Destry was amazing. He first had to come out days before Christmas Eve to try and fix our oven. He was great about communicating when he was coming, what was going on and what he needed to do. Was able to a temporary fix to get us through the Christmas while we waited for the major part to come in. Came out today and completed the fix. Thank you so very much.

Our aging a/c had a multitude of issues and our downstairs was quite warm. We had 2 different a/c repairman out and both couldn't fix it and recommended a new a/c. We lined up quotes from these and other companies including Penguin Air. What impressed us about Penguin Air was Jeramie came out on a Sunday afternoon while others either didn't call back or were not available until Monday. He came out gave us a quote which was considerably less then the other two. He also gave us 3 years service on top of that quote. It was also a plus that the install could happen Monday morning. Jeramie was professional and honest. The install team was wonderful. Jake was fantastic. Our a/c initially was having trouble when it started, difficulty cooling right away. I called Jake and he came back out to take a look. Jake tested it and it all tested correctly. It was still have trouble later that evening, we called and Jace (?) came back out and put a hard starter on and added more Freon. Apparently it was too hot to test the Freon levels accurately in the day. Whatever the reason, this seemed to fix it. I appreciate that the install/tech answered and came back out and that when we still had trouble the warranty tech came right out. Excellent service all around. Very pleased.

Had a quality tech named Grayson come out and fix my AC. Gave me three different options I could choose from to fix my AC and was very detailed with the pros and cons of each option. Walked me through exactly what he was doing and took a video after explaining what was replaced and why. Definitely will be requesting his service again in the future

Kevin was incredibly thorough, and made sure he checked everything before offering what we should do. After the installation of parts he went through what he did and how it corrected the problem. This has been the best experience we have had with an A/C company.

My name is Kim and Over the years I have had several AC companies look at my air conditioning unit and fill it with Freon or tell me that the Freon SR22 would no longer be available and the ONLY option was to replace the unit. I had someone refill the Freon in 2020 and they said that I had a small leak and the coil pans were rusted. I had two separate technicians, this month that added more Freon and told me that the pans were rusty and that I apparently had a big leak in the coil’s… when 1st Choice Mechanical was recommended to me by my son-in-law, Tim came out and did a full assessment and provided a video and pictures of what it looked like in my attic. He explained every option possible for me to repair or replace my air conditioning unit and at the time my home was 88° and had been that way for about a week. Tim suggested replacing the unit, repairing the unit, financing the cost, and several other options. I chose to finance the replacement of the coils where the leak was. The pricing was extremely reasonable. I had no idea that the pans were rusted to this extent. It looked absolutely disgusting and I am so disappointed that no one ever explained the extent of the damage that had taken place in my attic. Tim and Brandon arrived early in the morning and went to work. They checked in with me throughout the entire process. They shop vac’d my carpet and stairs, they wore foot coverings, they were so kind and professional. OMG! This company is amazing and should be on CNN HEROES… I felt so blessed to have them do the repair and I am so thankful to my son in law for the referral. Do not waste your time calling any other company because I can guarantee you that no one is as good or professional, friendly, expedient or experienced as 1st Choice Mechanical

I sold my house and had to have an home inspection. The inspector noted that I needed 3 screws in to secure the flue pipe in place. A friend of mine recommended me to call A&M. Talked to Amy, she was very helpful and pleasant. She stated that the screws are not recommended for these types of pipes. After A&M did the required preventative maintenance on my HVAC units, Amy went above and beyond and called the flue pipe manufacturer and distributor, the City inspector, an experienced home inspector, as well as combing thru code books and found nothing to support the home inspectors requirement for screws. She even called my home inspector. She sent me the code language for interlocking B vents and it did state that one should not use screws. I will definitely use A&M again.

We have used S & G Mechanical for years. Our contractor referred them to us. They do a great job, show up when they say they will, and their costs are reasonable. I highly recommend them!

Cactus installed my AC system and I learned after they installed it they used too small of a return. They made an extra hole in my roof and patched it with just silicone. I bought a warranty from them and was told it was manufacture and never given further information. They came out and repaired a fuse one and now are trying to find a leak in the AC. I feel like they don't do their job well or communicate well. I got a little more info on the warranty but not much. Also the man who came out today did not wear a mask and was smoking while working on my roof. He's very unprofessional. I wish I'd never used them. I'll update when the work is done but so far I'm not feeling confident.

We needed a new AC but they replaced all the parts and now it's running like new! King Mechanical, LLC was quick to help us with our needs. They also installed a new thermostat and it didn't take long at all. I highly recommend them. Very friendly, on time, inexpensive and fast!!!

Scottsdale Air has serviced our A/C for 15 years and has not disappointed in any way. We are having a new Trane unit installed by them.
