Best Emergency Furnace Repair in Colorado Springs CO

I am very upset with this company it’s unbelievable. I had to call them a few months back for an emergency no heat. The furnace died in the middle of the night and it was a Saturday morning when my house was 62 degrees and dropping fast. I called and they said they would be here by 11 am. At 1130 or so I called looking for them, their response, “the tech has already come and fixed it.” Yea... no he didn’t. Apparently he saw another company’s truck in front of my house and assumed I called someone else and just marked it as done and left! So they dispatched him to come back and he called me and said he needed to eat his lunch and would be here in half hour to 45 minutes. When he showed up he looked at the furnace and said I had a broken piece, no biggie, but he would have to charge me extra to open the part shop to get the piece. Let me break it down simple... if he had shown up on time it wouldn’t have been a timing problem. Next, he and the company bluntly lied to my face because the part shop didn’t close til 4 or 5, this I know. So they said, “no worries we will waive the extra charge” and sent the tech to get the part. He came back an hour later and fixed it. Fast forward two months, AC had a hiccup and when another tech from another company looked at the system he was very confused. He said, “who did this to the furnace? It’s really not right.” Apparently the part Affordable charged me over a hundred dollars for wasn’t even the right part! He never went and got it! He just added a universal part and rigged some wires together and called it a day. I now have to get someone else to fix the problem because it will not last through the next winter. I will never call this company again. Lazy, dishonest, and slow service are just a few examples of the problems I wish to avoid in the future.

It’s hard to find a company that has quality service & great prices but that’s exactly what we got with Smith Plumbing, Heating & Cooling! After a frustrating few months of dealing with the “other guys” poor service and or high priced quotes. My wife seen one of the big pink Smith trucks and noted it was a woman owned company so she called. We are sure glad we did! One of their technicians came to our home, not some pushy salesman, reviewed everything with us and we were shocked that they were half the price of the other companies lowest quote. The other guys priced at $13,000 and Smith’s with the same exact equipment (I checked) at $6,497 and we got a free whole house duct cleaning and sanitizing included. We also decided to upgrade our old 40 gallon water heater to a tankless Navien on-demand water heater on special for only $2,900. Their prices were so good we were concerned that maybe the quality of work would be lacking but again we were pleasantly surprised as their installers and technicians were courteous, polite and did a super job! We highly recommend Smith’s to anyone wanting great service at a great price!

Matthew Bullock is one of the most professional guys I have ever had the privilege of dealing with. His attention to detail as well as his positive professionalism was amazing. He made me and my wife very comfortable as well as kept giving us updates along the way of the repair. He got the job done in a timely manner and triple checked his work. Another update: Leaving all my reviews to show the trail, but eventually they did fix my water heater. The guy they sent was very kind and pleasant. I am grateful that it was fixed even though I had a migraine in the process. I would still call them again as the on-call guy did fix it and was a nice person.

I had my water heater fixed 8/30/21, and it already stopped working. Trying to call them about this is impossible. They do not answer the phone if they know someone with a problem needs them. They also sent me a bill that should have gone to my landlord when he disputed their charges to his credit card, and they included his credit card information. Seriously, they gave me access to my landlords credit card. They did not even look at the name on the credit card that had reversed the charges. Now I have to have them back for repair work, and I am very nervous about having them in my apartment again. The last guy was very rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing him instead of paying him to do a job. So unprofessional!!!

First of all, great first impression from the very pleasant and helpful girl I talked with. Great experience from estimate to installation of our Bosh central air conditioning. Wouldn't know that this 30 year old house never had air conditioning. Jesse, the estimator, explained everything and answered all my questions. Did a very thorough inspection of house and ensured we had an adequate furnace and electric panel. He showed me the options for what we needed (5-ton unit). He ensured right away that the unit we wanted was in town. He also was able to provide the estimate right away.
The installers were right on time and Mike and Brian did an exemplary job. They went above and beyond in their attention to detail, professionalism and explaining what they were doing. Kudos you guys!
Another cool thing they do is send you a text when the estimator/installers are on their way with a pic and short bio. AND this company offers a 2-year buy back, no strings attached. I think that shows great confidence in their employees and products. So glad we chose this company.

Juan Martinez was awesome! Had a washing machine drain that was completely clogged and thought I was gonna need to spend much more than I did. He was friendly, on time-actually a bit early- and got the problem fixed in rapid time! Explained things in an easy to understand way and answered all my questions. He answered so many of my questions and helped me feel valued and comfortable. Jeremy and Kevin did an amazing job installing my furnace and A/C. They both communicated very well, were timely, and had great attention to detail. They took time to explain everything they were doing and gave me a better understanding of how to best utilize my new equipment. They treated my home with respect and were so easy to work with.
