Ethan explained to me how the process of cleaning my ducts and hvac system would be. They were efficient and also cleaned up after they were done. They were professional at all times. I am pleased with Summers service.

Bradley and his associates did an outstanding job they showed up quickly and performed in a professional manner . They were respectful of my space and performed their work in a timely fashion, considering it was pouring down rain the whole time they were here. Never once complained about getting soaked! BE SURE YOU TELL THEM UP FRONT YOU DON'T WANT THEIR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR THERMOSTAT. That's really our only problem with Summers. (Why would I want a company ad on my living room wall???)Our ancient system needed replacement, and Gary identified the problems and made an offer for an energy-efficient system. We accepted and the new A/C, furnace, and thermostat were installed the next day. The installers were very professional and cleaned everything up nicely. The new wifi thermostat system is very nice.My only complaint was that the name Summers and the phone number was printed on the top of the thermostat trim ring. Apparently they had to order another thermostat to get a replacement trim ring, and they installed that today. So, they were very responsive in addressing the issue. It is a mystery to us, though, why they ordered all their thermostats with their name printed on it. Your company name on a sticker in the garage is one thing, but inside the house? On an inside wall that everybody sees? I suppose it seemed like a good idea at the time....

Summers did the annual check-up on my air conditioner as part of my annual service agreement. The technician took the time to do a very thorough analysis of my unit's performance and also did a great job of cleaning up the unit at the end. He also cleaned more accumulated dust out of my furnace that previous furnace cleanings by other companies had missed. He provided an honest assessment of my 30-year-old unit's performance and provided me with several options for replacing the unit, in alignment with my stated desire to upgrade to a heat pump system in the near future. I felt I got great value for the price of my annual service agreement.

Brady gave excellent service on my air conditioning unit. He thoroughly explained everything and answered all questions, making sure I understood everything he was doing. He took photos to show me his findings so I could make correct decisions on how to proceed. Very professional and knowledgeable, as well as friendly and kind. I highly recommend Brady and will request him again.

we have used summers for a variety of things in the past few weeks and are grateful for their work. Any of their team that has come whether it was to look at a slow drain, to repair the piping for our plumbing or inspecting our HVAC they were very professional, we never felt pushed into any services and they always shared their honest opinions. You can tell they have a great deal of experience and know what they are seeing and are willing to share the patterns (neighborhoods with similar issues) within our area.

Our hot water line blew the day after Christmas and we'd called several places and nobody was able to come out for several days. Summer said they'd come that day and were there in an hour! Brandon (don't remember his last name) showed up and very quickly diagnosed the problem then got right to work on it. He was professional and courteous. Did great work!

Eric Ross was super easy to talk with concerning all phases of his inspection and explained his notes from the checklist by letting us know what we need to watch out for in the future as our AC unit continues to age-all done with an honest and positive attitude. What started as my annual tune-up turned into a new furnace (it was having problems and my tune-up just happened to be scheduled). Mike was completely honest about the cost to repair an 8-year old furnace vs. buying a new one. Had the install team out that very afternoon.

Had a cold snap this spring and our old heat pump went out. We got same day service and while it was not an easy fix, they are coming back tomorrow to get it replaced. I'm impressed with the turn around, and my wife's cold feet are thankful!

Will Drury was very professional, informative and just flat out down to earth! It was my first time using Summer's, but I was definitely pleased with the job. I decided to purchase a membership, which to me is worth every penny and reasonable in price!

Brad and Vinny did a great job with the install of both furnace and AC units. They did all the heavy lifting in removing the old systems and installing the new. Made sure they were working correctly and took the old systems with them after cleaning everything up. Wonderful.

Brandon was sent out because our heat pump AC wasn’t working. He was on time and communicated everything clearly. Found the issue and was able to resolve on the same trip.

Normally it’s a smooth process. Unfortunately yesterday was a disaster. Summers was out to install a humidifier. They were supposed to be here between 12-2. First round showed up on time. At 2:16 the Lu said tech was on his way. 2 hours later he showed up. They didn’t have the humidifier or the parts so he had to go get one. That’s why he was late. Then he was here until 8:15pm

I left a lower review due to the last tech not verifying were the leak was at. Got a call four days later they called and sent another tech out free of charge and found the leak will call them again for future projects

Great Service and work. Brandon appears to be very knowledgeable regarding my HVAC. Very friendly and sociable too. My cat loves him too.

Have had nothing but great service from Summers Heating and Cooling (all locations). They schedule in advance and stick to it. I appreciate their workers explaining things for me as well. Have always felt their service has been a good value as well.

We had a pipe burst in Christmas Eve and have been getting the run around to get it fixed. We called Summers yesterday and they came out today. Andrew came out and explained everything to me. He was so efficient and we even joined the loyalty program. I would definitely recommend him for future projects.

