Overpriced. Charged $200 to pull and replace a bad element (that is almost 1/3 of the installed price of the complete water heater he put in several years earlier). He was here approximately 25 minutes. When I asked the repairman why so high, he said the truck charge alone was $150. An element averages $15.
Response to Mark: Your repairman did not flush the tank. All he did was quickly pull the old element and stick in the new one. Things are not that tough for me; I just don't like to be overcharged, and I obviously thought I was in this instance. Your guy spent some time in his truck while preparing the receipt. I would assume he would have contacted you to discuss the fact that I was unhappy with the charge since, as I told him, was almost 1/3 of the original heater that was installed in 2007. It does not need to be replaced. It just needed the element. Is the truck chg really $150?
11/29/17 response: Mark, changing your original response and continuing to insult me, in my opinion, is not a very professional move for any business owner. Do you honestly feel that any customer, or potential customer, who desires a fair price deserves to be told You know., if times have gotten that tough for you? Reminds me of an auto dealership where, after negotiating for the best price on an Escalade, the manager made a similar statement by suggesting we look to a lesser vehicle if we could not afford it. We walked out and bought the Escalade elsewhere. Not a good move by any owner or manager.

The water in the toilet in our master bathroom would not stop running. John with Plumbdoctor was able to quickly pinpoint the issue over the phone. John arrived on time and was very clean. I needed a new refrigerator so I bought one from Sears. Big mistake. It took them three weeks to install and wouldn't set up waterline. My water line is in basement. They told me I needed a shut off valve. Well I called John Fowler plumber because they had come before. Well they came out and fixed my rusty valve and then came out hooked my water line. I will keep them on file. Ran a little slow in getting here but they did not cancel like so many companies.companies

On time, pleasant, Professional, good price, completed all the work, gave advice based on his experience in the industry, gave a couple of quotes on options for future work but wasn't pushy about selling an extra service.

They have lied about water issues repeatedly. We have had standing water in our apartment for a day and a half because they don’t know how to snake a drain properly. They lied and told the apartments they were done and fixed the issue when they didn’t so our apartment flooded again for a 2nd time.

All of the guys that I talked to and that worked at my house was extremely great guys!!! I would like to thank all of them for their great work! I will definitely be recommending them.

Lance was on site repairing my air conditioning with 2 hours of my initial phone call. He identified the issue quickly and corrected the problem.

It’s only day one of our heat pump install but within a few hours we are already so much more comfortable than before. Finally able to turn off our space heaters and enjoy the heat provided by a much more efficient system! Jeff was excellent in providing the estimate and analyzing our specific needs and also communicating after to answer all of my many questions. Andrew and Jorge were professional, courteous and efficient in their installation work. Would highly recommend this company for HVAC needs!
