We hired Allright Plumbing and Heating to install a new hot water heater. The quote came in at over $4000 and included electrical work that needed to be done. With the house being over 100 years old, we understood there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done to make sure the new system was up to current code. The technicians were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The install went well - they were flexible in working with us as this is our vacation home, and I had to get my mom to stay at the house while the work was being done since we were not in town.

While I'd like to give more stars for the service and the technicians, I have a problem with the company trying to nickle and dime us. The first issue arose when the work didn't pass inspection by the city. They had to come out to fix several items and told me they wouldn't charge a service call but I'd have to pay a fee for the materials. Ok, just wanted the work done and approved, so didn't make a fuss.

A couple of weeks later, I received an additional invoice for electrical work. I believe this second invoice was in the ballpark of $250. I called and spoke with the owner and told him that all charges for electrical that I approved of were included on the original invoice and already paid for. He said that the new invoice was the amount that the electrician billed to him and that he'd just eat that cost.

A couple more weeks go by and we have renters checking into the house. They report a really loud alarm coming from the basement, and it turns out that the hot water heater was leaking (we had a sensor put in for this very reason). Allright Plumbing came out (it was a Friday evening) and said we needed an expansion tank to go with the new hot water heater. We were taken aback by this new expense of close to $400 after paying for a new system to be installed at over $4000. We ended up having the technician make an adjustment to stop the leaking while we researched the expansion tank. An invoice comes in for another $200+ since it was an emergency visit.

A couple more weeks pass and another guest reports a loud alarm again from the basement. Allright Plumbing comes out again and insists that we need an expansion tank. The technician explains to us that this is pretty common in these older homes and that they make customers sign a paper when they decline tanks because they know this leaking will occur without a tank. Another $375 for a service call and expansion tank later.....

The issue we have is that we were never told we needed an expansion tank. We never signed a waiver declining the tank in the original bid and scope of work. They should have simply included the expansion tank in the original work and charged however much it would have cost, minus the two service calls. This is an oversight on their part. Is this common practice with Allright to make more money by charging for service calls when they know that leaking would occur without an expansion tank? Buyer beware.

This company was paid previously by the owner of my current condo to fix my furnace we called them previous to purchasing my home and they said everything checked out and the furnace was brand new. Moving in and the heat barely works two months down the road and it doesn’t work at all. I called this morning and instead of trying to talk to me about it they said well let’s get a technician out... I’m not paying for someone to come that hasn’t even fixed it right to begin with. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Allright Plumbing & Heating came to my rescue late one afternoon when I had a gas leak in a rental home I own. We had been smelling an intermittent and slight gas odor for several months and could not find the source of the leak myself. The smell was near a gas stove and we assumed (wrongly) that the gas odor was just the stove. Eventually we figured the leak had to be somewhere else, and Allright Plumbing & Heating was referred to me. Their plumber arrived exactly on time and quickly pinpointed the source of the leak. It was small but still a bad situation. Even though it was getting late, he said we needed to get this repaired due to the serious nature of the problem. A new section of gas line was installed, bypassing the leak (which was in a pipe going through an outside wall underground) and the leak was fixed! Haven't had any problems since!

I really appreciated Allright's promptness, professionalism and urgency to get the problem fixed. And, their pricing was great too!

With all the second-rate plumbers in town, why take a chance - just call Allright Plumbing & Heating and I know you'll be very happy with them!

I just want to say that we use Allright for ALL of our HVAC and plumbing needs. WE are a fairly large apartment community and ven though i'm never happy replacing AC units or furnaces, Allright always does it professionally and in a timely manner. They always try to fix things to save us money before suggesting to replace it. The staff that I always see are great! We have a great relationship and I encourage you to give them a chance!

The technician that was called to our house was very professional, very quick and did an excellent job! Highly recommend this company to anyone in need.

Great experience with a well priced plumbing company. In and out in an hour to take care of a sink install. Took the extra 20 mins to answer some other basic plumbing concerns I had in the house and fixed my sink stopper free of charge.

Finally, the price was completely fair.
Based on how they treated me, a nobody with a problem, I would trust them with anything, big or small.

Joe came out in the rain at 8:30pm to save me from a basement flood. Couldn't finish that night, so he was back EARLY the next day.

The only business we trust in our home.

After making an appointment, waited 5 days for someone to come out and claim that they fixed our AC. Call them back the same day to tell them that the AC still doesn't work and now have to wait another 4 days for someone to come back out. This what you call top tier service.

