Best Residential Service Call in Phoenix AZ

We had a very good experience with Kevin from A.P.E.S. He arrived on time and was very professional. We recently had a kitchen remodel so he had to install shut off valves, garbage disposal, kitchen faucet, etc.. All are working great.

Excellent professional service. Explained in detailed what was required for the maintenance. Provided discount signing up for the maintenance plan. I would use again for service.

An outside faucet had a crack in the side. Robert came quickly, faster than I thought possible and made an immediate assessment and returned soon with a replacement faucet and quickly soldered the rupture. He was friendly, professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend to anyone who needs emergency assistance. Thanks again!

I originally decided to not leave a review as it would be negative. Because Goettl could not repair my AC, I was to get a full refund (less the service fee). For 3 weeks, I have been told my refund has been processed. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Being lied to and taken advantage of has really upset me and I do not want others to have this happen.

3 weeks ago, I contacted Goettl as my AZ blower motor stopped working. I have a 4.5 year old unit. The operators were pleasant and was able to get me an appointment the next day which was on a Saturday. The tech showed up and determined it was the blower motor. He then proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with the unit and all that needs to be done. As a property manager of 20 years, managing thousands of units, I knew this was all a sales pitch and all that was needed was a motor (which is still under warranty by the manufacturer. I agreed to have them repair the blower motor to get me up and running.

Before collecting my payment, the major sales pitch started. I was told I should get just get a whole new unit and ductwork (again, AC and ductwork is all brand new 4.5 years ago) and they could get me on a monthly payment plan for a whopping $12,000.00!! He then said my unit was so dirty, it would have to be fully chemically cleaned should I decide to keep it. Again, as a property manager I know the importance of home maintenance and I have maintained and cleaned the coils on an annual basis. He took my credit card payment of nearly $1600 up front so they could order and install the motor once received.

I agreed again, to just have the motor put in as it was supposed to be warm and needed my AC running.

Monday, I received a call from someone from the office stating they would not be able to get my unit up and running until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER!! There was a shortage of variable speed motors, and they just could not do anything else- but again, they could fully replace the unit. The other option was for them to place a temporary blower fan in my unit for ANOTHER $1600! I said this was unacceptable and to refund my money less the service call, to which I agreed.

The next day, I contacted another AC Service Company (A&C Services by Able), a licensed, bonded, insured company with the owner having 30 plus years AC experience. Within less than 48 hours, they were able to retrieve the new motor (paid for under warranty, by the way), get to my house, and install. My unit was up and running with an OEM motor, covered by warranty, within 48 hours, all for $260!!

Goettl charged my $1600 and was telling me it would be 2 month until they could repair. But again, they could sell me an entire new unit!

I contacted Goettl 4 (four) times asking about my refund. For 3 weeks, I was told it was in process. As of date- I have no refund and was forced to place a dispute with my credit card company.

I had high hopes for Goettl but was sorely disappointed. Again, I was not going to leave a negative review although their pricing is out of line and certainly, they take advantage of people. Shame on you, Goettl. You need to do better!

Who'd like to bet now this review was written, I will get a call back regarding my refund!?

I found this company on Yelp, and searched for companies with high ratings from customers. I was very impressed with the company from the first visit! Very professional, friendly and helpful all the way through the transaction. Even after I tried to cancel on them with less than a week before install ??????. I decided to go through with it, and I am so glad I did. Great system, and GREAT customer service.

Amazing service! Reliant, professional and prompt with great customer service. Jessica was truly outstanding and went out of her way to help us when our heating went out during the Holiday. Charged me $100 for service call just to tell me they don’t have the tools to get into the electrical unit under the AC. This was 1 month after they charged me $65 for a “tune-up” and inspection that didn’t discover this problem. Will not use again.

UPDATE: Had Parker & Sons come out 2 hours after Just Air and they had the unit back up and running in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely zero need to access the junction box referenced before. On top of that, they charged $0 as a second opinion. I don’t think this is a name calling match anymore (James, the tech, called me a jerk via text because I left a critical review), I just honestly don’t trust Just Air’s work. They took my money and made no attempt to earn that money.

From start to finish they did everything they said they would when they said they would. Everything was cleaned up and removed. Our new unit is wirjipking great! Veterans discount available. Thanks for the great service!

We had a problem with one of the laundry room exhaust fans, they made the repair and did an awesome job. The guys that came were polite and did a great job making the repair.

Excellent overall very professional and knowledgeable Aaron Miranda was are technician very nice and very kind.

Service tech was professional he was more interested in the work he needed to do then in trying to sell me stuff I didn't need made good recommendations and I thought that his advice was well given and well received by me I have his company on his recommendation coming in to give me a bid on a new system so maybe I'll get another chance to do another review if they end up installing the system for me but the service guy did a good job can't remember his name but kudos to you dude you're a great service guy

Manny called and showed up when expected. He was very polite and professional. Found a leak and fixed it, and we are ready for the AZ summer! :)

Our technician was excellent. He arrived on time and performed the work completely. He was knowledgeable and helpful. The job was to disconnect the gas stove, so it seemed a bit pricey, but we were satisfied with his work timely and professional work.

Above par did an awesome job on repairing my air condition. They were patient and professional. Took their time to make sure everything was done right. I was working with Clay the owner and that was a surprise to actually have the owner doing the work.

Shane did an outstanding job replacing the HVAC system on the roof and the Air Handler in our unit. He was professional, curteous, knowledgeable and informative. He was on time and managed the entire project from start to finish. Shane demonstrated the customer service skills that any business would be proud to have associated with them.

Today I had a technician by the name of Chris come over and inspect my air conditioner for me. He was knowledgeable friendly and very professional the whole time he was here. He explained to me what was going on with my air conditioner in a way that I understood it and was in and out and help me to resolve my issue fairly quickly! I would definitely recommend them to anybody that is needing air conditioning service. They're very understanding I am so grateful I have found them.

Howard Air came recommended to me and I'm very satisfied with their service, I will be forever using this company! I was pleased from the moment I called to set up an appointment and spoke with Victor. He was very pleasant and set me up not trying to hard sell me on a maintenance package right away assuring me that the technician would be the same way, telling me only what needed to be done and give recommendations for the future. He was right, Shawn, the technician who came out to do the AC maintenance, was very friendly. He also wore a mask and booties on his shoes in my home which I thought was very responsible and respectful. When he was finished, he told us how the inspection went and that everything was good for now and what he recommended for the future of our units along with the service plan that would fit our needs. The Best part was, he didn't pressure us to sign up for the plan at that moment, giving us time to think, which I very much like. I couldn't be happier and definitely recommend checking out Howard Air for your needs!
