Sam came out to diagnose our air conditioning. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything and got the electrician set up quickly so we could safely move forward in the work that needed to be done.

When we bought our home in September with no AC we thought we could do without one for the first year. Well the temp went from the seventies to the nineties in one week. UGH! Had a slight urgent issue with our evaporator not draining properly down in the finish basement where the HVAC system was installed last year May 2019. As a result we had water leaking down in the furnace, the filter was totally wet, and the water was running out on the floor and started getting the carpet wet just outside the furnace room. I called Comfort by Design around 11:45 am. They told me they would have a tech there at 1:30pm. Well, they where really responsive because their tech David Kint showed up by 12:35pm and was on the job. David resolved the issue and even showed my wife on how she can probably check and clean the condensation line in the future and how often for proper maintenance. David Kint get's a 5 STAR Review for his courtesy, professionalism, and going beyond the call of duty. Comfort by Design get's a 5 STAR review because they have kept up their word in what I expect in regards to expected customer service of what they promised me back in May 2021 when I bought the new HVAC system. We have had the Comfort by Design Team install a water heater and a gas line for a stove. Both times they were great to work with and did exceptional work. With the water heater they even had the father of one of the owners come install it on his day off so we wouldn't have to go without hot water. They are very responsive and will continue to use them for any of our needs.

Had a great experience thanks to technician Joe Strobel. Our heater stopped working at the start of winter and they were very prompt with fitting us in to their busy schedule. Joe was very professional and spend a lot of time finding the parts we needed in stock nearby and updating me on the status of the repair. He saved us from needing to buy a new furnace unit.

I used Comfort by Design to fix an issue with the furnace at a rental property. All of the employees I interacted with were friendly, professional, and courteous. They were able to get the repair done quickly and on time. I talked to the technician prior to starting work, and again after he was done. I was also able to pay the invoice online. The entire process was very easy. I will likely use them for my personal residence too.

Jon and Jeremy did the install of a furnace and a/c system for me today. Both were very professional and hard working. When I checked on them periodically, both gave me great updates on the progress. From the initial sales call by Scott Bryant and the installers Jon and Jeremy, I am very impressed by this company. They replaced a hot water heater that had started leaking on very short notice. There were a couple of issues with the install, but every time I called they sent someone out right away and didn't stop until the problem was resolved.

I compared 4 different companies. The president of my HOA Recommended I call them. I did not realize they were more than 60 miles from me. They were here on time they went right to work they had everything they needed. Did quality work explained everything to me as they worked inside. Then when they were done they went over everything with me inside and outside. They are in Colorado Springs but if you are in the Denver area. Give these folks the opportunity to earn your business they are very competitively priced. They offer financing and Their technicians are great people. Given the time of year and record temperatures I probably got lucky but I called them on a Monday to set an appointment for them to replace my AC unit. They were able to send a Crew out on Tuesday.

Quality work & products. Every employee including the owner played a part in my project of replacing two furnaces and installing AC. Sam & Dave did a great job and provided leadership to the team.

I contacted Comfort by Design to add ductwork above my microwave to vent outside, add a gas line for a range, and a water line for a pot filler. The guys knew I had just gone through not 1 but 2 other contractors that really did a terrible job on a VERY simple project, that directly impacted the work Comfort by Design needed to complete. I explained that I was feeling apprehensive about having any additional work done because of my prior experiences. Their team assured me they could fix the damage that was done and complete their own work as well…..I just needed to trust them. I put my faith in Kevin, Joe, and the rest of their team and they made it happen! I am so overjoyed with the work they did, that I keep looking around my house to see what else they can come and fix! This is a fantastic company. From the office staff to the technicians, very professional, affordable, and the quality of their work is AWSOME! They answered every single question I had no matter how ridiculous. They made me laugh and they put me at ease as they drilled holes all over my house!  I really thank them for being so understanding and helpful! I will be calling them for any additional work I need done!

I wanted to thank Aaron. I did not understand how to place a permanent hold on the thermostat. It was a very quick fix/instruction. He was so gracious and I truly appreciate his help. He was here last than 5 minutes. Aaron was wonderful.

I have hired this company for work at 5 or 6 houses and they have been great! They have been fair in their pricing and punctual with their sceduling. They actually put a new furnace in one of my houses and I really expected them to turn down the job because of the difficulty of the project. These guys are locally owned and very honest. I would recommend them without hesitation!!

