Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric

Recently had 2 separate water leaks we've had to call Baker Brothers Plumbing. Andrew Drew Floyd was the technician who completed the last job. He is professional and kept me informed as to what he was doing throughout his day. Although there was a minor mistake in cutting the fiber optic line, all worked out well. He contacted Frontier and opened up a ticket for them to replace the line. They also will pay for the repair, which is what is expected. We'll continue to use them for service.

Nice and fast! Samuel Banner was able to get my broken coach light back into working order. Best of all, he was able to come a day early and he completed the entire effort in under 30 minutes. No parts, no new fixture, just a nice fast repair that saved me money. Thanks!

These guys are great.. our AC went out as well as our furnace not working properly..they came out and helped us out and had to replace our whole system..they got the jobs done quick and cleaned up with no hassle.. definitely the expense was not something we anticipated..but I will say they have absolutely lived up to their claims and our energy bills have been cut in half to 60% and the house is comfortable...

I had Plumbing emergency yesterday where my two handle walk-in shower cold water wouldn't stop running.Baker Brother plumber came and estimated $266 for a quick cartridge/stem fix.He started to unscrew the Stem but I could clearly see that he was struggling to use/find the right size socket wrench. He asked me not to watch him do his job as he feels pressured. So, I stepped away and gave him space.After this, I could hear that he started to talk to other professional in native language over phone and seems like seeking guidance from other person on the phone to do the job.He asked me if I have right size wrench, which I do not have. So, he went to nearby plumbing store and got couple of wrenches and after coming back he just cut top of Stem which I think was not at all required. After some time he said that valve/stem is broken and he cannot take out the inside piece.Only option he gave me now is that he has to replace the whole valve assembly by cutting the wall or tiles which would cost around $1400 and I have to separately work with tile or wall fix experts once he finishes there plumbing job.This is so unprofessional from Baker Brothers, where they are sending non-professional plumbers and breaking/cutting parts just to create a bigger project and price gouging out of an easy quick fixes, just because customer has emergency.Now, I have no option but to seek second opinion from other professional plumber who would try to take out this broken part or suggest me better solution. I am also looking to post consumer complaint against Baker Brothers.Update as of 11/08/2022:Baker Brothers sent there experienced plumber next day, he took the part out in 15 mins and fixed everything in a professional way they were suppose to. Very nice to see that they accepted the mistake committed first time.No work guarantee is provided for repairs as they have not charged me for repairs.

Really appreciated the advice and professionalism I had with Baker Brothers. Starting with a text to introduce me to my technician, all the way through the great work (and amazing clean-up too). I was very happy with how Sean took the time to explain everything to me and he gave me options with pros and cons of each so I would feel comfortable with the best option for my repair. I chose the reroute of the water line to fix the leak. It took several hours to fix it but Sean kept me updated throughout the entire process. After he was done, he walked me through everything he had done and why. I felt that Sean truly cared that the repair was done in the most effective and efficient way and that he treated me (and my home) with respect. I am a happy Baker Brothers customer.

I’ve been looking for a reliable plumbing professional/expert for a long time. And I finally found one! After interviewing 3 plumbers on a solution to fix an above slab leak between my dishwasher and outside wall, Cooper with Baker Bros by far won the job! He was professional, intuitive with his assessment, efficient and trustworthy. He even offered me two options on how to go about the fix that helped save me money and an extra headache. I will be calling baker bros and asking for Cooper any time I have a plumbing issue. He’s great!

Cameron was our tech. He is not on your list of technicians, for some reason. This gentleman was excellent. He was knowledgeable, thorough and patient with my millions of questions.We got immediate service from Baker Brothers after our initial call. There was no long waiting.We’ve been home owners for the last 15 years and have had a parade of repair/technicians come by for many issues. Baker Brothers, and Cameron, were one of the best and reasonably priced services that we have hired.I do recommend Baker Brothers.

I used several of their services, this time is water leak under the foundation concrete slab. They found the leak but suggested to the new water line to prevent future problem. Javier worked very hard to solve the problem around the existing plumbing structure. They cleaned up the areas very well after finished and that is great. Javier is outstanding.

Very happy with our service from Baker Bros. We had our water heater replaced. The quote process over the phone was easy and honest. The phone reps were incredibly nice. The technicians showed up on time and communicated well before they arrived. The install was done quickly and efficiently. They even went the extra mile to help me with our new oven and answer several questions I had about other plumbing-related items. I will not hesitate to use Baker Bros again!

Left my info online Sunday on the website and got a same day call back. Needed 2 outdoor plugs fixed and a quote to get my outdoor lighting working again. David Stengel showed up at 8:30 am . He was very professional and knew his stuff. He explained everything well and presented me with a few estimates/options. I agreed to the work and he went and got parts immediately. Worked hard the rest of the day and now I have great modern front lighting on the house and plugs are replaced and working. And the one in the garage causing the issue on the outdoor plugs. Price was not bad - actually less than I imagined. I am very happy with with the service. Fast, fair and David is a true pro that is great to work with.

Baker Brothers was so responsive and had someone come to replace my water heater the very next day. They were very responsive, super organized and customer service oriented. The person they sent, Marco Robles was amazing. He has been in the trade for over 11 years. He was very professional, patient with my questions; direct yet friendly, and trustworthy. He came in - diagnosed the problem, looked at alternatives to replacing the unit, explained what he was doing along the way. He was super efficient and fast in the install and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend the Baker Brothers Team - they get things done..and great service!

Woke up to a flooded garage due to a water heater breakdown. Called at 6am to get on the schedule and by 12:30pm we had a new water heater installed and the old one hauled away. I got a quote over the phone and that was exactly what I paid.I’ve never had a bad experience with Baker Brothers.

Overall experience was good. Marcus did a good job. His upfront estimate was misleading, told me how difficult job was and could go up if he finds something else. I understand all of that but when it was not that difficult and only took an hour he should have adjusted the estimate. He said he could not but I could call in. I worked with his manager Joe and resolved the issue. He reduced the rate. Still a bit high for the work performed but it was reasonable. I appreciate Joe taking the time to listen. I would use again but they really need to be more flexible when quoting. It would go a long way if the tech would reduce the rate without me having to ask.

Mr. Stuart Rasshan was vey professional, punctual and got to work as soon as he got there. We are happy with his work. This company is too pricy though, $403 to replace small copper pipe & faucet outside. That’s with a military discount.

Chris was Extremely Professional, knowledgeable, and informative and patient with me with questions throughout his service call, which I truly appreciated. He did a great job with the repair we needed in a timely manner, which he informed me with from the on-site, once he inspected the job to be performed. Excellent service!!! The ladies on the initial phone call were very helpful and explained the process of getting services arranged. Hot water heater was installed within 3.5 hours! Dalton and his assistant were very friendly and professional. They made sure we knew what was going on and were not pushy in any way. So impressed with Baker Brothers that we signed up for their Family Plan.

So impressed with Baker Brothers from start to finish! The team was communicative about scheduling and August got to my house right when they said he would. He was experienced and professional - he explained everything that needed to be done, showed me pictures and videos of the problems, and gave me all pricing information upfront. He gave me suggestions and quotes for preventative maintenance options, but wasn’t pushing anything. Aside from the work he did, he was so kind to me and to my (BIG) dogs, even when they were very much in his personal space! He also remembered their names - may seem silly but attention to those details made me much more comfortable with everything he said needed to be done.Grateful that they were able to fix everything quickly, and will definitely be using them for any issues that come up.

Baker Bros. sent Luis & Martin to our home to bring our 25+ year old electrical system up to code. Both men were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They worked on our system, installing a new breaker panel, all day in the cold winter weather with never a complaint out of either of them. When finished, they reviewed and explained everything they did and cleaned up.I would definitely recommend both Luis & Martin for any electrical job you need done.

Baker Brothers, and specifically their technician Marcus, did a great job with our water heater repair. This was an expensive project that I didn't have much experience with and the Baker Brothers team did a great job talking through options and making recommendations based on the size of our home, placement of the water heaters and products available. Once we made a decision, the installation was professional, clean and efficient - they coordinated an outside contractor to do some venting/roof work and everything was seamless. After I've explained the condenser not turning during hot, peak summer for a hour or so during the evening, in 5 min, he was showing me the side of the AC fan unit outside which was completely clogged with dirt/dust and told me that the unit would shut down from overheating at the hottest time of the day because of that. He was honest, quick, and professional and knew his stuff and quickly pointed out what needed to be done. Great person too. I'm very impressed by their overall service and staff and particularly this individual who pointed out a simple solution to me. Greatly appreciate it.

