There are better, cheaper, and more reliable help out there... We wanted to get our AC up and running before the heat came. They came out and got the job done. The tech bypassed a safety switch to make sure it was functional. It was and he refilled my R22. Apparently he did not make sure the unit worked after he refilled my unit and unhooked everything. We came home with a 2 day old baby to turn on our AC and it did not work. I tried to get a hold of Olson and they responded a couple times via email but would never answer any questions I had. being around over 100 years and the good things I have heard around my office, I am very disappointed in how Olson handled everything after I paid them over $600.

Called Olson to repair hot water heater on Friday. Sent out tech Friday, after 2 hours determined the control was bad, also that there should have been a sediment trap and told me he'd return on Saturday. Tech called me from local parts store to get serial and model number, once gave it to him he said he could not do the repair because it was under warranty under a different vender and we would not be charged for Fridays visit. We decided to forget the warranty and have Olson install a new one, they said they would install it Tuesday. Tuesday was installation day, billing was as follows $1299 for water heater, $240 expansion tank, $65 valves, $24 tees, then labor charges 2 hours for the Friday (overtime rate), the 1 1/2 hour for Saturdays 15 minute phone call (overtime rate), 1 hour reg rate for Tuesday GRAND TOTAL $2372.06 for A 40 gal hot water heater. Something just doesn't ADD up. Plus tech did not install the highly recommended sediment trap.

I needed an outdoor plumbing repair which was not an emergency, but somewhat urgent since we were heading out of town the next morning. I have never needed a plumber and called Olson Plumbing & Heating at the suggestion of a neighbor and I typically see at least one of their trucks on the road every few days. They were able to schedule a same-day service call and a plumber was on the way within an hour. Rich arrived and assessed the issue. He provided options without being pushy or trying to upsell parts or equipment. The repair was completed promptly, tested in front of me, and honestly was a much better installation than the original just two years prior. Rich was very professional and courteous throughout the service. I know that every service call may not go as smoothly as this one, but based on this experience, I would call Olson again for future needs.

Thank you Olson Plumbing. We moved to CS in January and couldn't use one half of our home because of back-up plumbing. After huge fails with another company, we got Olson in March. They came in and spent a while assessing our problem. They fixed our plumbing issues and we can use our entire house. They are professional, realistic about timing and confident.

I have nothing but respect and gratitude for this company. I was in quite the pickle and they went above and beyond for me. I never realized just how important a clean garbage disposal is when it comes to my dishwasher. Lesson learned.

I really appreciated that they sent over the man to designate where the trench would be cut and the core drill would be done in the foundation. Without any contract or promise to work with them they gave me this information so that I could get the floor prepared for the plumbing. since they did this, I'm picking them because all the Bids were pretty much the same.

When having another company in town do a regular furnace tune up in our recently purchased home, it was brought to our attention that we were going to need a new furnace, but their prices felt too high. I called Olson before those guys left my house and even without being in my house were able to give me an estimate on a better unit for thousands $$$ lower. Alex with Olson is normally a foreman, but was the one that came to do an estimate, and wow! He was phenomenal! He also recommend replacing our furnace, but he put all the concerns that the other guys had to rest. His 30 years of experience/passion/ knowledge was very obvious and he was able to help us decide on the appropriate unit for our home and family. Even though we weren't planning on getting a new AC unit, he also talked through future options on that too but was not pushy at all; he was truly serving our family as best he could. Within days, we had a new more-efficient furnace installed. We have three little kids including a new born and our heat was starting to go out; they moved up our timeline and got things rolling even faster. If we're needing a major appliance change or just a yearly tune-up, Olson will always have our business after these multiple interactions. Was not a customer, but driver hit my car with his door. He was on my side of the of my parking spot. I enjoyed trying to get out of my car when coming home.

very unhappy with this contractor. We had an issue that under a home warranty. The contractor completed the work and then told my wife the work was not covered. My wife felt very threatened by this man demanding money so she gave him our credit card. When I heard of this I contacted management. I was credited back and told that they would get the money from the warranty place. A week later my wife received a call saying the warranty place never paid. So I called and paid the bill. Then the Warranty place calls me and tell me I owe them because Olson charged the warranty card and had already received their money. They have been paid twice for the work and have told the warranty company I authorized the charges. This is just Horrible to take advantage of people. I will never recommend olson plumbing they have zero integrity.

