We’ve used Affordable Plumbing for years and years. The service techs are friendly, and don’t have a problem with discussing issues, or even showing you what they find wrong. We’ve always gotten great quotes from this company and never felt like they took advantage of us. Great service all around!

I am a new home owner so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as price, but Billy was great. Very professional, he diagnosed and found the leak, and completed the repair in about an hour. He clearly explained what he was doing and the cost, and he gave me estimates for additional work that we will need in the near future. Billy also called several water companies trying to find out information about our water pressure. Very satisfied with the service, and would recommend!

This service was done back in April’22. With our house under contract, the buyers wanted an inspection scope and cleaning of the sewer lines. These folks came out and explained they could not clean the lines because we didn’t have an output. We discussed them scoping the lines but decided instead for them to just watch the inspectors video which showed clear lines. They were knowledgeable and upfront with what they could and couldn’t do and their recommendations. Their sign off on the lines were approved by the buyer with no problems.

Kevin arrived the same day I called and I told him what needed repair and replacing. I liked that I didn’t have to make another appointment for the work. It was done the same day to my satisfaction. Kevin and the other plumber were very personable and easy to talk to and they answered all my questions. I plan on calling them again if I need any plumbing to be done.

Gavin Roberts did a great job. Because he was persistent he solved a leak problem that was baffling to both him and his colleague called in to provide another set of eyes. Should I need plumbing repair in the future I will definitely call Affordable Plumbing.

It’s never fun to call a plumber after hours but it’s really not fun to call one on Christmas Eve. But, Dakota, with Affordable Plumbing made it pleasurable. He was responsive, arrived when he said he would, was very personable and got my plumbing problem fixed in a timely fashion. And when he left, you would never known he had been here - he left the bathroom spotless. I appreciate that and I appreciate his work ethic and would not hesitate to use them or recommend him or Affordable Plumbing in the future.

I had a great experience. I had not used this company before but plan on using them in the future. Everything, from scheduling, keeping me informed when the plumber arrived, to doing the repairs, was handled in a thorough and professional manner. Additionally, Jeff, the plumber who worked on my repair, was very conscientious and respectful about cleanliness, masking, and distancing during this COVID 19 situation. First off I did not retain this business I built a roof cover and the homeowner hired this electrician to come out and install these Canlite’s and they broke wood there Saul got marks all over and damage the ceiling and then they just left didn’t tell anybody anything I can’t stand it when professionals make obvious mistakes and just walk away I would not recommend this company to anybody also the day I was installing the ceiling I called the company twice to get a hold of the electrical department to ask how big their lights were so I could’ve cut the opening no response or callback very unprofessional seems like a company that just wants to take your money

I was having several plumbing problems at the same time. Although there was a minor scheduling problem at the beginning, it did get rescheduled. Dillon came to the rescue!!!! And he did a fabulous job. He was very friendly and was willing to show me what was going on. I learned a thing or two from him, and he gave me some tricks to help with future problems. The company makes a point of explaining the issues when I have a problem. Very responsive and knowledgeable.On this visit Lee found holes in the boiler vent pipes. Shut the system off. Almost certainly saved my life from CO2 poisoning. Outstanding instincts and skills. I’ll never use anyone else! 5 star rating!

I had our sewer rooted as regular maintenance. Willie, the young man that came out, did a great job. Spent the time necessary to make certain the line was throughly cleaned. Affordable has always done quality work!! Highly recommended.

Came home the evening of 8/16 to discover that the water heater had gone belly up...and the only way to stop the water flow was to turn off the main water line. Emailed and called AP&H the next morning-they were able to schedule a service call the same afternoon. Chuck Rucker, the service technician, was efficient and thorough in his assessment of the situation and ultimate replacement of the hot water heater and the shut-off handle! I have been an AP&H customer for many years and have strayed occasionally, only to be disappointed with the other company. AP&H is now the first and only company I call. Thank you for your excellent service!

Had a pipe burst this past Saturday morning. Affordable got me on the schedule and Matthew came 3-4 hours early. He immediately identified the issue and fixed it. He gave me recommendations on working with insurance and what to do from there. I will definitely use again for any service offered. Thanks!

We needed some plumbing done. John came out to help. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he would do. I would recommend John.

They replaced the entire plumbing side of the irrigation system, the vaccum breaker was busted and they also noticed really bad pipe quality and they replaced the whole assembly, they did an excellent job went above and beyond and taught me how to maintain it as well. To ensure it remains in good order. Cannot thank them enough and it was half the peice quoted by a plumber a while back.

Someone from Accounts Receivable called, demanding payment for services that were never rendered. They had our address but a different name. Instead of apologizing, the individual became rude, obnoxious and hung up on us. When we called back to make sure it really was Affordable Plumbing & Heat who had called (and not just someone trying to scam us), we got connected to the same individual again. He turned rude and obnoxious instantly and hung up on us a second time.I had used the services at two different houses in COS, but I will NEVER use this company again.

So responsive and kind. I have not had a company be so appreciative to be selected for a job. Came the same day and Dean came to our home as scheduled. He was so polite and professional. Very considerate of our home as he completed the repair. I genuinely feel that he was honest about all that needed to be repaired. Dean was exceptional with his service attitude and took the time to explain everything to myself and my elderly parents. Highly recommend!

Affordable Plumbing installed a new Rheem Heating and A/C system in our house back in Aug '22 based on the best value for the money offered in Colorado Springs. After firing up the heating system in November an issue was found with the system in Jan '23. I was put in contact with Brahn, their general manager, and once Brahn understood the issue he stated Affordable Plumbing wants to make it right. Brahn assigned Technician Steve to work on our system, and Steve, using his HVAC experience and tenacity, modified our furnace filtration box and expertly solved the issue. I recommend Affordable Plumbing when you need to replace your HVAC system and maintenance needs.

Ridge was and outstanding technician who did not pressure me and laid everything out with facts. I was extremely pleased with my experience. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my decision.

Called Affordable Plumbing and Heat to check out our water heater on Wednesday. They came out, diagnosed the *actual* problem, and only replaced the part they knew was bad, saving us lots of money (as seen above).We found out today that there is a secondary issue, caused by the excessive pressure prior to the initial part replacement. I called (on the weekend) and they are not only coming back today, but they are waiving the weekend rates and fixing the secondary valve.Dustin and Roland are our go-to guys from here on out.

I had a valve that was leaking and needed replaced. The valve was easy to get to and shutting off the water to the house was no problem. If I had the tools I would've done it myself. The tech was nice and communication was good but I paid 638$ to replace one valve. The tech was there less than an hour. When I got the invoice I was charged for 4 feet of pipe. No new pipe was installed. The valve cost 25$ at lowes. So labor cost was 600 for approx 1 hour? I've worked in the trades before that was not a 600$ job. I feel like I was taken to the cleaners. I was charged for bleeding the water lines for 1 hour he wasn't even there for hour and that consisted of turning on the tub to let the water run out. If you are looking for someone affordable keep looking. I couldn't believe it!

Call someone else! But if you decide to use them, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, if they tell you your pipe burst get a second opinion! Dishonest and lied to me about a broken pipe under my living room floor and would have cost $5,000! Called another plumber and fixed my problem for under $200. I can't stress this enough, they tried to blame it on the guy being new, but the funny thing is they had several guy's come out. So, they were all new? Save your self the headache and call someone else. I ended up paying close to $300 for nothing, still had pipes backing up and they refused to refund the money even though the problem was not fixed by them. 2 days of having to leave work to meet them and paying the other plumber to fix what they didn't, in the end I was out hundreds of dollars because of their scam.

Technician was very good. Answered all my questions. The primary issue was not resolved, the dishwasher still makes a gurgling noise. But the work done was great. Snake down kitchen sink drain to a length of 30 feet. Pulled up some gunk. Not allot. Very happy with the service I got today. Options for further work were provided with estimates.

Until I actually receive a firm quote outlining the product to be supplied, a detail of the installation it is difficult to respond to a quality and value question. However Roy was excellent, explained what they needed to do and how it would be accomplished. Since I have not received an actual quote I don't know when the install would take place or any information on the cooling unit supplied.

Technician completed expansion tank replacement and tank flush. Availability and service was excellent; however, the charges exceeded the average cost for this area.

What a huge mistake I made even calling Affordable Plumbing!!!!! I had a outdoor faucet that was spewing water, and I was concerned. Not being a plumber, I anticipated that the faucet would need to be replaced. I was given a quote which included their extra money just to come to my door. I was curious to see what all the tech was going to do (he was very nice) and watched him in disbelief when he spent all of 10 minutes replacing a plastic piece that I later googled to see how much it was. I was charged $439.25 to replace a $19 part (which by the way is made in Colorado Springs). I checked to see how long he was there by watching my security cameras, and he was there for no more than 20 minutes!!!!! That comes out to $1092.75 per hour. I stewed on this for over a week and finally called to see if they would reduce this price because it was such a simple fix. WHICH I NOW KNOW!!!!! And did not get anywhere. They stand by their prices and do not have a problem charging such a high price to screw people over. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I even asked the guy why they called themselves Affordable Plumbing. His direct quote was Affordable Plumbing doesn't mean it is the cheapest. That was NOT affordable!!!!! I think they have no integrity at all. To screw over some customers to probably cover longer repairs is just plain dishonest and downright greedy! I will never call them again, and will post this to as many places as I can!!!!!

He was very informative and a pleasure to work with.Adam and Chean removed our old furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater. They then installed our new equipment. Burst pipe on Christmas Eve during a historic cold snap. Affordable plumbing were able to come the fastest and get us fixed up and restore water. Our plumber was James and he was prompt, professional, personable knowledgeable and tidy. We will use them in the future for any plumbing needs.

Willy was extremely thorough in unclogging our main sewer line. He freed the clog, then stayed a little while longer while we ran all the faucets, showers, and flushed toilets just to be sure water would not backup into the house. Absolutely great!

They took our call at 5pm on a Friday afternoon and were able to squeeze us in the next day. They provided options and were able to find a tech who was experienced with our non-standard water heater and set up. Joe was our tech; he was on time, professional and thorough, answered all my questions. Pricing was fair based on what I could find. Too early to say how reliable the product is as it’s only been a few days, but the service and install were outstanding.

Both Adam and Geromino did fantastic job installing our new furnace. They were professional and experienced and represented the company in the finest way. They did everything necessary to ensure that my home heating and air conditioning were working properly.

I called Affordable Plumbing with a major pipe leak. They prioritized my emergency and came out within about 4 hours to patch the pipe. Their plumber also explained some safety mechanisms to prevent future winter emergencies. I would hire them again for my next plumbing problem.

When the Home Depot appliance installers busted open a hot water line and flooded my house, I called Affordable for emergency plumbing. They arrived same day, fixed everything, and installed the dishwasher the Home Depot installers had left behind in their haste to vacate. Eric H of Affordable carefully documented everything for my insurance, expertly fixed what was broken and installed master shut-off valves so it would never happen again. I cannot overstate how much I appreciated the professionalism and expertise of this company and its employees.

Set an appointment two days out, let them know ahead it was just a bathroom sink faucet, for which the hot water control had broke off and so the faucet needed replacing. It's a 30 or 40 minute job but I didn't have time to do it myself. And I had used Affordable in the past without a problem....not sure what's changed. Two guys showed up and quoted over $400!! I paid them the $75.00 call charge and told them to get lost. I don't operate like that and don't do business with others that do. We all need to make a living but you gain trust and repeats by being fair and a good value.

Our shower handle cartridge was shot. We tried with no success to change it out so we called Affordable. Dean came out next day. He did a great job! Professional, courteous, informative and respectful. Thanks for a job well done.

Warning! Electrician did not know code to properly install my outside electrical panel upgrade and installation. Did not pass code, so outside work had to be removed from the exterior wall of my house which left gaping holes in the siding. I was told it would be repaired, but after numerous phone calls which were not returned I am left with repair costs to restore my porch wall to its former state. Extremely poor customer service.

I had electrical and HVAC work done by these guys. I’m very happy with the outcome, from the polite and active office staff who schedule the visit through to the techies who do the work. The management is flexible and unlike some other companies will state an hourly labor rate. No hesitation in recommending them.

A negative experience overall. We own a house that is rented to an all women sober or half-way house. On 10/14, we called for service on a blocked drain that was flooding the basement. An appt was scheduled for 6-8 pm. The drain tech showed up at 9:30 pm. He was only there for a few minutes when he said he would have to go get a different snake from his office.2.5 hours later, he came back after midnight (a mother of a newborn was waiting for him all evening to complete the job). He (Justin) broke the flange (according to the plumber who came out the next day).Our invoice has a garbled, not clear summary of what happened.He left the house around 1 am and left the basement door wide open on a cold night with women and a baby sleeping inside. These are women fighting addiction and abusive relationships.The next morning another appointment with the real plumber was set, and once again they were hours late. The repair of the flange took several hours and hundreds of dollars. The first bill we have received was $441.50. We are expecting the next bill for the flange to be about the same.We asked for the video of the clean out, but we don't expect it (they never sent us the video from a visit to a different house- which we requested on numerous occasions). We asked for member application, to help offset all of these huge bills, but we haven't received that either.To top all of this off, the drain backed up again yesterday. We called them this morning and said it was urgent. They promised someone at 12:30 or 1 pm. That person just showed up at 3 pm.We asked to speak to a manager about all of this, we haven't heard from anyone yet. I can only help that writing this review will help them improve their horrible service!

These people are just out for money!!My main drain line was clogged on Saturday before Father's day and I called for the emergency 24 hour service. The tech who was sent, spent 3 hours trying to unclog my drain and kept calling other people for help and wasn't able to unclog it.He said he didn't have the correct tools on site and wanted me to wait the next day for the camera tech to go out just to check and see if my drain wasn't broken and wait another 24 hours to get another tech out to try and unclog my drain.He said he had to leave soon because he had another call who also had their drain clogged. The tech was very unprofessional and gave me no solution and was still trying to charge for service which was very ridiculous!I called Rotor Rooter and they had a tech come out the same day. The tech was able to unclog my drain within the hour and then checked my drain with a camera and said it was properly cleaned and wasn't broken at all.I wouldn't recommend this company if you have an emergency with plumbing!!

Got my kitchen drain unplugged - used 2 different snakes and cleaned the whole line to the main line. Cleaned up and answered my questions. Would recommend.

They completely overcharged us, the replacement part was $62 and they said we would need a special treatment for our furnace (which was not needed at all). Total of parts $174, the technician spent very little time at out house, down payment $720, total bill $1450! We canceled our service for the replacement part and second treatment and tried to communicate with them about the price but were ignored. There is no communication, they send you their own collection service to put a lien on your house! We are business owners ourselves, and would never treat our customers that way.

Adam & Chaun were great. They installed everything professionally: protected the carpet, secured all the lines, and left the area clean. They installed the thermostat and instructed me on it’s operation and the care and maintenance of my new furnace and AC unit. Excellent customer service.

Affordable used to be a full service plumbing service but as of the last two years have begun to slip. Use them for any plumbing issue EXCEPT when you have clogged drains. They do not carry the proper equipment on all trucks. This allows them to make multiple appointments (and charge you each time) for the same issue. One tech actually tried to clear the clogged line (grease) with compressed air (seriously). He didn't have the snake machine or the jet machine on the truck. WOW - and that is after I had specifically told the dispatch to make sure they had that equipment. I've had good experiences with Affordable (years ago now) -- but if you have any kind of clog - call a rooter company that specializes in drains. Also, the techs are polite - my issue is with management and dispatch. Do not use this company for any type of clog!

I just had a new 50 gallon water heater installed today by Affordable heating and plumbing Company, I had only phoned them the day before when the issue arose. I am seriously impressed, both with the lady who answered the phone, arranged for the technician to call out to diagnose the problem, and the technicians themselves. (Brian and Bruce).I was kept informed at all times of the expected time of arrival of the plumbers over the 2 days; what precisely the issue was, (he had to check all the exterior vents to figure out where the water was coming from) and was very thorough in his evaluation.The work was completed efficiently and in a most professional friendly manner. I would highly recommend this company! They even arranged the date for the inspector to review the work to ensure it is up to code.

I called Affordable Plumbing because our sump pump installed 1 1/2 years ago failed while under warranty. Even so, I was reticent, because installing an awful product with a good warranty doesn't help us with the cost of the service call and the flooding problems that occur with a failed pump.If rating just the company, I might have only given it one or two stars; but if I had the opportunity to rate the plumber, I would have given Troy five stars. He showed up in the first hour of the two-hour window, he was courteous in our home, but mostly he made certain I understood the basic operation of a pump so I can perform maintenance to extend the life of the product. He also stayed long enough to ensure the pump was working well.

Great company. Showed up right at the beginning of the two hour window (which as a previous plumber is hard to do! Especially at 1 in the afternoon). That was super nice so I could just go back to work right after. He was friendly, considerate and explained to me what was wrong. How he felt fixed it. And was super kind the entire time. He fixed it fast and their system has them take pictures and email them to you. So, if you’re like me and document EVERYTHING for your rental, then this is GREAT! Defiantly my first choice in plumbing!

I contacted this company because my husband's coworker said they were amazing. What I received was less than amazing service. I was qouted $89 just for a person to come out. The first day nobody showed up because they didn't take down my number correctly. When I called them they were apologetic and put me as the first call in the morning the next day 7-8 am. At 730 I contacted them only to learn the office doesn't open until 8 and nobody will be here until after 8.  So the same person that took down the wrong number also gave me the wrong time. The worker arrived and told me I could replace one part that really wouldn't do much for $325 or replace my entire unit. After not choosing to replace the one part I was charged $159 for the service call and not the stated $89. I was told it was based on the length of the drive which is why I was charged more. That was never relayed to me before the service call. I wrote this negative review because I had another ac service come out and charge me $180 to actually fix my ac. I have never been so displeased with a company and how inaccurate they are with customer service as well as air condition service.

Affordable used to be a great company, now they are just a scam. Last year my A/C unit starting cycling on and off constantly. Had Affordable come out to check it out (they installed the unit several years back). Tech came out to look at it, said the issue was my furnace had a dirty filter (which he replaced with a filter I had) and that the A/C unit will need to be cleaned as it had cottonwood seeds in it. I told him I can clean it myself (it's easy, but time consuming). After being there basically 10 minutes, and only using my parts, I was charged over $250 for the service. Absolutely ridiculous. I called and emailed the office to complain, no response. I will never do business with them again.

I needed to have the pressure vacuum breaker replaced since it was split over the winter during a freeze. Called APH and set up an appointment. The tech gave me a quote of just over $375. I was startled by the high quote. I asked how much of that was for the pressure vacuum breaker. I was told it was a set price. I looked online and found the part that looked identical to mine for just under $85. The job was done very well and the tech was very courteous. I saw in other reviews that it was mentioned how the cost seemed high. From my experience, the job was done in half an hour so I paid over $500 an hour for labor. I thought paying $150 for labor for an auto mechanic at a dealership was high! Not happy with this pricing structure for future work.

Wow! Our furnace crapped out the day after Thanksgiving. They had a guy out later that day to do an estimate and go over our options. Turns out that replacement was the best choice and we scheduled the job. Saturday morning, Adam and Chean showed up, quickly surmised the situation and best options and go to it. They said it would be about 6 hours. Turns out it was closer to 11 (!) hours. They worked in the snow, the wind and the night until it was done and done right! Super comfortable with our new furnace and A/C unit and can't recommend these guys too much! Super great crew, great price, and unheard of work ethic. Great job!

