Came to check out an issue, could not fix it and still charged me $325 ?

Everything was fine and the guys always did a nice job and cleaned up as if they had never been there. Recently they have not called me back when I left 2 messages. Which I did not understand. I know they have been busy with repairs from the freeze however no one bothered to tell me that was the reason they would not call me back to discuss two jobs at my house which they already knew needed to be done.

We used Reeves for the first time during the long freeze when our previous plumber wouldn’t even return our call. They repaired several burst pipes and replaced our tankless water heater.I will most definitely continue to use Reeves and have given their name to 2 friends who have used them. Juan was very knowledgeable, helpful, and went out of his way for us.They arrived when they said they would.

Antonio was great. He was seemingly unfazed while I swore at him loudly about how much money Public Service Plumbers wants to charge to repair my water heater, which supposedly is still under warranty. He then apologized for the expense. Antonio, you’re fantastic! Public Service Plumbers, not so much.

Super nice guy. But he charged $300 for a 6 min job. I called in a non-emergency situation. We had a slow draining kitchen sink. I explained that I had a 15’ manual snake which temporarily solved the issue, but it either wasn’t long enough or wasn’t big enough in diameter to completely fix the issue. We scheduled an appointment for the following business day during normal business hours. They said the service call was $75, but that was waived if they did the job. When the plumber arrived he quoted us $330 “because it was a very difficult job with very difficult equipment.” My wife vetoed me because she wanted it fixed now. He used an electric Rigid snake which you can rent at any equipment rental store for $50/day, and it literally took him 6 minutes from the time he opened the extremely accessible clean-out until he had his snake rolled back up and was asking for a check.As I said, super nice guy, but that should have been a $75 job.

Honest people and honest prices!!

Bad people try cheating on job. Just 10 minutes job done 3 days after that clog again call them back they said not warranty on job because I didn’t choose camera run. Very bad customer service lady so rude. Try steal money from other people bad business. Don’t use them

I’ve had a different experience than most with this company...The short version without a lot of details is1. Made a mess of the vapor barrier and ripped one section of the plastic2. Karl quoted $1400 for an eight hour job at most. he said he likes to over estimate just in case but it probably wouldn’t be that much. They worked about five hours and charged me the full $1400...Karl conveniently doesn’t remember saying what he did to me3. I trusted them when they said just aluminum sheeting would be a barrier and totally acceptable for the giant hole they cut behind my dishwasher and sink area...it has resulted in nothing but aluminum sheeting between my pipes and the outside air—also resulting in enormous amounts of outside air coming in.4. Don’t let Jermey and whatever new guy they have work on your stuff5. They seemed to have loosened up all the fittings under the sink when they came out to clean up the mess they made6. I don’t trust the work they did on the drain so additional money will have to be spent on an actual reliable and honest plumber

I called for help a couple of times and Tom Sheffield came out and took care of the problem quick and did a great job. He is such a great and honest person and doesn’t give you the run around. If you want the job done right and you don’t want to be over charged for everything contact Sheffield Plumbing in Oak Cliff, they will definitely get your toilet/pipes or whatever your problem they will fix it and will get it working again.

Have always been very happy with this company until recently. First they came out to look at the hot water bib in my washer and snake a shower. The bib was fine and he spent 15 minutes on the drain. Charged over $200.Paid to have heater checked out. “Everything is fine” A few weeks later heater would not come on. They came out turned it on and it worked. $110. Two days later heater stopped working. Several calls and promises to come out, still nobody has shown up.VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Jordan installed a flow-tech system along with water heater flush. I was considering a salt water softener, but Jordan proposed the flow-tech option based on location and no drainage available. I will follow up with satisfaction of the flow-tech after 90 days of usage.

I called Mr. Rooter @5:30am about all of our toilets backing up. Matthew arrived promptly that morning. He discovered the main line from our house to the city sewer line was blocked. Matthew fed a heavy duty router multiple times down an access pipe outside the front door and pulled out large chunks of tree roots. Once cleared, Matthew fed a camera / sonar device down the pipe to reveal a break 25’ into the front yard @ 3’ underground. He scheduled a crew to dig down to the break point and Matthew repaired the break. We had family & friends visiting on 2 consecutive weekends and, thanks to Mr. Rooter’s timely service no one stayed in a hotel !

I have now had two dealings with this company and I forgot how bad they were. Called them to fix a dishwasher and some leaky pipes. The plumber arrived and said he didnt know anything about the dishwasher, which was the most important thing. I had him fix the leak under the sink which he solved by removing the valve. Now you have to go to the water main if the faucet starts to leak (or gush). Not even sure that's up to code. He fixed the two leaky showers by replacing the gaskets. Charge was almost $400. I think he spent an hour. Then he turned on the water main and before going to work I went back upstairs where the water was gushing full-blast in the shower. Thankfully I checked as the shower curtain was partially open and hot water was already getting on the floor (carpet). Then I remembered they had come out previously and 'fixed' our water heater for $700, when they had quoted $400 - apparently the quote was just for the part. I would have replaced it for that. Stay far away from these guys.

David installed a garbage disposal for me. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. He even showed me a trick to keep my pipes flowing well. I will definitely use them again.

When our WH went kaput, these guys were out in a jiffy. We thought we could repair it, but it was on it's last legs. Same day, they got someone else out to install a new one. I'm just waiting for an hour to pass to take my first warm shower in 2 days. Cold showers really bite! Thanks you guys! Marcos and his nephew were pretty great!

We had extensive testing and repairs on both the supply and drain lines in our home. Everyone, from the office, to owners, to their plumbers and helpers were friendly, efficient and thorough. Their pricing was also reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.