I’m very impressed with Comfort By Design and the quality of workmanship of their services. I first had them out to replace the ducting and move the return air vent from the floor to a wall in my 120+ yr old home. Mike and Dustin spent nearly all day in my creepy basement and crawl space getting the work done without complaint. I then had them install AC, a humidifier, and REME Halo Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier in my home. The cost was competitive, again their work high quality, and I’m sitting comfortably in my old home with current technology. I highly recommend Comfort by Design over any other HVAC company in Colorado Springs.

We had a great experience with Comfort By Design! About a week ago, our 24-year-old furnace stopped working. We noticed our AC wasn't really reaching the upstairs of our house and looking closer, there was some frost/condensation on the AC line that was a little worrying so we made a few calls over the weekend to try to get in somewhere. First of all, great first impression from the very pleasant and helpful girl I talked with. Great experience from estimate to installation of our Bosh central air conditioning. Wouldn't know that this 30 year old house never had air conditioning. Jesse, the estimator, explained everything and answered all my questions. Did a very thorough inspection of house and ensured we had an adequate furnace and electric panel. He showed me the options for what we needed (5-ton unit). He ensured right away that the unit we wanted was in town. He also was able to provide the estimate right away.
The installers were right on time and Mike and Brian did an exemplary job. They went above and beyond in their attention to detail, professionalism and explaining what they were doing. Kudos you guys!
Another cool thing they do is send you a text when the estimator/installers are on their way with a pic and short bio. AND this company offers a 2-year buy back, no strings attached. I think that shows great confidence in their employees and products. So glad we chose this company.

I loved that Comfort by design sent me a text and an email letting me know who our tech was going to be! David was very professional and sent a detailed invoice explaining what was done. David did arrive earlier then expected but that’s much better then being late!

Very pleased with installation of a new furnace which included some improved ducting. Have since had annual service and one late night call when a fuse blew in our thermostat line. All covered under warranty and handled within an hour of our call.

We are building out our unfinished basement and required ductwork and a bathroom exhaust fan to be installed. Comfort by Design promptly sent Joe to conduct a free estimate. Joe helped us strategize the most efficient way to support the project regarding the HVAC system requirements and find the most efficient cost. After receiving other quotes, we accepted the estimate and scheduled the work to be done within a week.

The technicians that performed the work, Steven and Ignacio, were on time for the project to start. They were very professional and diligent in their work. They performed the work over a day and a half, taking care to clean the job site following the completion of their work each day.

The billing process was simple. We used an automated payment option. We were impressed with the HAVC department from Comfort by Design from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone in the Greater Colorado Springs area.

In February, 2020 our reidential furnace stopped working during a severe cold weather storm. An email in the middle of the night from me was answered immediately and a member of the office staff called before 8 AM the following morning. Purchase and installation of a replacement furnace was accomplished in less than 24 hours. Every interaction with the office staff and technicians of Comfort By Design has been outstanding. As a home owner I could have not asked for better people and service throughout our experience.

Our 22 year old boiler got a cracked casting causing a slight leak. I called John Pace and sent him information and photos of the installation. After a few days we had an up-dated ‘drop-in’ replacement boiler installed. Nathan and Jeremy did an outstanding job and John turned up during the installation. My invoice was the low end of the initial estimate. So all round a superb company !

Riley did a great job installing our new furnace. He arrive when he said he would and got the job done very quickly. In fact, the inspector said it was a job well done. Also, Riley answered all of my questions and explained everything clearly.

We had a HVAC issue with our new-build home not cooling or heating properly on the coldest and hottest days. We determined to get some quotes (five) on how to correct the issue from multiple contractors, the last of which was Comfort by Design who we had met at a home show. John (co-owner of the company) came out personally to do a complimentary quote, looked at every component of our setup, and then did some research into the design. Comfort By Design identified that our system (blower) had not been installed in accordance with the permitted design documents and gave me recommendations on how to proceed with our builder and set up a follow up call closer to the summer to connect with us; all four other contractors gave various quotes to replace different pieces of the system, not one of them identifying the real issue.

We had an excellent experience with Comfort By Design. The quote was done in person by Scott Bryant, one of the owners and it was fairly quick, cordial and priced reasonably well. Installation of the mini-split A/C unit was scheduled within two days notice after the quote and it took less than a day to make the installation. Both John and Mike were very cordial, professional and did the installation with seemingly complete ease…I am very satisfied. In a couple of weeks I’ll make another review as to the effectiveness of the mini split A/C unit that was installed since the weather is not very hot yet where we live. I would highly recommend Comfort by Design for any HVAC needs.

Angela was wonderful on the phone. She was able to get a tech out to a property the same day as the day I called. Jesse was a great technician. They did a good job installing our a/c and furnace. I always say that a mark of a good business isn’t being perfect but their customer service. And despite experiencing a couple hiccups they stepped up and fixed everything. I would use them again for sure.