Keith Kennedy was my plumber today. He was here to do my plumbing check for the season. He is professional, very personable and knowledgeable about his business. We had interesting & fun conversations while he was working and he was good about explaining what he was doing and what to watch out for during certain situations. Mike came out at the last minute on a Friday to look at my heat pump. I was at work and my brother was at my house. Mike got on my brother's cell phone and explained to me what was going on. I appreciated him doing so instead of relaying everything through my brother. I also appreciated Summers sending someone out at 4:30 on a Friday.

Miguel came out to clean the HVAC system and install an air purification system. He got everything cleaned up nicely and our system is running like new. Very happy with the work and outcome.

Andrew was so personable and helpful. He detected the burst pipe in my wall and repaired it quickly. He put me into contact with a water mitigation and restoration company, Midwest Remediation, that have also been very courteous and knowledgeable. If that wasn’t enough, he ended up discovering a gas leak behind my house and that will be fixed here shortly too. Thank you to Summers and a bigger thanks to Andrew!

I was pleased with Daniel and his helper. They were very friendly, and explained what they were doing and problem with tree roots in sewer line. They cleared the clog, and explained that the clay tile should be replaced to eliminate problem. SM

Unfortunately, after 14 years I needed a new heat pump and furnace. Summers had the best price, warranty and finance options. Had another local HVAC company come for a 2nd opinion and they were literally 3x more expensive than Summers with 5 years less warranty. Pretty much a no-brainer for me.....Summers it is!

The technician backed the van into my house and damaged it then did a good job on the a/c.

Requested sump pump replacement. They said mine was still working but did notice problem with broken pipes where sewage was leaking. Came up with plan to fix. Grateful that problem was found early. Excellent service!

Jon from Summers gave me a quote to replace my water heater. They will do the replacement next week. Jon was through and discussed different options, and he has a great sense of humor,we laughed alot.

I got the maintenance deal with Summer's and had my a/c checked in the summer. It was running fine but the condenser made a loud thump noise when it would shut off. They, I can't remember their names, said something was going on with freon levels. Had a price to fix it. Also suggested maybe it was time to replace. It's no more than 6 years old and I've only been in the house for a year. I had them listen to the thump sound but with them ready to go, I forgot and so did they. I know I should have reminded them but I was so surprised they said a new a/c could be needed, I forgot. It worked great the rest of the summer.Had Miguel to check out the furnace as per the maintenance contract and things look fine. Miguel is a great young man, very personable and didn't push a sales. I'm not sure if I will stay with Summer's right now. The next appt is scheduled but I have 8 months to decide. If I do, it will be because of Miguel.

Picked a new plumber at random for the pin hole leak 2 weeks ago. Super fast response and same day repair. This time I called again for another problem that was less urgent. Again, super fast response AND a very reasonable estimate. So far their Customer Service is top notch! I put in an online request last night and the phone was ringing at 8:02 this morning with an estimator here before 9:00. Once we stop breaking stuff I'll need to schedule deferred routine maintenance for water heater and HVAC systems.

We purchased a new furnace and an ac unit from Summers in late 2018 and signed a contract for yearly maintenance. As a part of that contract, the technician came 4 weeks ago to check our ac unit. He recommended a new filter system and suggested we clean our ducts. The cost was a little over $1200.00. We followed the recommendations and a week later he came and installed the new filter system. a couple of days after the new system was installed two employees came and did the duct cleaning. So far we were happy with the service. That evening my husband notice a whistling noise coming from our furnace as it was struggling to run. Even though summer experts were just there he decided to check the new filter. Go to photos to see the status of our filter and the opening to the filter case. II called Summers the next morning and explained to them how they almost burned up our furnace. They send Eric Harris to our house that afternoon. Eric came with a set of new filters ($90) and apologized but didn't have a clear answer to how summer's crew missed checking the filter. He mentioned the crew that came to work under another manager and he will pass on the information to him. Up to this day we haven't heard from anyone. This was a great mistake that could have burned up our furnace. Be careful with summers work. We followed all their recommend services to have peace of mind but realized we paid money to add more trouble.

Mike has serviced my home previously. I like having the same person come out for service calls. He explains everything he does or that he's doing. He is professional & courteous. I would like for Mike to be the person to come out for my services.

Employee was good but the prices are outrageous replaced 2 washing machine valves charged over $400 for 30 minutes work. That was with a discount for being on their service contract. I was contacted to call about the pricing. The person I talked to was supposedly the plumbing manager… This person was the most degrading and most unfriendly person I have ever talked to…

Summers sent a technician named Mike Drury our for our semi-annual HVAC checkup. He took his time and went over our system with a fine-tooth comb. He explained everything he did in detail. He was outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy with this visit and intend on asking for him by name this spring!

Mike was prompt, professional, friendly, and thoroughly knowledgeable with regard to the findings of our unit today. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask for him! Exceptional service!