We have used them for hot water tank after hours temp repair prior to total replacement (next day). We have also used them for HVAC repair (because of course on a hot day the AC won't work). There has been 3 different interactions with different techs each time. ALL WERE FABULOUS! Polite, professional, personable and very thorough. Each tech made sure we were 100% satisfied and informed. We signed up for their family plan as well (STRONGLY recommend). Bakers Brothers came through for us not only late night after hours but also moments notice business hours. Great business!!! Robert did a fantastic job. Stressful having a slab leak but Robert knew what to do and took great pains to minimize wall penetrations and I especially appreciate his efforts to make openings in cabinets and not in conspicuous areas. Nick Alvarado did an excellent job installing our whole house water filter by SpringWell. He was professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do and was able to get it done no problem. Baker Brothers also charged us almost half the cost compared to other plumbers for the same job. I would highly recommend.

Colin and his helper James were on time and ready to work to detect a slab leak into my garage. I elected to also have the water heater changed. Both men were professional, friendly and worked quickly to resolve the issue. I was confident that they would be able to diagnose and repair the issue without any trouble. I would definitely use them again and because of this I'm planning to have my HVAC changed by Baker in the spring.

I called Baker on Tuesday afternoon about a leak at my place of business. I was asked if I needed someone out that night or in the morning. I chose the morning. Baker sent Anthony and his partner on Wednesday morning. They were very punctual and extremely professional.They listened attentively as I explained the issue we were having then got straight to work on identifying what could be done and how. I was asked for my approval on several things and given a clear explanation on why they thought each task/item was necessary to fix my issue.They took as long as needed to fix my issue without rushing through, as my issue was a bit complex. It was taken care of, and the final price was definitely a good value for the work performed. I would recommend this company for any business that needs plumbing work done, especially if it needs done quickly and professionally.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Baker Brothers for the replacement of our upstairs toilet. The original installation didn't quite go as planned as the original toilet was much shorter than the current heights; however, Baker Brothers immediately remedied the issue perfectly. I love how much they stand by their work. We've used them for all our recent major repairs/installations (2 full HVAC installations) and couldn't be more pleased be the quality of their work. We highly recommend them!

My husband and I just bought a new house and within one day of having the keys, we realized our air ducts looked extremely dirty and the air conditioning was noticeably colder in some rooms than others. So, I googled air duct cleaning companies and Baker Brothers had the best reviews so I decided to give them a call. Unfortunately for us, when they got here they said our ducts were too far gone and deteriorated so we needed to a complete air duct replacement. You can imagine our spirits, thinking we just needed a duct cleaning and it turns out we need a whole replacement, yikes! But Carlos Pasallo and his partner made everything as smooth as possible and instantly made me feel better just by their calming and caring demeanor. He walked us through the whole process and costs, never once being pushy or trying to upsell us. He was so patient and kind and reassured us that he will do whatever he can to ensure we will have clean air to breathe without us going bankrupt in the process. They were able to start the work IMMEDIATELY the next day which was shocking! The communication during the whole process was the best I’ve ever experienced from a company. He was in constant contact with me and they even finished the job ahead of schedule. I cannot recommend Carlos and Baker Brothers enough. Owning a home and running into emergencies like this is very overwhelming and stressful, but Carlos made the experience as enjoyable as it could be. I highly suggest you request Carlos if you can, he will get the job done fast AND right.

Quick (but thorough) and easy fix for our toilet! A spot opened up a day earlier than our scheduled appointment and we had our issue resolved faster than we had planned. Oscar was very professional and polite. Will definitely use this company for any issues in the future!

Would not recommend Baker Brothers. Called and scheduled an appt. Re-confirmed the day before. Took off 4 hrs of work to ensure someone was home. Baker Brothers cancelled at the very end of the day saying they would need to re-schedule in a week. Don't waste your time (how much is it worth). The Baker Brothers technician, Matt Becker, actually came by to do a warranty inspection on the water heater installed by BB. He also offered to check out the bathroom fixtures for free. While doing so he identified plumbing issue with one of our toilets, gave us a reasonable quote. He was able to perform the repair on the spot. Bottom line, we are very happy with the outcome of his work and would highly recommend him!

Great service but boy the price, they charged me 678.00 to fix a short length of PVC coming off the water main. He had no digging to do since the city already dug up where the main had a small pin hole leak in the line coming right off the meter. And he wasn't even on site 2 hours. Like I said great service, but just be prepared to get reamed!! This job should've only been for 2 hours, they must charge 340.00 / hour once you do the math.

Very impressed with Baker Bros. sales and service. Initially had Gary come out for a quote on a new HVAC system, liked the options offered, applied for financing and *Pow* ! Julio and William installed a new 17 seer one phase Lennox system in the same day !

Where to begin? I smelled something, I called. The rest is a sample of excellent attention and customer service, all the while making sure that quality work was being done. My initial call was taken by a courteous lady who tried to make an appointment asap. Sean Ladd appeared promptly as promised. He and his apprentice were professional, respectful, spoke knowledgeably. They were caring about covering their shoes, protecting my floors with rugs, and were nice to my dogs. My dogs liked them (which says a ton!). They took lots of pictures and explained all the issues. When I gave the approval for work, they started right then. No coming back or rescheduling. I’m not an expert, but the resulting work looks fantastic! Everything was buttoned up and looked better than I expected. I cannot say enough about my experience, but would highly recommend them. I believe this could have been a completely different experience with another company. In retrospect, I could not have made a better choice.

Joe Vickers was absolutely wonderful! He did top quality work and was super friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a fair and very concise estimate. He was prompt and on time. Joe really put forth every effort to help us out on this commercial project. We don’t generally get contractors of this quality on our commercial work and I am so glad that we chose Baker Brothers.

James was incredible. My wife went into labor with our first child on the day that the repair was supposed to be done, so I couldn’t be home for it. James did the repair with my dad at the house, and he bought us a gift for our baby girl. It was one of the kindest things I have ever seen. When everything was finished, James called just to congratulate us and wish us the best. We weren’t customers to him, we were people, and that really meant the world to us

Jimmy is a polite, professional electrician. He was so kind to my legally blind elderly father, by answering his questions, moving his truck out of the garage, and explaining payment options.He responded quickly to our call, as a cold front was coming in, and my dad needed his heat to be returned on, after a repair of an outdated and dangerous breaker box.I was working, and Jimmy kept me posted through texts and phone calls throughout the process.Because of Jimmy's professionalism, I would recommend using Baker Brothers services.His work ethic should make his company proud!Thank you Jimmy for your help and kindness.

Michael arrived as scheduled and thoroughly completed the inspection of my hot water heater. He was professional and explained the diagnosis, gave me options and discussed them in clear understandable language.I use Baker Brothers for everything and have always had excellent service!

We had an emergency need for a plumber on a weekend. We called in the morning and the lady who answered was very helpful and understanding of the urgency. She worked with the dispatcher to see if someone was available and in the area. We expected we may have to wait most of the day to get someone.But soon after we talked she called to tell us someone would be over in 30-40 minutes.But less than twenty minutes later the plumbers were there and assessed the problem and repaired it for us. They were knowledgeable and friendly and the quality of their work was very good. We were happy to get such good service especially on the weekend.Our only reason for giving four stars instead of five is that we thought the price was quite high for what was a fairly simple repair.

Baker Brothers came out to replace my entire HVAC system. They were very professional and did an extremely good and thorough job, ensure I knew the process throughout it all. Even with changing brands and size units they went out of their way to ensure it was a perfect custom install. When they were done they again went out of their way to clean up everything, including dust, in every room. I would highly recommend them and use their services again.

Trent was very professional, showed up on time, and fixed our electrical issues within a couple days. So thankful he was able to come & get everything resolved so quickly. Very happy with Trent & his company! Will definitely be using them in the future.

Ali was very thorough. He inspected all my plumbing and checked my house drainage. My hot water heater drain valve is clogged. He suggested replacing it with a larger valve opening to make tank flushing on an older tank possible and easier. Job is booked and quoted. Baker Brothers in my opinion is great value for the money. They will always get my business.