Two weeks ago, I met with Scott Bryant from Comfort By Design and he invested a large amount of time looking at my current system and helping me decide what I needed to do to resolve my issues. I had called because the HVAC system in the house which was 21 years old had failed and I was looking to replace the entire system. He walked me through all my options, costs, and spent a significant amount of time explaining the differences between systems. Scott was extremely helpful and did not make me feel any pressure to make a decision. After a bit of internal discussion, we decided to go with the option that Comfort By Design had suggested.
Less than two weeks later and the team is here installing the system. The team doing the install. Anthony and Jeremy have been working here at my location all day and Jon and Joe joined than for part of the day. They are very professional and explained the entire process to me ahead of time. They removed all the old equipment, and everything was pretty much perfect when they left. They did have to cut a few holes in the ceiling to route an exhaust vent, so people are scheduled to come back and repair that. Once everything was done Jeremy walked me through the new system and I probably asked more questions than he wanted but he patiently answered every one.
The system is installed, the install area is clean, and I am able to use my AC again. I’m anxious to see how my new 98% efficient heater works in the fall as well. Thanks a ton, to Comfort By Design for making this an easy and quick process. You guys are the best.

After trying to DIY my own doggy doors, I managed to cut the pipe to my floorboard heating system. When the temps dropped this fall my mud room started to flood. I called Comfort By Design and they had someone out to fix the problem within an hour!
His guys not only took care of the problem, they were also very respectful and handled my “pack” of pups extremely well also.
Comfort by design was very affordable...it was definitely an emergency so I could have been charged an arm and a leg, but they took care of the problem at a good price.

I have worked with Scott for a number of years and there is one word that can describe Scott and that is Integrity. He does what he says he's going to do and he stands by his word.

We needed help running new gas lines to the kitchen and laundry room of a recently purchased home. Kevin and the team at Comfort by Design smashed the work with such professionalism and quality that even the city inspectors were praising them to me. I look forward to working with them again! Had a few issues getting the water heater back up and running...but overall very happy with the work.

Just had a new Air Conditioner installed with Comfort by Design, and it was a fabulous experience. On the sales side, Scott was very friendly and easy to deal with. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I don't need and broke everything down for me exactly as I did need it. After the quote, that was the end of it. No additional charges after the fact, or any of that funny business that I've seen in the past. The installers, Mike and another gent who's name escapes me did a marvelous job! They got everything done very quickly and the result looks marvelous, even with the added challenge of having to route the connectors clear across my house and down to another floor to reach my furnace. Finally, their work passed inspection easily, lending more credence to the superior quality of their work. I could not be happier with the whole experience I received from Comfort by Design and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get any HVAC work done.

As a result of my recent experience with Comfort By Design I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services. I bumped into Kevin, a Master Plumber with Comfort By Design, by chance at Home Depot and told him the issue I was having with my kitchen faucet and how frustrated I was after learning my faucet manufacturer had discontinued the model I had installed new in my kitchen nearly 15 years ago. I showed him a picture of the faucet while pointing to the areas that leak, and he diagnosed the problem and suggested a fix right there in the main aisle of the North Academy Home Depot. The fix was beyond what I felt comfortable doing, so he gave me his card and suggested I call the service desk and set up an appointment. Kevin and Judge showed up at the scheduled time and were courteous and professional throughout the service call. They had the problem resolved and the area clean and neat in minimal time and now my faucet operates like a brand new system. The rate they charged was VERY reasonable. I WILL be using them again.

This is a positive review. Our old furnace failed in March of ’20, just as the state imposed COVID restrictions and while it was still cold enough to need a furnace. I asked three HVAC companies for bids. John from Comfort by Design was the only one to measure our house’s volume and count our windows. Considering things like warranty and price, he also gave us the best bid. The installers were quick, as quiet as such work allows, and neat. Everyone was masked when no one was used to wearing a mask. I can’t say enough for the team.

Unfortunately, we were not as satisfied with the furnace. Comfort by Design sent a tech out to make adjustments, but he couldn’t get it to work as we thought it should. I talked again to John, who contacted the manufacturer. I gave them until the fall since we wouldn’t need a furnace during the summer. Not once did any member of the team seem exasperated or dismissive of our complaints.

Ultimately, in November, because we were still dissatisfied, Comfort by Design replaced the furnace at no extra cost and with no arguments. The new furnace operates significantly better and we are now satisfied.