Very pleased with the service received by Cecil for our Teledyne Laars boiler baseboard heating system. Called after hours on Valentine's Day. The technician, Brett, addressed our furnace issue in an hour and a half of calling. Brett was very positive, professional and polite.

We had an inspector come look at my water heater. He told me there wasn't a gas valve (turns out there was). It took 6 weeks of phone calls and emails to have someone come replace said gas valve. That was scheduled for 9am... They didn't show up, instead they sent someone out here 5 hours later who said gas valve is fine but your vents aren't big enough and a pipe is 1in too long (he also had to mention that a customer is now without heat because he was pulled from a job to come to mine). Apparently its my fault that they can't meet the schedule they make. I said I'll just remove the door to fix said vent problem just cut the 1in pipe... 2 months to get them to take 5 minutes to cut 1in from a pipe, 170 dollars and finally ready for the city to inspect a damn water heater.

Disappointing

Olson recommended, provided and installed a water heater for me in August 2006. Mine was 40 years old. The water heater would not stay lit. It went out after 20 minutes of warming, relit pilot light; 20 minutes…pilot and flame went out. Colorado Springs utilities came out twice to check water heater and furnace. They identified an issue with my furnace too. I called Olson to clean the furnace and repair the water heater.

The tech arrived at 8:55am – handed me an invoice at 9:50am – Billed me for TWO hours of labor, requested and used my vacuum to clean the water heater and furnace, described the water heater igniter has a defect. The tech stated the new water heater part may only last two months…he didn’t know. He said it was due to dust on the filter - pulled the filter out, held it up to his eyes and said oh, this one isnt dirty at all, you can see right through it.

I called the management who explained that the water heater got a good seven years of life! When I explained the experience with the tech (25 years experience) and that I had purchased the water heater from Olson - he agreed to give me a refund of 30 minutes labor. Really? He charged me two hours labor for a one hour job (explained that it includes drive time) and I live 10 minutes from their shop.

Very disappointed in quality of service and response to my complaint. I will not use Olson again.

Woke up in the early morning to find that the furnace had not turned on during the over-night hours. Inspected the thermostat, checked the thermostat batteries, inspected the circuit breaker, the thermostat switch, then checked the furnace to see if there was any flame.

No Flame. Either the igniter has failed or severe winds blew out the pilot light.

8:55 a.m. Phone call to Olsen Plumbing & Heating. Receptionist stated that we were fourth (4th) in line and would be contacted by someone NOT LATER THAN 12:00 (noon) with an update from the technician.

12:00 NO CALL

2:44 p.m. Wife contacted Olsen once again and was informed that THEY HAD NO RECORD of the 8:55 a.m. phone call.

Apparently Olsen is engaging in CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. If we ignore them long enough they will go away?

Very Disappointed.

Furnace decided to go on siesta on the coldest night of the year. Josh w/ Olson came out and had it up and running in less than an half an hour. Josh was very professional, polite and very knowledgeable.

Ray is wonderful. Best experience I've ever had with a plumber. He was professional, kind, and very mindful of my home and my time. I would highly recommend over any other plumbing and heating company in town.

Joshua Thomas arrived with an apprentice to fix boiler that was squeaking. Found that it was just a setting. Olson had just been out 1 month prior for annual cleaning. So, Joshua did not charge for this repair.

Worst experience ever.... do not trust!!! Bad people to do business with!!! Plenty of hard working people to fix your plumbing needs out there....these are not the people to give your money too!!! Bad service!!

The plumber, Ellis, actually was great! He had to jackhammer a trench in my basement floor to repair a collapsing cast iron pipe. Terrible mess, but, got it done right.
But, the crew that came in to clean up and pour concrete to fill in the trench did a terrible job! A big hump, about 15 feet long with holes and ridges. When asked if they intend to flatten it out and seal it, they said oh the guys who come out to lay carpet will fix it!! I was not going to lay carpet. I was putting down linoleum. They didn't care. And then they emptied a bucket full of concrete on my lawn!
If this is in your future - watch out!

So this morning my home security system alarm notified me that there was a water leak in my basement. When I went downstairs I discovered a water leak at the main waterline. Because of the location of the leak I knew I needed a professional plumber so I called Olson Plumbing since my neighbor recommended them since his business had used them for repairs. I called to make an appointment and unfortunately they were booked up. And they told me they could send someone the next day or after normal hours. So I requested the after normal hours, even though it would cost more and hung up. A few minutes later they called and stated that they had a technician who became available and asked if I minded them arriving earlier. So they sent Mike G. to my house he came, he saw and he fixed. All in the shortest time possible. He was professional, polite and cleaned up the area where he did the repairs. Now I see why my neighbor recommended Olson plumbing and I will definitely call them in the future will all of my plumbing needs.