They troubleshooted a problem I was having with my gas water heater

This company was hired by the seller of my home to repair the sewer line under my driveway. We were told the project would be done within 2 weeks. A week after the project began we walked into our home to find our water had been shut off, we were not informed of this prior to it happening. After I reached out to the project manager I was informed that the water line had been damaged in the repair but they were working on it. At that time I was also informed the project was taking a bit longer because of some unforeseen issues but they were working on it and would re-pour cement on Friday 8/5. I reached out later in the week and at that time was told they’d actually just be digging out the driveway Friday and would lay cement the next day, 8/6. These dates came and went and we heard NOTHING from the company. We received NO updates for a week (mind you our driveway is dirt at this time). After we reached out they finally sent someone back out to “look at it”. At that time we were informed there was a crack they created during demo that they’d probably also have to repair. Another week went by with no updates. After that week passed they came back out, did a little prepping and we were told they’d pour concrete later in the week. We again heard nothing until they showed back up on 8/30 to “look it over” yet again. At that time we were told they couldn’t do anything until the following Wednesday because they didn’t have concrete. This company has been “working on” our project for over a month, dragging their feet and not even having the courtesy to keep us updated. We have also had to request the correct water pipe cap multiple times, each time their response was “yea we’ll get one” but no attempt was actually made to do so. We FINALLY got our cement laid on 9/16, a month and a half after they initially claimed it would be done. About a week after the cement was laid they said they’d be back to correct a corner, they also damaged a sprinkler head during the process and said they’d fix that when they fix the corner. 3 weeks passed with no attempt to come back and make repairs. When we reached out the project manager told us “everything was taken care of” and when we told him that nobody had been back since the driveway was laid and we hadn’t even been contacted regarding the broken sprinkler, he then said they’d be out later that day to “finish up”. This has been a 2 month ordeal now for a project they said would take 2 weeks. Every attempt to get updates has been answered with incorrect information and outright lies regarding work that hadn’t been done. I only hope the repairs were actually made and no other damages were done that we are unable to see. I will NEVER do business with this company again and I suggest nobody else do so either.

Really great technicians, top notch.I gave two stars because the technician that arrived could not repair our issue, no problem, we found someone that could.What happened next is unforgivable, the technician did not ask for, nor mention that he charged us for this.We received an E-mail days later asking for $75 for the service fee, which we would have paid willingly at the time of service.No problem, I sent the invoice over to my AP,AP works on regular payment periods and this took extra time.I have been getting weekly calls/E-mails form Chris Zaugg literally harassing me for this payment and have told him repeatedly that checks are cut on a regular basis, even including him on copy with AP whom even gave a date the check was to be cut.But this is not good enough for Chris Zaugg, calling/E-mailing multiple times a week and asking for a check number, trying to get me to cancel the check when he was already told the check had been cut multiple times.Even going as far to state that he would talk to his manager about never servicing us again - over $75!He is simply unwilling to wait, then check the mail based on the date the check was stated to be cut.There are many, many services like this out there, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I am so impressed with Affordable Plumbing. Found a leak in the laundry room this morning at 9:00. Called another local company and they told me I would have to pay after hour fees because they couldn't get a technician out before 4:30. By the Grace of God, I called Affordable and they were going to be able to send out a technician out between 3-5. Yay! Needed help on a couple weekends this year when our sewer backed up. Responded quickly, solved our problems efficiently.Every single employee I've dealt with are phenomenal. We had a couple schedule changes and the staff were apologetic and responsive. The work was spot on and all inspections passed with flying colors. My go-to for plumbing, and they'll be my first call for HVAC and electrical, too.

My technician was great! I'm sorry to say, They didn’t charge the correct amount, but some reason it’s now my fault. Avoid this company at all costs! This company is miles away from any personalized/ professional service, It didn't matter what financial position I was in as I already paid them $375.00 for 10 min of work and they could not match up the bathroom sink valves, for that price, I should have gotten matching Gold Valves. They demanded $200.00 or else. I was willing to pay, but I needed time as I get paid once a month. I paid some lady in Georgia, claiming to be the collection agency for the All ‘Not’ so ‘Affordable Plumming and Heating who threatened to put a lean against my home over $200.00, yeah, it would take more money than that-to place a lean, think before you speak, your losing money for the Company. She misspelled my email, was not detailed at all, was not thorough in her policies, we asked for a receipt, she could only guarantee an invoice, as it was explain that would come from somewhere else.I've been effected like many due to the Pandemic this company doesn't have a clue. It will fail eventually because it's out of touch and management is like pay me or else! That's a bad business model, good luck

Billy was wonderful. He was transparent about his thought process and recommendations. In the end, our issue was not related to our plumbing but Billy provided recommendations of local companies who could remedy the situation. He also made recommendations for other potential plumbing issues in the home that were incredibly helpful!

Charged me for work they did not do, and caused a fire hazard. Terrible service. I was charged a crazy amount for the service which they said would make my heater work. I payed it anyway because they charge a trip fee and I didn’t want that to go to waste. After the guy finished the heat still didn’t work and he was telling me I would need to spend another thousand on top of what I already payed to get it to work. I refused to do so. I reached out to the manager and I spoke to him multiple times. Each time he said he would call me back before the end of the day and he never did. This happened 3 times. After all of that he was only willing to refund me $100 pretty much for just the trip fee. I had other companies come out and was charged 1/3 of the price. I also found that they installed things incorrectly causing a fire hazard.

Our garbage disposal and pipes under our sink clogged and it was 2 days prior to Thanksgiving so we asked for after hours repair. Kelton did several things to clean everything out and replaced all of the under sink piping. He also had to snake the main pipe to rid it of soap buildup and he did all of this in less than 2 hours. When he finished everything was like new again.

They were able to do it same day and arrived early! They were knowledgeable, nice and honest about the costs throughout the time of the repair.

There was a slight snag in the scheduling but it all worked out in the end. Troy came out and took care of everything. He was proffesional, personable and did a great job. He quickly identified the issue with my water heater, fixed it and showed me how I can take care of the problem myself if the issue ever came up again in the future. Fantastic service.

I had no hot water on a Sunday morning and called Affordable Plumbing. Expecting a few days without hot water, I was greatly surprised to hear they carry hot water heaters in their truck! Five hours later, I had hot water! Wow! Jeff was so nice and efficient.

I had a emergency plumbing problem with a failing sewer line , a leaking water heater, and hard water problems. Affordable plumbing addressed these problems with delays and logistical problems along the way. Eddie O. the projects manager quickly assessed each problem. Eddie offered me a hard water system which will help with hard water problems. The plumbers were courteous and professional. Randy the excavation manager kept me updated on delays and coordinating permits with the Colorado Springs Utility, El paso county regional department, and Security water and Sanitation.All of this can be mind boggling, but Affordable got repairs done and projects certified and inspected. The ladies in their office kept site managers informed to what I as a customer was concerned about. So, my only comment is Affordable does care about their work and be patient and communicate. Times are tough for everyone, understanding is a must, but a home is only as good as the plumbers- these professionals came through for me.

Dillon and Mark were Awesome! Dillon spent over an hour with me investigating our issue and as a result saved me from making a $15000 mistake.Previous contractors told me we needed to replace the entire main sewer line to the street. Dillon came out and found that it was under my house and not in my yard. Then Mark came out and fixed it.$800 instead of $15000, five stars for sure.

The service person was prompt, clear in what was happening and fair in their pricing for the work done.There was some damage that happened due to the age of the pipes but they fixed it with no extra charge.

These guys were amazing. We had a severe water leak and were leaving for an extended trip the next morning. Within 3 hours of the call Hugh was at the house and had us fixed up in about an hour. This was an after-hours call and we are so thankful he was able to get our leak located and repaired so quickly.

Quick to respond. Fair pricing. When everyone else was booked for 2 weeks out, they found time the next day to address the issue and kept me informed along the way.

Affordable Plumbing may do good work, but we were never given a chance to know whether or not they do. We had a potential water heater problem that we called them about on Monday (3/22). They sent a guy out that afternoon (for an after-hours fee of over $200..... and as we discovered after hiring one of their competitors, that’s almost twice as much), and by Tuesday afternoon (3/23), they were demanding payment and threatening collections. I had no issue paying them, but I did request that they at least verify who they were (identity theft!) and that they provide a diagnosis from the inspection before I did. Instead, we got multiple threats about non-payment and were treated with complete hostility. Who wants to work with someone who threatens you before you’ve even hired them? There are a lot of options and a lot of great companies, but this is not one of them. Please stay clear.

Our sewer line was backing up into our house and when I called them at 4:30 in the afternoon even though they didn't have any official appointments left for the day the owner of the company showed up personally on his way home from work within an hour to give us an estimate and they were there early the next morning fixing the problem, Everyone who works there was very nice. Also they were literally thousands of dollars cheaper than the estimate that roto rooter gave us. I had another issue with another water line a few weeks later and they had someone out there the same day to fix it for a great price.

The plumbers who have come to my home have been professional and tried to help me come up with a solution that would fix the problem that I could afford. The plumber who got the line cleared went over and beyond and kept everything clean. Thank you so much. Billy and Lance came out to give us a quote on finishing our basement. They bid $2600 less then other companies and fixed a copper pipe problem immediately. The other companies wouldn’t fix the problem until they could fit it in their schedule. I was looking at over a week of a leaking pipe with the other companies but Billy didn’t feel comfortable allowing it to continue leaking on a rusted gas line. He was very professional and honest. Never made me feel uncomfortable being alone with him due to my husband not being able to leave work to be there with me. I will be using them for all my future plumbing needs. Our main sewage line blocked up on us on Saturday, and I started calling around to see if I could get anyone out same day. I was surprised that of the dozen or so companies I tried calling Affordable Plumbing was the only one that picked up and set an appointment for early the following day. Chris showed up on time even a little early. He went right to work, and had our system up and running in about an hour. Chris also gave me a quote at the beginning of the job and actually can in less than his quote when all was said and done. I definitely will be using Affordable Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

I had use this company before for a gas valve replacement for a stove and they did a good job. I thought I would use them again for a leaking toilet in a rental property. The technician came and just looked at the inside of the Kohler toilet at the type of parts to replace it all, he didn't take the canister out or try to find where the leak was coming from. He then spent most of his time on hold waiting to find the internal parts from their distributor . He then quoted me over $400 for the labor and parts to install the internal components. This is no way Affordable as the name tries to portray the company. I told him that was absurd and paid the $75 dollar trip fee (outrageous price as well for not even a true diagnosis). I then went ahead and Youtube the problem and was able to fix it with a $6 dollar seal replacement for the canister from Home Depot. The seal was corroded and was the obvious source of the leak. I don't appreciate any company trying to price gouge their customers. I would not recommend this company.

I’ll never do business with Affordable Plumbing. Tech doesn’t come equipped with all the parts needed on the truck, quotes $200 open shop fee, tries to up sell me in tank size, quotes $3000. I said No. charges me $85 travel fee proving it by playing a small portion of a recoded appointment call. I plan to tell a lot of people about my experience with Affordable Plumbing. I called affordable Plumbing due to a drainage issue on my kitchen sink. All the piping from the garbage disposal and sink were leaking due to old Plumbing. Terrible. Came out for a clog, that parts they got. They put the pipes back on and they leaked. Caled them they came back the second time for the leak, not fixed. Love our condo but have had plumbing issues from the day we moved in 6 months ago. Absolutely wonderful service. The guys were fast and courteous, and got our new furnace and thermostat installed in about 5 hours. They also cleaned up when they were done, which was awesome (there was a lot of dust under the old furnace). I will definitely be using them again.

The pilot light on our vented heater would not stay lit. I called and arranged for a tech to be here the next day. When the tech arrived he proved that the purpose of technology is to embarrass us. The pilot light stayed lit the first time. Justin went ahead And cleaned off 2 or 3 years of soot and tested the unit again. Yes, this cost me a service charge but my heater is in better shape.I’ve used these guys now for both home and business. They have proven to be professional, knowledgeable and quick. I intend to call them first next time I need plumbing or heating work done.

I wasn't satisfied with my first appointment with Affordable Plumbing. I called to express my disappointment and my call was returned by a manager. He rescheduled a follow up appointment to remedy the situation. A technician showed up less than a week later to fix the leak in my AC line. He not only fixed the leak (which required recovering all refrigerant, torching the line, and then refilling it) he ensured there was no other leak by testing the line pressure and even did an *excellent* job thoroughly re-insulating my A/C line.Affordable Plumbing went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with their service. It's rare to come across a company with this much integrity this day in age, but I'm glad I did.

This company is really outstanding! They communicated very well regarding our appointment and even called to ask if they could come early. The plumber was so professional! He explained everything in detail, showed us a video of the issue, and helped us create a quick plan for repair. I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing!

Affordable really manages to hit the nail on the head with every experience I’ve had with them. Jared came by and did some maintenance/ check-up on my AC and furnace. He was attentive to every aspect, answered all my questions and gave me some awesome tips for things to look out for in the future. He was even a few minutes early to my home. Affordable Plumbing and Heating went above and beyond my expectations. After having out basement flood with sewer waste from a backup, we gave them a call at 10pm. They were at my home within the hour and immediately got to work to try to unclog the line. After only getting so far, they gave a professional opinion about our next steps and guided us through what we needed to do. The gentleman that showed up was courteous and very knowledgeable. The whole process went very smoothly and professionally. It was such a late night but they showed up and helped us out as much as they could. We will continue to use them for the rest of our plumbing issues going forward and I highly reccomend them to anyone.

Had a hot water heater installed with a code venting upgrade. They came out on a Saturday (which was scheduled in advance) and installed the new one. I was told it would be good to go and they scheduled the inspection. The day of the inspection I called to see when they might be by and it was never scheduled. No big deal. The inspector came the following week and failed it because it was the wrong venting gauge. I called affordable immediately and had to argue with 3 different people that they had installed the new venting (they claimed they just installed the water heater when venting upgrade was clearly on my invoice). Luckily, affordable came and fixed the issue that day (and almost charged me even though it was something they did not do correctly).Next week the inspector came out again. It failed for combustion venting this time. This is when it got a little frustrating. Called affordable and they said that they could have a tech come out to fix it. The day of the appointment affordable called me and said that they didn't have the proper venting and that they probably couldn't fix the issue because their supplier was closed on a Saturday. I told them out of convenience I would happily provide the vent they needed to help out. They said they would call me right back to see if that would work for the tech. I waited 1 1/2 hours before I called them back to see if someone was actually going to come by. Couldn't get an answer and was forwarded to the manager. My information was forwarded to the Denver manager instead and he tried to help me when it wasn't even his issue to deal with. Finally (and without a call) the tech, Nigel, showed up. He informed me that putting in the vent wouldn't be free (even though I was told it would be taken care of because of all of the hassles I had dealt with already the day prior by Heather) and that my best option was to just remove the door while the inspector was present and put it back up after. You could tell he didn't want to do the work and cared more about making sure I signed the invoice that claimed I denied venting. No, I wanted venting but you did not want to honor your word about something that should have been covered. Super shady. Hopefully my water heater will finally pass after dealing with these people for over a month.I would not recommend them in any way. If you are installing a hot water heater that has to pass code I would assume as a licensed contractor you want to make sure it passed correctly and did not have the ability to harm your customers in the long run for something as simple as not wanting to spend an hour installing a vent. It's a little embarrassing on your end.The only two people that have been nice throughout this whole process were Ed and Heather. Feared a frozen pipe during the - 30° temperatures. Called at 7pm, had a technician (Gage) out by 10am the next day. Super kind, helpful, and set us on the path to defrosting the clogged pipe. Would use them again.

Mathew performed excellently today. He was on time, personable and very professional. We used him to uninstall a kitchen sink, disposal and dishwasher for a remodel. Additionally, he moved a gas supply line under our cooktop. While turning off the water supply, he noticed rusty hot water. coincidentally, we had been discussing the need for a new hot water heater just this week. He quickly installed two 50 gallon heaters. HIGHLY recommend Affordable Plumbing.

Mathew quickly identified a slight crack in a waste water pipe from the upstairs sink leaking into a walk out level below. And replaced a 2’ section after.opening the wallboard in the precise location. Job well done!

I've had two projects done by Affordable Plumbing now, and both times they were fast and professional. This time I had the water heater and furnace vents replaced and a chimney liner put in. Very well-done and Steve and Christian were very nice and polite. That's important to me. I will go to Affordable again, when needed.

Came back to edit my review. Their absolute poor service and inconsistencies on the plumbing side tarnished any good they may have had. Never were they on time, leaking finished connections, and Jon-lise F. So called regional collections manager. I would be embarrassed to have such a rude and obnoxious employee on my payroll. How someone could be so rude is astonishing. The invoice stated work to be done included, re-camera, hydro-jet and pulling of permits. Which none of the 3 were done. Jon-lise F. told me that only means if they need to be done. So I believe I should be able to get a deduction in price as that work was not performed. I told her her contract conflicts with what she is saying over the phone. The contract does not state if. She had the audacity to say what, do you want us to rewrite our contracts just for you? Followed by it doesn't matter it won't change anything. I cannot believe one would allow her to speak on behalf of ones company.

I personally did not use Affordable, however I now have had 4 different clients use them for sewer line repairs and leak repairs. All of these particular clients had the same issues unfortunately; they are very expensive on their estimated repairs then costs went up after they started repairs and I was told from a supervisor (when I tried to help my clients) that they normally charge a base cost of $1800.00 regardless of the specific repair if it has to do with a sewer line. Although they have a 10 year warranty that warranty only covers the materials not the labor; so if they have done something incorrect which this was the case on 2 of these, then the warranty did not cover that for my clients. I work with a lot of contractors in my profession and I have lived in El Paso County all my life.....I will never recommend Affordable to any of my clients moving forward, very sad because many years ago this used to be a great local business. : (

He was punctual and got straight to work while also keeping me informed as he worked through the possible issues. Charged me $700 to diagnose and clean a dirty coil. The technician sat in the car for 2 hours and the job took 6. Can’t imagine how cleaning a coil could take that many hours. SMH

Update 3/3/22 - After posting my original message, I did receive a call from a customer service manager and he apologized and was able to get the right person scheduled for today. They, along with another tech, came and removed the old install and replaced it with a properly done install. They were very helpful and apologetic. So I've upped my review to 4 stars since they were able to fully repair this free of charge. I can't go all the way to 5 stars since I had to deal with this whole thing and it would have been avoided had they sent the correctly qualified technician in the first place.**Original Review.I had a microwave exhaust vent installed on Tuesday, Feb 22nd, 2022. Communication up to that point was great and I was able to get it scheduled quickly. They called the day before and confirmed that they would be arriving promptly at 9am the following day. Come install day, the technician arrived around an hour late with no communication that they were on their way or they were going to be late. It had just snowed the night before so I cut them some slack, but still found it odd that you could send a simple call or text. Upon arrival though, the technician had no idea he was supposed to do a full install and did not have any of the tools nor the parts. This didn't give me a lot of confidence but hey, as long as you can do the job I'll be happy.However, it became apparent that this person had never job a job like this and they had to call someone to try to get a sense of what to do. I had to provide the microwave manual so that he could follow the instructions. Um, that is exactly what I could have done...but I hired and paid you since you are the professionals. Additionally, they did not even know how to get a microwave down from it's mounts; I had to show him exactly what to do here. Not good. Anyways, after a long trip to get parts and hours later the job was finally done. I looked at the job and was curious as to why the external vent didn't have a damper on it to close off the outside air. His response was that's all the store had. Um....ok? Additionally, the ducting to the microwave wasn't even attached to it and they left around a two inch gap. Additionally, the caulking job was not done very well with big globs all over the place.All this resulted in huge amount of cold air pouring into my home on the two coldest days of the year. I had to pack the whole cabinet with towels and insulating to try to reduce the cold. I emailed the company the next day with pictures and called the gentlemen who initially provided the quote. He gave a I'll have to get back to you response and it's been 4 days now. I've emailed again and still no response. I'm pretty unhappy with the service provided and being left in the dark, especially for such a simple job as this. Posting here to try to get this resolved and to ensure that others absolutely make sure you get a technician that knows what they are doing. I went through Thumbtack and may have to try to get my money back if this can't get resolved and installed correctly.