We had an issue with our water heater which they had installed. Samuel Hazelet was the HVAC expert that was sent out to us. He came unexpectedly quickly and took care of what turned out to be a quickly rectified issue in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner. This company was amazing. My husband and I were just wanting to have air conditioning in our Master Bedroom. While we have air conditioning in our house, it's hard to cool off our bedroom. We required some custom work for our installation. Getting financed was so easy. All the technicians were polite, followed covid protocols, cleaned up after they finished the job. There were a few hiccups, but Comfort by Design bent over backwards to correct said hiccups to make this installation perfect. I will always recommend them to anybody and everybody in the future!

Can’t keep appointment times and do not value anyones time. It has been almost 3 weeks since I asked for a quote. First guy to come out could give me a quote without the electrician’s estimate. 2 weeks pass and I call asking for the quote only to get told the electrician still needed to come. Electrician scheduled to come out yesterday at 0800. 0840 no call, no show so I call the office only to be told they had a meeting in the shop that ran long and he would be leaving soon but still take over 30 mins. I am not retired and can’t continue to take off work for an estimate but that seems to be lost on the company as you are only their time! Poor communication! Guess it is time to go with a different company.

Scott came to our home and tried to tell us we needed to get a 10,000 $ cash loan in order for him to be able to work with us. We found another company that came and did the work for 3,500 so in our opinion he is just charging people whatever he wants to make a lump in his own pocket

David was the plumber who installed my new water heater. He was friendly and very knowledgeable, answering my questions and keeping me informed on what he was doing. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and he cleaned up after himself! The office staff was quite helpful, contacting me very quickly after I submitted my request through Angi and e-mailing a quote, the only company to do that. This is a professional company who I will look to in the future for all my plumbing needs.

Comfort by Design came out to handle some laundry room plumbing work in an investment property we own, as well as look into some HVAC (radiant heat) concerns. We ultimately decided to go with them for their professionalism and responsiveness. It is a sad world where many professional contractors struggle to show up on time, return emails or phone calls, and can't stay in the quoted estimate. Comfort by Design definitely checked all those boxes and more! Very easy to work with and communicate with, friendly, trust-worthy and professional service that didn't seem to rush through to get done and move on to other work (been there before!). Always on time and quality of work was great. Would definitely recommend for plumbing and HVAC services for sure, we will continue working with them in the future

Affordable and reliable! You won't be disappointed! Every step of the way we were taken care of better than we ever expected. Jeremy did awesome, friendly and super helpful. A week or so after installation I thought we had an issue, turns out the issue was me not knowing how to work things but that's beside the point. I called the office on a Saturday and was told someone would come take a look. In less than 30 minutes Joe arrived to the rescue. Thank goodness it was nothing but if it had been we were made a priority. That right there shows you how dedicated this company is to their customers.

Great company. Very professional. Fast install. They took the time to make sure it was done right. From the estimate through the install, I felt like I mattered and was their only customer. Owner did the estimate and talked me out of a more expensive unit and made sure that the one I bought was right for my house. Techs were professional and polite.

These folks were absolutely flawless in installing a new furnace for us. From Scott (owner) to Shannon (scheduler) to Garry (initial inspector of our failed furnace) to Nathan and Jon (installation team) they could not have provided a better experience. Highly, highly recommend them.

We asked Comfort by Design to give us an estimate on replacing a 17-year-old, 2 zone HVAC system consisting of 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners. Scott was extremely thorough in laying out all the options, explaining furnace and air conditioner efficiencies, and the pros and cons of various equipment configurations. He obviously cares about his customers and configuring the best system for their needs and budget.
Installation took several days in hot, dirty conditions in the attic, basement, and outside. The installation team of Jeremy, Mike, and Jessie did a fantastic job. It wasn’t a simple installation, and they did their best to keep disruptions to a minimum. When finished, Jeremy performed a complete walk-through, explaining the final steps needed for some electrical work and the inspection.
Overall, we are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Comfort by Design.

Tristan was awesome and kind, professional and worked very throughly with my AC and Furnace checks. I was so impressed and enjoyed the company note text to me before Tristan’s arrival!

Mike and David were prompt, thorough, friendly and pleasant to work with. I had asked them to come and clean the furnace. They did that plus checked out the entire furnace and humidifier and changed filters. I also appreciated that the office actually answered the phone and the person (Shannon) that I dealt with was very helpful and found a time slot for the work to be done within 24 hours. Call this company when you need work done. They are very competent and their pricing was very competitive.

Our heater was making loud noises so we decided to call comfort by design. Scott came out and explained everything to us, he took his time and went over everything throughly. Our house didn't have ac so we decided to add it along with the new furnace. Within 20 minutes our credit was approved and the contract signed. Two days later the team arrived right on time and by the end of the day we had heat and air. We are extremely impressed and grateful to everyone who works for Comfort by Design.