Our neighbor used Olson for their AC tune up and had a wonderful experience. I called and spoke with their staff to get a quote for our system tune up and we received one of the best prices so far.

They unclog my sink toilet and shower in one go their running so smoothly now. I feel more comfortable and more aware when using them. Only took two hours it was so good to know I could take a shower at the end of the day after they finish.

Had carl come out to visit. Quick and efficient work ethic. Very smart, but absolute terrible customer service. Ripped the invoice out of my hand started heavy breathing and this look in his eye like he was gonna get physical. All because I asked if they had a 1.5 hour minimum or if they charged for driving time. Just trying to find out how they priced because I couldn't find it on there website. Overall not a pleasant experience, because this is my home and yeah. Still have three stars because he came out at 6 at night.

I have always used Olson for my plumbing problems as I have always found them to be reliable, trustworthy and honest. Yesterday I had a leak I noticed underneath the hot water tank. Olson sent a person right out, he was here in 5 minutes and he spent all of 5 minutes determining that it wasn't the hot water tank and that the sewer had backed up. He then advised me that he doesn't do the sewer work and called the person who does to come out. The first person charged $88.00 just to be here in 5 minutes and 5 minutes to tell me that the hot water tank was not the problem. I talked to the manager this morning and he agreed to refund 1/2 of the $88.00, which I am happy about, but still think for the amount of time that it took him to get here and the fact that he didn't spend 5 minutes here is rather excessive and disingenuous especially when I was unaware that it was up to me to diagnose plumbing problems correctly. I assumed that if Olson sent a truck out, that the person doing the plumbing was capable of sewer and any other plumbing problems and that they were equipped to do the job. They are not, So just a warning, know that Olson will charge you for a full hours work at $88.00 just to come out no matter how long they are there or if they do anything. Other than that I was pleased with the tech who cleaned out the drain, it was a mess and I appreciated his hard work. I remain hopeful that they are the same company I remember and that I have often referred others to. However, my experience with them in this situation has shaken my confidence in them.

Not the cheapest, but come across as honest, and knowledge is top drawer. Will must likely do business after I make a decision on which toilet to purchase. One with flush features I demand !!!

They were our go to for anything plumbing related from toilet issues to garbage disposal repair. They were on time all but 1 time and we got a courtesy call before they were even late. We have since moved, and while we hope to have no issues come up, if we do they are on speed dial. Highly recommend they are very professional, knowledgeable, and best of all no surprises with the bill.

Pretty disappointed to wait nearly two weeks for an appointment only to be cancelled on the day of.

They offered great service. They were able to get me in for some important emergency needs faster than any other company I could find online. They cleaned up after themselves. I am giving them four stars because they were a bit pricey. But I guess plumbers are.....

I've had Olson Plumbing and Heating out twice, once back in August 2021 to fix a break in our main water line and just today to get my furnace to stop making weird sounds. Both times the folks from Olson have been just outstanding!

Lowell patiently listened to me try to describe the noises the furnace was making, quickly identified the issue and fixed it (some wires from the motor were getting into the blower wheel) He was very quick and professional and I found the cost of the repair to be very reasonable.

Terry and his crew were also great with the waterline. They arrived promptly when they said they would, they did as little damage to the lawn as was possible taking into account the job that had to be done. Once the digging was over they quickly found the break and repaired the line. They were very thoughtful with the clean up after as well. While the price tag on that job was high, it too was fully reasonable considering they were able to get out the day we called (unlike everywhere else which we would have had to wait 2-4 weeks for,) the size of the crew, the machinery needed AND the fact they did the job after hours, on overtime. We were so thankful to get our water back on that day we did not mind paying for overtime. They were a wonderful crew and did great work.

I will use Olson for everything I can and I highly recommend them.

I was in full panic mode to find out one of my listings had an unpermitted water heater which required a chimney liner to actually pass. Olson Plumbing (thanks Carter!!) was able to send someone out that day to give us an estimate for the liner, returned two days later to install and handled all the required paperwork with PPRBD. Can't thank them enough!!!