They did a great job with my shower faucet.I replaced it years ago and installed it upside down so the water Temps where way off and backwards.They knocked this problem out of the park.

I will end up needing a bunch of follow up services to make my home function properly and safely, but Brady was really good at breaking down why each was necessary. Eric Ross was dispatched for diagnostic of my ac unit. Finding that the unit was 21 years old repairs could not be done…it was dead. Not what I wanted to hear as it was the hottest day of the year. Eric showed me why the unit died and due the age and type of unite could not be repaired. Eric advise me of my options and was very helpful with helping me pick the correct replacement unit for me. I appreciate the time that he took to explain everything and all the options that were available. No one wants this kind of news but Eric got everything set up and will be back in a few days for installation7-5-22 Update, I called back thinking I was having an issue with my tankless water heater. They sent out Andrew Nathan. I cannot say enough about how kind, courteous and professional Andrew was. He did a complete inspection and figured out the issue. It turned out to be an issue with my faucet and had nothing to do with my water heater. I apologized for the call and he was kind and said it was no problem. I cannot express how much that meant.

Summers Plumbing Heating and Cooling is a very professional business. They explained all of our options in a very clear manner. They included my husband in the process via phone and photos. There was zero pressure involved. They immediately put us on their schedule. Within 24 hours, we had a new system up and running. The installers were clean, courteous and professional. Communication was excellent. I received detailed text updates. The text messages also included pictures of the employees that would show up at my door. Installers placed down mats to help protect my flooring as they entered and exited our home. I highly recommend this company.

James and PJ were very helpful when doing an estimate for fixing a “mystery vent” that had no airflow. They were able to identify the source of the problem and propose a very cost-effective solution. We look forward to scheduling them to come out and complete the work.Update: PJ and David came out and did the duct repair yesterday and it went very smoothly. They completed the work in a couple of hours and cleaned up all debris. We’re very happy to finally have airflow to our mystery vent and would definitely use Summers again. They did a great job.

I signed up for a service contract this year and I'm so thankful. Disruptions to your heating and cooling can be huge pain and sometimes dangerous. Having SPHC come out to assess my A/C and heating and provide assessments and quotes for replacements BEFORE breakdown is so reassuring. Gives me time to save up for replacements rather than being blindsided. There's also support for plumbing issues. I had a complete blockage in my kitchen sink today and was able to get someone on site the priority booking with the service agreement. Saved me quite a bit of money too! Good service and knowledgeable staff at a good price.

Several months ago our AC broke in the dead heat of summer. Summers came out and recommended we replace the entire unit as well as our furnace. Both systems are only 7 years old. The guy said it is typically 18,000 but he could get us a deal for $13,000 if we “let him know in 24 hours.” Glad we got a second recommendation despite it being so hot and miserable. We were able to FIX the issue for $300!!!! Will never use Summers services again. They are not honest.

I was so impressed with Eric’s kindness and his willingness to help in matters outside his call of business with us. The outside work wasn’t pleasant given the rain we had been having and the overgrowth of vines around the AC unit, but his attitude and demeanor were nevertheless gracious. He was personable yet professional and his expertise notable. He was also most helpful and considerate in working within my circumstances.

Kyle provided great service during a routine maintenance check on our furnace. He arrived on time. He asked me if I had any concerns or issues before he performed our furnace check. He took some time to explain the thermostat since my partner was out of town. We talked about the static guard filters. He brought a years supply with him as well. Well, Summers Plumbing & Heating is the Providers who put Our New Furnace & AC Unit in and who has maintained the Maintenance on it. When I called in the 1st of the New Year I first was very Happy to speak with a Live Person verses an Automated Machine. The Techican who came within a couple of hours was Mr Dustin and he was very. Respectful of Our Home and Knowledgeable of what needed to be done to get Us Heating back to Our Home. My mom needed a back up sump pump they installed a pair pump which is a stainless steel sump pump and battery back up. Includes safety agreement. Cost: Pair pump 3 yr. Warranty $2479 minus 10% senior discount $247 minus free safety agreement$159 total $2232. They DID NOT SUBTRACT the safety comfort agreement or it would of been $2073. They came back 9 days later because mom heard a noise couldn’t duplicate noise but said discharge through well is leaking and they can get someone small to quote repair of line in crawl space. Mom did nothing because after purchasing this well my brother came home from a business meeting out of state and questioned her sanity. I took her to doctor to prove her sanity which she was sane but found out she had cancer.So fast forward to May 31,2022 they return per their maintenance agreement and sump pump discharge is still leaking and I’m at moms house caring for her. The employee there quotes her a price if $551 if on their plan or $661 if not on plan. So I tell my brother, 2 days later my brother and son go into the crawl space and for a total of $20 and 15 minutes work they replace the elbow of the sump pump discharge saving mom$531 or $631. The initial installation of the sump pump took 2 hours I looked up the sump pump with the battery back up on line it sells for $895 so labor on this job for two hours was $1337. They charge a flat rate on labor rather it be 1 hr. or 10 hr. that’s how they sock it to especially the elderly. I asked for at least a refund of the $159 that they didn’t subtract from the original agreement and was told no, we’ll give you another year maintenance. We don’t want these con artist near our homes ever again. The main reason my mom even called was because their $50 off a sump pump that runs in the REACH magazine every month.