Allright Plumbing and Heating was a life saver for me. They cut my costs in repairing my furnace and Travis was professional, reliable and trustworthy. This meant a lot to me being I'm a single gal!

Called on a Friday and first thing Saturday morning the tech Rob came in and took care of my leak. Rob was very professional,on time and efficient. He made some really good suggestions on things I should do. My AC unit is 15 yrs old and my furnace 22. I can't believe how cold the air is blowing. Thank you for taking care of the AC especially with triple digits around the corner. I now need a plumber and will be call these guys!

Had an excellent experience with this company.

Our AC was broken and we needed someone to fix it asap. Some incompetent folks from Wirenut had already siphoned $289 from us for what they called 'deep diagnostics'. They told us our furnace circuit board and step down transformer were burnt.

Travis from Allright arrived at our house and was able to figure out the issues in less than 5 minutes.

For $150, Travis put back some cool air in our rooms. The Wirenut folks had absolutely no idea what they were doing. They wanted to charge us $1,400 for what they called the 'Basic package', which would have only replaced the non-problematic furnace circuit board and the step down transformer. None of these components needed any work when Travis came.

I would recommend this company to anyone at any time.

Our kitchen drain was completely plugged up, we called our home warranty company and they sent out Allright Plumbing to fix it, they were there withing a few hours, very nice young man , knew what he was talking about, cleaned out drain and explained to us what was causing the problem (excess grease/fat down the kitchen sink garbage disposal/drain) and how to keep it from clogging again, (don't put grease down in the first place and periodically flush sink/drain with boiling water and Dawn, would help gut the grease buildup). All in all a pleasant experience, very professional, plus they are rated an A+ as a BBB accredited business, to fix a problem, I would recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing problems in the future.

I called Allright Plumbing to help me with a hot water issue. Travis came out within 1 hour and worked at troubleshooting the hot water heater. We were also having our bathroom remodeled at the time and he determined that the issue was not the hot water heater at all, but a mistake on my contractor's end. He was very professional and efficient and I appreciated his experience and honesty! I will absolutely be using them for all of my plumbing needs from now on!

Had our furnace at our rental go out on us and I called Allright about 11am and by 1:30pm the furnace was fixed! Great job and kudos to Allright Plumbing & Heating and the technician, Jacob!

Two Plumbers worked for an hour and a half and used 2 Water spigots ($35 each at Lowes) 40 feet of Pex pipe ($30 from Lowes) and I was billed over $600. When I called them about a 3rd project (because they were nice people) asking them come down on price due to how much obvious profit they made on me, they refused. Their head people didn't even call me back, just an email from their secretary.

Very friendly and professional staff. I was in a pinch with a difficult property management company who was unwilling to help with a bad water leak and these guys helped me get what I needed same day, and on a Saturday at that! Thanks Guys! Shout out to Matt who was my main point of contact and provided constant communication and updates.

This company was paid to clean and certify that the AC and furnace worked properly in a house I was going to purchase. I got the keys to the house and it’s very hot inside. I called this morning (Saturday) to have someone come out and Ryan (the “on-call technician “) would not come out. He was rude and in my opinion lazy. This company obviously does not stand by their work. If I could leave zero stars I would because this company was worthless to me.

I really do not know where to begin. This company’s communication skills are terrible. Twice I waited over two weeks to hear back from them, one of those times it was the owner. He was unapologetic and did not appear to be listening to what I was saying. The job was done very poorly, I myself had to troubleshoot what was wrong still after they said the job was complete. The Plummer suggested using duct tape to fix it...that is a red flag. Don’t let the helpful receptionists fool you into thinking the work will be good. Over the years we have had to ask them to come back and do the job right. With the latest mess it is safe to say there are plumbing companies with much higher reviews. You decide.

Very happy with my A/C and humidifier install. They had some challenges but they were very professional and handle all the issues. The price quotes from them were far superior than the others I received that were more for lower quality options. Highly recommend!

Called with an emergency about our water heater. They showed up and installed a new one in less than 1.5hrs after I called!

Travis and Walker came out and did an amazing job of relocating our hot water heater out of our crawl space in to the laundry room. It just so happened our appointment was scheduled on a very snowy day, they where very respectful, knowledgeable and did excellent cleaning up after the job. The amount of professionalism from scheduling, the owner Pete that came out to give the estimate and the professionals that did the job will forever earn a spot as the most professional heating and plumbing company I have ever done business with. Highly recommended!

They came out fast and did a great job.

