I was originally feeling satisfied with the service we received. The work that was done seems as though it was done correctly. HOWEVER. Because the small problem that we thought we had turned into a MUCH bigger issue, we trusted Penguin to continue and fix the larger problem. We are now learning that their prices are MUCH higher than competitors. As in, potentially thousands of dollars less than we have already paid. We could not find a single plumbing company that was even close in their estimate to what we have already paid out of pocket (the most was still 3x less than Penguin). Not to mention our insurance reached out to us specifically to discuss the shockingly high charges for these services and were fearful we had been taken advantage of. Don't trust your technicians when they assure you Insurance will cover a good portion of the bill due to it being classified as Category 3 water. That is what Landon told us when he saw that we were shocked and hesistant at the estimate. We were even told that we had great Insurance so we shouldn't worry at all. That may be true when the plumbing bill is justified, but we may never know that since we chose to go through Penguin. Take a look at their BBB rating and make sure to call around. At no time were we encouraged to take time to think about this large project, instead there was only urgency as they called Copperstate Home Builders to come do mitigation. Nothing like shared profits. Lots of money to be made off those of us who may not know the going rate for plumbing services in the area. Let our mistake help you avoid your own and do a lot of research. We sure wish we had. Especially considering our contract states that Penguin would install both toilets and that The job is complete. We only had one toilet installed before they left and didn't return. Even Gene with Copperstate indicated on Thursday August 25th that Penguin should be out to install the other toilet.Edited to add information on 9/15. Still no contact from Penguin, even though I submitted a Contact Us form. Tomorrow has been a week since I sent it. I'm sure they will say I need to call, but when my trust level is this low I want EVERYTHING in writing. Our job is still not complete and we have not had contact with them since August 25th when we were emailed our contract, which again states The job is complete. Today we find out they charged an additional $3500 without our knowledge or consent, when the agreement was that Landon would come back out on Monday 8/29 to receive the last of the payments. His words exactly were My boss will be cool as long as we get that payment in a couple of days So we indicated Monday 8/29 would be a good day for them to come finish the job and receive payment. We never signed a payment agreement and every other payment we made was in person and signed for. This company is slimy. $10,200 for something that surely should have cost us less than $5,000 for everything. They should be ashamed of themselves. We will be moving forward with our BBB claim, and a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Absolutely shameful business practices.Edit as of 9/19/22Another plumber came today because we are needing to begin our reconstruction. We asked him to take a look at the completed work in our hall bathroom (since Penguin never returned to install our toilet it is still open and able to be seen). Again, we got a punch to the gut when he said, Wow, I'm really sorry. I cannot think of any situation that a flange repair and replacement would cost that much. Good work comes with a price, but the price they charged you is outrageous and completely unbelievable in my 20 years of plumbing. So again, our suspicions of predatory practices and price gouging are confirmed. Still no contact from Penguin. The photo shows our $5,788 flange repair and $1100 worth of tile demo (8 square feet).

After calling many companies to get estimates, I called Hobaica. Melissa provided me with top notch customer service and answered all of my questions. They sent Grayson out that same day to do a diagnostic check of my AC unit. Of the 18 companies I called, Hobaica gave me the best rate. After the part came in, Grayson came back the following week to fix my unit. It was nice to have the same tech for the entire job...Grayson was professional and meticulous about his work and I appreciated the strong communication I had with this company...would 100% recommend Hobaica!

Mike S. came out to see us when our heat went out and he was so helpful! His customer service was really what helped make our decision to choose Goettl. Diagnostic test on split

We're coming up on four years since Alien Air Conditioning installed the new (at the time) heat pump HVAC on our home. It has been one of the smartest upgrades we've made towards our home. The unit they installed still blows cold or heat as needed while using far less electricity to run. The guys from the company walked me through everything they were doing and they genuinely cared about doing business with us. Summer's coming back to Phoenix pretty soon and if you're considering repairing or replacing your current HVAC unit I encourage you to call on Alien Air Conditioning to take care of it.

They guys from Comfort One Air Conditioning came out to tune up our 2 older units. They were on time and very professional.

They discovered one unit was low on coolant and filled it up. The other unit needed a capacitor. They fixed it all and assured me that these 25 year old units would make it through the summer.

Three years ago Sun-Tech replaced two of our aging AC units with brand new ones that are far more efficient. The price was superb and the units have worked perfectly. When the AC for our guest casita (20 years old) started making noises, we didn't hesitate and called Sun-Tech again. They are prompt, do great work and very nice to deal with. We had no issues, even though they were working in a very tight space.

Rubén was helpful and efficient in repairing my AC. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Nate Sowa came over and was informative and efficient with all of his information. We were all in with the installation plan when he informed us of their warranty programs and excellent customer service. Start to finish Nate was professional and personal. He helped us pick the perfect 2 system package for our home. He answered all of our questions and made the process very easy. Parker and Sons was the obvious choice for us due to their exceptional service, professionalism, and price point!

They did a good job, showed up on time and got our AC working quickly. They were professional. Replaced our air handler for our system.

Don't under any circumstances use this company they will lie to you. I decided to give them another chance. Nothing has change. I used them for the yearly check up.The tech tried to scam me. Another company came out and said the tech was wrong. THEY MUST WORK ON COMMISSION. Once I told him that I would call someone else, he gathered up his stuff tried to make small talk and left. Oh yeah they really push there useless maintenance plan which makes NO SENSE. What they charge for the check up is not worth it. The first time they tried to scam me into buying a 12k unit. There are more trustworthy companies than this one.

George, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Mike, his tech, came out to do a maintenance check on our A/C and he also knows his job very well. We are completely satisfied with Air Control and would recommend them highly to everyone.

We were blessed to have Trevor. He was really great with explaining everything with my sometimes hard to deal with engineer husband. He was able to explain all that he did and even give us some advice about replacing a piece on the unit in the attic to flow better. good prices, great service and was genuinely happy to help with all we needed. we will have him again if we ever need updates, checks or service.