He was fine at first but when I was trying to explain to him about my vents he didn’t want to listen and started walking away from me. Very condescending. Would not want he to return for any other services in the future.

Ok. I called for a estimate and was Told they were scheduled for a half day on the day I was free. BUT I was scheduled for 10a to noon.Noone showed. I had a estimate just prior to that so I had the phone nearby and was at my house waiting. I called back to reschedule since my daughter was adamant About getting a estimate from here.I was Told that someone tried to reach me at 6am, well I'm in bed at 6am so I did NOT hear that call. She also gave me a list of time's They had logged that someone tried to call. I did NOT show any of the calls in My Call log I mean none not even the 6am.Long story short I explained that I needed to get The estimate rescheduled and I was told someone would contact me for that. It's now day 3 And still no call. I did confirm They had my correct number.I'm sorry to say that we have decided to go with a different company. One that values the customer's time and follow through. I do not believe they had several attempts to contact me I think for whatever reason they had a half day They ran behind and was not able to get mine done. But to pass the blame, came up with all these time's they tried to contact me.They may have lower rates but with lower rates comes lower customer service. Do yourself a favor and call One of the other companies.We went with the one starting with a P And they have been 5 Star.

We needed a new water heater because the old one was leaking. Additionally, I discovered we had a gas leak with the pipe coming in from outside. Jon is very personable and helpful. He came earlier than originally scheduled to give estimate and then rescheduled installation of the new water heater for that day instead of the following Monday. The gentlemen that came to replace the water heater arrived on time and were very efficient, friendly and professional. They made a point of checking all gas line connections even up in the attic and even restarted the pilot light for our gas logs in the fireplace.

A/C not working, Gary determined cause and effect immediately with knowledge, system components check and detailed explanation of issues. I had to have my water heater replaced. Very impressed with his attention to detail. He dried and cleaned up the area before replacing the water heater. He was good about explaining the steps he was going through. He was very cordial and it was easy to tell he enjoys his job.

Andrew came out to fix a frozen spigot at my parent's condo. He did a great job of fixing the spigot. While he was there he noticed a gas leak in the garage. Very impressed overall. From start to finish, Summers exceeded my expectations. Originally called just for an AC tune up and the receptionist let me know of a package deal to save some money. No brained to me! They called the day before to confirm my appointment and called me the day of to let me know my technician was on the way along with a text of who my technician was with a picture (which is nice). Cecilia arrived on time and looked very professional. She was extremely knowledgeable with the systems and of course had recommendations of things to consider. Summer's Heating/ Plumbing and Air replaced my entire HVAC, sum pump, installed 3-bathroom faucets, installed a Halo air purifier and repaired and then ultimately replaced our gas water heater with a tank-less one. It was built on site. This was done over a year and a half period. The water heater developed a leak. They were quick in coming out to assess it and then repair the necessary part. Andrew, the technician, was very professional and explained what was going on well. Andrew was timely and asked several times if there was anything else he could help me with. That, for my husband and me, makes great customer service!

I was able to get my water heater installed the same day my quote was performed! Quick and easy, and Heath even unclogged my sink and fixed my garbage disposal as a favor! Very helpful and good customer service.

Ricky came over on a Saturday exactly when he said he would be there. He fixed the problem with no issues whatsoever. He has been to my house before, and I will always ask for him when I need work done, he is experienced, polite, very nice and friendly, a real professional. Our drain pipe split from deterioration, Summers was out to estimate in a few hours and scheduled us soon. They recommended an insurance approved remediation. I had to get a new A/C and furnace last summer and was very satisfied. As luck would have it, I go one of seven that had a problem and it went out during the snowstorm on a Saturday! Brandon was here quickly and had me with heat very soon! Then, I had been without hot water for a month, yes, you are reading that right. A long story regarding GE but I decided to hell with it and called Summers! Jon came Wednesday morning and Jason an TIm Thursday morning and I was back in hot water! Never have I been so glad to be in hot water! They also gave me more information, which I already had, but it helped to settle the issues with GE! My gracious friend with a beautiful shower will miss me but...I will not be a transient any longer!

I was surprised to have to spend $216 for a repair to my toilet that took 15 minutes and a $25 part. Also he would not separate parts and labor cost.