We have used Allright twice, both with positive outcomes.
The first time that we used them it was to get a 2nd opinion on our furnace. The first company that came out could not source the problem and wanted to pull apart our furnace to try to find the problem. When Allright came out they found the source of the problem within minutes without tearing apart the furnace and was able to easily and quickly solve the problem.

Our second experience was with a dishwasher problem and it too was a quick and easy fix.
We trust Allright over the other companies that we have used, which equals added value! Thank You!

Great service! Parts charged a bit steep and came earlier than the agreed time when I wasn't home, but still better than the competition! I recommend and would used again.

Twice I called Allright Plumbing & Heating, because I saw they did a great job the first time! I needed a new under mounted sink put in, and they responded on a Sunday to put it in. You have to pay them overtime for that, but I needed it done. Great job placing the sink and sealing it. The second job was to shorten and seal a bathtub spout. They came quick and got it fixed. I recommend Allright.

We had them install a new furnace, new steamer for the central humidifier and a new water heater. For each thing they had to make multiple trips back out to our home to fix things that were not correctly done in the first place.
I will say, they are always friendly and have not charged us for these trips back though.

They sent out a person even though i have said 100% and specifically at the end of the call, I NEED TO RESCHEDULE BECAUSE I HAVE TO GO TO WORK AROUND THAT TIME I WILL CALL YOU BACK, she says OK...then we hang up, if she schedule me anytime sooner i be fine with no problems but around the inconvenient time frame they schedule me. They was lucky that I was still there just finishing getting ready to leave to go to work. Until I get a call from her saying he has arrived at your house. That caught me off guard cause i said i will call them back and reschedule so i didn't confirm anything but since he's here i told him i needed just an estimate and see what's wrong with the heating cause I don't know why its not working, so it was my fault for not saying to her on the phone that it was an estimate, so she sent out the wrong guy but it wasn't about that, it was about me saying i will call them back and reschedule and then she wouldn't have to send anyone out.

I went and talk to her about this problem and she try to make her self in the right and it sounds like she try to make me look i'm lying to get out of paying but no, I would pay for his time for coming over and giving me the estimate but not the asking price. We argue back and forth and we didn't want to argue anymore so i said in my mind f*** it, never again and I just paid the amount given even though that was there fault on there end for sending someone out when i said i will call them back and reschedule.

They had good reviews on Google so thats why i call them but after this i prefer people to record your conversation in case things like this happens and less arguing.

Had another company come by to fix a slow kitchen sink drain. Was told nothing could be done...strange. Allright was referred to me and I'm very thankful. No hesitation to fix the drain; was done professionally, efficiently and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

Today around 8:40am in Manitou Springs, one of their drivers cut me off as he was exiting highway (did NOT use turn signal and I was forced to brake hard). A few blocks later when he went to turn left (again, NO TURN SIGNAL) he moved all the way over into the turn lane, then drifted right, causing both passenger side tires to fully enter my lane and almost sideswiped me.

Not sure if he was on the phone, or just oblivious to others on the road, but turn signals and maintaining lanes should probably be requirements when driving a marked job van.

Amazing experience, I called 8 plumbers and no one answered the phone. Allright was the ONLY one that answered the first time I called! I had to reschedule my appointment several times due to counters not going in on time from a snow delay, julie answered every time and was so helpful in getting me rescheduled. Travis came out and was efficient and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We found our new plumbers!

We've called Allright twice now - once for a plumbing repair and once for heating. In both cases our technician was courteous, on-time, and very professional. Today our technician was hunting for the source of a strange sound from the furnace. He was able to determine there was nothing broken and no need to worry about leaks, so I was fine with just letting the noise go, and not worrying about it. But he was not willing to give up until he located it (two pieces of metal rubbing together) and wrapped some tape around it to make it stop. I will definitely be calling them if we have needs in the future.

Allright installed our new hot water heater. My husband thought he could do it and after he got it into the utility room realized there was more involved than he could do. Our home is older and the plumbing is not as straight forward. Allright absolutely met our needs and had no problem finishing the work he already started. They did a great job and also helped us pass the inspection. Friendly and great quality of work. Great reasonable prices. We will absolutely call them for any future plumbing needs.

Do your guys know they can't block fire hydrants or park on corners like this?

