Just had the pleasure of using the service from Penguin Air. They were fast and efficient. Particularly Sean delancey as an Air tech. He was very professional, and helpful, was very considerate using shoe covers, and I found him to have a good work ethic. They resolved our AC issue within a few hours, whilst other companies such as professors of plumbing and air, gave us a terribly extortionate quote and said they couldn't really help. Kurt as the electrician was also very good! He fixed our circuit breaker. I am so impressed with this company, and hope to use their service again!

We decided to call this service after our main pipe was accidentally drilled into. Robert was willing to take on the job and came out right on time to provide a diagnosis and quote to fix. His communication was great and he explained everything which was reassuring and he also provided options. The same day service was phenomenal. We have running water again! Highly recommend! A++!

Our house was up to 87 degrees inside. Garret came quite early in our timeframe window and was totally friendly and professional.He got our house cooling in no time, and it was an overall great experience. Highly recommend him as a technician, and will definitely use them again in the future.Only downside is they are open here 8-5pm, but in this AZ heat, they’d probably be working all night long if not. They are very responsive when they get in at 8 am. So while we did wait until morning, it was a great experience with how efficient he got the job done. Super grateful. ?

We so very appreciate this company’s quick response and great customer service . But we really are blown away by RYAN the Technician who was called out to us. Very knowledgeable , helpful, informative , and friendly . I really can’t say enough about him. My husband and I had the worst experience last summer with a company called Air Standards . When Ryan got on our roof their was sparks flying off the unit ! Needless to say this company had installed some new parts incorrectly and set us up to fail and burn . So Ryan’s honesty is truly appreciated . That’s all we ask for , especially when it comes to keeping our houses cool for the summer. We appreciate him not taking advantage of the situation . It’s a no wonder this company has great ratings. Desert Diamond all the way !

More like Valley's worst. My home warranty picked this company for my AC not cooling issue last month. 5 weeks, 2 start capacitors, 1 control board, 90° nights of restless sleep. I, my wife and 2 daughters were duped. Conversations with Chase were not optimistic, but felt like he was blaming me for a faulty ac. Are you kidding me. They just put bandaids on. I received authority to change service companies, my AC is working tonight after a new condenser fan motor was installed. It took 1 hour to do the job right. Could've saved weeks of misery. Beware! Don't hire these guys. They will lie to you about amp readings to not have to do their jobs. Pretty obvious what the problem was said our new hvac company.

It was more than a Good experience . . . it was Great! During the initial visit, Kevin diagnosed the problem and also figured out a temporary solution until the replacement part could be ordered and installed. Later, the owner called me personally to let me know the part was in and would be installed soon. Jesus and Chris arrived for the replacement and were efficient, friendly and left the work area clean. So thankful for the great customer service and expertise! I highly recommend this company!

I have known about and utilized SG Mechanical for few years for my residential needs. I have found everyone I have had contact with to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

We were referred to Mark, owner of Cactus Mechanical, through a mutual friend when soliciting several bids to replace two 3-ton split-gas A/C systems in our 15-year-old home. Mark is one of the most down-to-earth, honest, and patient A/C contractors you’ll ever have the pleasure of working with. Their “best pricing first” is fair (not so cheap that you’ll think he’s cutting corners, but not sticker-shock high either), the equipment options are a great value (they use the sister brands of major labels that come with the same quality without the brand-name markups), and he’s proud of the fact that he pays his guys well to ensure they stick around.
When bidding on the job, he also identified a common installation problem from the home builder and offered to correct it during the replacement, improving airflow to a couple of hot rooms. Beyond that, he didn’t pad the invoice with unwanted thermostats, maintenance contracts, or high-end systems that offered poor ROI for the time we expect to remain in this home. Because his distributor’s pricing improved during the bid process, he was able to revise the quote and pass some significant savings onto us.

When the time came for install, one of the two outdoor units arrived at his shop slightly damaged by a forklift. He was quick to let us know and gave us the option of splitting the install or doing it all at once. We took the option to replace one of the two systems which were inoperative to ensure we’d be comfortable as the spring temperatures were forecasted to climb, then replace the other system a week later when it arrived at his distributor.

For the actual install, from start to finish, his crew was efficient and performed quality workmanship. Each of the two 3-ton split gas A/C and furnace systems we replaced in our home were removed and replaced in an average of 4 hours each, including puling new thermostat wire to my two ecobee 4 thermostats to properly support two-stage operation (not the easiest job since the wire wasn’t readily accessible). From initial contact to job completion, Mark personally kept us in the loop with scheduling, equipment delivery status, and work completion times, and I never once felt uncomfortable or “in the dark” with the work or what was going on. Every install requires photos to add to the customer file to ensure the job was done right the first time. He was onsite at the start of the first job, and the completion of the second.

I would highly recommend considering Cactus Mechanical for any residential and commercial HVAC job in the valley (they do a lot of radio and cellular tower cooling systems too). You won’t be disappointed!