Cody Wheeler was our technician and he was AMAZING! He had a great attitude when answering all of our questions. He was also helpful, informative, knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the entire repair process. When he delved further into the job, he found out that it was going to take more man power, so he made a call and Jairus Smith showed up. They worked great together and treated the job as if it was being done at their home. They made us comfortable by showing us why the plumbing problem occurred and how to prevent future problems. The end result was great! Well done you two! I am a repeat customer and will be scheduling another plumbing appointment very soon, so be ready guys! ??

Serviceman Cooper was amazing. Professional, helpful, knowledgeable, informative and friendly. He was polite, went straight to work and resolved my issue quickly. I NEVER give 5 stars for anything (no one is perfect) but he deserves them some gets all 5.

Very well done, professional and at a good cost. They came in and quickly removed/installed a new hot water heater and at the same price that I was given over the phone, unlike some others that I called!Highly recommend their service and will be using them again for any future plumbing issues.

I called Baker Brothers to help repair a leaky urinal in my building. Adam came out right away. He had everything needed to do the job. He was fast , friendly and most of all, did an excellent job on the repair. Adam was conscious of our budget and really helped us keep well within it. He even asked if there was anything else we wanted him to take a look at while he was there. I was really impressed with the speedy response and the professional quality work that was done.

John and partner called to confirm arrival time. He showed up, did routine diagnostics all the while being very professional and courteous. He discussed his findings and left us with a couple of helpful energy saving tips. I highly recommend John and his partner for any home systems work.

EV Charger is installed on my garage door by Howard and his associate. They were very professional and knowledgable what they are installing, how they are installing. I like the way that they first asked my opinion about what I want to see and then they provide professional opinion with options. They did great job.

There's a reason why Baker Brothers is rated at 4.9. We used their services to do work at my uncle's house in Dallas. (I live in Florida). For starters, their customer service agent couldn't be nicer, or more helpful. They installed new bathroom fixtures and dealt with a kitchen gas problem. These folks are timely and professional. And best of all, their pricing is fair. Best value in town. Highly recommend.

Wolfgang did a fantastic job of giving me three estimates on installing a new electrical panel. He walked me through the merits of each choice so that I was educated on what was possible and necessary.. He is very knowledgeable and personable and I highly recommend him and this company (also used in the past).

I needed a drain cleaning/inspection which was accomplished. Unfortunately, my house is 50 years old and the line needs to be replaced (definitely expected but was hoping not yet). James showed me the damage and explained the location, etc.He also quickly scheduled to come and give an estimate for repairs. Mention of the drain cleaning coupon from the website did save me $55 I think.

I’ve used BB for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs and do not regret it one bit. They’re always honest about what does or does not need to be done. Adam was very professional and nice. He even bolted and tightened my toilet seat without extra cost.

Drew and his apprentice were prompt to complete the service. He walked me through everything and gave me different price quotes for the job. He was friendly and professional. Noticed the heat wasn’t working this morning after last nights severe weather- heat pump wasn’t coming on. Called and a tech (Oscar) was there in maybe an hour? Faster than I expected. Asked me good questions and listen to the scenario/details I provided.He had the system diagnosed, repaired, and was on his way very quickly.Very nice tech, very thorough in his descriptions of the problem and other potential issues. As much as I don’t like to have AC system repairs, I do look forward to using BB and Oscar for the upcoming scheduled maintenance.

They did an excellent job replacing my sink stoppers today. Looks like a million bucks now. They did not use cheap materials. They use the best and went out of their way to make sure it was perfect. I highly recommend using Baker Brothers.

No one wants to have a/c troubles on the weekend, but Baker Brothers took my call and scheduled Robert the same day. Robert was professional and courteous. When I needed something different than the planned fix, he was able to find a temporary solution while addressing my specific needs and requests.UPDATE 5/17/23- Cooper and Wyatt did a great job replacing a toilet. Cooper gave options and both were super friendly a professional. As always, the work was well done.

Garrett was beyond amazing. Came in and immediately took in everything and exhausted every resource he could to assess our issues with our cast iron pipes. He broke down all of my options and was very in depth with what we could do so that this problem doesn’t happen again. 10/10????John Happney and Alex came out and did such an excellent job on the repairs! So friendly and comforting. I wouldn’t expect any different and if an issue like this ever came up again I’d gladly request the two to be the ones to come back.

I called several plumbing locations and Baker was the only one that did the job right and was upfront about the cost. Roto told me I was going to have to redo my entire plumbing outside and quoted me an astronomical price. Jake from Baker did a diagnostic and found 2 soft clogs and now I'm good again. I wish I had called Baker first and wouldn't have to deal with days of frustration. Definitely will be recommending Baker Brothers to anyone I know and meet in the future.

I received quick and efficient service from Baker Brothers after my kitchen sink needed repair. My technician, Alexis, did a great job explaining my options for service and returned the next day to complete the job. Replacing a few defective breakers. Did a great job. We will probably need Bakers Brothers again. Our house was a new build 4 years ago and new builds are required to install “energy efficient” breakers that only actually end up lasting a couple years. We had to replace 3 of those with ones that work, which was pretty spendy, and we have many more of those supposedly energy efficient breakers. The old breakers sure are proving to be super energy efficient, not.

Had a clogged kitchen drain. Plumber was very knowledgeable and worked for 2 hours. Unfortunately, it was not cleared. However it looks to be an issue with the original plumbing installation. He provided a suggestion to fix the issue. I appreciate everything he did. He was very professional and dedicated to his work.

I called and asked what the price would be before hand and the lady told me they would quote the job on site that she didn’t have pricing. (That’s dumb) I had 4 bidet’s put on and was charged $320 per hour ??. She could have easily told me the hourly charge. (So you’re welcome in advance. That’s the information scheduling won’t give you) They start charging the second their truck parks in front of your home. He actively worked for 1hr and I was charged 1hr 30mins worth of work. Thankfully I used a TV coupon which to $55 off but still. That’s insane. Storm was amazing, extremely professional and did a great job. The pricing isn’t his fault, I think you guys more than overcharge.

My experience with Cody and Dalton was excellent. They were both knowledgeable, personable, and professional. They clearly knew what was wrong with our water heater and explained why it malfunctioned. They gave me all the options and weren’t at all pushy, which was fantastic.

Our Water heater broke and leaked. We had American home shield warranty and called them. They assigned J&K plumber and we had horrible experience. No resolution and no hot water for 5 days.We called Baker Brothers and they were so helpful and responsive. We had a plumber come on the same day and explained the issue and they gave several options for replacing the water heater. They explained all my questions and helped with the financing option.We also had a water leak and another plumber from Bakers brother came and looked into it. They found the issue and asked me verify few things and did not try to get money by doing unnecessary things. It was fixed along with the Tankless Water heater install.Good communication, great customer service experience!

When my water heater blew out I called Baker Bros. They had a two man team out to my 2nd floor condo in only 2 hours. There was lots of furniture to move and the guys did all the heavy lifting since I had just got out of the hospital with a very bad back. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one in just about an hour and a half. Very nice men; pleasant personalities. And very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a mess. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

I thought I needed a electrician but end up needing someone for AC&Heating. Andrew was very knowledgeable was on board to call in for tech. First time using Bakers Brothers I will use them again along with refer them to others. All of a sudden there was water everywhere in the bathroom going into the hall. I called Baker Brothers and they were able to get their technician, Eric, out in just a few hours. We had a leak in bathroom plumbing in the slab. Our home warranty cashed us out rather than fixing the issue. We called Baker Brothers late in the afternoon and they had technicians out the very next day. They located the leak and rerouted it through the attic rather than busting out the concrete. I have never used Baker Brothers until today and I could not be more glad to have had them take care of some minor jobs I have been putting off. I had him switch out a ceiling fan, two light fixtures and replace one light switch. Victor was professional, thorough, thoughtful, and considerate from start to end. I really appreciated that he wore shoe covers, vacuumed the areas he was working in and took away the old fixtures. It was hard to tell he was even here except for the improvements made today. Called to have a technician to come out to see why everything was backing up in our tub. ERIC VILLEGAS came out on time, very professional, attentive listener and knowledgeable. He explained what he was do, explained the cost of the cleaning / removal of the blockage. It took him no time to record and clear the blockage. Then recommended a long term solution with a quote. Will definitely use BB again and recommend to friends, family and neighbors.

We had a pre winter check on our central heat by Charles today. I really like that we received a text with his picture on it that he was on the way and knowing who to expect. Baker Brothers was able to send a plumber (Carson DeLange) the same day that i called them. Carson was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, he was very efficient and completed all the repairs in a timely manner. He was able to answer all my questions and provided me with some recommendations on additional repairs that will make my home run more efficiently. If you have gas leaks that need repairs, definitely recommend this company.