Thank you folks so much for installing my new water heater! I called and got an estimate over the phone (seriously! Awesome!) and was able to have someone come out the next day! The technician came and I was 10 minutes away, so I gave him the garage code. He went in and found the water heater and wrote up the estimate, before I even arrived. Thank you! Seriously, saved me a ton of time! I am a single mom and was really worried about how I was going to get this fixed, but they have by far the best rates I found in the city and great customer service. Elizabeth in the office was super sweet and helpful and my technician did a fantastic job! I couldn't stay (had to get back to work), so he locked up when he was finished and I came home to a brand new water heater. You guys have no idea how much of a relief this is for me! While I was deployed to Qatar, my wife called Olsen plumbing to fix a sewage smell in our basement. They came out, ran a snake, did something called a smoke test, charged us $446.50, and the sewage smell is still there. Bottom line, they charged us over $400 to fix nothing.

Brent Olson has been our plumber ever since we moved to Pocatello. He has always been professional and completed repairs quickly. He is the best !!

We moved in to a house that had a backed up main. My landlord is out of the country, but gave me Olson's number. They were incredibly responsive and were at my house within about 30 mins. A couple weeks later (today) we realized that we still had an issue. Called them after hours, they arrived within the hour again. Ron was amazing, fixed it quickly. He wasn't even mad about having to come out after hours, or what pain it was getting it fixed lol. Would recommend a million times over!!

Olson came highly recommended, and the individual that came out to take a look at the work that needed done was kind and knowledgeable, but after at least 6 calls over the course of a month, I never got a quote or a call back. I know these are crazy and busy times; a call or some communication about the project would have been appreciated.

So, Olson Plumbing and Heating left me no choice but to give them five stars. They were supposed to arrive between 8-9. They showed up at 8:20. They said it would take 6-8 hours. They were done in 3 1/2 hours. The installers were so incredibly nice and professional. They were totally transparent and explained everything they were doing. It was just a very pleasant experience and I got a great price as well. I even told them before they left that I will probably need a new furnace in the next 2 years. Guess who I'm calling? We used Olson Plumbing to remove sinks and associated plumbing from our home in Colorado Springs. We needed this done so we could have the countertops replaced. The plumber turned off the main water valve to the house and removed the sinks and plumbing. However, when he turned the main water valve back on he did not check the work he had done and he missed that one of the valves from a sink he had removed was still on. Water ran in my unoccupied home for nearly 30 hours. When I found the water was still running in the home I simply turned the valve that was left on to the off position and the water stopped running. I called Olson to put them on notice of the damage. They sent a tech/plumber out the same evening I found the leak. The tech stated the reasoning for the water running was a faulty valve. I'm no plumber but even I know if the valve is turned and the water stops flowing, the valve seems to be working properly and is not faulty. Now I have thousands and thousands in damage to my home and Olson Plumbing is denying any and all responsibility. This will obviously be a long drawn out battle to get my home fixed.

Beware of this company. There are plenty of other plumbers out there.

Best plumbing company in Colorado Springs.

We were without natural gas due to a leak. We contacted this company and they came out to assess the needs of the job. We were supposed to hear back from them last week on Thursday and as of Monday, haven’t heard a word. It would have been at least 5,000 job but clearly that’s not important to them. Keep in mind we have no heat, no hot water, no cooking. These clowns just left us waiting. So if you’re serious about having residential work done, and time and communication are of essence to you, find someone else.

After accepting an employment offer, my 15 year old felony kept me from attaining said job AFTER offering job. 👎

Driver of vehicle 74 pulled out in front of us. In an unsafe manner. When called company to report the driver the call went immediately to hold music without even saying company name.

New Years Eve and our main drain backed up. Husband did his best but we needed a professional to fix the problem. Called another company who turned out to be in Denver. Oh yes we have a technician in Colorado Springs they will be to you before 5pm At 4:45 received a call from them saying they didn't have a technician in the Springs! Husband called Olsons. Technician was at our house within the hour, did a great job, and the charge was less than the Denver company had quoted. Beware of Denver companies who will lie to you and leave you stranded! Thank You Olsons for sending Austin (great technician! ) and helping us when we needed it!

The guys that came to our house were sweet, respectful, clean, professional…. The list goes on. They referred to my husband and I as “sir” or M’am”, which was not at all expected, but noticed. Quentin was professional and clear in his run-down of the cost and services rendered. Will (and I realize this isn’t a game changer for most, but it mattered to me) made friends with my traumatized, untrusting adopted dog when pup was acting aggressively. He put time in to make friends with my boy, and that’s not easy! Again, that’s not a plumbing/heating expectation, but it meant a lot to this family!
At the end of the job, a supervisor came and checked all work and reassured us about upcoming city inspections.
We couldn’t ask for more!