Any service that plumbers has provided for me (plumbing; heating; garbage disposal), has always been done effectively & in a timely manner, the cost for these services can be high, however I have never felt taken advantage of by Summer’s services.

Would recommend Summers to any and everyone. Great customer service, from the front office to the techs. Eric came out and not only serviced our air purifier but also answered a multitude of questions we had about the a/c units and how they functioned.Very knowledgeable and great guys. Boiler system required repair. They quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the igniter unit. Replacing that peace of equipment resolved my issue and fixed the unit.I am thankful that they had the knowledge and expertise needed to help me!

Keith was great. This was the water heater and plumbing annual maintenance service visit. They cleaned out our water heater and inspected our whole house plumbing. He went over everything with me and had some good recommendations for a couple of concerns I had. Definitely sticking with Summers for our preventive maintenance needs.

I thought Brandon did a great job and provided great feedback as to what my ac system was doing and what needed to change. I was just upset with the website not clarifying one of ac tune up items. It said Check refrigerant levels (add fluid if needed). Didn’t specify that it would be an additional cost just reads as if they were going to add some while they checked. Also, not that it’s Brandon’s fault but if I needed to add refrigerant he wouldn’t of been able to do so. It would of required another employee.

Gary came by for our annual AC tune up and, as usual, provided excellent customer service. He gave advice about how to keep the HVAC filter clean, let us know our AC is working just fine, cleaned the coils, and tightened up some bolts to keep it from rattling. We have a yearly inspection/maintenance plan with Summers that covers HVAC and plumbing. It's a very small investment for routine checkups. The plan does not cover major repairs. Recommendations made are usually overpriced (they have a captive audience) so we usually take it under advisement and shop around. The technicians are always courteous and professional. We usually renew our subscription with one of the techs so that they get credit for the sale. Overall, we are happy with the company and the service plan.

Allen was great. He was super friendly to my kid who just wanted to tell him all about his stuffed animals. He took a look at the systems and actually helped me figure out where an old leak was coming from that we couldn't figure out. He told me all the issues with my AC and explained that it wasn't a major issue yet but explained how it could become one and wasn't all salesy trying to push me to spend money.

I had 2 technicians at my home today to complete maintenance. Andrew Nathan and Rick Wilson were both very professional, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. We had a new furnace put in May 24, 2019, and have had problems ever since! The air conditioning has gone out twice now and it whistles because there's a hole in the coolant line their technicians could not find. I called to get service today and they are insisting on a service agreement while Indiana is almost 100° outside. As this furnance is barely 3 years old, shouldn't Summers want their units working? Or maybe Summers is ok with subpar units...

We've had Summers for several years now. We had new HVAC installed in the winter of 2017 and since then have had yearly maintenance inspections for HVAC and plumbing. Any time issues were discovered they were quickly addressed and fixed. The price and quality of work has been excellent each time. Would definitely recommend.

Dave Garza, a technician with Summers, got to my house around 11:00 p.m. and after checking everything out discovered the thermostat was not working correctly. I appreciated the time he took to examine the system. He explained some things about the system to me and recommended that I change filters every 4 months or so. He reminded me that I have an exceptional service policy with Summers and a lifetime warranty on the heat pump unit outside. My opinion on Summers has been changed from negative to positive after talking with him. He seems to be an exceptional service ambassador for Summers and I hope they are aware of that.

Jon Taylor, Plumbing Manager, inspected a punctured and cracked area on a wall in my family room. A major plumbing repair had been done in Spring, 2021, by Summers Plumbing in my bathroom, which is on the opposite side of the wall with the damaged area. The damaged spot was not discovered until recently due to being high on the wall and blocked by tall furniture and items. Mr. Taylor listened to my concern regarding the possibility that the family room wall was damaged when my bathroom tile, tub, toilet, etc., were being removed during prior repair work. He inspected both sides of the wall, took measurements, and informed me that the damage noted on the family room wall was in a higher location than where the prior repair work had been done in the bathroom. He continued to respond to more questions I asked, in a manner that I could understand, e.g., explain the layout of the drywall in the wall, 2x4s, etc., to support his belief that the damage on the family room wall was not a result of the previous plumbing project. Overall, Mr. Taylor was courteous, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and respectful.Sam did a plumbing repair needed on a bathroom sink, fixing the stopper and popup assembly. He also suggested and actually demonstrated use of a product to help prevent clogging in drains and pipes in all my sinks, tub, and toilets. Sam has done work previously at my home as well, and I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable as a plumber and gladly answers questions with helpful explanations. Sam also has a cheerful personality and is genuine in wanting was is best for you!