Jake and his associate did a great job repairing my dryer vent that had been disconnected from the roof for quite some time. They also accomplished the seasonal furnace service. So my service with this company has varied greatly based on who was helping me. My ac hasn't been working properly most of spring. It works, just not well. So we called on a Saturday and after receiving a quote of $75 for the diagnosis, the fee is waived if you decide to have them do the work (they don't tell you that the fee actually becomes a service fee and changes to $65 if you have them do the work) well we booked our appointment for wednesday and sucked it up through the heat.Wednesday rolls around and our technician is even a few minutes early. He comes in, does his little thing with our furnace and tells us it's frozen and we have to run the ac on fan for a day prior to the appointment. So the technician rescheduled us for saturday and left. He might have been in the house for ten minutes, he never even went out back and looked at the unit. The only saving grace was that tech was nice enough not to charge us for coming in and saying he couldn't help. Saturday rolls around, we have an appointment window of 6pm to 8pm. We call them up at 7:45 and ask where our tech is. Apparently whoever made the appointment informed everyone, including our first technician that the appointment was for Saturday when in reality it was for sunday. Our confirmation emails even said saturday. Mind you its mid june, we haven't had any type of air conditioning for a straight week, our has has been in the 90s most of the week.They offered us a 5% discount for the error.Sunday finally rolls around, our technician again was right on time. He was a really nice guy and he's the reason this review gets more than no stars, he was here for about an hour. Diagnosed poor airflow and low refridgerant. One thing he informs us of is our unit itself is covered in cotton from a neighbors tree, and needs cleaned off. He informs us that they charge $280 to clean your ac unit and that the first guy should have told us this. So our tech says it'll take less than ten minutes to clean the unit and he disagrees with how they've treated us as well as the pricing, and cleans it without charge.The remainder of the appointment went smooth. Minus the final bill of $300 worth of refridgerant and service fees. Oh and the technician informed us that we would have received a 5% discount was for being a military family anyways. So in reality we got no discount for their errors.So takeaway here, is that some of their technicians are pretty decent guys. If they make scheduling errors you're SOL, and no one will take responsibility. Also. If they're coming to look at your ac. Turn it off for a day prior.Update: a few weeks after this review (like 4) the manager or owner, called and gave us a $50 dollar credit. I don't remember the details of the call but he tried. We haven't used it, not sure if we will.Update: we decided to use our credit. I can't give the details due to character limits on Google reviews. Just know that my husband was SUPER PISSED, and has vowed never to use this company again.

Cameron Keck was fantastic. He located a leak in our pipe in our slab foundation! Did a great job with the repair. Being a slab foundation we had no water supply shut off in the house. Only shut off was the main out by the sidewalk. He installed a shut off in our home and that gives me great peace of mind. Thanks Cameron!

This is a scam and be very carefully of making deposit. Very dishonest and unprofessional and won't return deposit after the contract is canceled and no work was done. We finally have to get our credit company to get our deposit back. If there is a choice I would vote zero star

Bruce was great. Not only did he show up on time, he was actually about 10 minutes early. He did a large amount of repairs on the shower and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. The pricing was also very fair. Overall great experience.

From the first phone call to the installation of our hot water heater has been outstanding. The respect at all aspects of the job.Matt was wonderful. He let us know when he was on his way. Matt’s work was outstanding. He started at 9:00 am and finished at 9:45. The work Matt did was excellent. Our furnace stopped working and we had someone form Affordable Plumbing and Heating come out. $75 for the visit. After inspecting the furnace for about 20 minutes, the tech said two of the fans were shot and needed replacing. Estimated about $1300 to fix, and gave alternative option of replacing furnace for $3500-$5500. We had another company (SoCo Heating and Cooling) come out for a second opinion. The tech from SoCo was able to get our furnace up and running within 15 minutes. He inspected the furnace and confirmed both fans/blowers were still working properly. He also cleaned a sensor, replaced a hose, tested the furnace for safety, and took the time to explain everything he found. (also he didn't charge us anything for all of this!!)The Affordable tech had left loose parts in our furnace and clearly had not attempted to fix anything. He either didn't have a clue was he was doing or was simply trying to scam us into buying a new furnace. I think the latter is more likely...One of my co-workers also had the exact same experience with Affordable Plumbing and heating... They said the exact same fans/blowers needed to be replaced and pushed her to replace her furnace. She found a different company who contradicted what Affordable Plumbing and heating said and fixed the furnace day 1...I do not recommend Affordable Plumbing and Heating... They cannot be trusted.

My in-laws just used Affordable Plumbing and Heat this past week for a couple of projects. First the positive, their technicians were friendly. Now the rest: $250 to spend 30 minutes replacing GFCI; then another $1320 to fix a leaking PRV and toilet flange. The kicker is, the technician over torqued and broke the lag bolt on the toilet, and made it my in-laws issue to pay for a new toilet—they felt like they were held hostage. Affordable Plumbing and Heat should be ashamed of themselves. Be aware. I would never recommend or use Affordable Plumbing and Heat.

This is for Mike and here's a big THANK YOU for graciously taking the 2nd call to our home in order to get our heater working properly and replacing the filter w/ the correct one to fit. After going w/o heat for four days and scheduling conflicts, Mike was able to have our appt moved up earlier than 8 pm to 10 pm and got everything in working order b4 going on his vacation. Thank you Mike and for being so courteous and apologetic.

June 2023I use this company for their electricity service the guy who came out side he had 20 years experience now i have to use my bathroom ceiling fan and light switch to run the other side of my home because of how he rigged it up my electricity was just fine until the other day when my side of town electricity had went out Than I started having problems so i contact this company Got charged $400 for this service even with the guy being unprepared for the job site very unprofessionalYes i have electricity but can't really say it's all proper professionally & safely hooked up considering to be able to have electricity on the other side of my home I have to run a bathroom ceiling fan Consistently..... that controls the rest of the power on the Opposite side of my home which I did not have to do before the electric went out over a Storm this service was $400 an to get the light fixed covered put back on would cost me $250 hr for 2 guys to come out I will try and upload the pictures on how this guy left My covers off and used Electrical tape to hold the outlet in place & didn't even Try to use screws to hold the outlet in place So i'm not surprised he didn't put the cover on that's that Extra 250hr

This is the second time that Kurt Saleny has been the tech at our home. He arrived punctually, did a quick survey of our multiple problems and then spent plenty of time addressing each one. He provided us with a resource to correct a problem that was not plumbing related. We highly recommend for any plumbing needs.

Affordable Plumbing & Heating was great to work with to help fix a drain blockage. Called the company and the person that answered was very friendly and helpful. Made our appt for the next day. The service technician was also very helpful, took time to explain the most likely problem we were having and had the drain open in about 1 hour. Highly recommend this company.

Not only are they not “affordable”, some of their technicians, while polite and nice, frankly do not know what they are doing. I had a backup sump pump installed incorrectly (the float was installed upside down) that I had to help the tech figure out how to correct. What should have taken one visit has led to multiple visits so if you value your time I would find another company. Also for that same visit I was scheduled from 10-11 am but didn’t see the tech until a fee hours later.

The technician was very good at his job. He took his time to locate the problem and fixed it in less than no time.

We called Affordable Plumbing and Heat about a possible hot water heater problem late Tuesday afternoon, they were here Wednesday morning to assess the situation and came back on Thursday to install the hot water heater only to find out that it wasn't the hot water heater after all but the AC drain hose had become unattached somehow!!!I think other plumbing services might have gone ahead and installed a new hot water heater. I am grateful for the honesty and integrity of your team. We are happy to do business with Affordable Plumbing and won't hesitate to recommend you to our friends. Thank you!!!

Kyle installed a new gas valve in our furnace because the old one was failing. He took the time needed to troubleshoot the problem, got the part we needed, and had it installed the same day. We've used this company a few times now I've always been very happy with their work.

Garbage disposal was not installed just some parts that was Placed like. Hoses etc no disposal still not working properly the cost was to expensive for a poor job not satisfied at all

Affordable came out and charged a diag fee and insisted that my unit needed a new compressor and needed to be replaced. They lied outright. It was only a contactor. Another company fixed it in minutes.Call the other hvac companies in town. They have quite the reputation. I’ve been told that they pay their techs exclusively ob commission and spend more time on sales training than technical training.This behavior is criminal fraud. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to prove. Since they can claim incompetence rather than fraud when it comes down to it.

Affordable Plumbing has been great to work with. They installed our new water heater the same day we called them out and today they saved us from a backed up drain! They came out within an hour on a Sunday and there were no hidden charges or emergency fees.Their techs are always friendly, on time and the price is right for the services. Highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you might be having!

Kendall called to say he was on his way prior to coming and arrived right on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable about starting up my cooler. He was honest and informative about what was needed to get it working and gave me information about replacing it in the future. I would recommend him and Affordable to my friends. I have also had Affordable replace my furnace and work on my sewer system and have been happy with all their work.

They were quick to respond after hours when our furnace wouldn't light. The gal answering the phone was very polite and Adam was kind and knowledgeable about his work! If services are ever needed, would recommend and ask for Adam.

The technician arrived early after calling ahead to get approval. Courteous and went right to work on my furnace. Diagnosed the problem quickly and located the replacement parts quickly enough. Part was an older model and took awhile to find and was a little bit more expensive than I’d hoped but it’s still worth the trouble and price.

We our long term customers of Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical. Matt and Nick came to our aid while they were visiting a neighbors house. I told them about the problem we had with a kitchen hand sprayer having a loose base that was stuck and could not be tightened it down. Matt said he and Nick would take a look and see what they could do. In less than 5 minutes all was fixed !!! We appreciate there help so much! Affordable Plumbing did an excellent job repairing a busted pipe in our basement. Rey was the plumber who did the work and he was very thorough and professional. Definitely use this company, and if you’re lucky enough to get Rey, even better.

This company is fantastic! They respond at no notice! Justin rushed to do a sewer line repair on a Saturday late afternoon while I was out of town. Rick provided me honest advice on options to mitigate my sewer line issues. I can’t say enough about this company. They ran into an on-site problem but stayed late until it was resolved. True value and they provide customer service that is second to none. Trusted!

The short is they are unreliable and overcharge. It started during the summer when my ac went out. We chose this company bc of their speed of booking an appointment. They gave us no instructions. When the repairmen came, he looked at it and without touching it, left saying he couldn't do anything because of Frost and I should have shut it off and cleared it. They said they were going to charge me for the repairmen. They took another week to setup another appointment. We paid for traveling, appointment, and the freon. My wife wrote a bad review and they generously called and offered a credit. My wife decided to use them again for an annual check up on plumbing. They gave a 2 hour window to be here so I took off work so then can come after the 2 hour mark. The guy checked the line and said it is perfect. They told me they would call me to set up my follow up. Next day I called them to set I up and apparently they already set it up for an hour from that moment. I had to speed home and prepare. He was 2 hours late to a timeline they gave me. He came and said he needs 3000 to dig in the front because of a root. I showed the video to my stepfather who owns a plumbing company. He said they are hustling me because they cannot give a guarantee that it wont grow back. Simply to do a $100 clean out every few months. Never again will I use this company. They are never on time, they over charge, and they suggest the unnecessary to help business like a bad mechanic you hear about. There are plenty of places to go to. This is not one. Any questions at all please find a way to email this review or something. I will not sugar coat it.

NO ETHICS UPDATE: They had their marketing flack call me to complain about this review. She whined and sobbed about the criticism, yet would not commit to letting me speak to a manager. She agreed that NO work was performed, and that they had provided three quotes for the WRONG WORK, but was adamant that her company deserved to keep my money.Affordable cheated my family out of hard earned money, plain and simple.SURPRISE CHARGES, WRONG DIAGNOSIS! After four years and thousands of dollars in plumbing and and HVAC projects with Affordable, we are forced to find a new company.The technician was on time and polite, but wrote three estimates for the wrong work and ultimately stuck us with a $164 charge for the visit. No work was performed, we were not warned of the charge, and we have never been charged for an estimate before. He went so far as to apologize for the charge, explaining that it was beyond his control and a surprise to him as well.When I called the office to discuss the charge, they refused to even acknowledge they had been paid. They could not answer simple questions about whether that charge would be applied to future project work, or if this was a new policy since the last time we had them in. Ultimately, the woman refused to transfer me to a manager, and nobody ever followed up with me. I have had to pursue a charge dispute with my bank to recover the surprise $164 charge.I called a small, local company who located the *actual* issue, which was very different from what Affordable had told us. We paid $175, where Affordable had quoted over $1000.

A very positive experience, from my first phone call at 7:30 AM until my furnace was installed the next day. This is definitely a well run company with quality products and awesome personnel. Thanks to the ladies on the phones who provided me with quick appointments and text messages and emails to keep me in the loop. Thanks to Roy, Eddie, and Jacob for all their expertise and hard work to get my house warm again. I will definitely be using this company when the need arises in the future.

Eddie Osborn, Project Manager, came out to diagnose why my sump pump was continuing to pump out water. He ran a sewer scope to find ground water back up in my foundation drain. He determined a more powerful sump pump was needed. He got the new pump and installed the next day. Very pleased with the response time and efficiency of the process

Clint, the technician, quickly and professionally diagnosed the issue and provided me with options for service. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, especially James, who came earlier than scheduled, was knowledgeable, and got everything done in the same day. He worked very hard to make sure everything was done correctly.

Had a full install new furnace, AC, and condenser coil. Jared came out to take pictures for the permit to be closed out and noticed a flaw with the install. He personally took an extra 4 hours out of his day to correct what could have been a dangerous issue. In my opinion went above and beyond. He has excellent customer service skills and it shows that he cares about quality. Thanks Jared.

In 12/2019 I had almost $2000 worth of repairs to my furnace. On 2/17/2020 my furnace quit working. I called affordable plumbing and heating again, the technician said a wire wasn’t hooked up correctly preventing the blower to quit working . I was still charged a $150 service fee for them to return to fix something the last tech failed to do correctly. The last tech that came to my house answered some of my questions with a grunt, but was very vocal when trying to sell me a maintenance service plan. This incompetent work and unfair charging is unacceptable, I will never use affordable plumbing and heat again, and I hope others will avoid them also.

Definitely not affordable . I'm not one to normally leave a review but this was ridiculous!It cost me 400$ to have my small ac unit cleaned for maybe 20 minutes, at most, plus an 85$ service fee/traveling fee ( the place is literally half a block from my home). I was then told my ac needed refrigerant which would be $180 a pound and that it could take 6-8 pounds to fill. PLUS a fee to see if I had a leak. These were just the minor fixes the tech recommended. So I paid 500 ... and still had no ac because I refused to pay a possible extra 1080$ on refrigerant for a 950 sq home.I ended up having another company come out 2 days later and they were very up front about what I actually needed... 2 pounds of refrigerant at 170$ for set up and one pound + 75$ for each additional pound. Way better prices! Plus they told me how many pounds were needed initially right after examining the unit... no maybes or guessing games.It's so hard to find trustworthy companies being a single mom and of course not knowing anything about this trade. I was extremely disappointed in discovering Affordables techs are commission based and felt as though I was taken advantage of big time with this service.Beware and don't waste your hard earned money on this companies service.

After Buying a home in the Springs and being new to the area, we needed help with a new furnace, we spoke to several HVAC companies and none were as knowlegeble and HONEST as Affordable. Everyone we interacted with and spoke to was very patient and professional and the work they did was perfect. Truly a blessing I highly recommend!

The technician was here promptly and seemed to work hard while here. He was unable to unclog our drain...Felt the pipe had deteriorated and the metal was clogging the pipe. His remedy was for us to spend $4500+ dollars tearing up our basement floor to replace the pipe...Said the insurance would reimburse us. This cost us $179. This was not an acceptable solution to us. We called our insurance and they said they would not pay, referred us to a different plumber...Bill's Plumbing. They came the next day and in half an hour had our pipe unclogged and charged us $110. We will definitely go with Bill's Plumbing next time!!

Jacob the technician was very kind and efficient. He came to look at our furnace as it was making a terrible rattling noise. He quickly figured out the issue and let us know our options. Really appreciate how he was on time and how great his customer service was.

Couldn't have asked for better service! They were able to get me in the same day I called to fix a leak under my kitchen sink. They gave me a two-hour window for their arrival but managed to come within the first half hour. Great communication too. They sent me a text prior to the plumber's arrival, along with his photo so I knew who to look for at the door. Great feature for a retired old lady. Will definitely call again!

Nicholas was the first to respond to review all the details. He was extremely nice and reviewed all my reported issues. He called in Sean to review the Water Heater issue which showed the problem with the water pressure valve. Sean was very nice and stated that if the valve is replaced, we should see that the other items may be resolved. Sean explained the information about the valve and then fixed it very quickly. Although it was pretty expensive (this part is typically very expensive in general), I felt this was the best course of action to prevent further damage. Sean also followed up with me the next day to be sure that everything was working okay and thanking me for being a customer. I will definitely will use Affordable Plumbing again for my future plumbing needs.

Roy came out to my dad's place today to give him a estimate for a new furnace. Roy gave me a courtesy phone call 15 minutes out from his arrival and came at the beginning of the two hour appointment window. He kind, prompt and very professional. Even thew my dogs ball for her a few time. 🐶🐶He gave us a fair estimate and we will be looking forward to using Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electric in the near future.

I am extremely happy with the service I received! I had 2 experiences about a week apart. I was happy enough with the 1st experience to request the 2nd. Jeff replaced our toilet. The process couldn't have been more easy. We didn't even have to go shopping. When a rare manufacturer flaw happened Jeff came back to fix it and was really great about it. My 2nd experience was today with Kurtis. He replaced our water heater and a couple of extra pieces. I am extremely impressed with his knowledge and helpfulness! It was a great learning experience as he explained things. He was awesome! Both Jeff and Kurtis were very professional. I'd never used this company before but I will use them again if I need help. They don't just do plumbing either. Great to know! Both Jeff and Kurtis are very committed to doing the best job they can do.

I set up an appointment for service between 10 and 12 on a Sunday. However, on the day the service was scheduled, the scheduler called me at approximately 8:30 and asked if the technician could come to my house early. I viewed this as a positive and agreed to the change. Once I agreed to the change, I recieved a text letting me know the technician was on his way and there was a picture of the technician.Once Nigel arrived, he explained what he was going to do, and explained that he didn't need any assistance from me. Once he was finished, he explained what he did, how the system operated, and what I needed to do to use it. I was impressed with his explanations as he worked.I would recommend Affordable to anyone and I will use them again.

The technicians who showed up were awesome only reason the company got three stars. Wife and I called to have some appliances/fixtures put up. We are both disabled veterans and have 30 ft ceilings. This work is too risky for us. The person who took the call assured us the techs would be able to instal the fixtures same day and the 30 ft ceilings wouldn’t be a problem. Good job to the techs however, the call center needs some work. Basically wasted time on both sides. Disappointing experience.