A different contractor did a sewer line job on the neighbors property that backs up to my property (the houses are back-to-back...no fence). The job ended up dragging on for weeks. One night I came home and found a large equipment trailer (think large horse trailer) parked in my driveway next to the house. This trailer belonged to Olson Plumbing who was working as a sub for the other contractor. I called the number on the trailer and left a voicemail, which was never returned. Someone stopped that night (prime contractor) to apologize for it being there and that it would be gone by 7:30 the next morning. Turns out it was a compressor that ran all night. The next afternoon it was still there when I returned home. I called the number on the trailer to have it removed, which was done that night. The next morning there were workers in my driveway stretching out sewer lining and backing a van up my driveway. I informed them I was done having them use my property for access and work area and asked them to use the easement if they needed needed some space. I was told it would only take 30 minutes and it was the “only way” they could do the job. When done, one individual (owner?) apologized for the intrusion and left.

Olson was contracted to install a new Air Conditioning unit. I started the process on June 8th but the A/C wasn't functional until August 25. I've had numerous visits I can count on both hands how many visits to correct all the installation problems. The new a/c unit wasn't secured to the foundation more importantly the condenser outside was frosted with a snow ball indicating all that cold air was trapped outside in 80 plus degrees . Not to mention the technicians soiled the carpet with their work boots as they were in and out of the home. On the very last visit they didn't even bother to notify that the work was completed and were leaving and left my home unsecured with an unlocked door. They say never say never but for the amount of money Olson was compensated in the future Id exhaust any other HVAC competitor before using Olson but with the warranty they are necessary and likely would be put to good use given so many issues with the installation not to mention summer is practically over so money was spent with no use for the unit as we move into fall and winter. Whats unfortunate on several visits they were training and I can imagine as a new hire its not a good feeling learning the improper way of installation and then coming back out to correct that installation job. All around just a very poor experience I wouldn't wish on anyone especially in a heat wave.

Our house got hit by lightning and our AC stopped working. We called Olsen as they were the ones who instilled/permitted the unit when we bought the house. The technician was a cool guy, but he charged us for 6.5 hours of labor when he was at the house a total of MAYBE 4 hours. Olsen charges from the time of dispatch, so it includes drive time. Additionally, when we went to turn the unit on (3 days later) it kicked on for about 10 seconds then lost power completely. We called the after hours number to ask if someone would come out as it was working. We were told that even though we just spent a lot of money to get our ac working, they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be a charge as, it may not be related to what was fixed. Once my AC is working again, I will NEVER be using Olsen again.

When they came the first time they said it didn’t fit so we called and had the counter adjusted then called them out again, my husband received a call at 2:45pm that they were on their way and would be there in 20-30 minutes but didn’t get here til 3:45pm. After he started I came out to ask a question but couldn’t find him. Well Mike G. took it upon himself to use my bathroom without asking and smelled up my entire house!! After he left I had to go in there and clean it up! SO GROSS!! He also didn’t wash his hands and wasn’t wearing a mask the entire time he was here. This company isn’t following CDC guidelines or just being clean by washing your hands.
I have been trying to reach the owner and have left several messages but never got a response, obviously they just care about taking your money and nothing about customer service. After everything was finished it was $800 for a kitchen sink to be installed.
Honestly you would be better off finding someone else for your plumbing needs!!

Sewer system backed up on, you guessed it, New Years Day (Sunday). Olson not only answered the phone, but sent a technician that afternoon. He was professional and efficient. He noticed an issue with a toilet, so Olson sent a plumber who fixed that problem. I get it. They were making overtime due to working on a holiday. Still, they were working on a holiday. And they did so with good cheer, patience, expertise, and for a surprisingly reasonable rate, all things considered. Great experience with Olson!