Horrible Experience with Summers at this location. I initially contacted the company after my thermostat failed and I was unable to replace it myself. The initial experience was great; it was after hours, they contacted promptly, advised me of typical costs for after hours vs normal hours, and I was able to get someone out the next day. They fixed the thermostat, realized the furnace was overheating and exchange was potentially damaged. They went through costs for repair vs replacement, informed me of all the risks and typical costs, allowed me time to think about it, and I felt comfortable having them install a new one. This is where things went south for me. One of the main reasons I opted to replace vs repair is that I was starting a new career and would not have any time off availability for about a month. I informed Summers of this several times, and they were very reassuring that they could get a team out to replace it on 12/8/18 with an inspector to make sure all was well and that I would not have to worry about it. I was told it would take a couple hours, which was great as I had a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. On 12/8/18 on installer shows up to install the entire thing by himself; it takes about 4.5 hours. No inspector was with him, which meant I had to take yet another day to have someone come out. When questioned, Summers response was we don't know why he wasn't there, sorry. On 12/14/18 the inspector came out and found 3 issues with the furnace that were done incorrectly, one of which was causing carbon monoxide to leak back into the home. Summers was resilient to come fix the issue, and after arriving seemed as if it was just a major inconvenience for them. The inspector even mentioned to me that he had had several issues with Summer's and has repeatedly told them not to use improper supplies when installing units, but they insist on doing it anyway. When I addressed this with Summers, the gentleman just rolled his eyes as if safety standards were overrated. Unfortunately on the first trip back to fix the issues, they could only fix 2/3 areas, and said they would send someone to repair it on the following Monday (12/17/18). I was home and available all day, no one called, no one showed up. When I called they would promise a call back to find out why no one would ever show, but I never received a call back. I was then told someone would be out Tuesday, but they sent a plumber instead of an hvac repairman. I was told they would come Wednesday, but again No one called or showed up. Eventually I had to contact the finance company that I financed the furnace through to file a complaint in order to get them to actually fix the issue. The whole experience was just a mess, I feel like Summers just pushes their incompetence off onto the customer and had I not been persistent, would have never finished the job properly.

PJ was great! He was able to get the AC working right away. He then got the WiFi thermostat set up. Overall he was super helpful and informative. Too bad he had to come out and repair a brand new unit.

The overflow drain of my tub had become dislodged and was causing water to leak through my ceiling into the kitchen. Brandon was super professional and quick. He had to cut a whole in the drywall, but it’s inconspicuous and only as big as he needed. He didn’t have the supplies he needed to fix the problem, so he quickly ran to the hardware store to buy what he needed and came back to finish the job. The leak was repaired and he tested it several times to double check his work. I can confirm after several uses that the leak is fixed!!

We had a new furnace installed last year and Summers has followed up with us to ensure all is well. We received a few things when purchasing such as a plumbing inspection and they called to remind us and get it scheduled. The technicians have been very helpful in answering all questions.

Mark Sanders was very friendly and informative to me as he re-vamped my electric furnace. It didn't take him very long to get a lot of work done. He set up a payment plan for me and also asked the office to call me about doing some electrical work in my house.

Summers was the 3rd HVAC company to visit my system within 6 months. They were very professional and treated me fairly. I was so impressed with the quality of their work that I joined their membership program and I will definitely use them again.

Please don’t sign a service agreement with Summers they will not show up once they get your money! It’s a shame that they call twice to confirm your appointment only to call you on the day of the appointment to reschedule! This happened to me twice in the same calendar year! Their technicians take a lot of time off, and are not able to do your scheduled appointment! Also, if you don’t have a service agreement then they will charge you more, and if they need to come back for more service they will charge you more just to come back! This company only takes from customers! Find another HVAC company. Summers is low grade!

Here to rave about this company!! We had a bad busted pipe a while back and after calling our original plumbing company, Service Plus, (which supposedly took emergency calls at the time we decided to become members of their program) never called us back (massive let down), we googled Summers and called them. Someone showed up very fast and fixed the issue. A+Then we decided to get the whole house re-plumed with pex pipe and went with Summers again, so far, all is great. They were fast, knowledgeable, clean, and all the guys were professional looking and polite. Now we are getting the toilet pulled and reset due to a new bathroom floor installation. I had to call them early this morning to check what time the plumber is coming but had to leave a message, as they were not open yet. I got a call back from them at 8:05am! Now that is service!! I love that this company actually listens to their voicemails and relies so quickly. A++Summers is not cheap, they are not discount bottom of the barrel, and it might not be the company for you if you want things done “super cheap”. If you are wanting quality, excellent customer service, promptness, professionals who know their stuff, and knowing they will be there for you in an emergency then Summers is the way to go! A+++

I brought them to my work after the great work on my home. Brandon did a great job troubleshooting our system.

I contacted Summers to get an estimate to replace our garbage disposal. They would not quote any pricing over the phone, saying a technician had to be onsite to provide pricing. However, the tech came to the house, looked at the garbage disposal for less than a minute and said it needed a full replacement. He didn't test it to see if leaked as I suggested or probe any further. He then pulled out a pricing book with all kinds of repairs and what their standard pricing is. Why is this pricing not available over the phone? The technician was quick and efficient with the install which makes you wonder how they charge over $500 for a garbage disposal replacement. Shame on me for not doing my research on what is reasonable pricing but shame on Summers for not providing transparent and fair pricing.