We had a furnace replaced back in November 2020 and we decided to add a central air unit to the house. Unfortunately, due to the weather at the time, they couldn’t complete the central air installation. Fast forward, today they were able to complete the installation and they sent Cory K to handle the job. Cory was very kind and patient especially when it came to answering our questions. Very informative, experienced and most of all, passionate for what he does. Awesome customer service! Thank you for making us feel good with the service you provided.

Came out quick and short notice! Super professional and they didn’t try to price gouge or anything like that. This is the second time using their services and will keep calling them for other issues in the future if needed!

Would not reccomend. Was promised job would be done quickly. It wasnt. They left a huge mess in the basement, mud and muck they blew out the line the wrong way, it took 3 hours for us to clean out almost 5 inchs of mess, they tore up the yard left huge mounds of dirt and ankle braking holes, ripped the grass up and didnt even bother to lay it back down. just piled everywhere and took 2 weeks for them to drop the water box into the ground properly and get them out to tap down the yard which again was done half a$$. Management did not care their employees did a poor job or that we called them out 3 times to fix what we asked for. Will never use again for any repairs. Way overpriced for quality of work delivered.

But considering the supply and demand in this town, I can see how they can make this claim.First experience was a few years back when I had personally replaced my water heater but found out I needed a permit & a technician to certify the installation. AP's quote: $300, just for the paper work. Didn't use their service.Second experience: Emergency call on the weekend. Almost $700 to stop a leak caused by a trim nail from prior owner; took the technician 2 tries since he cut the hose in the wrong place; left a huge hole on the wall while trying to search for the leak. Parts were probably $10, Davis Bacon hourly salary $100/hr (incl'd o/t), for 1hr job. You can probably figure out their overhead and profit.Lesson learned.On the bright side, they are very professional, friendly, and punctual.Note: this feedback is for the consumer, not this company. I'm not here to QC/QA this company's work by providing names, dates, and other specifics. These folks should have a supervisor overseeing the work at random times & job sites to check on the craftsmanship of work if they are going to charge 10x the cost of repair.

The electrician that was appointed my request, Thayne Murphy-Nichols, was absolutely, knowledgeable, kind, funny and fair. Him being an ambassador for this company is truly an asset. Outstanding service by tech; however, the charge to REPAIR an outdoor faucet was outrageous. Started with a $85 TRIP FEE (so quite an incentive to do the job since who knows if all plumbers are also PRICE GOUGING). Then you find out there is a $200/hr minimum charge (the tech was effucient and installed the repair kit in about 30 minutes). The repair kit for an outdoor faucet was quoted at $50.EXPERT SERVICE BUT I WILL REMEMBER THIS AND NEVER USE AFFORDABLE PLUMBING, HEAT AND ELECTRICAL AGAIN.

When Andreas the technician arrived, he proceeded to the wrong heating furnance. Before looking at the unit stated that the system was too old to even look at. Just replace the furnance.Couldn't tell the difference from a pressure regulator and a gas meter. He neglected to do any type of service, we could smell a gas leak and had to ask him to get his leak detector out to find the gas leak, that ended up being in a coupler. Then while on the roof, proceeded to ask for the payment, didn't want to go into the office, very unprofessional. I still haven't received the invoice. I would not recommend Andreas the technician. This service was over his head, he didn't understand this system, of which is why is stated to replace it. He was the wrong man for this job.

Mathew came in and was able to quickly identify the issue, suggested the most likely cause (which was right on the nose), gave me a quote, and took care of the issue with ease that could have only come from years of experience. I would recommend and reuse their services.

My experience with affordable Plumbing and Heating was excellent. Their bid was very competitive for a furnace and hot water replacement. The two technicians Adam and Rich, were extremely helpful. We encountered several unexpected issues in this hundred year old home. Without any hesitation whatsoever they went about solving these problems which took several extra hours at no additional charge to me. They worked until 11 p.m. that evening to finish the job. Wow !

I had to replace close to 50' of sewer drain in my 50 year old home. The cast iron piping had fallen apart and was causing issues with the basement slab. Plus the initial install back a half century ago was not done to spec. Ben Weiss was the absolute best! He worked with me and let me do the jackhammering of the concrete and excavation of the pipes that saved me thousands of dollars. His crew came and installed the new PVC pipe but the slopes weren't quite right. Ben (supervisor) came back the next day and spent 6+ hours getting all the pipes at 1/8-1/4/foot drop that they needed to be at. He made all the difference! I'm a big fan!

Back in November we had to use them for emergency services because we had a leak and it was already doing damage to our walls. I will give them a good word for their availability and quickness as they were one of the only companies of the few I called that were able to come out within a couple of hours in the middle of the night at a higher fee of course (which ended up being a very expensive call, over $550.00 later and I still had to go out the next day and replace my shower faucet myself. Our technician took awhile to fix our issue which was a stuck cassette, he also had to borrow some of my tools and accidently broke off our porcelain soap dish which is now sharp and not safe if someone were to somehow slip and nick themselves on it, I temporarily got it glued back but that didn't last long. We understand accidents happen and were called by the operations manager the next day to also apologize about the broken soap dish and offered the number and name of the Restoration One remodeling company they use to fix it at no cost to us which was great and we have contacted the contact he gave us and he said he would call back to set up a time to come take a look at it and we never heard back since, I have called again since and have not heard back from the operations manager nor the restoration company. So we will not be using their not so affordable services in the future.

Our water heater died and talk about stressful! We called a couple of other businesses that either did not not answer our call or placed me on hold for quite some time. A commercial for Affordable Plumbing came on so I called. They answered right away and set up a time to come out. Clint and Heith came to our home and both were very professional. The water heater is in and we are back to normal. We are very happy with their service.

Affordable Plumbing came to my house to clean the main sewer drain. During this process, their worker broke a tool in the drain. They are now demanding $5,000.00 from me to fix THEIR mistake. Not only this, but during the process of retrieving their tool, they've damaged newly laid sod and have broken my sprinkler system. I'm in the process of talking to a lawyer because they have not responded to any of my calls.UPDATE: The reply to my review is insincere. A manager contacted me from Affordable Plumbing, not to address the damage they caused to my property, nor to address the fact they they are charging me $5,000.00 because THEIR equipment broke. Rather, they replied to harass me about this poor review. They truly are a disreputable and dishonest business.

We called for a dripping faucet repair, but it turned out there were other issues that needed to be fixed as well. The guys were professional, and very easy to work with. The price was comparable to what plumbing costs these days. It was nice they were able to get it all done the same day. I'll always hire these guys for my plumbing work.

Kevin B was the technician who showed up today and he was AMAZING. He called prior to showing up and got here on time. He was quick with his job and didn't mess around with the job. He got in, got it done, cleaned up, and got on his way to the next job. He was kind, had a smile on his face, and he was professional. I didn't expect for the job to be done today. I thought it would be a job that someone would need to return for but Kevin got it all done very quickly. I'd certainly refer them to friends.

Words can't explain the professional and experience staff that we had experience, Matt was kind and very helpful not to mention well informed. When he made a mess that wasn't his fault he had offered to help my wife to clean it up. Matt said he would be here between 1-3 pm. But to our amazement he arrived at 11:00 we couldn't had asked for a better person.

Cameron from Affordable H&P was on time, professional, and took care of my sink in a timely manner. He asked if there was anything he could do for us while he was there, and took care of a faucet I had that needed attention. We’ve used Affordable several times, and appreciate their excellent work.

Affordable Plumbing re-plumbed my 30+ year old house this week and was thoroughly pleased with the work Jonas and is helper Lakye did. Both were professional, courteous, respectful, punctual and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness. I had been apprehensive about having this done, but once I met Jonas and learned of his years of experience and witnessed his great work ethic I felt at ease. They did a fantastic job in a rather unpleasant working environment.

Customer services was good but pricing was way too high. Parts on the market were around $52.00 and I was charge almost 17 times that amount.

Dean Olsen arrived on time and quickly got to work. He answered all my questions and knew his craft. He was honest and respectful and left the work area clean. I really like Affordable Plumbing over smaller companies because you can get an appointment quickly and the plumbers are great.

They sent Kyle out to fix my furnace, he was very professional and got the work done correctly! I am very happy with the service and the time frame in which he did the job. He also commented on the fact I had no carbon monoxide detectors and installed 2. Very happy with him.

We had an active leak suddenly appear in the ceiling of one of our rooms. Was able to get someone out quickly. The plumber who came out was Jeff and he was very diligent in cutting the ceiling and quickly found and fixed the leak.
I have no experience with the other plumbers, but ask for Jeff.

Gilbert did a fine job installing a new garbage disposal today. However, he failed to confirm if there was power in the disposal outlet. I told him there wasn't. I had followed all the steps to check the power under the sink. But I didn't know the wall switch had to beON when plugging into the outlet below. I guess Gilbert didn't know this either? I understand why I had to pay $75 trip fee for the electrician after the power was on. I would recommend that next time Gilbert is in a similar situation (customer reports no power) that he double check for power and only call for an electrician after its confirmed there is no power. From the initial call to the estimate/inspection down to the repair/installation employees/workers, they were all amazing!! Professional, friendly and very understanding of being in a position of having to replace more than one major appliance and how taxing and stressful it can be both financially as well as emotionally…especially in times like these. Hired affordable plumbing to install cleanouts and run a liner in the main sewer line of my house. They said it would be a 2 day process. On the first day Monday they didn't have the appropriate liner because of a transition even though I paid them to jet and scope the line prior when we found the issue. This added a day to the process causing me to have to move my hotel reservation. Tuesday(day2) they brought the correct liner and installed and removed a toilet inside the house to do so. Wednesday(day 3) they pulled the liner and reinstalled the toilet without caulking it. They said they might get to the backfilling the hole that night if not would be Thursday(day4). On Thursday(day 4) I heard nothing until 2pm when I received a call from the office saying they had to get it inspected which would happen Friday(day5) morning. Friday(day 5) I again hear nothing so at 2pm I call the office to find out what's going on. I get told they are looking into it and they will call me back. After 2hrs of no call back I call back to get passed to a manager who again says I have to look into it and will call back. After another 1.5hrs I call back to get passed to another manager who informs me that my project won't be getting done until Monday(day 8) because the city inspectors are now off and they can't get hold of anyone and that it will hopefully be early Monday. But he will pass my info to the GM and to expect a call Monday. So here I am on day 5 of a 2 day job hoping that it might get finished on day 8. I will update this as the job progresses.

Our furnace pilot went out and we could not get it back on to save our lives. We called the company and they sent a guy out within the hour at a lower price than the other companies we had called. Paul called ahead and was here before he's scheduled time which we really appreciated! He was super knowledgeable and helpful with our ancient furnace. Unfortunately due to the age of our stuff, he was unable to find the parts we needed. Instead, he helped us fix what he could and gave us our options for the future. We will definitely be working with Paul and this company again!

This company has a marketing department that checks the messages on here and follows up on any low ratings. This comment has been upgraded due to the follow up and attention it was given. The issue was not resolved in the end, but it was given diligent attention. The company has offered to do my air conditioning install for next year and the quote was much closer to what I expected. I would probably call the company back and give them another chance despite the initial contact experience.Called them up to install a sink and a filter under the sink. First they lost my appointment. When I called up and asked what happened, they finally find it for a different day with notes making mention of the original day. So they reschedule the appointment for much later, turning my day upsidedown as I reschedule appointments. When they get here, I am told that the filter isn't compatible for the sink and refrigerator. When I tell him it is the exact same filter as I had at my previous location, he then says that he can make it work. Then I got slammed with a quote for nearly $ 1000.00, and it was just some tubing and equipment that was already on-site that just needed installing. He wanted to use copper tubing (less flexible) and not use the vinyl tubing already in place because that won't work for some reason either, even though I said I could probably bring it over and make it work for him in advance. Quote still stays at close to $500.00, just to install a simple sink and filter already on-site for what I estimate would probably be about an hour of work. Absolutely ridiculous... Should change their name to 'Ridiculously Priced Plumbing'.

I recently had Affordable Plumbing and Heat to my house to fix a clogged sink drain. The technician came in and used a snake to clean out the line. Although the original individual I spoke to on the phone told me the service qualified for a rate of $149, the technician told me it was going to be $175. After a little discussion, he agreed to honor the rate I was told on the phone, which I appreciated. After cleaning the line, we ran some water down the drain and it seemed to be working at the time. My wife and I had been very busy that week and we didn't get around to using the kitchen sink until 2 days later. While rinsing dishes, before putting them in the dishwasher, the sink again started to back up. I called Affordable Plumbing and Heat to let them know that what they did didn't fix the problem. I got handed around several times to a project manager then someone higher up on the chain. While talking to both of these guys, I was informed that the technician had recommended that they water jet the line in order to completely finish the job. The technician never mentioned this to me, I would have remembered a discussion on an additional $199, nor was this additional service ever discussed as something they thought I would need to do when I first called them. They said that I should have known about this recommendation since it was on the invoice. Of course I didn't get a hardcopy invoice, but was sent one via email. I'm not clear as to how I was supposed to know about this additional recommended service through an invoice I received after the service was complete and the technician gone. Now they want the additional $199 in addition to the original $149 to clean out the line. They did offer to not recharge me $149 to re-clean out the line before they jetted it for $199 nor an additional $50 trip charge. They considered this as if they were doing me a favor not charging me to redo some work they did just 2 days prior that didn't fix the job. I guess I should have considered myself lucky to not repay for poor work. I am not complaining about the price since I haven't researched what other companies would charge and these maybe reasonable. My complaint is that these guys seem to operate much like many of the carpet cleaning services around town. They tell you one thing, then of course, when they get there it is going to cost much more. They told me that jetting a kitchen line is usually what they need to do to fix that problem. I just wish they would have been up front and told me this before I wrote the check for the initial cleaning. It is only fair to let the customer know at the start what the total cost could be to do a complete service so that the customer can make an informed choice as to who best to do the service and at what price. I've been a home owner for 30 years and would recommend almost all the companies I have had work on my houses, but I would not recommend this company. They are not interested in keeping a customer happy and their business practices leave much to be desired. This is a competitive market and there are way too many other companies that can provide this service, I recommend choosing one of them instead.

Jonas was our plumber today. He was courteous, kept us informed of his arrival time and was agreeable about wearing a mask as we requested. He was extremely pleasant and thoroughly explained all the work he was going to do and why and what needed to be done. He has fixed two leaking toilets and we are very grateful. As promised, I have deleted a previous very negative review.Having sold our home, we needed another sewer clean out, and inspection by a qualified plumbing company. Since Affordable Plumbing had given a 5 year warranty on the previous work, we contacted them, and asked if they would do the work. It was instant friendly professionalism, and they arrived pretty lickety split! Needed emergency service as heater failed during 20 degree weather. Affordable Plumbing/Heating came out at 10:30 pm, and got us up and heating.

Matt came to our house as scheduled during the two-hour window. He was friendly and determined to find the cause of our leaking kitchen sink. He gave the area a thorough investigation like a CSI detective for water intrusion! He was efficient and dedicated to the task, and a friendly person as well. This was a relatively minor incident but he gave it full attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Affordable again for other plumbing issues.

The techs did a great job the only concern I have is they did not get back to us in a timely fashion about our rescheduled appointment. Chad is very helpful and knowledgeable. We will continue to work with Affordable.

Awful! They are just trying to upsell you. Did NOT do the job correctly.Called them out to clean the sewer line. The plumber use the SMALLEST punch ever to poke a hole through very thin scraggly roots. Would not use the big blade or cutter. (This was not my first rodeo)Sent a guy out a few days later to do an “inspection” with a camera. We were able to see the extremely small hole the guy punched through the small hair like rootsIf we want them to ACTUALLY use the correct attachment for the job…well that’s another $400 and another visit!Save yourself, rent the machine from Home Depot. $80 it comes with all the attachments. Then you can use the actual blade attachment that will clear out the small roots. Which is what I will have to do this week to do the job they didn’t.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish and Jeff was a real jewel to work with. He has years of experience, excellent knowledge, and a great rapport with the customer. He was very patient and took the time to clarify issues and questions which I had.

I hired Affordable Plumbing to replace my sewer line. The cost was cheaper than lining it and less than a third of the cost that other companies were going to charge for the same job. Robert and his crew did a fantastic job. They were efficient, courteous and meticulous. It only took a day and a half to complete the job. They were careful to minimize damage to my tree and definitely went above my expectations for cleaning up the site. If you need your sewer replaced, I highly recommend them!

I will never use this company again. If I could give them zero stars I would and tell the whole city what a rip-off they are!!!!The gentleman that came out was polite and did the work required, however he was only asked to assess my situation and advice me on whether to file an insurance claim or not before too much work was done.He could have done that in a few minutes, and I understand he was, I think, trying to be helpful, and he wanted to get the toilet working for me, which wasn't necessary, I had other toilets to use. Thats all fine but that could have taken him only a few more minutes. Instead he saw an opportunity to scare me into spending more money. Instead of just placing the toilet, all of a sudden it needed a new water hose,, and then a section of pipe, which is not where it was leaking, and before you know it he had to put a new pressure regulator on because with the way it was my pipes were going to break and I would have a much bigger problem.$1325 later and snapping many pictures he should have just told me to file a claim.When I did go to file a claim I tried to get the pictures he had taken and uploaded to the office. I called the office several times, they rarely answered the phone and when I did get a hold of them they told me that they really didn't do any work out there and that they had no pictures. I told them $1325 definitely means they better have done something at my house. I asked for a receipt with a description of what they did do for that amount of money. More than a month later I haven't received a receipt or any pictures of the repairs that were needed or done. For $1325 I could have paid my deductible almost 3 times over but I spent that money on them with absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from the office and a tech that just wanted to alarm me and scare me into spending more money.This company is totally dishonest, beware if you use them. As a single woman I feel like they took advantage of my situation and used the scare tactics to make me spend more money. What started out as a couple of hundred dollars quickly escalated to over a thousand, and I still had to file a claim to properly get the situation fixed.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUPPORT CROOKS!!!!

My dental office had a leak and we called Affordable Plumbing. Even though they were super busy, they came out right away and found the leak. Above average cost for below average service and work. Replaced plumbing and they tore up yard and no effort made to put back yard, patio now caving in. Second and last experience with company the tech misdiagnosed something which in retrospect should have been obvious costing me $600 unnecessarily . Maybe the rep needed to make a sale

We’ve always had a great experience with this business. We have been using them for 6-years now. We have since replaced our hot water heater, our furnace and air conditioning unit. They are honest and knowledgeable.

I have used Affordable Plumbing and Heat in the past and have always been pleased with their work and their pricing. Most recently I had to have a heat/air unit installed and am more than satisfied with the work done by Brandon and John. They were very professional and did a very good job with the install. They were both very knowledgeable and were able to answer any and all questions completely. I'm very pleased with the work done and will again use this company if needed.

I usually do not leave reviews, but Affordable has gone above and beyond! We upgraded the whole system in our house replacing our old furnace with an efficient model and Central Air! Chuck Rucker has run point on our install(s) from day one. Working the kinks out of installing a 2017 system into a house from 1964. They even worked with us to expand the return and supply systems due to add-ons. We had a few rough patches getting everything to work due to the home layout, but every tech that has come to the house to tweak the A/C or install a component has been polite and timely. I highly recommend the company they stand by their warranty and make sure you as the customer is satisfied with what they do, they show pride in their work.

