Best Emergency Cleaning in Phoenix AZ

Unprofessional, Inconsiderate & Inept. We had four simple repairs that needed to be completed. By the end, I'd have to show the tech how to fix one, two were misdiagnosed and we aborted before we allowed them to touch the last.

The problems were:

1) We had a toilet that wouldn't flush unless you hold the handle

The tech pulled off the top of the toilet, pushed the handle and it flushed. He then told me it worked fine. I put the top back on the toilet and it wouldn't work again. He said he'd never seen the FluidMaster valve system that was in there and needed to replace it. FluidMaster is one of the top after market valve systems out there and this shocked me. I gently pointed out that the rod connecting the handle was hitting the top of the lid and if he trimmed it off, it'd probably be just fine. He did do this and it did fix the problem, but he didn't fix it that day for some reason.

2) We had a leak in our shower

The tech tore a huge hole in our living room ceiling dry wall to get at the leak. Didn't lay down plastic, didn't warn us, just dumped a ton of dry wall dust on our TV, entertainment system and floors. Then proceeded to scratch the hell out of our floors with his ladder. He then diagnosed it as being the drain and said he'd need to get a special part that'd take a few days. (weird, thought that was pretty standard) Any how, didn't give a specific return date, just said a few days and left. This turned out to be a lie, the real reason he didn't come back will come up later... But long story short, he replaced the drain and it didn't fix the problem. Turns out it was the Mixet valve. We stopped him at this point and had another company do the work instead.

3) We were having trouble getting hot water throughout our house

Guy said we needed a water heater. Thought that was weird because we could get hot water, just not in a reasonable time though the house. Replaced it and low and behold, doesn't fix the issue. At this point, I'm starting to think I should be a plumber for them. I've got 0 experience, but at least I've got good diagnostic skills. Ugh...

4) Finally, we had a toilet that rocked back and forth

Guy pulled up our toilet and broke it somehow. Seriously, how do you even do that??? He said the floor was rotted out below the toilet and that'd need to be fixed first. Warned us not to use it because it was broken now. But, didn't turn off the water to it or leave a note. Just left it. My little sister was over and ended up using it.... Ugh... Anyhow, the tech admitted that the real reason he didn't come back earlier for our drain was that he wanted to wait until the floor was repaired so he could do it all at once. And this was the final straw.

How inconsiderate do you have to be to leave my home in this state? With my living room trashed and my toilet un-usable, but still functional enough that people think it's ok? And to intentionally leave it this way longer just so you don't have to make another trip? INSULTING.

I'll admit, we are renting this home and some of the frustration came from coordinating via the rental company. But, even when I called into APES directly the lady was SUPER RUDE. Until she realized how bad a performance her tech had given. Even then, no apology, just not rude anymore. Also, I owned my house before and I know a lot of excellent trades people that are fast, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. So the bar may have been a little higher than is reasonable for most. Full disclosure, both of these could have colored my experience. But, even so, I think the facts of the situation should dissuade ANY potential client from using them in the future.

Go talk to Sterling Services, JB Water, DH Plumbing or Sepulveda Construction instead. They are all locally owned companies, I personally know each of their owners, they have all done work for me in the past and done so excellently. They will take good care of you. Feel free to tell them I told you that they would. :)

UPDATE: The owner did reach out to us, apologize and insist on sending us a gift card for our troubles.

I have worked with Hays now for 18 months since they were recommended for a new HVAC system. I now use them for so much more, check out ALL their services. Their techs are kind, courteous, knowledgable and prompt. Their office staff is very responsive too!

Joey came by this afternoon to diagnose what was wrong with our air conditioning unit and take care of it for us. He was friendly and professional and explained every step along the way. I really enjoyed my experience with Penguin Air and plan to use them in the future and plan to recommend them to friends and family. Thanks again, Joey!

Robert was on time and conducted himself in a polite and professional manner. He walked me through step by step on what was needed to find and repair a gas leak. He completed each task in a timely manner. I would recommend Quick Fix 24/7 to anyone looking for someone who is honest, reliable, and efficient.

This review is overdue. We've relied on Sav-On Plumbing for repairs and upgrades for a couple of years. Their customer service is always outstanding. They are easy to schedule, show up promptly, and consistently do an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

We were very happy with the very quick response to have our heater fixed. The current model we had was 10 years old and we decided to replace and upgrade. Brandon L and Justin M were extremely professional, efficient and guaranteed we had all questions answered. It’s always a surprise having to spend additional money without notice however we know we made the right choice and with the right company. More like Valley's worst. My home warranty picked this company for my AC not cooling issue last month. 5 weeks, 2 start capacitors, 1 control board, 90° nights of restless sleep. I, my wife and 2 daughters were duped. Conversations with Chase were not optimistic, but felt like he was blaming me for a faulty ac. Are you kidding me. They just put bandaids on. I received authority to change service companies, my AC is working tonight after a new condenser fan motor was installed. It took 1 hour to do the job right. Could've saved weeks of misery. Beware! Don't hire these guys. They will lie to you about amp readings to not have to do their jobs. Pretty obvious what the problem was said our new hvac company.