It's high anxiety whenever I need to call any services man. Service person, Gary just left after repairing my AC. I don't usually give 5 stars but Gary was personable and understanding. He explained what he was doing and allowed my close examination. Gary ifentified several options for me. I could not afford to replace my 16 year old unit but he was able to get it going for a very reasonable price. I'll eventually need to replace the unit. I'm recommending Summers for you and for myself.

Team was nice and friendly but their craftsmanship was horrible. We figured we were paying for the best when we got our new furnace installed. Unfortunately they left pipes blowing in the wind, the ran it through our attic and took the easiest route possible. In doing so our storage area up there was diminished. Next time I'll hire the weird neighbor guy before I hire these less than professionals.

We just started using Summers about a year ago. Called them for a plumbing issue. They came back and did our heating and A/C checks later. Very professional, prompt, polite. Had to call today as our A/C condensation line was clogged and overflowing. Gary was out here with a quick response time. Had the line cleared fairly quickly. Explained what had happened to cause the issue. Gary is very polite and professional. Solved our problem. Would recommend them to everyone.

Very positive experience and great service...needed main drain cleaned out today at my office due to backing up and flooding and they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Plumber Andrew Nathan was courteous, personable and efficient which makes a tough, tough situation much easier to endure. The office staff (over the phone) was also great. All I can say is I have used Just Drains in the past, but I now have become a Summers Plumbing convert.

Terrible, terrible experience with this company. My air was not cool. Summer's technician told me that I needed 2 relay fuses $100 each, 1lb of freon $100. He said the unit needed cleaned and the parts/labor would be $200. Five hundred total. I simply ordered one of his so called $100 relay fuses, installed it myself and wala! Cold air. I called Summer's back out to check over my work. Same tech. came out and said, wow! You cleaned it, got freon and everything. How'd you do all that? I told him what I did and told him he lied. It never needed cleaned and I don't have a license to buy freon. You just lied. He kept pretending like I wasn't the same guy who took his first visit. I called management to report this technician and management was very rude. Demanded their money and said there's nothing we can do for you. This experience left a deep fear of heating and air repair services in me. The next time I had a problem, I was so afraid to call any heating/air service. So I bought 2 window units. I eventually took a chance on One Hour Heating and Air, who took care of my situation honestly and very professionally. Summer's technician was a short African American guy. I believe his name was Ron. Don't trust him.

On Thursday, 2-6-2020, Rick Wilson of Summers arrived to do an furnace tuneup. He did a very through job of checking each componet and made sure all temperature were within parameters. He also answered questions relating to other work I had Summers do and set up an appointment to get issues check. Overall a very good expierience.

I write reviews infrequently, but I feel it is worth sharing how much I appreciate what Mark at Summers did for us. Indy was getting one last blast of summer heat in September, and of course our 19 year old AC died on Saturday at 5 pm. Most places told me it would be Monday until they could fix it, but Mark said he could do it, and he got in his truck and got here quick. He worked on Saturday night for 3 hours to get our AC working. He was also totally honest about pricing: labor was as quoted and the motor was expensive, but he charged exactly what he said he would. HVAC isn't cheap, but when it hits 90 degrees at night, I am willing to pay for an honest quote and some like Mark who works hard to get it done. I am going to sleep tonight 4 hours later with a working AC instead of waiting until Monday--I say that's worth it!

I have always had good experiences with Summers starting from the first visit I had with technician, Gary, to the most recent with Mark. I appreciate the reminder calls, the courtesy of their staff and their willingness to go above and beyond when necessary.

Both are incredibly friendly, explained my service and status in a way I could understand and with a couple recommendations for future items to look out for. A pleasure as always. Horrifying experience, called for a tune up and got taken for a ride. Technician found tiny crack in heat exchanger and disabled system. Left us without heat for a day on top of having technician physically threaten me on my own property. Technician went out of his way to screw us over. Wouldnt get off my property and I had to threaten to call police. On top of that, technician turned off gas valve to my gas fireplace which was our only alternative source of heat. All he needed to do was restore my furnace to working order and check for carbon monoxide and have me sign a waiver. I was seriously concerned for my safety and thought things were going to get physical. Owner did nothing to reprimand technician nor did he apologize for leaving us with a disabled furnace in 30 degree temps. Had to pay another company to restore our heat. Technician refused to get off my property after sabotaging unit and taunting me into a physical altercation.

Eric was punctual, considerate, and respectful. Covered what services were performed and suggested services we should consider. Impressed with his knowledge and ability to communicate pertinent information.