Last month we had a technician from Olson come and diagnose why our a/c unit was not working. We contacted this company after having some other jobs completed by Olson at our new home.
After diagnosing the issue, the tech explained the problem. At some point prior to us purchasing this home, the switch was removed from the disconnect so there was no power running to the unit.
I asked him for a quote to fix this. He told me that it is NOT a possibility to replace that piece (which I learned later on is false). He told me the entire A/C disconnect unit needed replacing so I requested a quote for this. He said the part would be $100, plus labor to complete this job. He had to leave to go pick up the part as he did not have one on hand. Almost 2 hours later(on the clock the entire time), he returned and replaced the unit.
Upon receiving the invoice I was shocked to see that the part actually cost $325 dollars. At NO point was I made aware of this until I saw it in the bill. At NO point did the tech contact me to authorize this extreme difference in price from what he quoted me. Add on another 300 and change for labor, and the total owing was almost $650.00.
As frustrating and disappointing as this was to be completely fleeced and disregarded by this company, I later learned that I could have purchased this EXACT same disconnect for UNDER 40 DOLLARS myself. That’s quite a markup. I also learned that I could have in fact found a replacement piece for the disconnect without ever having to get a brand new unit.
After reaching out to the service manager and explaining my situation he was so concerned about my complaint that as compensation he offered me the wonderful and amazing $129 dollar deal to clean my AC unit. (Another attempt to drain more of our hard earned money from our bank account) Really? Completely disappointing customer service. I refused as there are many competitors charging $79 for the same service so why would I pay that? Eventually he said he would send someone out to do it at no charge, since he didn’t want to lose us as loyal customers.
The gentleman who eventually came out and did the cleaning was excellent and also could not believe this whole situation.

We can’t afford to be loyal customers to a company that does not care about quality of service and honesty. There was zero transparency or communication.

My experience with Olson Plumbing & Heating was beyond AMAZING - My water heater broke on Thursday and I had a replacement installed by Friday evening. Olson’s office staff was so nice and understanding that I had no hot water. The guys that came to install my new water heater were uber professional, wearing masks, courteous and and respectful of my house. This company is by far, hands down the number 1 best, best in quality, best in performance, best in customer service, they treat their customers with kindness, courtesy and respect. Sat on hold for 40 minutes to make an appointment for an emergency gas leak, made an appointment for today at 8am, it is now 4pm and i haven't even received so much as a phone call or a reason they didn't show up for an EMERGENCY GAS LEAK IN A RESIDENTIAL HOME. Don't waste your time with these clowns, much better options in this town that actually care and want to make money in this already crippled economy.

EDIT: The owner saw this review and called my cell phone, not to fix things, but to blatantly deny I ever had an appointment (how would he have gotten my number and known who I was without that? 🤣 he then told me I wasn't a real man and decided to try and make fun of me. Not sure what kind of business operates this way when a customer is wronged but unless you want harassing phone calls where the owner berates you and makes insinuations and threats toward you, I wouldn't ever call this business. Like I said, there's plenty of professional HVAC, plumbing etc companies in the area that won't harass you after wronging you.

They did a brand new AC for my Dad's house and at my house fixed a leak in our swamp cooler and installed a new water pressure regulator They did the jobs sooner than expected and beat the others quotes and less money did not mean less quality as all the work was amazing ! Alex was the best !

Olson came out on a Sunday to unclog our sewer line. They responded quickly, and the technician who came was very professional and friendly, and the job was done quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

I just wanted to send a huge positive thank you for the service we received from Lowell this week. Lowell was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in the repair of our condenser fan. I believe he went the extra mile to make sure he resolved our issue. He was a pleasure to meet and communicate with. He provided us with some helpful suggestions for keeping our heating and cooling running smoothly and suggested some additional services which we will be using to service our heating and fireplace in the near future.

We had flooding/water backup into the laundry room because the mainline got clogged. Didn't discover this until 8pm on Good Friday. Olson was the first company that was able to provide service to our after hours holiday emergency. The technician Brandon was professional, explained what he was doing, why there could be mainline clogs, and advised additional follow-up with Olson for some other potential plumbing improvements. Only company I will call going forward.

I work downtown. We pay for a parking space. I've asked them to not park in our spot before...and then had to call the office a separate time to have them come move. I should just call the dam tow company...but I hate doing that...now they parked partway in the spot like an well...ya..its one thing to take someone's payed for spot...its another to block it enough they can't park there.

I would highly recommend! We had an emergency plumbing issue and they called out another plumber because one plumber was already out on another job. I can't tell you how much we appreciated their professionalism, punctuality and reasonable pricing!

What can I say except amazing. I have used this company now on 3 separate occasions and each time the crews are on time, courteous and go above and beyond. Eric and David are great guys who really know their stuff. If you have to call for help make Olson(David or Eric) your first call!!

The plumbing work and tech was fine. They are very good at telling you the hourly rate starts when the tech is dispatched, what they dont tell you is the amount you pay will vary soley one where the job before yours was done. I paid 1.25 hours of travel time alone when their office is located 25 minutes away. Where did the extra 1 come from? That charge also included the travel time back which either means they are double dipping and charging the client after me and myself for the same commute, or, your rate will also vary if you are the last one of the day. Upon dispatch I even confirmed with the operator that I am not paying for commute from further than their office, which I was told I wouldnt and that ended up being false. I have also called multiple times, and the supervisor will not call me back. Dishonesty and lack of integrity here.