I knew I needed a new water heater because I hadn't flushed it in 9 years and it finally started with the yellow water.. I flushed it and got a lot of sediment but didn't end up running clear in the end. So I scheduled a straight swap for my 40 gallon gas heater with Comfort By Design. They had great contact from day one. They even sent me a bio of the techs who were doing the install. Dustin was the lead and provided Anthony with expert tips all along to solve the issue of restricted space and clearance to remove and install the units. Quiet, clean, and quick. A great team.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Comfort by Design. Our experience has been exceptional from beginning to end. Initially Scott spent time with me going over options and helping me to make decisions on our project. Our heating system needed to be replaced and we had an AC system installed. Jeremy and Mike arrived promptly and as expected. They installed the system efficiently and left the work area clean. Jeremy walked us through the installation and maintenance with professionalism and competence. Joe, the electrician is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great advice on our lighting and electrical needs. David, the plumber was efficient and was quick to make requested changes. All in all, the team was responsive, professional, competent and demonstrated great customer service.

I received several quotes from different HVAC companies in my area to install A/C to my existing system. Scott looked over everything and was great to work with. Dustin and Sammie came out an did my install. Both were very professional and the work was exceptional.

David came to the house to repair my A/C unit. I had a sleeping baby in my arms for most of the visit and he did everything he could to make it convenient for me, to include whispering our conversation so we didn't wake her up. I contacted Comfort by Design to install a new furnace so I could eventually install AC as it was too expensive everywhere else to do both at the same time..or so I thought!! Scott came to do our consultation, and right off the bat, it felt like he knew exactly what we wanted/needed and was very personable and professional. He shared so much knowledge with us and was completely up front with the way he runs his business. He was able to work with my needs and budget to make me comfortable. It was honestly the best experience I have ever had when speaking to a business owner/contractor.

To top it off, the technicians who he chose to come out were beyond amazing. Jeremy was super knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had and then some! He paid very close attention to detail and seemed to really take his time to ensure the quality and educate me . He would be someone I specifically ask for again when I go through Comfort By Design for anything!!

We had a bid for central air in 5/2020. Comfort by Design is a different kind of company. They feel like family, a big brother. This is a company that shares their knowledge of what they know with you, no guessing about which air conditioner you’ll need with a list of choices. They are not trying to sell you more than what you need. They recommend what is needed by asking specific questions and assessing how your furnace and air conditioner will work together. The technician for the install was extremely polite, worked hard, and was very neat, and I’m fussy! The technician went over and above by showing us how set up our thermostat correctly for maximum comfort and efficiency. I would highly recommend this company your cooling or heating needs.

The person he spoke with was pleasant, professional, and helpful. We went forward with scheduling a time for someone to come out and give an estimate. Scott came out, talked about his company, his employees, and products. We liked his views on customer service as well as his appreciation of his employees. He knows that everyone in the company is vital to its overall success.

Installation of our new AC went very smoothly. Jeremy and Anthony were polite and hard-working. They showed up on time, got right to work, and always had a smile. Comfort By Design was assigned our home warranty claim for our A/C unit. We were really pleased with not only their response to our repair request, but with professionalism of both the nice woman who scheduled our services and David the tech who was sent to our home. My brother has a long time friend Nate that has worked with the company and referred us to them. One of the tech's Mike came out to inspect our A/C unit and he educated us and our options. We chose to purchase a new air conditioning unit at which Scott Bryant came over and he gave us such great comfort, assurance and what A/C unit would be the best for our home. We had Dillon, Steven and Rob were able to come immediately to install our new AC. They were prompt, thorough, professional, kind, and the work they did together was impressive. It honestly felt more like family was taking care of us than just a company putting our a/c unit in. They came to inspect the A/C unit as well a few days later to ensure that it was working properly. They did a great job installing my AC. Still had to get a second opinion as they wanted to charge me $1000 to install a sub panel but I had someone else come who told me I didn't need one. They then removed the $1000 charge for the sub panel, meaning it wasn't needed in the first place.

Besides that, everyone was very friendly, responsive, and fast. They also did a great job of setting expectations and communicating.

While there might be a chance that the electrician would have come out and said I didn't need the sub panel, I just can't help thinking about if I hadn't got a second opinion on the electrical.

Don't be afraid to pit HVAC companies against each other. Competition breeds better prices. I just wish I didn't have to do that to get the best/most accurate price.

Needed a gas line run to convert my electric stove to a gas stove. I also wanted a humidifier installed. I shopped multiple options for both and Comfort was very price competitive. They were very responsive and professional throughout the process, were on time for every visit, and kept me informed throughout. Definitely recommend.