Ali was AMAZING. We were experiencing sewage smells from the master bathroom. Called Baker Bros and Ali single-handedly performed smoke tests in every bathroom, reset/resealed the toilets, and installed a clean-out in the backyard. Turns out our house didn’t have a water shut-off valve so he installed that, too. Extremely professional, kind, and informative. He worked all day Monday and Tuesday and even performed clean up work Wednesday. Whoever monitors these reviews at Baker Bros needs to pass this along so Ali can get the bonus/raise he deserves.

Clay was incredible! He came out to install a dedicated outlet for our fridges in our garage and then popped up another electrical need in our brand new home. He was on it immediately! Will definitely recommend Baker Brothers to anyone who need ac/heat install done! Cameron came out gave me all my options and was super informative and personable! I came to a decision and replaced my heat pump/compressor unit outside and my airhandler/furnace inside. I will say they are not the cheapest but they do very good work! They were able to come next day but I had them come out the following day. Juan came out with his teammate and worked hard all day, got it all setup and running. They were very detail oriented and clean! I have had alot of dealings with other company's since my system was a 15y/o goodman (not the best system). And these guys did a great job through and through. Very nice people and know what they are doing! Whenever I need services done again will definitely be calling them back, thank you guys again!

My heater went out last night. I called Baker Brothers this morning, they came out by 1:00pm. Found a loose ground wire had flipped off a circuit breaker. He also found a loose ground wire was the reason. Fixed it in 20 minutes, only cost $39. Awesome company! Definitely recommend!

When our WH went kaput, these guys were out in a jiffy. We thought we could repair it, but it was on it's last legs. Same day, they got someone else out to install a new one. Josh was great. We had a full blown core meltdown situation at the house with all showers, tubs and toilets clogged. We needed a Saturday appointment, which many companies don’t offer. They got us in for service the very next day! Josh was on time, professional, and completely fixed our situation within an hour. Our garbage disposal wasn't working and I knew after tinkering with it we were at the point of needing a plumber. I was able to quickly reach someone to schedule someone to come out and when my email address was listed incorrectly someone called me back within minutes to correct it. The company texted me with a picture of the plumber so we would know exactly was coming to our door and then he called to let us know his ETA. Once he arrived he gave us a quote after looking at the situation and it was a very reasonable price. He took care of us in 30 mins and was very professional and friendly in his demeanor.All in all the best experience I've had with a plumbing company and a plumber. Thank you to our technician Eric Bishop for leaving us with such a positive experience, especially because I accidentally caused the garage disposal to break in the the first place.

First time home-owner here. I am SO GLAD I called Baker Brothers. Sean and Michael were so kind, knowledgable, thorough, honest and so hard-working. I had a massive slab leak in my bedroom sending water pooling into my carpet. I get so overwhelmed trying to google plumbers and get people in my house for multiple estimates, etc., especially for something urgent and destructive like this. My hair stylist actually recommended Baker Brothers because they were currently working on a massive leak in her house too. When Sean and Michael came out, they were so kind and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They found the leak right away and explained my options to me and the costs right then and there. I’m a woman in my 20s, so I’ve had many experiences of repair service people talking down to me, glossing over things because they think I won’t understand, or talking just to my husband while I stand there, but this was absolutely not the case with Sean. He explained things thoroughly and respectfully to me and answered all my many questions. We elected to do a re-route and they fixed it so quickly and cleanly! Amazingly, Sean and Michael caught a 2nd slab leak, so I had them come back the next day, and even though it proved to be a much trickier fix, they worked incredibly hard and got it done within the day. They also added a water shut-off valve compartment into one of our walls, so that we could access it from the inside, since our outside one was totally inaccessible. They were so kind and respectful of our anxious dog - major points there! They worked hard to keep our floors clean and even vacuumed after they were done. I’ve also got to say that their prices absolutely could not be beat, and I definitely checked other plumbers in the area. We’re now signed up for the family membership plan and will ONLY be calling these guys from now on. I am 1000% happy and grateful for Sean and Michael!

I have a family plan with Baker Brothers and today I had the pleasure of Zach working on my Tran system. He was amazing and was able to get it back up and running. He extremely polite and professional. Even though it took him 2 1/2 hours to reset the program and go through all of the many error codes on our Tran thermostat he never gave up! We just had Baker Bros do a whole house, waterline reroute, from slab to attic. Bobby was our initial contact and was very thorough and explained the process well. Cary was our lead onsite and was joined by Bobby and 2 other workmen. It was a big, complicated project (6 days), but the crew did a great job and were super professional. The price was very reasonable considering the size of the project. I think Baker Bros has a new, repeat customer.

My call was answered promptly, and, within 2 hours they had a team at my door to install a new water heater. Sean had great information and facts about the gas line. He was honest and didn't try to sell me something that didn't need to get fixed(My knowledge on the gas line is limited). This left a great impression!!Luckily he asked whether there were any other questions or issues. Baker brothers will be returning for a different issue.

We called for defective water heater but Cody didn’t find a problem with the water heater. He scheduled a service call to replace the cartridge in the tub faucet tomorrow.**update**Their second service man came today and he disagreed with the first guy. He recommended we get a replacement of the water tank. ( The water tank replacement plumber is on his way.)In the meantime, we asked Kevin to change the spout in the tub because water splashes everywhere when you pull the lever to use the shower. He replaced it with one that matches our other accessories and it works.Devin came yesterday and changed the water heater under warranty. Not his fault, but I was not told that they didn’t have the same brand as my old tank, Rheem. Was disappointed to say the least. Devin and an apprentice did a great job of switching out the tank.

One of the copper supply lines from the top of the hot water heater had corroded and needed replacing. Marcos Robles did an excellent job of explaining to me the typical reason why the corrosion had happened and how to protect it in the future. He replaced the line with a flex line and added a shut-off valve. This job was completed in less than 30 minutes and we are very satisfied and appreciate his professionalism and expertise.

I had an outdoor faucet that was leaking severely. It turned out to be a bigger job than replacing the washer. The entire faucet ended up needing to be replaced. Despite heavy storms and sleet this morning, James showed up on time and got me squared away relatively quick.He was courteous, knowledgeable, transparent and professional. I would trust Baker Brothers with any future plumbing repairs I may require.

2nd time I've used Baker Brothers, first was AC replacement and I must say magnificent work. Today's hot water heater was just as good. I'll continue to call them. I won't speak to value as I did not shop around. I wanted these guys to do my work.

I recently bought a new house and was not getting any hot water. I initially called another company who spent 5+ hours at my house troubleshooting the water heater and at the end said I needed a new water heater. However, the water heater is from 2017 so I did not think it required a replacement. I wasn't satisfied with their recommendation. A family friend recommended Baker Brothers and I am glad I called them. Their first plumber who came to inspect the water heater was able to immediately flag a possible water leak. We scheduled another appointment for the next day with another plumber who had special water leak detection equipment and they were able to confirm and locate the water leak. I was given a few different options for the repair and had the job done yesterday. I finally have hot water! I also signed up for their family plan because they offer good discounts and complimentary inspections on a yearly basis. I will need additional repairs done to get hot water to the free standing tub which I plan to do at a later time but I will certainly use Baker Brothers when I decide to move forward on that. He did not follow what the company agreed with me. He name ( Gabby)The company told me it would send someone in to check my home's power inside and out for $39.99. But when he came, he offered me $362 to check inside and out and I didn't agree. so he gave me $100 off and I just paid $262.He said I had to sign the paper and pay $262 before he could check the power inside and out. It's funny when the company says I only need to pay $39.99 to test everything. And now he's making me pay $262 just to check everything. Yes and he checked within 10 minutes and said the power supply was no problem. The problem is that my A/C machine is broken. Which about A/C he can't fix. And he took $262 and left my house.

My experience with David Stengel specifically was the best experience I have ever had with an electrician. He installed a 240v outlet for our EV in no time. Dan was very good. He was professional as well as efficient. He diagnosed the issue and made the neccessary repairs in a timely manner. We appreciated him taking care of the problem so quickly.

I had my vents cleaned and devices to improve my system. A UV light was installed along with some sort of oxygen device (not sure what it is called). The combination of the two devices will reduce the amount of allergens in the air and will help reduce the amount of dust in the house. The technician, who was absolutely the best, told me that I would not need a separate air purifier as the AC will do that now.