This is the absolute best company, hands down, in Colorado Springs! We moved to Colorado Springs last August (2020), and after being here a few months, one of our water heaters quit working. Josh & Justin came out to change the water heater. They were professional, knowledgeable and the absolute best company we could have called to take care of the job. They will be the only company we go to for any plumbing and/or heating problems - a company that has integrity and is honest! I cannot recommend them enough!

They did my heating system, replaced the control board. Got the bill 0ver $1000. Found out the parts over charged $200 after Read the bill . The technician seems not skill on the area. He did not know what he need to do and calling his boss for instructions , I have to pay his learning experience .....

The guy who came out to look at my leaking shower in the master bath seriously asked me WHY I wanted the shower fixed and wasted time explaining I would like a functioning shower in my home.
Other than that, he said it's probably a tile issue; could be drain, but he doesn't know. Okay, thanks? Isn't that what I'm paying you for?

ZERO Stars if possible. Just got off the phone with Olson. I have NEVER had such horrible customer service! After calling 2 weeks ago and sending a request for information I got snubbed and hung up on. Christina in service is by far the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. After a couple of sighs of annoyance when I asked for information on opening a new commercial account, she grudgingly told me she didn't care about anything I had asked about and refused to give me information. We have 5 commercial building at 15K Square feet plus in each and aren't pesant nobodies. After she hung up she had the nerve to call my number back and hang up again as to see if i was an actual customer or not. If this is who represents Olson heating and plumbin, then STAY AWAY AND DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Seriously I feel very insulted and would NEVER recommend then to anyone let alone do business with them.

I am not sure what is going on at Olson, but I just finally gave up today. I received a notice from the City that I needed a backflow valve to be installed. I had to wait 3 weeks to get an estimator to my building. After that I could not get the results of the estimate. It's been over a month since they visited for the estimate. No contact from them. I practically begged them to help me. Sent emails and left messages. I called another company today to start the process all over. Must be nice to be so busy that you can treat people this way and still be in business. What a shame.

Olson Plumbing and Heating have been responsible for my heating problems for the last 15 years. They are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. If they make a mistake they readily admit it and fix it correctly at no charge.

My girlfriend and I had a major sewage backup at around 10pm last night. Sewage coming out of the shower drain etc. Called these guys and they had someone out to fix the problem within an hour. Ron was the technician who came to our rescue. He was professional, polite and fixed the issue within an hour. I would highly recommend Olson to anyone and everyone in need of emergency plumbing service!

Had another company tell me i needed a clean out and it would cost me $4500.00. I called Olson Plumbing for a second opinion. They called me back immediately and sent someone over 2 hours later. Olson's has always helped out our family when in need!!! Whether we had an urgent request in the middle of winter or just needed some seasonal maintenance we can always count on them!

This business may be good, but the customer service female was useless and rude. Their company was out to service the furnace and ac 4 months ago and first time using it yesterday, the air conditioner is not cooling. Wants me to pay full service to come out and look at it. Why would you rehire a company that couldn't fix and stand behind their work to start off with?

Rough start to relationship, but anticipating it will improve.

I am a small business owner that has been in Colorado Springs since 1986. We are fortunate to own our commercial buildings but that also requires repairs and maintenance.

After 34 years of doing business we have found that Olson Plumbing and Heating are the best in the business. They are reliable, reasonably priced, but most importantly they are honest. I have experienced several companies that try and take advantage of the customers.

My most recent experience occurred on Friday. A tenant in our building had an issue with their toilets and they called a different plumbing company to fix the issue. After several hours their conclusion was that there was a block in the line in the parking lot that would require the parking lot to be dug up, get a permit, and repair the line. Their estimate was between $8,000-$10,000.

Fortunately the tenant contacted us to get permission to complete the repair. We told them we would not move forward with something like that without a 2nd opinion.

We contacted Olson and they quickly found the block. It was NOT necessary to cut into the parking lot - just a simple repair.

They came first thing Saturday morning and the repair is going to cost only around $500-700 dollars. Had the repair been done on a weekday it would have likely been cheaper (since they were coming on a weekend)

This is a perfect example of why using a reputable and honest business is so important. Olson Plumbing and Heating have been in business for over 100 years for a reason.