It was an overall very positive experience working with Affordable. Everything was straightforward and fast. John was a good tech and helped identify the issues and provide us with options. Adam and Chean worked fast to get our new unit installed in our cramped crawlspace and they were very nice explaining everything for us to get us up to speed on the new unit. I highly recommend using this company!

Late Tuesday night, my business partner discovered a very bad gas leak. She called Colorado Springs Utilities, and after an extensive search, the problem was located, but since there was no local gas cut-off, gas had to be cut off for the whole house. I called Affordable Plumbing at 8 am sharp, and they had a technician on hand by 10:30 am...he cleared his schedule, stayed most of the day, actually re-engineered the badly antiquated and faulty gas-line network to the furnace in the crawl space, fixed the entire problem, and cut off the sources of potential future problems. Their invoice was almost exactly what I expected it to be. The technician, Lee, was superior in his knowledge, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. I was impressed.

Had a bad experience with a driver ended up having them come out to look at a problem I have first time customer fee is wavied 85$ just to drive to us apparently he showed up opened up my cwlrawl space was down there for 2 minutes came up said I need to drain it befor I figure anything out, told me the drain was 300$ I said okay needed to talk to wife about price we were gonna have it done this weekend until he said okay the fee waived is only if you buy it right now, that was not relayed to me at all and after we paid him the 85$ he didn't say anything didn't put anything back just got in his truck and left. I will be using a different plummer from here on out.

Despite my 3 start I do recommend them, there were just a couple of things that I felt could have been better. Financing - very quick and acceptable rates through ally. My 50 year old furnace died and Lennox does not make replacement parts for that model anymore. So I decided it was time to go with a newer model. I went with what was suggested which is a 2 stage Rheem. Now I did not realize and to be fair did not ask/discuss the fact that it was going to be so noisy. Also to be fair they probably had no idea that my old one was so quiet so they did not bring up that the noise level was going to be higher. I did not know (by error in not researching) that a furnace replacement did not include the coil; and they did not mention it at the time of purchase. During installation there were 4 men here and it was after 2 left that they told me there was an extreme amount of build up (again 50 years old) on the coils so the air would be severely restricted. I asked if I needed to get a company to come clean it since they do not do that. They said a company might be able to. They didn't offer a solution to the problem. I'm still not sure if I need to buy a new one and have it installed or hire a vent cleaning company to work on it specifically. I guess I expected one of them to offer a solution and cost for that solution. This was an emergency (temperatures were forecast to fall) situation so there wasn't really opportunity to have the furnace down for an extended time. Therefore I did not do the right thing and research before purchasing and they didn't really provide answers to questions that would arise during and after installation. I expected 2 hours worth of work and when they got here they told me it would be 4; which was fine. Then of course they did not know (nor did I) that the room was built around the furnace after it was originally installed so it was a challenge getting the old one out. So I was ok with it going over 4 hours. At around hour #6 I was starting to get a little nervous. But understood codes have changed over the decades so they did need to bring several items up to code in order for it to pass inspection. Over all - Great workers, they kept me informed, got along with the dog (we always trust the dogs reaction), and they work straight through with no goofing off. Salesman was fine - could provide more options and/or information at the time of sale but I think he did right by me. We had one heck of a time setting up that smart thermostat. Took us over an hour and for the first 24 hours it would go offline every couple of hours and we would have to set it back up. May have been the wifi in the house or it was upgrading the firmware. Not really sure. Again - I do recommend these guys for any of your work. But I also suggest doing a little research and ask LOTS of questions. It turns out that the noise level of the furnace is normal; I just wasn't expecting it. Furnace works. Thermostat works. Now I just have to figure out that coil situation. Didn't get a lot of input from the installation crew. ***Adding this note after taking the time to research the whole A Coil situation. I am now aware that it is part of the A/C system not the heating system and that is probably why they did not offer a solution. I am going to leave it as 3 stars since they did not educate me on this as I stood there looking a them stupidly wondering why they were bringing me this problem without a solution. Hopefully this summer they will accept my invite to come back and replace the A/C system (they might not after this review). Ask lots of questions. That's my only advice.

Wow.. 85$ JUST TO COME OUT and THAN they give additional cost on site to just check the gas pressure. They couldn’t even let me know how much it would be to simply check the gas pressure. Save yourself the headache especially if you went through a house fire.

Our water valve in the basement leaking, I just happened to be there soon after it started. I called and Affordable and they were quick to get back to me. The technician was amazing. He walked he through everything he was doing and showed me what to look for in the in future. He was very patient and did a fantastic job.

Provided a window of between 1-3p. No show, no call. I get a call at 5p stating the technician is on the way and will be there in 30 minutes... Well, at 6p I get a call saying the tech will be there at 7:30p... or reschedule for 2 days from now... Ummm, no thank you. This is how you conduct business? This is how you respect your customer's time?

Want to thank Cory, Reaper, and John as well as the whole crew and company. From the meet with Ron for the estimate to instillation. I had a new furnace and new AC unit in one day! They are very knowledgeable, quick and efficient. They were fantastic, left no mess and treated my home as they would their own. Cory took the time to walk me thorough all the new equipment and how to use it as well as answering all of my questions.EDIT:I was so impressed with the company, I also had them install a new ceiling fan and replace some can lights. Back in the day, I called affordable plumbing and requested a quote on how much it would cost to have a water softener installed. The office informed me they would send a tech out to my house and give me a fee estimate for the work. The tech showed up and gave me a very high estimate and charged me $20.00 for the estimate. I called the office and complained and the owner never responded to my complaint. Unreal!!! I would never use them!!!

My 60 year old sewer line needed to be replaced. It was part cast iron, part clay pipe and not enough slope as well. I went with Affordable as they were able to drill my new sewer line versus digging up the old up. That saved digging up 2 sidewalks, a stucco wall, my driveway and a curb. Plus they did the math to put in a new tap into the main sewer line about 8 yards further downhill than my old tap to give me better slope. They had some problems with the driller but kept on the job which went on about 3 weeks instead of 3 days. They never disconnected my old sewer line until right at the final cutover so I was only without sewer service for about an hour. The 1st driller came in a little high, and instead of trying to make it work, they brought in a 2nd driller and put in a 2nd new sewer line and they came in perfectly. No one wants a project to be delayed like that, but I was pleased they stuck with it, did the job right, at no additional cost to me. Now I have a PVC sewer line that has a great slope inspected and approved by the city without tearing up my driveway, landscaping, sidewalks, curb, etc.

Issac Arellano and team installed Rheem A/C today and electrician will be back to get the unit turned on tomorrow.Worked with our existing electric panel (original to our home circa 1978) and very flexible on location of unit install so that we did not need to remove any landscaping.Very happy with Affordable Plumbing and Heating, they are responsive, offer great value, and have wonderful warranties that exceed the competition.Our Bryant furnace install last fall also earned an A+ 💯!

I do short term property management and a guest called for a clogged toilet. I called Affordable and they had a guy at the property in less than an hour! Willy was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue right away!

We had a backup in a drain line in the basement. Affordable came out and snaked the line, however, the line re-clogged as we have an older home. Frankie, came at the end of the work day to complete the work done earlier in the day by the first plumber. Frankie listened to our concerns that the first visit did not complete the work satisfactorily. After contacting a manager, Frankie proceeded to finish the job to our satisfaction at no additional charge.

We had a plumbing emergency and had no idea what to do. We called Affordable Plumbing & Heat and the young lady on the phone was extremely caring and sympathetic to the situation. She got Billy out in a flash. We were amazed at that as we were expecting it to be later in the day. Billy took his time in troubleshooting the issue and explaining to us in terms we could understand what the plausible issues were. He narrowed down the problem to a PRV. We decided to schedule the water heater replacement as well after Billy explained the issues that were with the current water heater. We did not feel pressured in an upsell and Billy was great. Very personable and we felt comfortable with him in our home to do what he needed to do. Amazing service all around and we know who when if we have plumbing issues come up in the future! A+

Not Affordable! Would not recommend the plumbing division of this company. I had a reverse osmosis system installed in November 2022 paid close to $7500. The employee did some questionable work on the install. Had this company come back out in May 2023 to fix the issue, but was charged $305 to repair an issue that should've been covered under warranty. Voiced my concerns to your company, but I never got a response.

Always prompt on arriving for their appointed times for service calls. They’re really good about answering all my questions and always make sure everything is explained and written out before anything is done. I highly recommend them over any other repair company.

My experience with APH has been positive over the last 10 or so years. They have consistently repaired both my furnace and plumbing problems to a high standard. If something additional came up during the job or if a problem continued they backed up their work and made sure all issues were thoroughly taken care of. They have been courteous and respectful. When delayed, they have always phoned to let me know the reason for the delay and their anticipated arrival. I appreciate a local business I can depend on for consistent service with a level of integrity it's hard to find nowadays.

Had an issue where my new HVAC system was running in reverse and my house was at 75 degrees for almost an entire day. Fred was able to come out in the middle of the night on short notice and fix our issue. Can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate Fred going above and beyond to assure my family was comfortable!

If I could give this company a negative rating I would.When my wife and I bought our house a few years ago, we had a leak at the curb stop. So we contacted Affordable at the urging of a couple neighbors.So that's what we did. While excavating their team of two guys ruptured the inflow water pipe. Admitted their mistake and guaranteed that we wouldn't have to pay for anything as, the work need to be done was at the curb stop and on Colorado Sprung Utilities and the ruptured pipe was their fault.After the work was done by Colorado Springs Utilities and the repair work was done by Affordable's team, it took them another month and a half and us having to pay over 4k to have them fill the whole in our front yard again. That was barely filled properly and destroyed a large part of our yard. For a job that we were told we would not be liable for.After that time Affordable's manager and owner's both came over and harassed us, and even threatened us if we continued to pursue it.I would rather throw gas on my house and light it on fire than ever trust this company with any plumbing or electrical need. They would probably break something else to charge us for.

Kurtis came to replace a hose bib that had split due to freezing over the winter. He arrived on time, already knew what the basic problem was, and he paid attention to my explanation of the issue. Kurtis took plenty of time to show me different repair options and their cost. He even explained how I could do the repair myself, but work done by a plumber with 20 years' experience was a much better investment. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and he explained about draining the pipe and not over-tightening the spigot. He worked with his supervisor to get me a price that was within my budget. Nothing affordable about this guys....they charge a $75 assessment fee just for coming out to look at the issue, the fee is waived if you accept their outrageous bid....so they basically back you into a corner to get you to take their overpriced bid, charged me $300 to solder a 12 inch piece of pipe with a coupler back into place. The technician they sent out was good, and took care of the issue, but it doesn’t change the fact that they are wildly overpriced, and not in any way affordable. I won’t be contacting them again for any of my plumbing needs.

We have had several plumbers Come to our home and they been good people however, this is the 1st time we use Affordable Plumbing. Jacob G was amazing and very very knowledgeable. I asked him questions about plumbing that had nothing to do with our service. He was polite and recommended us things we will be doing in the near future. I’m glad Affordable Plumbing was recommended to us.

Needing our water heater replaced, my wife remembered seeing advertisement for Affordable Plumbing & Heating on TV. Contacted them and was able to get a technician out to the house with 2 days. Which I thought was very good time line.Kurtis Saleny was the plumber technician that did the exchange of tanks. He was VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He cared and wanted the customer to be happy with the product and service that he and Affordable Plumbing & Heating was providing.

Old furnace, Philco, which I'd never buy again, was having problems inside and outside the house. Had some warranty work done earlier and then the outside handler failed. Eddy helped analyse repair vs. new and I'm very satisfied with result. No more surprises. They spent the time necessary with up to 4 people involved and finished the job in less than two days. Hauled all the junk away and cleaned the area. All the guys on the crew: Eddie, Jeff, Kyle and Coddey were great.

I called a little after 7 am Thursday morning and was told someone could come between 10 and 12. Brandon called me before 9:30 and was on his way. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and made sure everything was working perfectly. He fixed the shower problem and was kind enough to do a repair on the sink fixtures as well. I will call Affordable again when I need plumbing help. Thank you so much.

Used twice.. Super awesome! Super professional! This time, AC went out last night. Called next morning at 6am. Tech was out here by 1030-1100. Quote estimate over the phone was very close to what was expected to pay. Tech explained every detail and added the how to maintain air flow, proper use of my ceiling fans and cooling system and use my thermostat and app on my phone. Very Happy and not having to worry about the summer months coming up and using the AC.

Jeff arrived when promised, was professional in checking of our lines and was able to offer a few different solutions for our issue. Would definitely use this company again.

Great! Our furnace wouldn't light on the coldest morning in May! We called Affordable Plumbing and Heat and they were able to get a tech out to our home quickly. Kevin D. was friendly and got the job done before he was even scheduled to be here! I like that we get an email with our technician's name and photo, they always call when they are about 20 minutes out. We've been customers for years and they don't disappoint!

I used affordable heating and plumbing last year for a replacement water heater and again this year to repair some minor items around the house and both times the plumbers were very professional and reliable. I don't recall the first technician but Jeff came this time around and did great work. Thanks!

I am so thankful for this company. They have come to our house when my husband was deployed and during this pandemic. They take care of their customers and try to make it as affordable as possible. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. When they simply could have told us they needed to cut drywall and racked the price up, they were honest and found an alternate way to fix our pipe. We will use them every time we have a pluming issue!

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They installed a $20K system for our house about 2 years ago (New ducting, A/C, furnace) and the A/C unit already does not work and this company refused to come out to service our unit because we are out of their service area...but they INSTALLED the ENTIRE system. After multiple phone calls and being passed around the people they want to charge over $350 just to come to our house and that does not include diagnostics and labor fees. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE and has the WORST customer service. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware!

We just sold our home and the buyers were asking for a sewer camera and a sump pump to be installed. Chris Eckel came to do the job. He was on time, courteous and very professional. It took very little time for him to analyze what the camera showed and the installation of the sump pump was performed quickly and neatly. We used Affordable Plumbing again this past week to replace a valve box for a clothes washer. Mark did a great job. He was very knowledgable and professional.We had a problem with one of our toilets flushing properly. We called Affordable Plumbing and Heat and they were able to send someone out the next day. Kurt S. came and assessed and fixed the problem within an hour. Very straightforward and very honest.

Last week Chester came over to fix my air conditioner. Luckily I just needed a filter swapped. Chester took care of me and sold me on the service plan.I made an appt for a plumber this week and the service plan already paid for itself when my fairly complicated plumbing problem was resolved quickly and professionally by Billy. As you can tell by this wordy review I am a motor mouth and Billy was great, easy to chat with all the while keeping the repair work humming along. He explained everything he needed to do and I felt like he was being straight with me. He didn't push me to do anything and he gave me lots of options. He also cleaned up after himself. I tried to tip him because I was so happy but he refused and was very thankful for the offer.Because I am so ignorant about HVAC and plumbing I suppose I'm a fairly easy mark for shady repair people so I am so happy to say that Chester and Billy were patient in explaining the details and ultimately costs of the repairs and I feel SO glad because I didn't feel taken advantage of. As a result I am sticking with Affordable Plumbing and Heat and will be recommending them to anyone who asks.This is good advice: sign up for the service plan. So thankful!

Kelton exceeded my expectations. He surveyed the drainage piping that was plugged and offered options. He worked efficiently and quickly to address all possible plugged areas. He cleared a lot gunk from my piping. Most impressed.

The job we asked them to do went as expected for the most part... We had root issues and they cleaned out the roots, but hit a hard stop.Their immediate next solution was to spend at least $5,000 (up to over 10,000) to install a new cleanout and run a hydro jet through it (or replace the entire line)We found a much cheaper solution where this was not needed.The workers were nice and explained everything appropriately... but the solution was a lot more simple than what they tried to offer us.

All my plumbing backed up late in the day.Affordable made the extreme effort to still get here and not be after hours Justin got here quickly and worked diligently and politely and had my water flowing and going again asap.I have used Affordable before and haven't been disappointed yet.This is my second experience with them. This time I had to threaten to change my review and call the BBB to get the video I paid for. Then they straightened up and gave me good service and a discount and good service. FLEX YOUR RIGHTS.

Called for furnace diagnostic and was quoted $75. The gentleman Dillion concludes that my gas valve needed to be replaced. He quoted me $611 and that he needed to go get the part. I looked online and found the part for under $100 and felt confident doing the repair myself. I called the company not even 5 minuted from him leaving to cancel the request. Over the phone Tom said no problem it will just be $75 for the diagnostic. I agreed to that payment. When the tech returned he said it was now $150 for the diagnostic, in which I told him what I was told. I get on the phone with Tom and he says: I was thinking about it, and I'm charging double for our time because we left to go get the part. I advised I called literally five minutes after he left and felt charging me double was absurd. He said ok I'll lower it to $120. Still felt that the original quote of $75 was more than fair, considering all the tech did was wait on hold for Lennox support, and that was all I was going to pay. He then tells me that's fine, I'll just send the rest to collections!!! Which is ridiculous. Tom was incredibly rude and I will not be recommending this company to any of my friends or clients.

I had them out in Oct 2019 to investigate a potential gas leak. There was a natural gas smell coming from below the stove top. I was told there would be a $75 charge for the technician to come out. Then that $75 fee would be applied toward any repair work that needed to be done and I would be able to approve any such work prior. The technician came out. No leak was found. No repair work was done. I then was told the bill was $225. I complained up the chain to no avail and eventually paid the $225. I recommend not using this company. If you do choose them, be sure to get the estimate and terms in writing.

The 2 technicians, Brandon and John did an excellent job installing our high efficiency furnace. They were very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining everything. They did a very good job on the cleanup. They both are an asset to Affordable Plumbing and I will ask for them in the future. Also, I want to thank Calib for working with us and his suggestions.

We called Affordable Plumbing when we believed we had a hot water heater issue. Kaylene was friendly and empathetic with our situation. They sent a technician out within an hour. Upon arrival, Frankie was professional, knowledgeable, and diagnosed our problem quickly. It ended up being a main line issue, not a hot water heater. Frankie was quick to clean the line and run a camera though our system. He encouraged us to watch the process so he could explain exactly what was happening. He even went above and beyond and helped clean up the shower where the water had backed up! Frankie helped arrange for a crew to come repair the issue quickly.When the dig crew, Scott and John arrived, they were friendly and skilled at their job. They answered all questions throughout the process with professionalism and patience. We felt very confident in allowing them to dig up a portion of our yard near a window well. The job was done quickly and the landscaping was returned to normal.Thanks to everyone involved! We will call on you again!

They were very nice and the guy who came out to our house was very thorough to make sure the problem got fixed in a timely manner I would definitely recommend them.

I called this company about an after hours issue with my water heater. The Service Manager that I spoke with was extremely helpful and pleasant. He talked me through a temporary fix over the phone, and we made an appointment for the next day at 1pm. That next day, I made sure to be at the location of service 30 minutes early. After waiting two and a half hours for the technician to arrive, I received an email that my appointment had been rescheduled for the next day. I immediately called the office to be told that the technician had been by hours before the scheduled appointment, and that no one was there (because that was not when our appointment was for), and they left. They also claimed to have tried calling me, but I had no record of a missed call or a voicemail. When I told them that this was going to ruin my schedule for now a second day, the receptionist - Brie - began to argue with me about her claim that my phone was disconnected (it was not) and that it was my fault that I was not there in the morning when my appointment was not until 1pm. Do not do business with this company unless you enjoy getting spoken to with an accusatory and condescending tone by someone who is blaming you for their incompetence and ineptitude. When associates ask me if I know of a good plumbing/HVAC company, I will never fail to tell them who NOT to call. I sit on the board of an HOA for a 89 unit community, and I will make sure none of our business will ever go to Affordable.