Twice in the last couple of weeks two different technicians came to our home to work on our furnace. The first technician found that during the fall maintenance, also done by Allright, some flue had not been cleaned. He cleaned it and the furnace worked fine about 10 days. The technician did not wear a mask. Yesterday during the snow storm we had to call again to have someone come out. This technician replaced the furnace motor. He did not wear a mask and I had asked when I called for the service that he wear a mask. He tracked snow on the hardwood floors and the carpeted stairs. I was busy trying to clean up after him. He had to go out to his truck twice. I finally got a large towel and asked him to use that under his shoes. He had a very large puddle of water near the furnace where he was working. After nearly a $1,000 I am hopeful that the furnace will work. I thought that Allright, plumbing and heating had very unprofessional employees. I won’t mention there names.

These guys are great. We've had Ryan and Hunter help us out on two occasions. They do good work!

I have never sat down and took the time to make a review on a company before. The service I received from Allright was so amazing I made sure to post the amazing service and my experience. I had a leak in a wall and I previously used another company for a water heater problem and when I called them they told me they couldn't come out for 4 days so i proceeded looking for another company and when I called Allright the girl immediately acknowledged my concern and sent a truck out within a few hours. The guys got here, immediately started looking for the leak and within a short time found it, fixed it and all my worries went away within 15 minutes. They were extremely professional, courteous and even made a suggestion on my filters to my air conditioner unit to make it perform better. Needless to say I will never use the company I did before that installed my hot water heater if the best they could do for me was come out in 4 days being a prior customer. I am so impressed with Allright Plumbing and Heating that they will be my contact for any future needs.

Travis came out to help set up our evaporative cooler. He was on time and very informative about how the system works.

We had a leak, but couldn't find where it was coming from. Allright was the first company out of 7 or 8 that I called that had a tech who could come out right away. Matt came to the house and fairly quickly found the leak and had it repaired. He was friendly, efficient and the charge was reasonable. I highly recommend Allright Plumbing!

We’ve lived in The Springs for a little over a year in a nice 70’s fixer upper. :) In that time, we were referred to Allright and have used them to replace/upgrade our water heater, all toilets in the home, furnace, thermostat & service our plumbing. They’ve done a great job and their pricing is very fair. They are a family owned business which shows in the way they take care of their customers. They are very responsive both in the office and on site to questions and communicate effectively. We’ll definitely continue to use them in the future for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs!

Our water pipes were making a high pitched whining sound whenever we ran the water. The technician arrived on time and had the problem diagnosed and repaired in under an hour. Quality of work was excellent and the price was fair.

I had water pressure problems, as in no water coming out of any faucet. The Town of Monument couldn't find the problem, and suggested I get a plumber in to take a look at/ replace the PRV. I called Allright, the appointment clerk was MOST courteous and friendly, and the technician was no nonsense, straight to the point and very helpful....very kind, too!

What I liked most about the experience:

The technician came for the PRV and that's what we worked on. There was no high pressure sales for maintenance contracts- no selling of specials...just coming in to fix the problem.

Incredible! We have been dealing with contractors because of a house fire and they were not great at all. Finally the house was taken care of and Allright was called in for plumbing. Totally professional, on time, and a true breath of fresh air! Thank you very much for making this experience with your company and outstanding one! Called these guys late on a Saturday and Jacob came to the rescue. My main water shutoff valve inside my house was leaking and needed repair immediately. He responded quickly with a quote and was on his way. Also gave me information about getting my utility company on-site to shutoff my water at the street. Jacob was patient while we waited for the utility company to finally find the shutoff (took longer than expected). Jacob worked quickly and plumbing leak was resolved. I highly recommend.

I comparison shopped and found the best price here . Scheduling was fast, the plumber shower up on time, and the install was clean and smooth.

These guys were awesome! The tech, Travis Walker, looked at my problem, we talked about it, he solved it, and even improved on my design, for less than I expected. Plumbing work isn't cheap, when you have a plumbing problem, you want it done right the first time, and Travis did that. Thanks guys! I will definitely call them again when I have another plumbing issue.

We had a leaking copper flex tube for the hot water side of the water heater, and of course it happened on Saturday. The technician, Travis, was quick to return my call, quick to get the work done while doing an excellent job, and the price was more than fair for a Saturday. I will definitely use Allright Plumbing again!

Super helpful over the phone. Gave us an estimate that was fair and informative. We would choose them again in a second.

May be ok if you don't mind hiring a carpenter too if the cutout isn't quite big enough (required sanding a little so the screws on the 2 drop in sinks would slide in) plumber was polite but disorganized, misplaced parts, didn't install all the clips and since I purchased the replacement sinks, refused to dispose of them for us. oh and had to go buy a new sink after he chipped the finish trying to bend screws. Just a mess, if he couldn't do the job he should have said so, what would have happened had I not sanded the cutout? Lesson learned won't use or recommend Allright Plumbers EVER! All the owner did was make excuses, didn't even admit it could have gone smoother, yes they are cheap, you get what you pay for.

