotes for a potential plumbing job, and some companies were charging $50 just to diagnose the problem, when all I wanted was an estimate. The advice I received from Weilhammer was helpful and they even offered to still come out to give me a free estimate. I will definitely keep Weilhammer in mind the next time I need plumbing work done.

Late Friday evening we discovered we had no hot water. The thermostat went out and pilot light would not stay lit on our water heater. I called the plumber who installed and they couldn’t come out until Monday..ugh. Said they needed to pre-order parts first…hmmm. Anyway, next morning, I searched web and found Mark’s site & number. Gave him a call and he provided advice on how to reset. Kept my fingers crossed and did what he advised. Worked great! Hot water again and was saved $250! Good, free advice hard to come by these days; especially when most plumbers would want to come out and charge $$$$$. Just shows what type of decent business Mark operates. Next time I have a plumbing problem I know to call Mark.

Excellent service and workmanship. Hot water heater went out. Gentleman tried switching parts out, but the old heater was gone. He put in a new Rheem for a reasonable price and had me back with hot water in less than 48 hours. I would recommend them highly.

Mark and co. came out and replaced my water heater a couple of months ago, and did a great job! In and out in a day, reasonable price, didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need. I'm only sorry it took me so long to get around to writing this review! Definitely pick these folks for your plumbing needs!

Weilhammer plumbing has fantastic service. I called to get a consultative visit about a a sewer gas smell in one of our bathrooms. We had had 2 other plumbers out over the last year to Attempt to diagnose the problem and both suggested expensive and invasive ideas to try and see if there was a leaky pipe somewhere in our walls.

Weilhammer was able to immediately realize what was going on and how it could be fixed. The fix was more than we were wanting to spend considering we are listing our home for sale this week but at least we were knowledgeable about the issue and that there was nothing to worry about as far as further issues arising.

The timely and friendly expert opinion was all offered at no cost and no pressuring with fear tactics of false claims

Overpriced. Charged $200 to pull and replace a bad element (that is almost 1/3 of the installed price of the complete water heater he put in several years earlier). He was here approximately 25 minutes. When I asked the repairman why so high, he said the truck charge alone was $150. An element averages $15.
Response to Mark: Your repairman did not flush the tank. All he did was quickly pull the old element and stick in the new one. Things are not that tough for me; I just don't like to be overcharged, and I obviously thought I was in this instance. Your guy spent some time in his truck while preparing the receipt. I would assume he would have contacted you to discuss the fact that I was unhappy with the charge since, as I told him, was almost 1/3 of the original heater that was installed in 2007. It does not need to be replaced. It just needed the element. Is the truck chg really $150?
11/29/17 response: Mark, changing your original response and continuing to insult me, in my opinion, is not a very professional move for any business owner. Do you honestly feel that any customer, or potential customer, who desires a fair price deserves to be told You know., if times have gotten that tough for you? Reminds me of an auto dealership where, after negotiating for the best price on an Escalade, the manager made a similar statement by suggesting we look to a lesser vehicle if we could not afford it. We walked out and bought the Escalade elsewhere. Not a good move by any owner or manager.
Again, is your truck charge really $150?

i just called to set up a estimate for a for a commercial Water heater replacement. The gentlemen who answered was rude and very short. He barely was answering the phone and was unprofessional and dismissive and said hey i'm busy, what do you want.

Since this was my first impression of this company, i just said no thank you and hung up. If this company does not care enough to talk to their potential customer with any respect, then i wouldn't have them do any work for my company.

I had a great experience. I had a leak in the basement that was causing flooding, and our plumber arrived with in 15 minutes of our phone call, and was able to fix the issue in less than 30 minutes for a very reasonable price. I will be using Weilhammer Plumbing for all my future needs.

When I called Weilhammer Plumbing they tried to help me on the phone but the water heater still was not working so they came first thing the next morning. When I had a leak from my hot water line in the small crawlspace of my 100 yr old home, I called one of the plumbers from the radio. Needed help with my water heater and called Weilhammer, over the phone I was given adequate info about my water heater and how to get it fired up again. Instead of having to pay three or four hundred dollers the guys from Weilhammer helped me figure my problem out. Not only did they save me the hassle but they assured me that if I was still having problems they would get a repair man out after hours to get it fixed. Thats excellent service and I will be sure to call Weilhammer if I have any problems in the future.

Returning home from vacation on a Saturday night, we found our water heater has sprung a leak. We called 6 different 24 hour services and got no answer and no response. Mark (Weilhammer) not only answered the phone, but came out during a heavy snow to get us up and running. Very grateful, highly recommend.

I woke up yesterday to NO HOT WATER and a pilot light that wouldn't ignite. I called Weilhammer Plumbing, who had installed the hot water heater years ago. They called me back and suggested a way to re-set the pilot light and save me a needless sales call. I followed their directions and IT WORKED!! Now everything is up and working great. I was so thrilled that I years ago I had found an honest plumber.