On Nov. 10th, Tech came out to clean and service my water heater. Service cost $175.00. Prior to him leaving he advised me everything was good to go. Water heater is approx. 5 years old. 24 hours later, the water heater stops working and we have no hot water. I called them and advised them of the problem. They said that they would come out at 800 am on Nov. 12th. Whole family had to take ice cold showers while waiting for service. Tech showed up over 2 hours late. He got the water heater working and we were told everything was good to go. 24 hours later, water heater stops working again. I called them as soon as I got home.from work. They told me that they would come out to start the heater for $200.00 dollars. There website says satisfaction guaranteed. That is an absolute lie. Never use this business. I will be going back to Wire Nut or Wright plumbing and heating.

Jeremy did an excellent job replacing my backyard spigot. He was very professional, detailed and completed the work fast. He was also kind enough to give me some advice on how to fix my garbage disposal issue. Very satisfied with the service and will do buisness again in the future.

Had a new plumbing installed they did a great job

Called Affordable plumbing to come help with frozen pipes in cripple creek.Charged an initial 330 service call fee. Plumber Jeff got out there. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. Stated several times didn't have proper equipment...keep calling his supervisor because he didn't know what to do. 6 hours later...nothing accomplished at all then handed us an 1100 bill.Had to call out 3 other plumbers. The last one figured it out in 20 minutes. Other plumbers in between didn't charge because they couldn't fix.Called in to Affordable Plumbing...manager Lance said too bad but offered a ten percent discount. Went to owner who offered 20 percent off.Boasted how well he treats Veterans....but gave my husband who was a veteran such disrespect. We were WILLING to pay the initial trip charge. But paying $800 additional because Jeff wasn't qualified is ridiculous. WILL be contacting the BBB. I recommend ALL Veterans to STAY AWAY unless you want your pocketbook raped by unprofessional practices

The plumber was arriving late due to his last job, but, they kept me advised on his status. I did so appreciate the fact that they didn’t take my availability for granted. His workmanship was very professional.Will use them and recommend them in the future.

I recently needed to have my washer inlet valves replaced, the old ones were unusable due to damage. I called Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical and was able to get a next day appointment to get this work completed, so far not bad. While on the phone, I was informed that a trip out would cost $75 but if I elected to use their service that would be waived, fine.I agreed to the terms and the next morning the plumber arrived. Initially, the plumber began to go to work immediately, I had to stop him and ask him for the estimate for the work. He told me the work would run $168 per hour and he estimated 1 hour of work. I approved the work and thought the estimate sounded reasonable. What happened next was that the plumber needed to open up a large hole in the wall to expose the pipes, perhaps this was also fine but there was no repair offered, I just have a hole there now, this is not fine.When the plumber finally finished OVER THREE HOURS LATER I was able to see that the work had been completed and the pipes were not leaking but the previously finished wall now has a large (~18 inch tall x 12 inch wide hole) that I just have to pay someone else to fix, or, just live with it. This does not sit right with me. Next, I was very shocked when the plumber tabulated all of the costs and showed me the final bill, $730.00! Are you serious? For a job that you said would take 1 hour? For the replacement of two inlet water valves? After you butchered my wall? This job should have costed 1/3 the price and my wall should not have been left in this condition. I paid, I did not want to give the plumber grief and thought I would deal with management. Well, read on.This same day after dwelling in thought about my dissatisfaction over this job, how it left my house, and the huge cost, I decided I was going to call and speak with someone in management. I called and spoke with the receptionist. I was politely informed that all of the managers were busy but they would get back to me within 48 hours, usually in less than 24 hours. Well, at this moment the 48 hour mark has come and gone and I have not yet heard back. I will be attempting to once again call to speak with some member of management following my posting of this review.I would give this company negative stars if it was possible. I will be leaving a complaint on the BBB next. I will do all that I can to ensure that other people are informed of the predatory and unfair business practices that this company uses.Update1: After searching the BBB Web site, this company is not listed. I will be doing more research next time, this company will never get another dime from me.Update2: I was able to speak to the manager this evening. The manager was sympathetic about the cost but will not refund me any money. He has volunteered to fix the hole in the drywall that was made during the process.If you elect to use this company, ensure that you understand their billing. The trip to your house will cost you $75. Any work such as disassembly etc. will cost you $175/hr. This is just for diagnostic purposes, not replacement/repair. If you elect to proceed with the job there is a flat rate fee for any given thing. In my case, the replacement of the washer box is a flat fee of $730 and the customer is responsible for the drywall repair. last, make sure that this is told to you BEFORE the repair. I was not informed about this enormous cost until AFTER it was all completed. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Affordable Plumbing regarding fixing our water pressure problems. They were able to respond the same day I call since I was concern about damage to the plumbing fixtures in the house because of high water pressure. They arrived at the time they said they would, diagnosed the problem and completed the repairs in a timely manner. The service representative was polite and knowledgeable. Result was problem fixed!

Called on a Wednesday to make an appointment to have waste line cleaned/inspected and it was scheduled for the upcoming Friday between 2-4. Took off work for afternoon so I could make the appointment time. Called a few minutes prior to 4, and was told I was not on the schedule and they did apologize and offered to reschedule. I asked for the rate to be dropped since I already took off work for the afternoon, and they said the best they could do was 5% off the price which would have only been $7.50. I took 5 hours off work -- and was offered $7.50 off because they didn't schedule the appointment that was made. The only reason it was not one star is because they installed a sump pump a few years ago for me and that went fine, but this time there was a complete disregard for the customer.

They came out to evaluate an issue with my water heater. They determined that I needed to replace the pressure regulator. I was given a written estimate for over $900. I googled the part and found that it was only $120-$150. I asked why the installation was over $900; the technician could not provide a reason. I subsequently found another firm to perform the same job for $300.

Affordable, plumbing, and heat may turn out to be the company I use for the next 20 years since my original company went under and were bought by a horrible conglomerate. Plummer was professional, courteous and took care of business, cleaned up after themselves and it was Affordable,. I’m gonna call them again if I need any kind of repairs I may even shoot at the electrical next time. Excellent company excellent employees can’t be happier.

Well not so affordable. I showed them where the leak was very specifically. I knew that I didn't have the tool to reach in. The plumber tightened a nut and charged $175. Boasted all the time about what a great plumber he was. Pleasant person though.

I have used Affordable many times. From large jobs like new furnace and all new ducting to small jobs because I couldn’t get the water heater lit. Service is the same “GREAT”. Great service and don’t try to screw you over for more money. If you don’t need it they tell you. Very fair prices with nothing hidden.

The word Affordable used in the name of this business is a joke - the company charges $300 per hour for labor to replace wall faucet, aka hose bib for garden hose. Attempted to negotiate the labor price down - they became rude and aggressive. Definitely, would not recommend - they are greedy and unprofessional.

We use Affordable Plumbing when we have plumbing issues for our residence as wellas for our rental property. Dean was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful when we had an issue with leaking under our sink. He worked nonstop to fix the problem and also offered advice for other plumbing problems that I pointed out to him. We will use Affordable in the near future to fix those problems also.The friendly office personnel also make setting up appointments easy by promptly answering the phone or emails.

Tech which arrived as agreed. Placed shoe covers on. Kind and professional. Did basic evaluation and made repairs promptly. Excellent service.

We had a pipe burst over the weekend. APHE was able to get us scheduled for later that day. Matt arrived early and got right to it. After determining the issues, he was able to explain it to us in basic terms. He explained where the issue was, what it would take to fix it, and how much it would be. The pricing was very reasonable, and Matt got the work done quickly.

UPDATE: Justin and Chris installed the humidification system today and we could not be happier with the results. Justin (HVAC) and Chris (Electrician) made the installation of the system look easy and Justin even helped me install the new thermostat to control our system. Great job!!!Was able to schedule an appointment for a HVAC inspection prior to winter and to request an estimate for a whole home humidifier. Justin gave our HVAC a clean bill of health, answered all of my questions about our new home, and provided an estimate for the humidifier. This was the first business in C Springs that I've dealt with recently that answered the phone, set up the visit in less than a week, and sent over a highly qualified technician to perform the work. Great experience!!!

UPDATE July 22, 2020I was having a problem again with my AC. This time I called another HVAC business. And boy, was I glad that I did. The new company checked my system and all I needed was a minor repair. This experience was so much better than my previous experience with Affordable. As soon as the repairman from Affordable walked in, right away he was hard selling a whole new system. He kept pitching this hard the whole time that he was here. Before when I first reviewed Affordable I didn’t have anything to compare with them. Now I do and I do not recommend Affordable.***************************************************************************I called Affordable Plumbing on a Tuesday and was able to set up an appointment for Wednesday. I had two problems, I needed a plumbing professional and an HVAC professional. To my surprise, and delight, the HVAC professional came to my home the same day that I called. The technician called ahead to make sure that it was okay for him to come at an earlier time. When he arrived, he appeared professional and tidy. He explained everything that needed to be done and gave me options along with the prices. The other issue, the plumbing, was scheduled for Friday. Once again, I am happy to report, the technician was a little early. To my way of thinking that is always a good thing. The plumbing professional was helpful with his explanation. He was able to complete the job sooner than I expected. Since I was nearly out of water, this was wonderful. I did not price shop so I cannot speak to the cost relative to other businesses. However, I feel that I received good value for the repairs completed.

Brandon was very professional. Called to confirm appt and even arrived 10 minutes early after verifying with me that was ok. Found the leak in a reasonable amount of time and gave me all the options on how it could be repaired. Very knowledgeable and would definitely use again as well as recommend.

Dan Scandura came to service our a/c and see why it was freezing up. We needed 2lbs of freon which we didn't expect and it was expensive. He gave us a bit of a break on the labor costs which we greatly appreciate. He got our unit working great and all cleaned up. He was very friendly and courteous. Please thank Dan for his great customer service and great work. We will definitely be using your company in the future.

Be aware of this company policy. They charge $150 only to show up at your house. Technician wasn’t able to find the pipe where the bad smell was coming from. More over he gave us misleading information about cause of the problem pointing to the wrong pipe. He offered to fix good working pipe for $2000 stating it needs a p-trap. Later he sent us invoice for $950. Manager came up the other day and didn’t admit their false either. No money back. Not even a credit on account.

Affordable plumbing has hired good techs and they always do the right thing for their customers. I have used affordable for 7 years and will continue to use them. I trust them to always do the right thing. Trust is an absolute must for me.

Had my hot water heater gas valve replaced. Great service. The tech, Jeff L. was very professional and was so helpful in explaining the why behind the various parts. Also truly was very affordable. The cost was half the price I'd received from another company as a quote. Was scheduled for arrival anywhere from 10-1, but was able to come sooner at 9. Absolutely would recommend using this company again.My spouse is gone for work currently so having someone come to my home to resolve an issue that I have no idea about, I felt comfortable in and not like I was being taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge on fixing the situation. Really aappreciative.

I have dealt with several plumbing companies in Colorado Springs and Affordable Plumbing & Heat sets the standard! Kurtis S. was the plumber who arrived and I was amazed at his professionalism. He went above and beyond my expectations. The work was accomplished in a timely manner and he took the time to explain what was going to be done. Their rates truly are affordable! Communication leading up to the appointment was very good. Technician was polite and professional. Company uses set prices so if your job is an easy one, like ours, you may be left feeling you paid a little more than is necessary. Get quotes from different companies to compare.

Edit 2: Oh my lord, going back to 1 star. When they raised my furnace and AC to fix their terrible job, they ripped off my refrigerant suction line insulator and didn’t even bother to replace it. You can see it frosting in the photos and where they ripped it off.Edit: at first I gave 1 star, now I’m changing it to 4. They called and said they couldn’t make it the day they were scheduled to come out. They came the next day, though. They did the re-install at no charge. Still miffed about the initial bad install and last minute cancellation, but I am glad they owned up to it and did it correctly the second time around. Hopefully my AC no longer freezes over and there’s no lasting damage.Had them replace my 20 year-old furnace with a new Rheem 2-stage furnace. Turns out they didn’t even wire it to use both stages and they sold me on the fact that raising the furnace would “have better airflow.” Well they made the air return WAY smaller (it’s like 4 times smaller than the filter!!!) than it needs to be. Causes my AC to completely freeze over in under an hour. Didn’t notice this problem until I had a technician from a different company come out. And now because of the restricted air flow and freeze-overs, there are leaks in my ducting caused by the increased air pressure. They tried to suggest “fixes” instead of just owning up to their negligence and offering to re-install everything correctly and repairing the damage. When their technician left my house, they said they would give me a call to schedule something within the week. Didn’t get any call from them. Had to call them myself on Friday and lo-and-behold they couldn’t schedule anything until Tuesday because the supervisor and technician are out of town and won’t be back until Friday. Paid $7,000 for a professionally licensed job. Instead I got some idiots that don’t know HVAC 101.I’m retired US Air Force and US Space Force and this is how companies take care of Veterans? So frustrating.

We had several of our drains backup after one of our kids flushed a bunch of paper towels down the toilet. Ed from Affordable Plumbing was at our house within 20 minutes and had the issue fixed in another 15 minutes! Before the service he clearly explained what he was going to try to do to resolve our issue as well as the costs associated with each option.

This is absolutely the WORST business I have ever encountered. My husband called on a Saturday night after we discovered a small leak in our hose connection on our water heater. The individual he spoke to was awesome - he guided us through the process of shutting the water off to halt the leakage and made an appointment for the following day for between 1pm and 4pm. We were out in the morning, until about 12:30pm and remained home from 12:30pm to 3 pm when we received an email letting us know they had rescheduled the appointment for the following day. We called to clarify and were told a technician came by in the morning, found no one at home and supposedly called - Brie, the receptionist claimed the number they called (the same one we were calling from) had been disconnected. She offered ZERO apologies and explained that if we had provided them with a working number, we wouldn't have had a problem. Wow, Brie, you can't even take ownership of your company's mistake? We did provide a working phone number and we were at the residence before our appointment. Our day, our time and our patience was completely wasted and if that is an experience you want to avoid, then be sure to avoid Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical. Honestly, I totally understand mistakes and if Brie had enough customer service skills to just own the mistake, I would never have considered leaving this review.

Called late in the evening after another plumbing company did not come out in there time window for an emergency plumbing situation. As soon as I called, they reached out to their on call plumber which arrived quickly, repaired the issue without any problems and was very respectful and professional. Thank you Kurt for the great work. If I need anymore plumbing work I will definitely think of this company first.

Needed a hose bib and valve seal replaced (outdoor spigot). They charged my wife $407 for this. I was thinking it should only be around $150 for a full replacement so I called around. Everyone else said that it would be $125. Called Affordable to ask why so much and got told a manager would call me back. The technician at my house called me back. The explanation I was given was that it was too old to warranty so they had to replace the hose bib and spigot (which I knew). I told them I knew this and it should be no more than $150. He replied that their company does a flat rate regardless if the job goes well or if it goes bad. Meaning they're 3 times the price of anyone else to cover any losses from other jobs that have gone bad! Total rip off!!!!

My furnace stopped working late at night. AP&H was able to have a technician at my house earlier in the morning the next day (which was on a Saturday)The technician figured out the problem quickly. Gave me what the costs would be - which was very reasonable - and fixed the problem in very little time.I highly recommend this company for any heating emergencies you may have. I will be going back to them the next time I have routine service/maintenance done on my furnace.

Adam and Geronimo came to install a new 6-in vent out duct over the ceiling in our kitchen. They are professional, friendly, and polite. They took care of our concerns and made us feel comfortable. The new duct was installed perfectly and in very nice and good looking shape. They cleaned up the job site and wiped it clean. We are extremely happy with the work. Mostly importantly, the total cost is lower than the other two bids that we received. We highly recommend them and the firm. We will give them 5 plus stars. They are the best.

My Service was not listed as I contracted for a new furnace, air conditioner and electric stove to gas service. I had a total of 3 qualified technicians and was happy with the trio. We had a leak under the master shower. They sent someone to come fix it; he did a repair job that was concerning at first. After calling it in they sent their top dog...He made it right and didn't tack on extra expenses or unnecessary costs. They really were affordable! I loved their attitudes and they did a great job! I have used Affordable Plumbing & Heat for years now after a bad experience with another company. They have always been professional and friendly. Recently they rushed a furnace replacement after my 20 year old furnace started have major problems. Adam and his crew were able to get me heat the same day and finished the other components I ordered, AC and Humidify soon after, and Adam was helpful going over my new Ecobee thermostat and phone app. No reason to go elsewhere. Affordable Plumbing & Heat of Colorado Springs did a very good job installing our new furnace. Technicians Casey & Justin removed the existing circa 1958 furnace & put in a brand new high efficiency model.This involved revising original vents to meet current standards; they implemented an efficient, up-to-code replacement plan that is not an eyesore to our patio area. The install was a challenge, which they & their manager, Eddie, completed in a professional & knowledgeable manner throughout the 10 hours of work involved. We also appreciated that they all wore face masks, as did we! Great job & thank you everyone at Affordable Plumbing & Heat!

Cannot say enough great things about Affordable Heat and Plumbing - especially about their staff. From my first call to firing up my new water heater, everyone was kind, timely, and thorough. I had Gage and Derek out to my home and both were professional, patient, careful (with a hot mess express of a water heater situation, I might add…), and really took the time to make sure things were done right. While I hope to not have a need for their service again anytime soon, I would certainly choose AHP for future needs.

I called APH because while they are definitely NOT the most affordable, they have a great reputation and have done business here for a long time. I'm selling my house and needed a small leak under my kitchen sink fixed. What I thought would be a quick fix, turned into me having to replace the entire faucet. Unfortunately, they only warranty their work if you install one of their faucets, so I ended up getting a MOEN for what would appear to be double what I could buy it for. Anyway, I still give them 5 stars solely because of Jonas H., the plumber sent to fix the leak. He called me before he came, and showed up in the 2-hour window allotted for the service. He explained that while not cheap, I should get warranties labor and product, so the new owner of my house would have recourse if something failed in a year, and I agreed with him. Even though it was in the evening, he took the time to drive across town and get the faucet I needed, even though it extended his work day, it saved me from a reschedule. Once he returned with the part, he installed it efficiently and with no issues, fixing the leak. Additionally, he verified water connections that were mentioned in the house inspection report, but not checked by inspector. He verified zero issues, which gave me peace of mind and will give the buyer assurance that there are no issues with water pipes in the house. He did it at no extra cost to me, even though it extended his work day. Jonas is a true professional and is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I will end by saying you get what you pay for, and sometimes excellent customer service from professionals like Jonas offsets cost. Thanks, Jonas!

I work with True North Restoration. We had Jeff come out to estimate replumbing a large water loss we had. He was awesome! He listened to the customer, was able to easily solve problems, and was very friendly. I highly recommend using these folks.

I used this company to repair my AC. The employee was polite and said my furnace was the main issue & needed to be replaced. Once I said I have a home warranty and the company needed to approve it, the employee no longer appeared interested in helping. My home warranty has reached out to the company multiple times & requested an itemized list for costs to replace the furnace and company has not sent them one. It is very obvious this company will not work with home warranty companies to get things fixed. Go elsewhere if you plan on using a home warranty for your repairs.

