The guy said that the water turn off valves were frozen, after spaying with a nut buster spray I was able to turn them off. I can't believe they don't run across this regularly. So the drain was unclogged but was not recommended to put back together without some up-sells. So I'm fixing it this weekend. Also left a mess in my bathroom.

SG Mechanical is our go to service provider for our AC. Our system is about 16 years old and SG has come out to fix it without pushing for a big ticket install. I contacted Arcadia Air for a quote on a whole new AC unit. Back story: the home we moved until was a rebuild. It had burned down and built from the ground up. When we purchased the home we were made aware if this. We thought we were walking into a brand new home as we were told everything was new. 3 years into our family living in the home our AC suddenly stopped working on one of the hottest days. I called another big named company who came out and replaced a blown fuse for $375. Finally the AC was working again. We dodged a bullet, so we thought. 2 weeks later the AC stops working again, this time the condensor and a few blown wires. Called the same big name company and they did the repair again. Cool, finally got it working. 48hrs later the same dang problem. Called the company back and argued it was the same issue that just fixed. With hesitation they came out and fixed the issue but this tech informed us the unit was 9 YEARS OLD AND REFURBISHED. I couldn't believe it as the house is only 4 years old. Fast foward to last week May 15th. We are in the middle of a bathroom remodel and my husband needed to go into the attic. He quickly yelled for me to show me the AC air handler. I couldn't believe that I saw the pan was missing, the unit was leaking and badly rusted. I submitted a request for quotes and Arcadia Air for back to me in a matter of minutes. They said they could come out as soon as tomorrow (Monday) morning. The tech came out, evaluated my AC unit and gave it to me straight. It was worse than we thought. The air handler was installed wrong, missing catch pans, leaking, wired wrong, mold starting to grow and it was only a matter of time before it would fall through the ceiling. The price for the new unit was very reasonable along with the EXCEPTIONAL warranty on parts, labor etc. than the others. Day of installation, I met the owner Jimmy, the techs showed up on time, hauled away the old unit, didn't make a mess and let me know when they were almost finished. My house is now cooling perfectly. I paid for the AC unit outright but they offer financing options if needed. I highly recommend Arcadia Air. Jimmy and his team went above and beyond for us.

My AC was having issues with turning on so I called Dial One Mears to help diagnose the issue. This is my second time working with them and it could not have been a better experience. Aubrey helped me schedule the soonest possible time for a checkup and the technician Greg promptly resolved my AC problem. Both were very friendly!

Howard Air installed a mini split unit in my home a year ago. We’ve had a few problems with the unit ( one requiring a new heat exchanger that took two weeks to get) and now I have a flashing LED on the indoor unit. When the LED flashes, the unit will not run. I called Howard Air to inform them of the problem. And even though I have a 10 year warranty, they told me I had to pay $98.00 for a diagnostic test. I was surprised by this but I paid it. When the tech arrived he thought there was a transformer issue, but he called someone and they told him to pull the main power breaker, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. The reset seemed to work until the next day when I got home to a warm bedroom and a flashing green LED. That prompted me to call Howard Air again. They were curious and all and I was given a Thursday morning between 7 and 12:00. I also received TWO confirmation emails. I stayed home all morning waiting for someone to arrive, and at 3:00 PM I called and was told the appointment was in the afternoon!!! I then read word for word the email I was sent, and was told there was a mixup. Now I have to wait until Monday. Heck of a way to run a business

I called KJ's Cooling and Heating this morning, they were very friendly when I called AND they had a technician to my home the same day. Brent explained to me what had happened with my a/c unit and was able to fix it the same day. I am finally with A/C again!!! The service was great, the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

Courtesy offered, NOT received. The technician told my husband and myself they would repair our air conditioner as a courtesy prior to the home warranty company authorizing the motor. End of story, bill sent to us, warranty didn’t cover all of the cost, call to office, threatened with collections and hung up on by receptionist. Free advice, wait for the authorization from warranty company before accepting “courtesy “.