I submitted an inquiry about an issue we are having with reduced water pressure. Mark phoned me and offered advice for free. Not only was the advice free, but it was free advice that would result in a free solution to fixing the problem. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Weilhammer Plumbing installed a 75 gallon vent water heater. Installation went smooth and in a timely manner. Removed the old water heater and did a very professional job. I would highly recommend Weilhammer Plumbing!

Weilhammer Plumbing gave me great advice and asks questions to determine issue over phone. They installed a water heater for me for a great price a few months back. We are selling out house and they came out and fixed a few minor house inspections issues in a timely manner. I will call on them again for future service!!

Quickly responded to call of flooded basement. (I had called several plumbers and hadn't even gotten a return call.) Plumber drained the basement and installed a new sump. 6 months later when the new pump wasn't working quite right, plumber came out again and took care of the problem without charge. Friendly service. Would use again.

I actually called Weilhammer Plumbing to come and take a look at my water heater, and the guy I spoke with (Mark I believe) was extremely nice, and patient of enough to ask me all the questions, but most importantly he was honest !!! He could have easily came out and charged me money, but instead he actually told me that my problem was extremely minor, and walked me through the process. This happend yesterday May 15, 2015, and I am extremely happy that there are still honest people out there in the world that understand the value of doing the right thing !!! I wish all the other service companies would adopt his mentaility and his business practices !!! I most definitely recommend Weilhammer Plumbing to anyone in the state of Indiana, and throughout the United States !!!

Wouldn't come out for less than $350. They set this as a minimum due to inclement weather. We declined, as we felt this was price gouging and they seemed to be taking advantage of the situation. Also, they gave no assurance that they would even be able to make it out at all. Thanks, but no thanks. (the garage door spring had broken and we were forced to leave it open a foot until the garage door people could come out...Garage Door Doctor came out immediately at no additional charge despite the weather conditions...they were respectable and ethical...Weilhammer Plumbing chose to gouge)

We had a great experience with Weilhammer. Our sump pump piping runs directly under our bedroom, which was causing a very noisy thumping sound as the pipe vibrated along the baseboards. We had three other quotes that were upward of 3k and Weilhammer came in with a reasonable solution and quote. Really happy to sleep in silence now and will use them again if something arises!

Couldn’t be more pleased with the workmanship and going The extra mile. Installed my water softener very quickly and also I asked him if he could take a look at my sink that was clogged he said no problem and he fixed it within about 10 minutes.

I wish I could give them more stars. Not only did they replace my gas water heater the same day I contacted them, they also did it for $500 less than ARS quoted me with my service plan. They also corrected a dangerous venting issue, for free, that ARS should have caught last month when they installed my gas furnace. I can't thank them enough!

I called him to come and fix my water heater after a failed attempt to change some parts on my boyfriend and I's part. Instead of insisting on coming out to fix the problem, he graciously told us what we did wrong and where to buy the parts. We will definitely use him if it comes down to a problem we can't fix! Had the owner Mark take care of a shut valve for my house in no time and saved me over $1500 from another companies quote. My kinda company who doesn't sugar coat things and saves me money.

Dan came out on time & installed new water heater in a very tight space and replaced old valves. This was not an easy replacement
as we re-inforced the wood base, added a drain pan, re-positioned the valves where they can be easily reached, and removed two un-nessesary valves. Also the exhaust duct had to be modified. Highly recommended.

On a Saturday morning, I called in about a pilot light I couldn't get started. I received a call back in minutes and was advised how to fix the issue over the phone for free. I highly recommend calling them if you have any plumbing issues.

I just got off the phone with these guys. INCREDIBLY RUDE! All I need is a garbage disposal fix. They refuse to come look at it. He tells me I need to figure out if it needs to be fully replaced before they'll even show up, and commit to a much higher price. Worst customer service ever.

I didn't hang up on you, the conversation simply ended and I told you with the way you behaved that you have lost my business. I heard your final words, but that doesn't mean much with the way you talked down to me, and treated me.

Awesome Customer Service... They replaced a faulty water heater without any hassle free of charge. They also responded the very next morning after calling in the issue late in the afternoon.

Mark replaced my 13 year old 50 gal. gas water heater with a new Rheem 60 Gal. gas high eff. one for half the price other companies wanted and for exactly the amount quoted.

They installed a water heater and water softener for me as well as a few other items. They did a great job. I would recommend them to friends.

Well, first of I had a water heater and softener installed (water softener new install)...Prior to the install, They stated they need to cut through the drywall, ok no problem...When it was all said and done, I looked at the final installation and this was my view of it:
1) Since it was a smaller space some adjustment was need , which fine...
2) The piping was a nice job and all new...
3) There was a big hole in my wall left which I felt it was unnecessary, probably bigger than needed...
4) I still have drywall dust and debris left in my furnace area...
5) Looked they took a hammer or something to make a hole through the for outlet, not very neat of a hole...
6) Will contact them to see if they can repair my drywall...

They are friendly and all but, however, not truly satisfied completely of install...Not sure what brand of softener it is either since there is no name on it and the manually does not say...At this point I'm not really satisfied of the service and hopefully they can make it right...