Great kid Dakota who helped me but I will never use this company again! Their rates are much too high for simple jobs. Please shop around. I called them over the years but no longer. A simple toilet problem cost me over $300. They wanted to charge me over $200 per drain for another simple job. Don't ever use this company ever!!!

Affordable Heating Plumbing took care of us and they have great Rheem equipment. They are able to handle ALL the HVAC, plumbing and Electrical work IN HOUSE so you are not needing 2-3 contractors. THEIR PRICE BEAT 4 out of the 6 bids we got and was pretty even with the other bid who would have needed an Electrician .... And they have some GREAT payment plans if you need. Ask for Aaron, he has a ton of integrity as did EVERY tradesmen that came into our home to the work. I cannot speak highly enough of this group of guys who take A LOT of pride in their work and made sure it worked right, looked great and to leave the work areas cleaner then when they started.UPDATE: two years later and they STILL stand behind their work and equipment without a hesitation or hold back. Needed a thermostat checked and they jumped right on it!!! SAME DAY!!! Amazing Service. AND they took care of my Mother in laws blown water heater the next day expedited.

We paid a 50% deposit to have our main water line fixed, then found another company to do our repair because we felt uncomfortable paying a company $3250 to dig up our yard and possibly have to pay more if it was on the city's side of the valve. The company had our money for THREE HOURS, and they insisted on a 5% cancellation fee. Again, nobody came to our property ; all we had was an invoice emailed to us and a couple of phone calls. Meanwhile three other companies came out the same day to do an estimate--no charge. When we cancelled and I questioned the fee, I was curtly and emphatically told they could charge us $1500, but they were being helpful. At that point, I didn't press the matter in case they did decide to keep the $1500. Yes, they offered prompt repair, but the cancellation fee left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have two years of experience with Affordable Plumbing and Heating. This year I bought a water heater commercial grade. Billy was my technician. He is a artist at what he does, quick, simple and very detailed about my understanding. He was very kind to my kids. Quality work, no fooling around, no dirty work, no fingers crossed. I now have a new furnace and water heater top notch and upto code. Looks fancy. I highly recommend this company and I hope you get Billy.

I recommend Affordable plumbing, they sent Kurtis to our home quickly after service was requested. Kurtis was incredibly sincere and patient in explaining the issues found with our outdoor hose bib and our ice maker supply line leak. My experience was positive enough that I will be calling their company for an HVAC tech come out and clean our boiler as well!

Our transformer for our in-floor heat went out, so I called Affordable Plumbing, Heat, and Electric to see if they could come out the same day to fix or replace it since a snow storm was coming that night. They moved around a few things to get us squeezed in. Chuck arrived early, found the problem really quickly, fixed it, and was done within an hour! Fantastic work - I’d highly recommend this company!!

Billy was my service repair person. On time, professional, wore a mask, listened to my clumsy explanation of repairs I need. Explained in detail what he had to do and wrote up the expected repairs and cost before starting work. There were no unpleasant surprises or add on cost. He quickly completed my repairs this saving what could have been an unpleasant week end. Kudos to Elizabeth for recommending scheduling an after hour repair appointment. Do not recommend this service.Specialist came to my house, checked HVAC and recommended change Blower Motor(900$~), because he found evidence of leaking grease.He didn't even take it off to double check.I took it's off by myself and it's no leaks of grease there. They’ve never tried to scam us or have us purchase anything unnecessary. We like that they always give us options of how to maintain our furnace and AC and that they offer financing too. Have had nothing but issues with this company from May to now. We have even had an open inspection waiting since they finished the work. Mindy doesn't do her job at all and they keep saying they are trying to contact us and they are NOT. I will never use them again after we get this all wrapped up. They are expensive liars. Our heater stopped working and we needed a $700 part. After my husband took the panel off and fussed with it a bit, it popped right on. They've shown up unannounced to do repairs stating that we scheduled it and no one ever called us back to schedule. Avoid this company

This company’s name should be UNAFFORDABLE PLUMBING!! They came and installed a new braided wire line to my toilet as the old one was leaking. The tech spent less than an hour actually doing the repair. Which he did twice as he said one of the lines had a manufacture defect. When all was said and done I had a new $25-30 line into my tank. All for $307 and that included my senior discount!!! That would make this plumbing service worth about $275 per hour!! Affordable? I think NOT!!!

The Colorado Springs office has put us off now 4 times after we scheduled the initial installation of our furnace and AC coils. The first time they didn't even remember to put us on the schedule at all, so they rescheduled us for the following week. The day they were to come out, they called in the morning to move the appointment from that morning to that afternoon, during which time they did not finish the job. They were at our house until 7pm that evening. We were told they would come back the following morning between 8am-10am to finish the job, and nobody showed up. We then received a phone call at 11am telling us that nobody could be out to finish things until between 3pm-5pm. The scheduling has been highly unprofessional, and we have been disappointed with their dedication to getting things completed. Every reschedule that has been made has been a convenience to them and an inconvenience to us, and we do not plan on doing business with this company again.

I am very impressed with this company as they answered the phone when I called - scheduled a next day appt and the repair technician Kevin B showed up on time - had great communication , was extremely competent and professional and got the job done extremely quick. I will definitely be using this company again in the future

Cost was to expensive. My main concern was main shut off dripping. I was quoted $499 to replace this when all it needed was the nut to be tighted. Plus I was charged $85 trip fee. Another company 0 charge to tighten the nut. Problem solved. Very un happy customer! Affordable Plumbing is not very affordable. I do not recommend Affordable Plumbing

John Getz is hands down the most professional specialist in his field that I've dealt with. Not only was he punctual, his hospitality and professionalism was amazing. He came out, installed a new A/C system, and replaced my thermostat in record time. It looks incredible, and works incredible as well. By the jobs end, I could honestly say that I couldn't be happier.

Very impressive service. We hired affordable Hvac service for our home Hvac maintenance and at first we had a discrepancy in the service due to missed communication (I know nothing about HVAC!). I called on their service line and the HVAC manager immediately rectified it and sent out another service agent the next day. Really appreciate the customer service and the way it was handled.

My plumber, Ray, was incredible. He was extremely professional but relaxed, which is helpful as a customer with a flooded basement. He was able to replace the busted pipes and get me running water again. Would definitely recommend.

I partnered with the seller of a home to replace and upgrade a home HVAC system. Despite the complexity of the request Affordable did a great job adding a condenser and evaporator to modernize the home's previous system. They were on time and did a great job with the install.

I scheduled an appointment online after finding out I had a busted pipe in my crawl space. I was contacted by a representative the same day & they got me an appointment ASAP. I was nervous about the extent of the damage but I was quickly put at ease by my technician Marco. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the issue to me along with possible fix actions. Once I decided on a solution, he began to work leaving no messes behind. He also taught me some preventative measures and called his electrician counterpart to fix an outlet that was no longer working due to the water damages.I was relieved I did not have to do my own research to find an electrician! The next day the electrician Carlos came out and he was equally professional and knowledgeable. He troubleshot the issue and was able to fix it ASAP! While he was there I asked if he could fix two protruding wall outlets and he did without any hesitation.Marco and Carlos made a tough situation manageable, taught me a little bit more about my home, and made me feel like a valued customer. I will definitely be calling Affordable Plumbing, Heat, and Electric for future issues!

Our furnace quit on Monday night. We called Affordable Plumbing and heat early on Tuesday morning. A tech came out to diagnose our furnace and said they didn't have the part in stock so would have to order from Denver. The part would be in early the next day and our furnace would be repaired. They called in the early afternoon the next day to say the part didn't come in and they would have to wait another day. The next day came and around 4:30 in the afternoon they called to say there was another mix up and it would be another few days. We have been without heat for three days and two nights now during the coldest part of the year so far and now are told to expect another few days until our furnace can be repaired. They wouldn't even offer a discount. I can't recommend this business to anyone I, for one, will never deal with them again. Totally unprofessional. Update: I just called Reliable heating and cooling. They sent a tech out within a half hour. Very professional. He checked the furnace, cleaned the broken part in question and we have heat again. And for $200 less than the Affordable quote. Needless to say, I will be dealing with Reliable HVAC in the future

I have used Affordable Heating and Cooling multiple times and highly recommend them! They are very responsive, get the work done in a reasonable timeframe and go above and beyond every time! They don’t try to upsell you or over charge you! My go to for heating and plumbing.

Mike and his team are the best !! They were called to my home maybe a month ago to replace my HVAC system. Mike left his personal number to ensure if we needed anything or have any problems to give him a call. Anytime I called he answered and assured he would get right on whatever issues we had with our system and fix them right away . Recently our A/C went out again . He was called to come fix it . He came promptly and fixed the issue no matter how long it took. I just want to say I work over night . Mike and his crew came bright and early this morning waited on me to get home from first day of school drop off with my kids and began to work. When I say I slept like a baby ! They were very professional the entire time ! I did not have to worry about anything . After they were done they cleaned up (even the smaller pieces on the floor ) one of his crew even made the comment “no way I’m leaving a mess for you “ I honestly appreciated that ! Our technician (Matt) was on time and was extremely pleasant to work with. We spoke with Matt regarding our projects and he provided valuable input for each of our (three) jobs. Two of the three were completed during this visit. The third will wait until we receive quotes on the refinishing of our master shower. Our furnace went out in December of 2018 and we called a couple of different HVAC companies for estimates. Affordable Plumbing left multiple space heaters to ensure we were comfortable even in advance of us agreeing to work with them. Affordable Plumbing was thorough in their evaluation and I appreciated that they did not oversimplify the project and even suggested the need for additional electrical work (that I agreed with) in advance of starting the work. We decided to work with Affordable Plumbing as they were within range of the other companies price-wise, we liked the systems they suggested (based on extensive research) and their professionalism was evident.Adam and Sean came out to install our system and were very professional and fully explained what work would be done and the estimated timeframes to complete the work that day. Adam and Sean spent extensive time during the day to ensure the work was done right and ensuring the area was clean and the whole system even looks very tidy and well built. P&L Electric performed the additional electrical work required and were professional, clean and left the work visually aesthetic even as advance lines were needed to the AC we decided to replace as well (we later hired them for additional work that was great as well).We were very happy with Affordable Plumbing's work and suggestions to ensure we had a system that worked well, was appropriate for our house and was within a reasonable price range. The work was performed quickly and the added efforts to ensure we were comfortable while we researched systems and companies was just a really thoughtful extra perk that really meant a lot. The gentleman were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job for a super price! They offered options for our needs and accomplished the task quickly and efficiently.

We were very happy with the service provided. We had an emergency leak with a toilet valve. I called and got someone out at 7 pm on a Thursday night. If this company wouldn’t have come out, our water main would have been off all night. I knocked one star off because the price was pretty high. $200 fee for the emergency (understandable since it was after hours) but $300 to replace the toilet valve (less than an hour). I felt $300 was expensive. But I was pleased with the work and promptness of this company.

Kelby was absolutely wonderful and a great informative person. I can tell he is grisly passionate about giving great customer service and loves what he does. The company he works for is disappointing. Their rates are 2.5x higher than other plumbers on top of a trip fee. I have learned my lesson. I should have known better when I called and they wouldn’t give me their per hour charge over the phone. I will never use this company again!

Kendall was absolutely perfect! He was extremely professional and mannerly. I hope that I can request him in the future, if ever I have a problem again with my furnace. He got the furnace running again and the house warmed back up quickly, right before a big snowstorm was due to come in.

Billy was our plumber. He works quickly and efficiently. Our problem arose on the weekend and at 10:30pm. Affordable plumbing and heating came out quickly and was able to fix our problem immediately. We will definitely be calling Affordable Plumbing and Heating again.

Our sewage drain clogged again after these guys supposedly unclogged it a month ago. We called them and they said they could unclog it under warranty. They couldn't send anyone to help us until the next business day. We waited 20 hours with no running water only to have the guy show up and say the job was out of warranty. Don't waste your time and money

Advantage plumbing couldnt clear sewer line, so Affordable said it would probably be the same outcome & provided estimate to dig. Watson-Rooter unclogged and said it was a bundle of roots & opened line in less than an hour. Thanks to Dan's Drains & Digs for excellent referral. No digging into the street just annual sewer line maintenance.PTL

UPDATE: While I have nothing but good things to say about the actual technicians here and the work they do, some flaws in the office have caused me to amend my review. During a recent large excavation job we were met with two different days of no-call, no-shows, and we had to call a half a dozen times to simply get a receipt for the deposit we put down.Worse yet, after the job was finished, I was told they no longer take AMEX, which I had used just weeks earlier to pay my initial deposit. I had always planned to finish payment this way so changing in the middle of my job was an unprofessional move. Then, the day I get a paper check in the mail for them, they call again to say that they never cashed the check I gave them for a different job from 5 MONTHS ago and to please send another one, making me confirm with my bank that they didn't actually take the money. The man I spoke to had no explanation for why they didn't cash the check or notice sooner, as he even had the pictures of the check that the technician took when taking the payment in the first place. Then they called again a few days later to...ask for the check numbers? Which they already had from the call before. It was a very strange follow up, and especially odd when for weeks I could not get a call back to answer my issues with the initial excavation job invoice. Overall this experience was handled very poorly (although the actual job was performed well) and I will need to see improvement of some sort to continue my business here.ORIGINAL:We have used Affordable Plumbing&Heat twice now and they are already one of my absolute favourite companies in Colorado Springs. Nigel serviced our A/C unit and Jeff worked on our plumbing and water heater after we were bailed on by another plumber. I cannot say enough good things about them! I called on this business for a leak I was experiencing. The initial evaluation was tough to pinpoint. The technician contacted the management team to bounce off and assist. Curtis and Matt stopped by the following day identifying the issue. This saved me a leak detect service fee. They were patient with my questions to understand issue. The work for now is about replacing tile and they even provided a couple references. Truly long overdue (as far as my review) but certainly imperative! Adam and Chean did a EXTROADINARY job replacing and installing a Forced air Hydronic Ceiling unit with Zone valve and thermostat. The job, definitely a difficult one- no fault of theirs, had them working extremely hard but never got the best of them! They kept me informed the entire time (which really made me feel assured during the process). Since this was a major job, they had to split it up into 2 appointments and in between appointments, they were able to set things up where we could still use the old system (without any issues that were previously occurring) until the new one arrived. As soon as the new one arrived, it didn't stay in their possession for too long as they had it installed and up & running.Kudos to them as I must mention this- these 2 professionals were so focused on getting the job done- too standard, that they respectfully objected my offer of buying them lunch and they didn't want to slow down and/or take a nap as I was prepared to bring the buffet to them :-)

They quoted well below their competitors. Matt showed up early with a fully stocked truck and was able to replace my water heater immediately after quoting. Ran into a couple unexpected hick ups and he was able to handle them and had the whole thing done in about 2 hours. Very professional and friendly.

My furnace stopped working and would not produce any heat. I called Affordable Plumbing and Heating the same day and they got me scheduled for a repair appointment (same day) at the most convenient time for me. When my technician Andreas arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad furnace motor and explained to me what he would have to do to repair the problem and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate. He was very helpful and professional and completed all the repairs in a timely manner. In addition, he advised me on how to keep my system running more efficiently in the future and recommended a maintenance plan and air duct cleaning service which I intend to purchase in the very near future. He did an absolutely great job repairing my system and I will be recommending the services of this company to all my friends and family!

My furnace went out during a cold snap and they provided great emergency service. Their technician, Steve was very professional and fixed the problem in no time. I was pleased with their great service and reasonable charge for the repair. Overall excellent company.

I saw they are available 24/7, so I called at 6am. They had no appointments that day, but could schedule me that night for emergency rates. I accepted. They called me an hour later to let me know they could get me in sooner at the lower rate! The technicians were nice and Covid aware. We discussed the options and they gave me a great quote for a new furnace, replacing my 27 yr old unit. They even shoveled my sidewalk!! Talk about customer service! The 2 men who came back later that Same Day! were great too. They showed me everything I needed to know, as well as submitted the warranty and will also schedule the inspection. Great company I highly recommend.

AC was making an unusual noice, I called late afternoon and was able to make a next day appointment. The service tech came out diagnosed and fixed it.

My hot water heater went out and flooded the crawlspace that it's in, Brandon was sent out he explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. This took a week or so because of the damp situation in the crawlspace and the extra work that Brandon and his assistant Nick had to do. They were very professional and hard-working individuals.

I haven't had the work done yet. I got an estimate from another company and it was $1000 more. Roy was professional, politer, but most of all I felt like he was honest. He provided me with knowledge, recommendation, and personal experience. He was very down to earth.

Matt did a great job evaluating the situation and making the repairs. He gave me options and advised me on how to make the system safe for my tenants. They were timely and and helped me by setting the appt up with my tenant.

These guys choose wrong name for the company. It's not Affordable at all. If they will come to you, you would already own them already $50. Which is fair enough for the visit. But I refused to pay $340 for simple valve install for dishwasher. This job I can do myself in less then 1 hour (take in consideration I am not plumber). I do software engineering work, but even I don't charge that much per hour. Also I never heard before from service business We don't do it, when it totally related to what they suppose to do.I am sure owner will write along explanation about rating of the company and costumer satisfaction level. But do you really think that plumber job value is $390 per hour? Do you hire highly educated lawyers for plumbing job?Update 3 hour later.Made it myself in 30 min. But lost $50 for quote.

This review is for hvac services only. Mike provided quote although they were not the cheapest, but they did match a quote from another company $11k. Project paid in full prior to start. Project was to promptly begin on 1May, original technician called in sick, back up stowed up after 10am Heat and cool systems were installed, quote included free thermostat. The “free” thermostat did not run full capability of two speed systems. If you are offering a free thermostat after replacing both systems ensure the full capability of thermostat to run full components of the system. The thermostat should provide full functionality of both systems as it’s what was paid for. Replacement of cooling system did not improve temperatures on second floor as I was assured the old system was the source. Not sure if I can recommend.

Our rental had sewer backup issues the line was cleaned the first time, but no camera was placed down into the sewer. Go on vacation and get the call its backed up again. Affordable Plumbing came out and got the line somewhat opened while we were gone. Cleaning up the lovely mess after arriving home. I gave affordable plumbing a call back to have a camera go in. Frankie Vargas was the guy to come out and scope the line. We found out the sewer line was not repaired correctly the first time. Previous owners. We needed a repair under the side walk to the main sewer line. Frankie was a pleasure to work with; someone who knows what needs to be done and how to help you digest that heavy bill. It was a total pleasure to work with the entire crew. They had the hole dug and sidewalk up in no time. I was impressed with the whole ordeal. Warning- this company’s strategy is to “frighten” you into having a undiagnosed, unnecessary service performed and over-pricing the cost.In April 2021, we had requested an estimate/repair for a water heater. The technician’s ruse was to call his “manager” to discuss the problem, which he had not diagnosed, and then they had a conversation within earshot to discuss the imminent danger of the water heater exploding. Bear in mind, this technician spent over an hour at our home without having technically assessed the problem using diagnostic methods or equipment.We did not have the service done. Advised the technician that this scare tactic was unethical, disreputable, predatory and would be reported.

Willy Walsh was on site in no time, and immediately began diagnostics to figure out how serious of an issue we were dealing with. He was able to diagnose and explain pricing. He worked to get our building back in service. Willy even mopped up the bathroom with me! I highly recommend William Walsh and Affordable.