As an additional warning to consumers: the plumbing company that gave the $8,000-$10,000 estimate pays their employees a commission. Their employees have an incentive to increase the cost of the repair because they earn 3% of the repair. Olson plumbing employees work by the hour and only have the customers interest in mind.

I highly encourage everyone to use Olson!

Had a huge leak in my basement and suspected that my sewer lines were backed up. Olson was able to get a team out right away to address the issue. Chuck and Brandon arrived at my house earlier than expected, they were professional and kind, got the job done quickly, and walked me through what they were doing. The pricing was reasonable and the service was great!

Our air conditioner stopped working properly on a Saturday night at 9pm. I looked through the telephone book for Air Conditioning companies that offered emergency services. Olson caught my eye because they have been around for over 100 yrs. I called and within a half hour Lowell showed up to our house and within the next half hour, had it fixed and running. Lowell was our hero that night and i will continue to use Olson for my regular check ups for Heating and Air as well as any issues i have with either unit. THANK YOU OLSON and Lowell for being there for us!!

Terrible service took them almost a week to get back to me after telling me they would call me back to set an appointment, when they finally send someone out they sent the wrong person (a boiler guy), then when they sent the right person (plumber) he said well there's nothing we can do I can't locate the issue (even though I told him right where the leak and busted pipe was) he then proceeds to tell me I won't be charged for the visit cause there's nothing he can do. I say okay I get another plumber out he locates and fixes the problem in 45 mins 2 days go by and I notice my checkings account is overdrafted and I'm now just under negative 200 dollars the 165$ service fee they I was told wouldn't be charged to my account and a 35$ over draft fee. I then call the company and they told they will fix it but they're having a company emergency and my problem was at the bottom of the list I then wait about A WEEK before I call back to ask if anything has been done the receptionist was very snarky and rude telling me I'll have to deal with management, during the hold transfer to management I was hung up on and after they refused to answer the phone for several of my calls I finally was able to speak with a manager and was refunded the 165$ but was pretty much told I was SOL with the overdraft fee. All and all worst experiences I think I've ever had with a plumbing company. I hope NOBODY ever uses this companies services, and I also hope they think reconsider the employees they choose to represent them in the future. 1/5 stars, I wish I could give 0

I have used Olson Plumbing and heating for several years both commercially at my offices and for my home. They are honest, dependable and fairly priced. Moreover, they know what they are doing saving me time and money. I would highly recommend them!

Excellent work. I had a leaky toilet, water pressure to our tub had decreased, and a sink that needed replaced. 1st off, the communicated after the appointment was set was fantastic. I was surprised at how much of a priority they made my job seem. The install and replacement of the sink and toilet was done expertly and in a timely manner. The water pressure prior to our tub was also fixed. I highly recommend Olson Plumbing.

The best around by far

They charged $165 to (mis)diagnose a water heater and then refuse to service it anyway because it came from Home Depot instead of from them (at triple the price). They felt the need to teach me a lesson. It worked, as I no longer call Olson for anything.

Got it done. Quick and painless.

I was referred to Olson by my home inspector. It sucks how expensive HVAC can be but they have gone above and beyond for us. The part needed is delayed so they provided us with modular AC units to make it more bearable in the meantime. We also had a couple other estimates done and Olson's was right in line with others. I'd highly recommend.

So for sewer cleaning, their pricing was fair and the work seemed good. I don't know what's changed, but it took me a couple of weeks to get in with them. They were supposed to get me a quote, and it's almost been a week since their visit. I'm always on hold when I call, sometimes for as long as ten minutes. I just gave up and went with another business. Work's done and I still haven't heard from them.

No other company would show up to take care of my frozen pipes during the recent freeze... however, this company sent a Technician out within the hour, even though they were definitely busy. The tech went above and beyond and spent as long as it took to get my pipes thawed out. Great company. Great employees. Dont waste your time other places, call Olson and get it done right.

One of the driver's was driving like a maniac yesterday, and as a result, I now have a cracked windshield.

I have called twice, once at 1130 in the morning and once today at 410. I was told both times the only person that could make an appointment for an estimate was at lunch or gone for the day. I asked this time if she was the only one in the building that was capable of doing this. Seems odd that a company this large could'nt have a person cross trained or a manager that could step in. I was recommended to use this company and see there trucks everywhere but guess they have enough work. The lady that took my call was willing to let me call back or transfer me to her voicemail.Thanks anyway
