Scott Koches was the technician who diagnosed our upper unit. For consistency, Hobaica sent him back to fix the worn out parts (from what they described, it may prove challenging to replace). Scott & his assistant made it seem effortless! They fixed the AC unit & now it’s running so quietly like new! Scott also shared that he is furthering his knowledge about his trade by going to school to learn more. THAT is what impressed us the most! Good on you, Scott! Had this company come out after a horrible experience with D&G Appliance. From the moment 1st choice mechanical came out, I knew my experience would be so much better than the other company. I contacted A & M Mechanical a couple years ago to have my A/C serviced after meeting Amy at a Greater Phoenix Chamber event. Mark came out a week or so later and gave my old (18+ yrs) unit a thorough inspection and cleaning. He was the most friendly and knowledgeable A/C person I've met. He probably could have convinced me to replace my system at that time, but was very honest and said there was nothing wrong with it that he could see, and I could probably get another few years of use until it finally just gives out from age.

I went another two years with the same unit until I decided to proactively replace it this past winter for peace of mind and energy savings. The entire process was great from start to finish. Amy was awesome on the quote and pricing stage and Mark and his team did a great job on installing the unit over the course of two days. They install American Standard systems, and while they are not the cheapest out there, they have a great reputation for dependability. The new system is so much quieter, and I imagine will save me big time when summer hits in a couple months.

To sum things up, if you're looking for a bargain-basement deal, then you should probably look elsewhere. However, if you want an honest, friendly, competitive, knowledgeable and professional experience then go with confidence and give A & M a call today!! Best of all, you'll be supporting a GPC member!

I am soooo impressed! John arrived when he said he would, knew exactly what was wrong with our a/c unit, pulled the part off the truck and had it working in about 10 minutes! I reached out to this company on a Thursday night and I had a new AC installed by Tuesday. What unbelievable service they provided. I had 2 other AC companies come out and provide estimates and Cactus Mechanical blew their quotes out of the water. Do not get a new AC without reaching out to them and save yourself thousands.

I collected many bids for replacing the A/C heat pump package for my home.  I found Francisco Marquez of King Mechanical to be the most competitive.  I don't usually take the lowest bid, but  when he came out to my home I felt more comfortable with him than any other vendor.  There was no pushiness.  He was very informative.  I purchased a nest thermostat and he installed it when he installed my A/C system.  He even taught me how to use this high tech stuff, and didn't ask to get paid for that.  Very clean work, and very professional.  His price was all inclusive, and there were no hidden fees.
Even though his business is relatively new, he advised me he has worked many years in this profession.  I got a good review from the board of registered contractors when I called to inquire about his company.