Ed gave me a call 20-minutes out. He cleaned the clogged line. Ed told me he had been in the plumbing business for 14-years, so it provided me with satisfaction that he knew what he was doing. He gave me advice regarding lessening the amount of food going down the garbage disposal. When done, made sure line drained, cleaned up his mess, and left.

Paul Ryan is great, he gave a very competitive and affordable estimate for multiple water heater replacements at the property I manage. I received several estimates from several different plumbing companies and to say that affordable plumbing and heat inc. Is affordable is putting it mildly. They were not the cheapest bid I received although the punctuality and professional service I received was definitely worth the price. I have used other plumbers in the past and have had to go behind them and clean after they had finished working, not with affordable they left my bathroom in the same condition that it was in when they arrived. I will use them every time I have a issue with plumbing, you do get what you pay fo andr in this case I got way more. Extremely pleased and will recommend them to everyone I know.

We had them replace a hot water heater. And an electrician had to wire it in through the breaker box. The regional building inspector came and he failed both the electrical and the installation of the water heater. I have called multiple times trying to schedule a time for the repairs to be done and all I get is some guy that says he’s new and has never done this before. I have asked to talk to someone else that can help me, I’m on hold and then told she is on the phone but will tell her that I called. I have never received a call back from anyone and this has been going on for 3 months. Excuses and lies are all this company is good for.

I would not recommend this company ever. They take advantage of people . I am a friend to kristie Rhodes and I was appalled at how they could price gouge 2 disabled veterans. I have 20 years experience in plumbing sales prior to the military. The toilets that needed repairs should have cost a maximum of $25 each. Plus an understanding cost for labor. Kristie was charged $900 for 2 toilets that can be purchased from home depot for $75-$100. The installation for both should have taken 1hr of billing time. Thier installer took 3 hours! The is outrageous! I have decided to put aside my morals and get my plumbing license because if I can make $900 to install 2 toilets there is no need for law school! To be rich.Shame on you affordable plumbing. And change your name to rip off plumbing.

Cameron was awesome!! On time, extremely professional, and very friendly and personable. He looked at the valve, confirmed what I suspected and had it replaced in no time! I would absolutely use Affordable Plumbing again and again!!!

We had a kitchen emergency and Affordable squeezed us in to their full schedule, notified us right away when a cancellation opened up an earlier repair a lot, and cheerfully communicated all along the way. We’ll call them first next time we need help!

This company is awesome!!!!!! Clay, the owner, is very kind, smart, honest, and genuine person. A different plumbing company came out and took a look at an issue and said the bathroom wall would have to be torn down and at an expensive price. Clay came in and was able to fix it on the spot without tearing down an entire wall and at an affordable price. He took the time to fix the problem and did it quickly and reasonably. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing repairs!!! Thank you, Clay!!

We had an emergency leak in the pipes above one of our hot water heaters and it was a Saturday and after normal business hours. We ended up having to shut the water off to our house and we have a very large household that includes two babies. No one seemed to be available. Affordable plumbing answered our calland had someone out to our house by 10 pm. He had the pipe fixed quickly and even explained and wrote up estimates on ways to solve future problems. He was professional and courteous and answered all the questions we had. They were Affordable and really helped us out of a jam by having an on call system of employees for after hours. We recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I called in for diagnosis of a malfunctioning water heater. Tech said WH needed replacement and electric panel needed replacement. Electrical tech did simple maintenance on panel and WH began working. WH was lukewarm 24hours later. WH replaced. New WH was lukewarm the next day Plumber said to service breaker for WH. Electrician serviced breaker then WH worked normally. Permit for WH not pulled with regional until company asked for full payment. I refused second half of payment until permit and inspection. Permit was not pulled until approximately 3 weeks after install. I began getting harassing phone calls and messages threatening to ‘escalate’ the matter if I do not pay for both the breaker and the water heater. I sent proof that the permit was not pulled, then magically they pulled the permit and called for inspection. I want to maintain a good working relationship with this business, but they are making it incredibly difficult for me to trust them to perform the work for which they are licensed.

I have used this company for years, they’ve never done me wrong and everyone I have met is very professional, helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone!

I am very upset with this company it’s unbelievable. I had to call them a few months back for an emergency no heat. The furnace died in the middle of the night and it was a Saturday morning when my house was 62 degrees and dropping fast. I called and they said they would be here by 11 am. At 1130 or so I called looking for them, their response, “the tech has already come and fixed it.” Yea... no he didn’t. Apparently he saw another company’s truck in front of my house and assumed I called someone else and just marked it as done and left! So they dispatched him to come back and he called me and said he needed to eat his lunch and would be here in half hour to 45 minutes. When he showed up he looked at the furnace and said I had a broken piece, no biggie, but he would have to charge me extra to open the part shop to get the piece. Let me break it down simple... if he had shown up on time it wouldn’t have been a timing problem. Next, he and the company bluntly lied to my face because the part shop didn’t close til 4 or 5, this I know. So they said, “no worries we will waive the extra charge” and sent the tech to get the part. He came back an hour later and fixed it. Fast forward two months, AC had a hiccup and when another tech from another company looked at the system he was very confused. He said, “who did this to the furnace? It’s really not right.” Apparently the part Affordable charged me over a hundred dollars for wasn’t even the right part! He never went and got it! He just added a universal part and rigged some wires together and called it a day. I now have to get someone else to fix the problem because it will not last through the next winter. I will never call this company again. Lazy, dishonest, and slow service are just a few examples of the problems I wish to avoid in the future.

Where to start? The first guy charged $200+ for a $15 part and it fixed my furnace for about a day. I called back as the service was under warranty. When I called, I sat on hold for about an hour. I had to send them a message on facebook for them to know someone was calling them. They said they would call first thing next morning. Well I had to call them as nobody had called me by 10 AM. They couldn't do next day service and wanted me to pay for after hours service. After describing my situation, they magically agreed to send someone out to fix it immediately. The service that was supposedly guaranteed was not. They charged an additional $300 to fix the first $600 service visit that did nothing. Needless to say, I will never use them again, as from my experience, there are more skilled, customer focused heating repair specialists in town.

I had scheduled an appointment to fix a leaking water overflow on the water heater. On the day of the appointment they called shortly before arrival time to ask me to reschedule. I told them no as I had taken a vacation day from work for the appointment. They informed me they could get a technician out between 4&6pm. At 5:20 they call and asked again to reschedule because they couldn’t get a technician out until possibly 8pm. So I waisted a vacation day and it being a late hr doesn’t even guarantee the technician would fix it. Never again. Unreliable and they don’t give a dang about the customer. I’ll have to take another day off because them. We should be able to bill them when they fail to make their obligations. They can cancel at anytime and they don’t care

John, Travis and Pat came to do an install of a Bryant AC unit at my house on 5 Jun 2018. The three of them were very professional and courteous towards me. During the course of the installation, they had to change the route that they had to run their lines to due to a metal beam being in the way. They came to talk to me about it, offered me a couple of alternative paths. I gave them direction after making my decision and was happy with the results. They had to cut a hole in the baseboard to allow for additional cables to be run and after they were done, I wasn't even able to tell where they had to cut. John and Travis took me around to show me the entire installation, explaining everything that they did. The installation of the lines was very neat and tidy. Pat's installation of the electrical boxes, cables, etc was also very tidy. All three of them completed the work as I asked and to my satisfaction. Overall my experience was great and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

My issue started as a kitchen drain backup, but my 70 year old pipes had plans of their own. Matt and Willy rolled up their sleeves and replaced ALL the pipes and fixed ALL the issues. They were professional, efficient and friendly. I recently had an emergency water leak from my outdoor water spigot. Curtis came to my rescue and replaced the line, the spigot and also the front one as well due to its deteriorating condition. This eliminated the leak and the possibility of another in the future. Curtis patience, expertise and advice made me realize that I had made the right choice in who to contact for my emergency. Bruce did a great job of diagnosing and installing good quality hot water heater. Coincidentally at the same time they lift station pump was not working and he successfully diagnosed and fixed the clog. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The dispatcher answered a number of calls after hours and quickly set up the necessary repair visits. I would use affordable Plumbing again based on this experience.

These guys were awesome. A rental home I own had a slab leak on a Friday. They had a plumber out to the home right away for what was originally believed to just be a broken connection. When it appeared to be more they sent a more experienced person and even the manager came to the home. I live 9 hours away and they kept in constant communication with me. They had to jack hammer through my basement and excavate under the home. They were able to have the excavation crew there on a weekend. Really great service!

The service tech came out really fast. Our heat had been out the night before and the weather was -5 degrees that night. They knew it was an Emergency. He was very knowledgeable and courteous.He chatted with us while he was working even though we were or should I say I was probably annoying. I was nervous it was going to be an expensive fix having never used this company before I had no idea what to think. It wasn't. It was an easy fix and he was honest. He made sure he did not track snow into our house as well. I would call these guys again.

I called over 5 different companies trying to schedule an appointment on a Saturday and couldn’t Get any of them to call me back for my (no heat) emergency. I called Afforadable and a friendly representative answered right away and got me on schedule for the next available time slot that suited me. a Knowledgable professional showed up at the beginning of the time window that I chose. He was able to identify the problem and he answered all my questions.

I recommend choosing this company for hvac and electrical needs. They are very responsive. The gentlemen that came out to my home were both nice and professional. It is important to me to have people that I feel comfortable with coming in to my home. They took time to try and explain things to me since my HVAC knowledge consists of only knowing how to adjust the thermostat. I had Affordable Plumbing & Heat come out and replace my broken air conditioner. Chuck was great when he came out and tried to fix the broken one, but alas, we were unable to save it. Brahn came out and helped educate us on the different heating and cooling systems that we could purchase for the house, we eventually decided on the one that fit all of our needs. When Affordable Plumbing & Heat came out to replace the broken AC and furnace, their workers, Steven and Kyle we exceptional. I can not praise them enough. They were effective and efficient. They helped us learn about the system as the installed it. When an issue came to light, Steven and Kyle went right to work to fix it. They were always polite and quick to laugh, it was great to have them install our system. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Steven (or Stephen) came over and did an amazing job at figuring out the source of the noise. He was professional and friendly. I was really impressed with his thoroughness with figuring out what was wrong. Just want to start off with how quick they are to come out and check everything out. I called and the next day I had someone out here fixing everything for me. I had lead electrician Giovanni and he was amazing. He was super friendly and helpful with teaching me things that I didn’t know.

First off the tech, Steven, was awesome and his service deserves 5 stars. He explained how our boiler worked to be, since it’s the first one we’ve had, and explained in depth why we needed the fixes we did and which of them was a priority and which could wait. The only reason I gave 4 stars was for the price. >$200 for a quick normal service call seemed a little high and the >$1,100 to replace 3 parts seemed even higher. Will shop around for the needed work and update to 5 stars if it seems like the appropriate market price.

I am a realtor who had a property that had a number of inspection items to address. I had the pleasure of hiring Affordable Heating Plumbing and Electric for most of these jobs and I couldn't be happier. The rates were reasonable, but mostly because of the value. All of the contractors were extremely professional, knowledgeable and competent. I worked with Cameron for Plumbing, Jason Legers for HVAC, Kris Kelley for electric and Dakota for drain work. I also had Roy Newkirk come by to bid a project. In addition there were many phone calls back and forth to set up appointments and I spoke with Jennifer, Mindy, Kevin and Zane. Without exception every one of them was friendly, helpful and professional. I got all the jobs scheduled in a reasonable amount of time and for many of the jobs, I had them there concurrently which helped me out immensely. Every one of the contractors came with the right tools/supplies and cleaned up after finishing their task. I am a big fan and will definitely have them as my go-to in the future.

Had a new furnace installed by this company today. The installers were pleasant, efficient and went out of their way when my wife mentioned I had lost my original wedding band down one of the registers a few years ago, ring meant a great deal to me since my wife bought it for me when we married. Had previously asked other service personnel to see if they could locate it, and was always told it was not there or could not be found, I wrote it off years ago. The two installers went out of their way to disassemble part of the ductwork after the job was completed, and found it all in about five minutes. They did a great job on our furnace installation, even when they had to reroute the AC drain due to the furnace install, which cost them extra time and effort. These gentlemen were consistently cheerful and were very thorough in explaining all the particulars of the new furnace, thermostat operation and safety shut offs. I was so impressed we wanted their names to do this review, they were Hans Damon and Jacob P Thomas, I would highly recommend this company and these installers to anyone, they went the extra mile when they did not have to, and gave me back something of great personal value. Thank you very much, I will not forget your compassion or your professional work. To those that read this review, ask yourself this, how many companies care enough about their customers to go that extra mile? Affordable was very quick to respond. They were very professional and did an amazing job taking care of our plumbing issue. I highly recommend them.

I had the boiler for my radiant heat system serviced by AP&H. The work was completed on 10/3/20. They performed a number of things that were needed and some that probably were not really necessary. Total bill= $712.50.Fast forward to Nov 30th... The Backflow Prevention valve that they installed, failed and starting flooding our basement. Fortunately, we were home, if not things could have been be much worse.1) I contacted Affordable Plumbing and Heat around 1pm Monday. They said that they could get somebody out on Tuesday, but they would try to get somebody out on Monday. Nobody showed up on Monday.2) When I called again on Tuesday, I was unhappy to find that nobody was scheduled to come by. They said that they would get somebody out later in the day if at all possible. I indicated that I wanted to make sure the person would have the correct part so that it could be addressed in one visit...they could look at the job history to find the part number and/or I could send them a picture of the part with the part numbers).3) A service tech came out around 6:30pm...but did not have the correct part.4) On Wednesday, I called multiple times and never received promised call backs. I finally left a message with the evening attendant asking for a call by 8:30 Thursday morning.5) I waited until 9:30am Thursday to call again. The office staff called me back a few minutes later and indicated that they were working with a few of the managers to gain a commitment to come out. They told me that a manager (John) would call me within an hour. About 3hrs later, John calls to tell me they might be able to get out. I asked if they had the correct part on hand, but he did not know.6) At this point, my basement that relies on radiant heat is getting quite cold despite the use of a small space heater. I am losing faith in AP&H to provide me solution.... I contacted Rampart Supply and found that they had a part on hand.7) I get a call from the office saying they won't be able to get out on Thursday...next available opening next Monday.....WOW!!! a full week without primary source of heat for the house...and it has been cold!8) I remove the failed BFP valve and head to Rampart Supply. I purchase a new valve and compare it to the old one...the housing is the same size, but the new valve has something the old one lacked. I visited the WATTS website to find that the part that was missing from the failed valve was the Secondary Check Valve. I am not sure if the lack of the secondary check valve contributed to the part failing after less than 2 months ???9) Thinking there may have been a reason for the secondary check valve being left off, I texted John (the manager), to see if it was supposed to be left off in this application.... he never responded!10) After reviewing a couple of YouTube videos of people installing this valve in boiler applications, I could see that they were installing them with the secondary check valve included. So took the leap and installed the valve. Finally, up and running again....A Service Tech with the correct part could have completed the entire job in under 15min!AP&H's solution was to have me go without heat in my basement for over 7 days....and at this point in the process my confidence was low that they would actually complete the job on Monday.When I have to go to the supply center, purchase a part, and install it myself...what is the point of a 1 yr warranty?

Had them out to clean our furnace, paid the guy, but felt a little uneasy about how short of a time it took. Decided to investigate and found a dirty furnace. Asked for a refund and was told they chose not to clean it because it needs thousands of dollars in new parts, i said I still want a refund because I paid for a cleaning and he just admitted to not doing it .. was still denied my money back. Had a different company come out, they cleaned it and told us we were being lied to about needing new parts. They also said we are not the first people who they have seen this happen to. Do not use affordable plumbing and heating, you are better off throwing your money in the trash than paying these liars for nothing.

Matt was our plumber-he was OUTSTANDING. We had a previous plumber who charged us $450 and did not fix a single problem. We had Matt come out and he fixed all 4 problems. Great attitude, will definitely have him as our plumber in the future.

I recently used Affordable Plumbing and Heating to have my home re-piped as it had quest piping in it. I had multiple bids and APH was the most competitive and thorough. I selected APH for the work and they were able to get it scheduled right away. Jonas and Troy were my plumbers and both did an amazing job. Stayed and got the work done. I believe they completed the entire scope of 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and 2 hose bibs in 2 days! They made the tiniest holes in the drywall. Left all the patches in an orderly fashion and cleaned up the work space after each shift. Communication between the office and the field was effective and they let me know what was happening each step of the way. My next project is to replace the furnace/AC and guaranteed I will be calling Affordable Plumbing and Heating. A sincere thanks to the team!

My water heater needed to be replaced. I called APH late friday afternoon. Since this was not yet an emergency, they offered to have someone at my house first thing in the morning on Saturday. I was provided a 2 hour window between 8am and 10am. I was expecting someone to show up at 9:55 based on previous experience with cable companies, deliveries, and other services. To my surprise, Michael Reaves, my tech, called me at 8:05 to say he was about 10 minutes out and would see me soon.Mike came in, assessed the situation and provided me with options quickly and in a friendly manner. He explained the installation process and quoted me a very good price for everything. While he took his time to do everything properly, he was done in a very timely manner and I am quite satisfied that everything is in order. He covered everything with me, cleaned up and left. Aside from a new water heater, you can not even tell he was here. I would even say the install area is cleaner than it was before he came by.All in all, I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing & Heat. They are fast, friendly and professional. I plan to have my furnace serviced next and will definitely be calling APH again.

I haven't needed a plumber a lot in the past but this year alone I have used affordable plumbing three time between our two properties. I am blown away by their service and the people they have working for them! I don't often write reviews but since I used the Google reviews to find a plumber originally I thought my experience with Affordable Plumbing and Heat might help someone else out there like myself. The first time we used them was for a clogged pipe in a rental unit we have; the clog was further down then our snake could get and they were great. I called and they came out the next day. The plumber was very personable, up front about the cost and possible additional costs if other situations might arise. About 4 months later we had water leaking from the ceiling of our rental from the upstairs bathroom to the powder room; being it was a Saturday I thought we'd be lucky to get anyone out and if we did we would pay for it, but as the only shower in the house couldn't be used I bit the bullet. Again I called Affordable Plumbing and Heat the lady on the phone was so nice and helpful and felt my panic- she didn't even ask if I needed same day service she just assumed and gave me a 4 hour block and told me we were next on the list whenever the plumber was done with his current job! I was so relieved and then they topped it off by telling me they don't charge overtime or weekend rates- its the same no matter the time! I was ecstatic, the last thing I want to do is spend good money at my rental but knowing I was getting a fair deal really made it better. Today we had our third experience with Affordable Plumbing and Heat and they didn't let us down! We were having a loud pounding noise come from around our water heater when someone flushed the toilet, the water heater was new- only a year old, so I called the company who installed it for the previous owner and they basically scared the crap out of me and then said they couldn't get out for 2 weeks! To say the least I told her I'd call her back. I found the number for Affordable plumbing and Heat and gave them a call. I talked to the first guy who answered the phone and he was amazing! He listened as I explained the noise and then to the noise itself, advised me its called Water Hammer and reassured me all was OK and my water heater was not going to explode on me. He then got me to the dispatcher- who already knew my situation by the time she talked to me and said they had an opening Halloween night the next day! Again no extra charge for a holiday or after 5pm, totally unreal for a plumbing business and so great for customers like myself! Tonight Justin arrived, well kept normal looking professional fella. He took about 15 minutes to make sure the diagnosis was correct, told us the price and got to work. He was in and out before we knew it and to top it off advised us of a coupon that could help us out. I am floored this company is the best!
