They were very efficient and very polite they didn’t even stopped to take a break and cleaned up everything before they left. I’m very satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Mike was dispatched quickly and when he arrived he was very clean cut and friendly and was able to give me confidence in his expertise. He troubleshot the problem and was able to locate a part within the state. he made arrangements for it to be shipped. he arrived the next day and installed the part quickly and had us running again. Mike was extremely professional and polite and I would request him again and recommend him to everybody else

We had to have a Technician to come out and look at our a/c which was not putting out cool air.Nate came out promptly and he explained to us what happened. I contacted my home warranty company because one of the HVAC units seems to be working harder, still cooling but turns on more then the other unit. Fidelity dispatched North Valley Mechanical to diagnose my HVAC (2 units). My daughter lives in this house. While North Valley tech was at the house she called to tell me the tech said the units are very dirty and would not proceed until they cleaned both units for $300 per unit. He was impatient with her and left after I said no to spending $600 before they would diagnose the units. I immediately called Fidelity to ask what my recourse was. I was told I could have any company clean the units. I contracted Bell AC to clean both units. Which Bell cleaned and also provided a detailed diagnosis of both units. Bell AC agreed the units are dirty, but not $300 per unit dirty. Also, we had the furnace looked at, via Fidelity, end of 2019. Not at any time were we told the units were dirty beyond the norm; it turned out to be the thermostat. After North Valley came back out, after Bell AC cleaned and diagnosed the units, North Valley is still saying the units are too dirty and will not service until they clean them. At this time, I am on hold with Fidelity to determine the next steps. I no longer want North Valley Mechanical near my units. Because of their conduct, I have no confidence they can properly diagnose what Bell AC already provided to me. Fidelity is reviewing if they can send another vendor or not.Update 8/26/2020: Fidelity will send another vendor to do the work North Valley Mechanical was dispatched to do twice and refused.

Their staff and technicians are always the best, they get the job done promptly, and do an excellent clean up after. They also follow all the mask and distancing protocols. My 3 years old (still under warranty) water heater was not working so I called them to take a look and fix it. Scheduling was for the following day. The technician arrived and said it would take a while to diagnose so I went on with my work and let him do the diagnose. After approx 1 hour, the tech told me that it would take around 3 hours of labor to fix it and the parts were under warranty, and quoted me around $1300 for 3 hours of labor. But, that was just a tactic because he was trying to sell me a new water heater for around the same price! Instead if trying to fix my water heater they tried to sell me a new one and if I didn't want one I had to pay a $89 evaluation fee. Funny how I was told that they don't really do small repairs(like mine) but they usually focus on replacing not fixing. I wish I would have been told that before scheduling the appointment. Anyways, I don't think that the technician did much to evaluate my water heater because almost half of the time he was in the van talking on the phone, and his testing / tool kit was never open when I was going to check on him(at least 3 times in 1 hour). I think they tried to sell me a new unit and since I didn't want to, I got charged $89 just to be told they don't do small repairs.
If you are in a need of a small repair, be sure to avoid them and find someone else.

I called the emergency line on Saturday at 7:25PM because my AC had stopped working and the house was at 86 degrees. I spoke to Chase, and he was able to get my house on the list for the following day on Sunday at 4:00PM. The AC was fixed very quickly within 15 minutes and the house has began cooling down. Thank you for your speedy service in under 24 hours. It was very important to me to get the AC fixed as quick as possible as I have a puppy. I definitely recommend this company and will share with anyone else who needs repairs or AC help.

Honest and Thorough!

I recently had a different company inspect my three HVAC units for summer preparations. The inspecting company gave me a long list of things that needed to be repaired along with a very large estimate for the cost. Some of the work needing to be done was to replace one unit’s warrantied coil, duct leak repairs, new disconnect switch, new unit in our casita with a heat pump, and create a return in our kitchen to alleviate the strain on one of our units. Due to the number of repairs and the cost of the entire job, I sought a second opinion through Home Advisor.

Gerardo from Sun Devil Heating and Cooling, Inc. quickly phoned me and agreed to come by the next morning. After reviewing the list of maintenance items, as well as inspecting that all were required, Gerardo assured us that he could complete the job in a day and presented us with a cost that seemed more inline with what we felt the job should cost, including the unit replacement for our casita.

The crew that came to do the work were courteous, pleasant, upbeat, and such a pleasure to work with. Alex, Roy, Alfonso, and Jeff took care of my home while they were here, even doing a thorough clean up before leaving. When they put in the new return in the kitchen, they were sure to mask all the other areas in plastic to avoid a dusty mess in our kitchen. I truly appreciated their attention to details like this. They were efficient and I felt like they truly partnered with me to make sure the air in my home would be perfect. There was an issue with the new casita unit because the original builder made a shortcut in the installation of the original unit. The metal box in the ceiling for the heat pump was not a standard size and therefore a new metal box would need to be fabricated to properly fit the new unit. Because Gerardo believes in doing things thoroughly and correctly, he had his crew come back the next day. They spent the time needed to install the heat pump and the outside condenser unit. They also were kind enough to give me a brand new door to the ceiling as the old one was approximately 20 years old with broken clips. While Gerardo was not here the entire time his crew was, he managed to stop by and call to make sure we were very happy and also to see if his crew needed anything. Such a caring person Gerardo is!
