Excellent Plumbing, Heating & Mechanical

Looking for someone who could replace prv within a day. Luckily found Rick and his team. So satisfied and highly recommend him for everyone.

Rick did an excellent job replacing our disposer. He took the time to make sure a new one was needed by taking apart the old one and showing me what had happened. He worked quickly and efficiently and the charges were very reasonable. We will continue to use Excellent Plumbing in the future.

They answered my call for help promptly. They came to our house in the country. They kept in communication with me when I had questions. When we needed further work they came back promptly and figured out the problem. I would highly recommend them.

I had a plumbing emergency at 5 p.m. Rick had just gotten home from a long day at work, but came all the way back to Manitou to rescue our toilet. He is kind, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem right away. His company is well named!

Helped me late one evening with some gas line questions. Was polite and offered many suggestions on how and who to call to get my gas pressure and BTU line questions answered.

Rick and his team were great. While many plumbers in the area said they could not complete the task to repair the pvc in my sprinkler box, Rick was up for it. He responded much faster than any sprinkler service could (the day after versus weeks after) and was very professional and provided me a competitive price. Very satisfied with his service and would recommend him to anyone!

The men that showed at my house were very friendly and didn't waste any time to fix my shower. After they fixed it they helped adjusting the temp to every shower in my house and gave me some advice on how my water heater works. I will definitely be using this company again.

I paid a lot of money to get plumbing work. They refused to finish getting the work inspected from regional. Now my house has an violation lean against it. Extremely dishonest.

We had an emergency call in Teller County. Rick was very quick to respond and corrected the problem. We were so impressed with Rick, we are scheduling for other work to be done on a non emergency basis as well. Being out of state landlords, we have a very high level of confidence in Excellent Plumbing & Heating.

They came out to install a gas range that I had purchased and were extremely helpful! They followed all safety measures, checked for leaks, and made sure the range was working before they left. Highly recommend!

They were great on following up and helping me over the phone even though i never had them come out to my house. I ofcourse was not charged but it was more feedback then what i got from the place that did come out!

Rick talked me through a problem via phone and gave me very valuable information to understand the issues with our dishwashers. Even though he spent a lot of time explaining things, he recommended we use a different repairman because he felt it might cost less and be more appropriate for our needs. His generosity with his time and expertise was very much appreciated and he helped us immensely.

Rick came out to Falcon/Peyton and relocated the whole-house filters from my well system from the crawl space I can no longer physically get into up to a main floor room. He also installed a valve that allows me to turn off the water to the whole house from the main floor. After trying to reuse my existing filters to save me money (which leaked), he put in a temporary fix to allow us to have water and came back the next day with new filters. He also fixed my dryer vent/hose that I have been fighting with for a year. The job cost about what I expected, and was more than reasonable considering the two trips. I will call him again if I ever need plumbing assistance.

Made initial Contact with this Company 11-13-2020 and I was told they could come out to my property the following week, I am in the process of converting my home from Propane to Natural Gas and explained this to the person on the phone, This involves pulling permits and setting up Hook up appointments with CSU, the company never showed up that following week, so I called and they said they got busy and would come out the next week , this has continued to happen, Finally this Monday
12-01-2020 I called and asked if they were for sure going to be at my home this Thursday like I had been told , the man said that's what I said isn't it so I waited all day and called yesterday ( Friday) after he didn't show up again Thursday to see what was going on and he said he couldn't come out because he didn't feel well and would come out next week, I am obviously very upset at this point because he has been pushing me off for weeks, NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD!!! I don't leave many reviews for people but this guy deserved 1 star for customer service and for not knowing how to set his schedule up! i have someone else coming out first thing Monday morning now.

Great work! Rick and his partner installed a gas line for a stove range in our kitchen. They were professional, approachable and insured all our gas appliances were running thoroughly before leaving. Rick was personable, listened well, gave an estimate and demonstrated a well-informed understanding of my plumbing concern -- and all of this over the phone! His quoted price was reasonable and his response time fitting. (My concern was a pinhole leak from the hot water heater's line out.)

Rick and his team were amazing. They were personable, professional and answered all our questions. They installed a gas line and hooked up our dishwasher (that came with no wiring or the correct plumbing). Through patience and problem solving we have a wonderful gas line and a working dishwasher. I have already referred Rick to several of my friends and can't speak any higher of a contractor.

This company is amazing!!!! I just knew when I started looking for a plumber that it would cost me a lot of money and would take several days for a response. These guys were able to help me by just talking on the phone and sending a few pics at NO CHARGE. They actually took about 20 minutes out of their day to walk me through a problem and not ask for a dime. I expected to pay and they refused. Will definitely use them from now on because of their generosity and professionalism! Way to go guys!!!!

Excellent Plumbing and Heating is a rare find. A friend of mine recommended Rick, and I have been very happy. I am the owner of The Swimmery, a members-only, outdoor swim club, and I have worked with several plumbing contractors in the past who will not get the job done on time...excuses, excuses, excuses. Rick shows up and works until the job is done. He is friendly, professional and goes the extra mile. He also promptly came all the way out to my home in Falcon on the weekend recently to fix a gas leak. I hope to never have to call another plumber again. Not a very polite way to run a business. Could have easily just stated that they dont run gas lines.

Rick came right away for me when other plumbers would not come to Lake George. His prices are more than fair and his service is great. He actually called me the next day to make sure things where fine. For those who live in the mountains, you are lucky to find Rick. He did bring a helper and also he had me send pictures and write the info from the pipe. He brought the right pieces, which means a lot because the nearest store is 45 minutes away. Rick is GREAT!

Did great job. Expedient. Friendly. Gave price for new Hot Water Heater and installation and that was what the bill was- not a penny more; included tax, permit and inspection. And he installed a good heater- not a cheap low end heater. Call him, not Home Depot!