Had hot water heater issues. They came out to where I live and it took the tech ten minutes to fix the part. Got a $135 charge for the service call and trip. Although they say their service area includes where I live, they didn't say anything about paying more for the trip. That night the pilot light kept going out again and when I called they said that yea your heater is older and you might think about replacing it... this is something that probably should have been stated at the beginning instead of trying to put a bandaid on the problem. Highly over charge for the little work done and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. If you can find someone else, then do it!

We had a basement pipe burst after a cold spell. After calling a dozen plumbers, Allright was the only one able to make it to our house the same day. So, I appreciate that. Travis the plumber did very good work, and the total bill to repair three bursts was very reasonable.

After removing the damaged drywall, I made an appointment with Allright to relocate the 16 feet of water pipe one joist in from the outside wall (drywall already removed by me). Their quote was $1,200, which is outrageous for what would be no more than a one hour job.

I have used Allright Plumbing & Heating in the past and will continue to do so On the service call today the technicians not only resolved the issue but were very gracious and knowledgable. I won’t hesitate to recommend them to friends.

No shows and no cares!

Called them to hook up our new kitchen sink after a new countertop installation. They were super eager to fit us in for their last-minute cancellation the following day. We were pinched for time and I was so glad they could fit us in between 3 and 5 the following day (Thursday). Two other companies couldn't come out until Friday and since we were pressed for time I stopped calling around and promptly booked with them. They never called, they never showed up, and around 4:45pm I finally called to address the issue - looks like Julie booked you for 2:30AM instead of PM - she tells me - and that’s not a time they conduct appointments so when she pulled the schedule for her plumbers this morning, our appointment did not exist. She continues to tell me that at this point there was nothing she could do for us since it was end of day.

Despite her kind demeanor, this is just bad business. We are now without a kitchen sink hookup, the other two companies are booked solid for Friday, and it's looking like we will now go the entire weekend without a sink or pay a premium for an after-hours appointment time slot due to this unfortunate oversight.

They have most certainly lost my business.

Professional, timely, and thorough. Had a gas line installed for a new range and a water line to a new fridge and had absolutely no headaches. They came in the exact windows they scheduled, were complete in the quoted amount of time, and had a great rate for the work completed! I called on 11/20, Pete came for the estimate on 11/26 and I got the estimate back on 11/27, work completed on 12/3, inspection 12/4, and they came back to install the range on 12/5! We have had the misfortune of needing to use plumbers quite a bit recently for various, unrelated issues. After a couple of bad or mediocre experiences, I called Allright Plumbing & Heating. They were fantastic! First of all, they stepped in to fill a job that another plumber backed out of. They were able to get me in last minute and worked with my schedule. They were also much more reasonably priced than the other plumbing companies I had worked with. The technician, Hunter, was polite, timely, courteous, and even called before he arrived to be sure he had all the parts he needed for the job before he got started. He did a great job installing a new faucet and reinstalling our garbage disposal. After working with so many other companies recently, I can say with confidence they did a top-notch job.

Travis and Walker arrived on time , were polite and professional and completed the work expediently. The cost was more than reasonable and the quality was superb. I have utilized their services many times before and will in the future.

Travis re-routed our gas line which used to be under a deck and attached it to the side of the house. His work was exemplary, and he was very personable. Even the inspector who came out raved about the fantastic job that was done on this project.

We also had a leak in our master bathroom which Joe fixed. He too did fantastic work and was very personable. He was honest and able to fix the leak without doing more than was needed like a previous company wanted to. That company wanted to do unnecessary work and charge us for something we didn't even need.

Having the right person for the job obviously makes all the difference!

Fantastic all around, very experienced! We have used Allright for adding water and sewer lines to our studio building, they have installed toilets, sinks, faucets, dishwasher, range, and a new gas line for us! Had them come out to fix my boiler which would not start, and while it was great that they came out same day, they took advantage of my heating situation to over charge me. $485 for a valve that costs $90 on Amazon (less for them through a wholesaler) and 30 minutes of labor including troubleshooting (only took a few minutes to install). I'm definitely willing to pay a premium for fast service, but this unfortunately passes the bounds of ethical pricing, and according to the tech is their standard pricing and was not a rush fee.