Replaced 20 year old 5 ton unit. Was worried about potential roof damage and length of installation. They showed up on time, finished in a day and not a mark on the roof! Could not ask for more.

If I could give no stars I would. This company is horrible. Worst Customer Service. I could not believe the response I got or the way I was treated. Absolutely no communication or time frame.
We got a new A/C unit from them in 2011. It has a 10 year warranty on all parts. Yesterday evening the A/C went out, called them at 7 am this morning to have someone come out. It is now 12:30 on and no one has responded, called, or shown up. I just called them back to figure out what's going on, and the guy that answered the phone couldn't answer my question. He said he would send another message to the on call guy, and that I should get a call back in 15 minutes. I explained again as I did in the first call, we have children and animals in the house and we need to know if someone is coming. All he could tell me was to wait 15 minutes and see if the on call guy calls me, if not I could call back or he suggested I could call another company to come out. I told him again that it is under warranty and asked how that would work. He just told me to see what happens in 15 minutes.

A very good HVAC service company, prices are reasonable and technicians show up on time to get the job done.

Fantastic! I have an older home with an older a/c unit. I need a new unit but can't afford it right now. Well, it went out again and I have a family and just can't wait in the heat for a company to come out until usually the next day. It went out when it was about 110 degrees outside. So I looked at some reviews that said these guys came out quickly and I called.

This guy came out in about an hour! I couldn't believe it. They were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my unit is so old that they don't make a fan motor for it any more. And that's what I needed. So they made a new universal one work instead of telling me too bad, you need a new unit. Well, they basically found a way to make it work right, but it had a few issues and they had to come out several more times. THIS WAS NOT THEIR FAULT, they were trying to make it work with the dinosaur I own. I looked at it. Fans just don't fit this way any more. It's a totally different set up. I can't believe he even tried for us.

Every time he came out, he refused to take a payment, even though he deserved it. He even gave me new parts for free to make it work. He just kept saying he wants to keep my business forever. And he will! Any other company would have charged $69 every time they came out. And it would've been justified. This was a rebuild with old junk, not a normal repair. AND each time he came out with in 1-2 hours.

I just couldn't believe it. I haven't seen someone care so much about service and keeping up a good reputation in so long. I wish everyone was like that.

Do not hesitate to call them!

The attic potion of our AC system died last Thursday. When the AZPC technician, Mack, verified this and put in an order for a new Trane, he left a portable AC and installed it in the hottest bedroom, to help us make it through the hot weekend until our new system - both outside and attic units - arrived and could be installed. The four-man team arrived at 6:45 Monday morning and could not have been more professional or worked harder than these men did. They were courteous, positive, and very helpful explaining our new thermostat and how to ease our new AC into running at our preferred level of cooling. They also thoroughly covered up their walkway and work area and then cleaned up the insulation, etc., that had fallen from the attic while they worked. When our packet of information arrived in the mail, we were thrilled to see that we now have a 14-year warranty (mostly transferrable) and a built-in semi-annual service plan. Our AC is running better than it ever has in the three years we have lived here. We are thrilled with our experience with AZ Perfect Comfort and would absolutely recommend them to anyone with AC issues.

I used REEis for the first time thru SRP's pre-summer check. The tech,Antonio did a very through check according to the SRP's program's listed items. I was happy, and use them for my other house's pre-summer check. The technician seemed very knowledgeable. He also told me that REEis does not use high pressure sales tactics, will not tell you to buy or do something that you don't need. I'll use them again, they seem to be very reliable, and have good skill technician.

I moved into this residence 15 months ago. Getting ready for the second summer the a/c unit needed it’s annual maintenance and checkup. I had read about Ace Home Service giving veterans a discount. I set up an appointment. The technician that did the service call was Daniel. He is a professional at his job. He explained everything he was doing and what was wrong with the unit. The unit turned out to be 21 years old and had lots of problems and needed replace. He went over all available units that he could replace it with. Daniel was very honest on all units and did not try to sell us the most expensive one. He has very good customer service. He is a very big asset to your company and you are very lucky to have him as a technician. I do have to make a comment to the people who work in your office.