Wolfgang was professional, courteous, and proficient. They installed a car charger for me and our install was more difficult than most. He explained why, showed me comparisons on cost of a typical installation, and gave me time to ponder whether or not to proceed without pressure. Once I made the decision to do it he got me on the schedule ASAP and everything went great with the install. I highly recommend them for your Hot water heater. We had them install new ones about 2 years ago. After Atmos came out to replace our gas meeter, one of our heaters stop working. Baker Brothers came out the same day to fix it under the warranty. I am very impressed. I do not have much faith in warranties. Normally my issues never are covered under the warranty. So, I owe them a big thank you for getting us back up and running.

24hrs prior to going to Home Depot and picking out a water heater with the same specs and dimensions. Home depot offered to have it installed the next day. I was quoted a price I was happy with and felt comfortable with the whole experience. The next day at work I get call from my wife saying the Home Depot plumber looked at the existing water heater in the attic and said it would never fit and we would need to source an older 2015 model or go tankless, then they quickly left. I immediately called Baker Brothers after hearing this and had a new water heater installed in less then 5 hours. Julio and Steven arrived and installed exactly the same size and specification water heater I picked out at Home Depot. They were very professional and did quality work, installing additional parts to fit our home's needs at no extra cost. I paid a little more than the box store but a night a day different experience was received. Another lesson learned for myself that you get what you pay for sometimes and Baker Brothers will get it done right.

I had a list of plumbing to-do's that had accumulated after a remodel. 30 minutes after I called them, my house was swarming with various teams from Baker Brothers, all highly knowledgeable and easy to get along with. I had recently installed a plumbing system not typical in residential applications to strengthen the house during Dallas winters with the instability of Oncor and they were unfazed in making the proposed modifications and taking care of the needed maintenance items. Had a hot water issue over Easter weekend with barely tepid warm water coming through the faucets and shower. Bobby Townsend from Baker Brothers came out and instead of jumping right to you need a new hot water heater he used good old fashioned diagnostic thinking and the process of elimination and determined that in fact the electrical outlet in the closet where my hot water heater is was not working and a small part needed to be replaced in addition to solving the outlet issue. Hands down the most honest company I have spoken with so far. You never need these companies until you are in a pinch and something has broken. Financially you are never prepared for these types of things and this company has renewed my belief that there are still good people out there that can help.

Called for an issue yesterday and they were here today to work the problem. Nickolas was the technician and was very professional, diagnosed the problem and will call back when the parts come in. I have a two zone system and he was able to get the AC and heat to work throughout the house with one zone. I recommend this company to anyone that needs any type of home repair. They answer the phone and call when they say they will.To follow up, they had to order a part, it was installed and everything is back to normal. They are an honest company that does not try to gouge you. They will be my go-to company for all my home needs.

These employees work off commission, so if you want an honest worker to give you an honest diagnosis I would avoid baker brothers at all cost. I was quoted almost $900 to replace the CPU inside my furnace that is the communication devices between my thermostat and my AC unit. I was told it’s no longer functional because when I recently had electrical work done it fried the CPU and it needs to be fully replaced. BUT was also told by replacing this equipment it may not fix this issue. So I could potentially be out $900 and still no AC.The best part of my story is when I got an ACTUAL professional to give me a second opinion and he fixed the it all in under 15min.His diagnosis: when I recently had electrical work done on my home, when power was turned back on the AC unit got power before the thermostat could reboot so they were no longer communicating. The ACTUAL professional went to my breaker box, turned off both A/C power and the closet where my furnace and thermostat get power from. He then restored power to the closet, waited for the thermostat to full reboot and then restored power to the AC unit and, viola, it worked!I was warned about baker brothers, but was desperate as temperatures were reaching mid 80’s, but I think god I stuck out a warm weekend and got someone who actually knew what they were doing!Wish I could get my $39 I was robbed back, but hopefully this review will prevent others from funding this pyramid scheme.

Professionalism and Integrity. Made an appointment with Baker Bros to replace a leaky water heater and they examined it and said I only needed a new drain valve. They could have easily just replaced the unit at six times more than it cost me to repair it.

Saul was amazing!!! We struggled with low water pressure in our home for months. We hired different plumbers and even changed our water heater, nothing was working until came Saul with the diagnosis of Justin the night before. Difficult Job - Repair sewer line damaged by roots. This was a 7 to10-foot dig, in a very difficult position, due to location of gas, electric and fiber optic lines. They had to hand dig this hole. They managed it found the issue removing roots and replacing the broken section. They tested the line filled the hole and cleaned the area. The removed all leftover debris from the work site. This was a great team, and we appreciate their efforts to make this as seamless as possible.

We have been smelling natural gas in our building for the last year. Finally called ATMOS gas they found we had a leak and shut our gas off. Called Dallas Plumbing down the street and they could not come out until 2 weeks later. SO I called Baker Brothers and they came out the next day. The service tech was very professional and caring. Also was very enthusiastic, and ready to get to work. Dont see that very often these days for someone gung ho and ready to get working. Highly recommend Baker Brothers Plumbing. Last night, I had taken the styrofoam cover off my side water faucet at the front of my house. Attached my hose and did my first watering on my new flowers.This morning I went outside and the spicket was dripping radically. I tried to tighten the handle but it only spun around.I turned off the water to my home and called Bakers for a plumber.They were there in only a few hours and fixed the problem.It was rather expensive but he was thorough and careful. After I paid him, he went outside to check everything before he left.I was impressed. The valves on the water distribution board in my house that directs both hot and cold water to the different areas in the house, all froze. Baker Brothers replaced all 11 valves in one 3-hour service trip at a fair price. The technicians were competent and efficient and got the job done in a reasonable time.

One of our water heaters had an internal leak, so we had both of them replaced. Marco arrived first thing in the morning and within 2hrs had both tanks installed. I bought the family plan to have my HVAC checked and maintenance. I did not have any issues with my AC or heating, both were working ! They found a couple of items that needed attention. One I have an older system, and they wanted me to get a new system! When he left it did not work at all!so I called them back out! Next guy was like the first in trying to get me to purchase a new unit right then! I am getting another company to check my system.Yes they are Professional, polite, but now I have no heat and no air! I Will not use again!

This time the call was a leaky kitchen faucet and, I inquired about having systems maintenance eval, thinking about the age of home systems. Atticus, a very well informed, respectful young man conducted a careful inspection of water heater circulation pump, which I thought had gone bad due to surges after storm-related electrical outages. In the end, I learned so much, including the location of the water shut off valve to the house. I was wondering where the heck that was! We bought a house that had two old R22 air conditioners, one of them was leaking refrigerant and the other wasn't cooling the house efficiently. We decided to replace both units. I called several firms and received their proposals, one of them being Baker Brothers. The reason we ended up choosing Baker Brothers was because of their customer service. Their prices were lower too, but overall the way we were treated and then the professionalism of their work really stood out.We ended up purchasing their Platinum package: Two new 18+ seer air conditioners and two new furnaces. We also had all the duct work cleaned and scrubbed. We just got through with the hot Dallas weather and can now say that the two new air conditioners worked marvelously over the summer. They are two-stage, which means when that second stage kicks in it cools down rapidly in the house. Just wonderful - and efficient too.The girls at the office were always nice and the technicians were kind and courteous. Really good experience from beginning to end, and definitely recommend. I had a leak outside a few weeks ago, since it’s a brand new build I attempted to contact the landscaper (to no avail). So I contacted a handyman, he came out I thought the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, we had incredible referrals to Baker Brother's, but after waiting all day for them to show (working from home) and moving our day around because they would squeeze us in.... I actually had to call them at 3:30PM, and was appalled to be told they cancelled our appointment because they couldn't reach us. But neither my husband or I had any missing messages or missed calls. Upfront and honest communication like, we're actually booked today, we can come tomorrow would be a better solution than blatant dishonesty. I'm hoping that they work to fix this communication error in the future because clearly their actual work seems to be satisfactory per word of mouth referral.

Still waiting on a call back. They replaced our A/C unit last year. It’s been fine, but in a routine inspection a tiny coolant leak was found. Rick told me they’d have to order a part and I’d be notified when they did so they could come replace. I haven’t heard back yet, that was two weeks ago.

I had a great experience with Baker Brothers coming out and addressing many minor issues we’ve been having. They were helpful, professional and got the job done quickly.