Only Company I will ever use and it's because of the caliber of high quality people they employ. Had some standing water by my water heater and had Chris came out. He showed up an hour before the scheduled window. He did a thorough inspection, unclogged the pipe and determined it wasn't a crack with the water heater-which was great news. We then went over options for a water softener which I will purchase from Summers in the near future. Chris knows everything there is to know about water softeners and is the biggest reason I will purchase from Summers.I was concerned that there was some water that had leaked into the plenum of my furnace. He called dispatch and within one hour there was an HVAC Tech at my house, David G. He did a full inspection of my unit and determined there was no damage and further there was only one trip charge which was nice. He then went over options for upgrading my UV light and resealing my unit and addressed all my concerns and answered every quesstion. Again, he struck me as a very competent Professional who is an encyclopedia of the subject matter.If you want a thoroughly competent, professional, with no up-sell gimmicks that knows what they are doing; call and ask for Chris-Plumbing or David G.-HVAC. They are the exact type of employees I would want if I owned a business like Summers and do an outstanding job representing their Company.

Bought a $10,000 furnace and air conditioner from Summers. Even had an additional outlet installed in a room that after installed doesnt even put out enough airflow to help heat or cool room so that $600.00 was a bonus for them. Last week during the windstorm and rain the power went off at our house. It was off for 36 hours. When power was restored the new furnace would come on but no heat was coming out. Because we only had the furnace installed at the end of August i called Summers and was told that a service man would come out to see what was wrong. Yes I was told there could be a charge but more than likely no charge because it would be covered under the warranty. Well $132.00 later I was told that something had been tripped and the charge was to untrip it and get it running. I was charged this amount because it was an Act of God that the storm happened and my power went off. After complaining to 2 different service managers that I didn't think I was treated fairly and charged too much nothing was done. I left 2 messages on the main Service Manager's phone and never got a call back. Really great customer service Summers. The office staff was always nice and helpful. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Oh and yes if power goes out again I WILL have to pay the same charges again.

We had a terrible experience with this company. After being a customer on a maintenance schedule for many years, we called and cancelled our plan because we moved. They never contacted us that cancelling by phone was unacceptable and sent us a bill. When we called to explain we moved and cancelled before we moved and shouldn’t have to pay for service for a house we didn’t live in, they forced us to pay. Never again!

I love Summers, they have done an amazing job with managing the air quality in my house. My daughter was sick and needed to have a pure air system. We had a Reme filter system installed in the house 3 years ago and just had the air quality checked by an outside company..... to make sure it is still working efficiently . They said we have air as pure as a hospital. Perfect!

It was time for my furnace maintenance tuneup. Summers sent out Rick to do the job. Rick was punctual, professional, and very informative as he laid out options for perhaps upgrading my furnace filter setup in the future. Typical HVAC scammers.Called because my evaporator coil was freezing up even after replacing the filter and cleaning the coil myself. The tech that came said I was bone dry on refrigerant, yet the coil was freezing and my compressor was running (not on limit). He said I would need about 6 lbs of r-22 at an INSANE markup (I could have went and a 30 lb jug of the stuff cheaper than what he wanted for 6 lbs) , and funny because my unit only holds 5 lbs of freon. Proceeded to tell me that there was leak on the condensing unit (because of some rust?) as well as the a-coil, and that both would need to be replaced. Yet the tape I used on the door to seal it back up after cleaning the coil was untouched. Sure guys, let me just fork over $3000 or whatever he asked to replace everything so you can install a 410a condensing unit and the required evaporator to go with it, all because it needed less that a half pound of R-22 and is now running well? Scam.

The Summer's a/c fellow came to do the seasonal cleaning and tune up on my a/c unit. What a scammer. He was certain I had to buy a whole new a/c unit. Mine was so old there wasn't refrigerant available any more and the unit wasnt efficient. About the refrigerant no longer being available, that is NOT true. He lied to me. Then while he was inside in my mechanical room cleaning the a/c unit, he turned off the gas supply to the furnace, SO come winter I'd need a new furnace when my current one wouldnt work. I found that out when it wouldnt turn on in late Oct. Luckily, I'd refused to have the Summers HVAC fellows back. I didnt want to be told I needed a new furnace . When a new HVAC man (not from Summers) came to do the seasonal cleaning, he told me all the old furnace needed was the gas turned back on. Think twice before you call Summers for a/c or heating work, then dont.Bobbie Winkle

WE HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH OUR A/C UNIT AND RICK AND MATT WORKED ON OUR SYSTEM FOR OVER 4 HOURS. THEY WERE DILIGENT ABOUT GETTING IT TO WHERE IT NEEDED TO BE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH ALL OF THE REPAIRS THAT SUMMERS HAS PROVIDED FOR US. WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG I ONLY HAVE TO MAKE ONE PHONE CALL !