Called and made an appointment for them to come out to replace some gas lanterns. I explained they were very heavy and need 2 people and mortar anchors. When they showed up he said he had never done this and then wanted to just use screws and not anchors. I explained they weigh150 pounds at least and had to have anchors. Then they quoted me $2500 and I had to go get the supplies. I explained I would pay the $2500 but not if I had to run all over town to buy supplies, they said sorry that quote is just for us to take down and put up lights. Bad business, lazy and unqualified!

I highly recommend Trapper Horting Bakers Brothers master plumberWe had an unusual problem with a broken shower/ tub faucet since it was of an unknown manufacturer and needed a metric socket wrench to access. He actually created a tool to remove it and sent photos to a plumbing supply store to get the correct replacement part. He drove there to get the part and returned to complete the job. I’ll be using him for any future plumbing work

Want to recommend Baker Brothers Plumbing and Heat & Air...called them last night...to come this morning with a new 50 gal gas hot water heater...came this morning at 8:30 and the tech said he could fix it and did...I was ready to purchase a new replacement hot water heater, and hadn't even considered getting it fixed, and hadn't mentioned that...he offered...solved the problem...if/when it dies we'll call them again...wow, just wow...

I called with an outside leak and Tyler was at my house in less than an hour. He diagnosed the issue and arranged to return the next day. He showed up on time and completed the work in the time he specified.I like that I received a text with a picture and a little bit about the person coming to my house and that I could see his progress to my on his journey to my residence.All-in-all very happy.

Daniel was very informative and took his time to explain about the process . He has a great rapport with people and I enjoyed my customer service .

We had contact work on our kitchen and they completely messed up the drains under our kitchen sink. Tyler from Baker Brothers came out and completely replaced all of the drainage pipes under our sink and replaced an old cutoff valve. Prior to the work or drain pipes kept coming loose and leaked everywhere. Now everything is tight and is draining properly. They was professional and very helpful with observations and recommendations. We are very happy with the work performed.

One of the difficult things about being a new homeowner is finding your go-to person for your home repairs, most of which you have no clue about. As new home owners, my son, daughter-in-law, and I were perplexed when water started leaking out of our front water bed, but knew enough to turn off the water and look for a plumber. We got lucky when we contacted Baker Brothers and they sent out Sean Ladd, who quickly figured out what was wrong and did a great job repairing the water pipes in our front yard. I was on their monthly billing program and they would come out twice a year to do an inspection. I learned that there “inspection” was just a way to meet their sales targets. They were always trying to up sell with instilling fear. They are con artists. Would never recommend them to anyone.

I suspect their work is perfectly fine. But when I called on a Saturday for someone to look at our water heater I was told there was a $200 surcharge for a Sunday visit, and the next regular opening was Wednesday.I realise that weekends are difficult for everyone, Sundays in particular, but I called three other services, and none charged more than their standard diagnostic fee for a Sunday visit.

They were supposed to look and fix my well system when tech got here he did fix it and I was told to call out a well service person. And since he came out at almost 10 am I wasn't able to get another company out that day causing me to loose a day at work. So he even still charged me for coming out and doing nothing plus costing me to miss a day of work that total cost was around 200. Dollars and im very unhappy with your company and will not recommend you to anyone else ??

We had Baker Brothers come out on January 7th to get an estimate. Garrett was great explaining our options. So after talking to hubby we called back and had them come and replace the whole main water line. Michael Walker came out and did the repair on the 14th. They showed up on time and got right to work. The process took a couple of days and they cleaned up perfectly after it was all done. What impressed me was that Garrett showed up to help after he another job he had that day. So impressed by this company's customer service! It definitely goes above and beyond! After all the work was done I also received a Thank you card from Brandi in the office which was a sweet gesture as well. I would really recommended these guys. They do a fantastic job!

Trevon and Tracy werw knowledgeable, friendly, professional and on time. Trevon troubleshot my Havc problem and suggested the fix. He scheduled Tracy who is an electrician to change the circuit braker. Now the system is running again.

Tech Josh explained in detail best options. Gave me 2 options with cost before starting. After completing work he went over all the details, warranty, how to operate everything, and ask if there was anything else in house plumbing wise I may need assistance with which made me think of something that was not the reason i called for. Best plumber I've ever had. Completed additional work while here.

We had to have our 25 year old Air Conditioner replaced due to the R22 that isn’t made anymore. Considering they had to replace both the inside & outside I thought it would be an all day event.Air Conditioners are much more expensive today than they were 25 years ago but we now have an energy efficient AC which will help with Texas heat.

First time using baker brothers and would recommend them due to their professionalism, clearly state the work, options and pricing up front, moved quickly through multiple tasks and cleaned up afterwards.

Power to my business was cut off in the recent storms. I called it in around midnight, had a technician on-site by 9:30 AM. He had the rewiring work done by 3PM, and the city inspector arrived at 4:30PM. It took a while for Oncor to reconnect us after that, but Baker Brothers had the technician available to attend the reconnection by Oncor without any issue. I have nothing but good things to say about the service and quality of work. Thank you.

The technician’s quote was about $7,300 higher than any of their competitors. Had some PVC that needed to be replaced on the air handler in the garage, he said he wouldn’t touch it, but would touch the “bad” coil and “bad” system. Two technicians from a competitor came in next day and fixed the PVC in about an hour and stated coils and system were all squared away with no need to replace.

Our technician, Sam Banner, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in meeting our requests to install new ceiling mounting boxes, run new electrical, install new hanging light fixtures and control switches. We adapted the project as we discovered what looked the best in the various rooms. Not only was Sam ready and willing to adapt to new requests but he had all the necessary parts in his truck to get the job done immediately! It was a fantastic service which is greatly appreciated.

A horrible noise was coming from our outside unit this afternoon. I called at approximately 4:30 and a technician was dispatched and here a few hours later. Technician was prompt and polite.

Had an older toilet removed by Baker Bros and had purchased a toilet I wanted installed. The installation was delayed as the new toilet had not yet arrived...so they agreed to install it a few days later. Then they wanted to charge me over $400 to do the install as it was now a separate install. Talked to the manager and he agreed finally to do so. Now 5 months later the toilet started leaking water around the base...They said too bad...we didn't install a toilet for you...when I pressed...they then said the installation, because I didn't buy the toilet from them...had no warrantee .and it would cost me to have a technician to come out to fix the poor installation. So read the fine print and if you want them to warrantee their work...pay the higher price for the toilet from them...Sorry service...sorry install and way over charged for a simple task. It's sad when you have to fight to get what should be good service.I did make the call again and the same day, a technician, John Hollis arrived and redid the installation under warranty. He did an excellent job, was more than courteous and wore a mask and booties while doing the work. Left it spotless and in good order. That said...I have to give Baker Brothers Plumbing the highest marks now for living up to their warranty and getting it done correctly...no more leaks or smell... I will use them again in the future and will recommend them to anyone. Thank You.

Filled out a form online to for an estimate on a water heater replacement. Shortly after I received a call from Baker Bros. confirming the information I submitted and got a quote over the phone for the total amount. I agreed and asked to set up an appointment as soon as we could. To my surprise they were able to come out the same day, within a couple of hours. The technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, professional and quick. They were able to complete the installation and removal of the old unit in less than two hours. I had received several other quotes and Baker Bros was not the cheapest but certainly were not the most expensive, however with the warranty and the service they provided they were the best value for the money. Will definitely call them again next time I need plumbing service.

UPDATE - i personally unscrewed the traps and found all toothbrush covers and replaced traps with no leaks. Took me 15 minutes (vs. the 2 hours i was quoted). I also found a replacement drain cover ($22 on Amazon). Solved my own problem. I would have been happy to pay Baker Brothers if they were just genuine and honest. $800+ quote for 2 hours of work to clear two drains is INSANE. Like i said, take your business elsewhere.Original review:I had a technician named James come out today with Baker Brothers and had him look at our master bathroom double sink vanity. We had to remove our pop up covers and need them replaced but unfortunately until we found a replacement we accidentally dropped 3 plastic toothbrush covers down the drain. I was looking to have plumber remove traps grab them and reattach and if possible provide us with new pop up covers (which the dispatch said they could definitely do). James came out and shared that plumbing was done incorrectly and that we should have the whole thing gutted and redone. Well we've lived here 3+ years and prior owners never had any issues, were good, we just need the plastic covers removed and new covers. Well James spent an extra 30 minutes sitting down writing up crazy quotes for stuff I continually told him we weren't interested in. He wanted to charge us a minimum of $800 to remove traps, snake the drains, and reattach. I said well if we remove traps and find three plastic covers, there is no need to snake the drain and James replied by saying No, I do the job the right way, I'm not a handyman. So when does fixing the problem I am looking to fix turn into a job that you want to do that adds no value to me as a customer. I understand there is no warranty on customer owned parts, and that it may leak, I'm not asking you to snake the pipes or install new pipes...! James had some serious attitude and even after repeatedly telling him we are not going to repipe or do any extra work he sat in our bathroom writing up pointless quotes for $2,400+ because he said he had to give us those quotes.I text the same photo attached to this review to my uncle in CT who is a licensed plumber and he advised it should take 30 minutes to remove the two traps and put them back on. Why is James quoting me 2 hours and $800 minimum. This guy was extremely unprofessional and unethical and I do not plan on giving any business to Baker Brothers down the road.

We called Baker Brothers to remove our old cast iron sinks and replace them with Stainless Steel. Baker Brothers was very professional and prompt. They send text messages when they are coming, and reminders the day before. GREAT communication. Storm was our plumber and he explained everything before he did it, was very professional, and went above and beyond. He made sure to get us back on the schedule immediately when we needed him to come back. The second day he was here, I had to work and my son was here. Storm called me every step of the way to make sure I was ok with each decision. I would recommend them to anyone. Pricing is a bit higher than expected, but I guess that saying is true, you get what you pay for. Five star service!

Baker brothers is great. I have used them multiple times over the years and they have always been great to work with. I really wish they were affiliated with my warranty company. I have used them for all non-warranty covered items. They notify you when the technician is on his way, they provide a picture and bio data of the technician prior to their dispatch which is awesome. All tech have been great to work with but Ali was amazing. He took pictures before and during (for anything he found) provided clear instructions to the tenant for things to be mindful of and was a pleasure to work with.

The Baker Brothers team was fantastic!! The whole process was very smooth and everyone at Baker Brothers was so nice and professional. I really liked that not only did they let me know when a technician was on their way, but they also sent me the name and a picture of the technician who would be coming out. I was referred to Baker Brothers from the remediation company that was cleaning after the failure of my Hot Water Heater. They came the next day, replaced the water heater. In making the appointment and going over the information with the service desk, I was given a quote and approved the work. They were on time the next AM quickly replaced the water heater, politely answered my questions and the work was thorough. I will definitely use them again if I need to in the future and recommend them fully.

I'm not one to hire work done but I could not be more pleased with Jarius and Chris and their professionalism and honesty. I thought I had a leak in the crawls space in the 60 yr old cast iron drain line. They were honest and deduced the water was ground water coming in from outside. I was prepared to have to replace a section of the cast iron system. I had them scope the sewer lines and they were very kind in showing me the video footage and educating me.

I was able to track Robert online. My first impression was the quick and constant communication. When he pulled up I noticed how nice and clean the truck was. Met Robert at the door. After 15 minutes of talking I scheduled them to come back on Tuesday. With the heavy rain they could not look for the water leak. There was no charge since no work was done. I feel very comfortable hiring them. I will do another review after they come out and do the repair

I recently bought a house and am slowly making repairs. I called to have my unit serviced because I like it rather cold in my house. The tech said it's nice and cold in here when he first arrived. I said that it does work fine it just runs all of the time. He looked around and said that I might have a leak but he didn't have the part I needed. He also said that he wasn't going to charge me for serving the heating unit even though it's all one unit wouldn't it be one price? I paid the $59 and by that evening my A/C didn't work. I called and they said they would send someone the next day. So there is my first hot night.A different tech comes the next day and that part if it's replaced they have to see if they can find it and it might not last long because my system in old I might have to replace the whole thing. They can come cack on Monday to install the new unit. Of course I spend the next two nights without A/C. Granted I know I am partially to blame for not calling some other company for confirmation but it was a weekend and a holiday weekend at that. I chose a unit with a lifetime warranty so it was just under $18,000. They come to install it on that Monday. I guess I expect quite a bit for that amount of money. They are big gaps in the ceiling and the insulation is starting to drop a little at a time. They moved the insulation that I just had installed in the ceiling and wrapped the existing duct work. The service people that came were friendly but I do feel that they took advantage of my situation. In the end I have a new system that works well and I know I might be made to regret writing this because they are supposed to be servicing the system every six months.

Replaced my entire HVAC system. Thank you for the quick, friendly and professional help! Pedro was very helpful upon initial call and inspecting the problem when my HVAC system stopped working including arranging for a crane to assist lifting new and old unit to and from roof of condo. I discovered I had a leak in the water line to the house but couldn’t find or hear any evidence of a leak other than the water meter slowly spinning. Called Baker Bros and they had a tech at the house in a couple of hours. I explained to the tech, Robert Conley, the problem and he went to work. He soon had the leak isolated to the main line between the meter and the house shutoff valve. I was given a quote to replace the line. They had the job completed in 2 days. He kept me informed and I am very pleased with the work. I highly recommend Baker Bros.

Our bathtub faucet has been leaking for quite some time - Javier was able to come in and fix it quickly and competently, leaving it looking brand new. We had an exposed pipe that needed insulation (which froze during last cold front) under and behind the tub, which meant removal and putting back the tub was extremely expensive. After review they decided we could place an access panel through the wall and repair easily with the cost being substantially low. I am impressed that they looked at the need from different angles to accomplish and keep the cost down.

Very professional, courteous and wore protective shoe covers when entering home.The only issue that needs revamping is to include a yes or no confirmation option when company sends out an apptmt reminder via text a day before service appt, instead of sending another reminder the day of the apptmt that needs to be confirmed before tech is dispatched otherwise w/o a response within 5-10 mins to the add’tl text msg the day of the apptmt, the company thus cancel the set apptmt. Why?Sometimes people may be charging up their phone or inadvertently have their ringer turned off, or may be at work and unable to respond with the very short time frame. Doesn’t the company think that most customers have enough sense to call, if some unexpected situation arises that apptmt cannot be kept.This is very irritating when you expect a service call yet the tech doesn’t show up bc company is unable to contact the customer the day of the appointment and then cancels the service call.

We had a hot water pipe burst under our foundation so we asked Baker Brothers to come out to provide an estimate for the various repair options. After reviewing them all - and considering the history of slab leaks we’ve had in our home - we decided to re-pipe the entire house to avoid future leaks. The team from Baker Brothers presented a repair plan to complete the job in 4 days while minimizing the time we would be without water. As an added benefit, because of the way they redesigned the plumbing in our home, we now have almost instant hot water to just about every section of the home (it used to take about 90 seconds to reach our master bath). I needed to replace my water heater. Although it was a painful decision due to cost, I knew it was the right choice. The Baker Bros. technician was very professional & knowledgeable. He explained everything and worked very efficiently. I would certainly call then again.

Sean saw the problem right away and repaired the leak in the yard. He worked patiently with us after the repair while all the mud rinsed through the lines inside the house.

Was told when scheduling the appt. there was a $39 diagnosis fee. After the appointment I noticed I was charged two diagnostic fees so I called to inquire why. I was transferred to a manager who explained I was charged a $39 diagnostic fee per unit. I informed him I was told $39 when making the appt. not per unit. Plus the tech did no repairs he simply found a power switch that had been bumped off. He replied $39 barely covers the gas plus you wouldn't have called us if you knew how to fix it so are you okay with that fee? I said sure but I won't be using their services in the future.

Singh was delightful. He completed the job in an efficient manner and provided written and photographic documentation of concerns.

I had an HVAC tech come to my house this week to troubleshoot my Nest thermostat. It was repeatedly resetting and going into a delay and the second floor could not cool. The technician told me I would need 6lbs of Freon ($714) and it would be a patch job because it would continue to leak. He also recommended a longer term solution, replace the whole system for around $13,000.I decided to call a friend of the family that works on AC. It was a long drive but he figured it out. 2lbs Freon and a broken part that needed to be replaced. He charged me a couple hundred bucks. It’s works fine now. No thanks to Baker Brother’s. I cannot speak on their actual repairs, only their horrible troubleshooting skills.

Ricordo and his assistant removed and installed a new toilet seat. (As I had not purchased a replacement, they drove to nearest appliance center and picked one up for me.) He was very professional, courteous, and kept me in the loop.

This will be the last time I will try to use Baker Brothers. My 3 year old Lennox unit was leaking refrigerant and freezing up. I called on Saturday to fix, Baker was able to service on Tuesday. The service tech did his best to diagnose. The diagnoses was fairly simple, unit and parts were under warranty. Tech told me the cost of the part was $9000.00 and the cost of a recharge was $680.00. When I let him know that the entire system including renting the crane to put it on the roof was $5800, I think shocked him. I recommend getting a 2nd or even 3rd quote to perform ANY work. Also the updated part that’s still under warranty is $500.

I was to extend gas supply to the kitchen for a new cooktop but changed my mind for l would prefer an electric cooktop. Consequently, an electric rewiring for upgrade to 40 amps needed, I have opted for Baker Brothers to do this.

Mr G, our Baker Brothers technician did a fantastic job in replacing a set of faucets in our master bath, as well as replacing a set of aged cut off valves under the two sinks. We've alway been impressed with Baker Brothers, and will continue to use them in the future.

Oscar with Baker Brothers Plumbing did a great job with our AC system. We'd requested a tune-up and he found some issues during the process that we were able to get resolved. We hadn't had maintenance performed in years so it was inevitable but he made a point to give us some different options depending on how long we were planning to stay in the home. The repair was quick and he made sure to explain everything clearly, in addition to confirming I had no questions before he left. I was also provided my filter size and a recommendation of how often to change it.

They do good work but I have a couple of complaints. I bought the membership which was supposed to save money. It didn't. I've paid it out and had to wind up calling another company twice because I couldn't get anyone on the phone. You need to book your REGULAR services at least 3 months in advance. That works for some but when I need a plumber, I need one NOW.

Joe was very courteous and knowledgeable. He exactly what the issue was, explained all of my options, and provided estimates for each. The repairs were quick and successful. This was a great introduction to the Baker Brothers company.

Their plumber, Josh Cohn, went above and beyond to assist in repairing my gas line so that I could get green tagged by the city inspector for Atmos to turn the gas back on before winter. I went to two previous plumbers (different company) who I did not feel were honest, and over quoted me on the job. Those plumbers told me plumbers don't go under houses to find leaks anymore. Then quoted me double what Bakers Brothers quoted.Bakers Brothers plumber Josh, went under the house to find the gas line leaks. Andrew (Bryant) went above and beyond on the annual HVAC service. He was very thorough in his report and even took the time to show me things to look for moving forward to help our home run better. With the service, they use a water hose to clean the unit and after he was done he stored it much neater than we had it before. Doesn't seem like much but just an example of how he did all of the little things right.

Baker installed a new HVAC System (furnace, AC, new ductwork, new vents, smart thermostat, insulation etc). They also installed another complete system for us on another project in 2018. Their prices are competitive, their estimators are thorough, and their installation techs are smart, hard working, and friendly. They left the house spotless afterwards, walked us through the system technology to make sure we understood, answered all our questions completely, and thanked us for our business!

Oscar arrived on time (11/23/22) with the replacement fan motor. He replaced the failed fan motor and ran system diagnostics with no noted problems or failures. As usual Oscar was profession and thorough and cleaned up before he left. He gets my recommendation.Oscar Wion (11/18/22) was professional, thorough, and reactive. He identified the problem with our system - failed fan motor that exhausted combustion gases through a vent in the roof. He sent us description information on our system, video of failed fan, video of unrelated water leak from the dehumidifier. He identified the part number of the failed fan motor and its availability, temporarily disabled the dehumidifier and water leak. He explained the failure situation in detail and pointed out that our system is twenty years old and that caution should be considered in making expensive repairs. After we requested the fan motor replacement on 11/20/22, he expediuosly scheduled the repair.11/19/22 Chris Short was professional, very knowledgeable, and good at explaining the proposed new AC System. We were initially interested in his offer but when we received the purchase/installation contract most of the needed installation modification costs to our house were TBD. This was unacceptable to us so we decided to repair our old AC unit in lieu of replacing it.

I used Baker Brothers for their electrical services. I had an electrical outlet that needed to be replaced and another plug moved up behind a television. Chad did a great job on both. Bakers Brothers is awesome! Incredibly fast response, and Nick couldn’t have been more perfect! He did a fantastic job explaining why the toilet was malfunctioning, the options available for the repair, and the cost of the repair. He finished the job quickly, left the area clean, and was pleasant and professional to talk with. The whole experience was top notch!

Our technician found the problem in our sewer line, showed us the camera view, and explained the problem in detail. The repair estimate is fair and finance options made it affordable.

My house could not pass a plumbing leak test. Most other plumbing companies could not schedule me right away. Bakers was able to accommodate, evaluate and give a plan for repairs. Everything went according to plan. I won't hesitate to use Baker Brothers again if needed.

Made an appointment at the beginning of the week to have a plumber come out to look at a leak in our house on Friday. Wasted a whole day to get a phone call saying they don't have a technician that can come out and needed ato reschedule. Worst company ever. Don't make an appointment with these people. Better off calling someone else.

With a sudden gas leak on a Friday afternoon, Baker Brothers came out immediately. They actually got here before the gas company! They worked with Atmos and got the leaked fixed in less than an hour. Now I can enjoy my weekend here at home with my family instead of spending it at a hotel. Thank you Baker Brothers!

Jeremy and his helper (forgot his name) came out and asset and pointed me in the right direction. True honesty. That is very ware. I will differently use you guys in the future. You should be lucky to have these two guys on your team.

I honestly believe this is price gouging of senior citizens. Baker brothers replaced a flange on a my parents toilet to keep it from shifting. The fee was almost $800. Ridiculous. The parts may have cost $50 at most. You don’t charge by the hour so you can charge a fortune for the parts and install. Flat rate. A joke An hour in labor. They said it was 2 1/2. Not accurate. Is this how you justify your enormous rates. Most doctors and lawyers don’t get this much money an hour. Buyer beware. Get a few quotes before you reach out to Baker’s Brothers. Will never use you again and will tell everyone who wants to listen the same.

I had a wonderful customer service experience from Shawn and his co-worker. They both were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how my a/c unit worked. Both of these gentlemen were very kind, I appreciate that.

Ricky was a professional young man. Very polite, energetic and very knowledgeable.I had Baker Brother's coming out to do a heating system check and cleaning. Also, the iComfort S-30 control unit was giving intermittent screens and system changes.Ricky was able to diagnose the problem, he corrected the setting, and after three days, it all works.If you don't know about the Baker Brother's monthly membership service plan, you should. Great offer, even better price, and you truly get a lot of bang for the buck. The membership discounts are nice, but the biggest attention getter for me is the immediacy of their scheduling members. The tech was friendly and quick and the work only took about 15 minutes. What my wife was charged though was over $600 for the replacement of the flapper in two toilets. An unbelievable high charge for a simple, 15 minute job.

We had some tree roots that caused a leak in our backyard water lines connecting the house to the city water in the alley. Matt from Baker Brothers professionally assessed the situation, contracted with an excavation/dig team, and repaired the leak all within a day's work. They had us up and running much faster than I honestly had anticipated. Matt was extremely experienced, knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive, and Baker Brothers did a great job letting me know of the expected arrival times and if there were to be any delays (which there weren't). Their estimates were also clear and fair. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my plumbing needs.

Chuck checked our tankless water heaters insulation before the expected drop in temperature this week. He walked me through what can be done incase of an emergency like Feb. 2021! He also gave recommendations to have a generator installed that we’re following up with tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

After explaining my problem to Baker Brother's technician Bailey, he explained what he would do and he gave me a price. I was quite pleased and relieved that my clogged sinks were taken care of and no worries of the A/C condenser clogging causing them to backup and damaging the home while no ones home. I would gladly recommend their services to family and friends.

Josh did a good job explaining everything. He gave me the price for fixing bathtub drain which was clogged with hair.He fixed the problem and I'm satisfied.

DO NOT GET ON THEIR FAMILY PLAN, it is a complete scam. It is completely hit or miss with this company. A lot depends on who you get on the phone. Some of the people that handle calls are extremely rude and unhelpful.. particularly Veronica. I have used them for tens of thousands of dollars worth of work and still get treated like an inconvenience when I call.

We called needing someone to replace our water heater gas valve and had someone to our place within the hour. Cody was extremely professional, explained the price up front, and was in and out in less than an hour. For something as urgent as hot water, we are very appreciative. Thanks Cody!

Installation of a propane powered emergency generator.Although there were numerous issues with the original generator, Sam stuck with it and made sure that I as the customer got what we paid for and that everything worked properly.Additionally, we spend hours in freezing weather replacing the original generator with a new one and never complained.
