Our daughter put seashells in our main toilet and our toilet was extremely clogged. I called three plumbing companies and Julian's Plumbing came out that afternoon. Mr. Julian spent the extra time to continue to try and get the seashells unclogged. After working on it continuously, Mr. Julian unclogged the toilet! The customer service was excellent and it saved us from having to purchase a new toilet at $650 minimum. Thank you Julian's Plumbing!

Fantastic service from Kim. I placed a call for service to my gas logs and he was there the next day. Quickly diagnosed the problem. But he took the time to ask me how the logs/gas had been behaving, what I had observed etc. Parts were ordered and my logs are better than new, just 2 days later. Great customer service, great attitude. So happy we found Benjamin Franklin Heating & Air, but I'll know to ask for Kim. :)

Michael was 20 minutes early to my appointment for a main sewer line clog in a 200 year old house. He took the time to search the property for our non-existent road access, crawled around in my gross crawlspace, and was very thorough in his cleaning process. He and his coworker Shane not only fixed my clog, but explained the next steps in replacing my old, crushed terracotta piping connected to the junction they cleaned out. I respect their mission to fix the whole problem, not just put a band aid on it. I recommend Option One because they not only do good work, but also have a good attitude, are very personable and care about their customers. I look forward to working with them again soon.

Anywho, I had an issue with the ejector pump at my house, which we've just bought 2 months ago. Didn't even know what an ejector pump was until 2 days ago until I got the smell of...is that what I think it is, run to the trashcan smell. One of the perks of our fancy new house (outside of a broken ejector sewer pump and faulty wiring and lots of other pleasures) was a home warranty. So when this thing broke I called them up ASAP. They sent out these 2 pluming brain wizards who were planning and prepared to tear the whole thing out of the ground to the tune of $3500. Seemed a bit off especially because they didn't look at it but whatever. So I call my friend and client Chris w/ AATP up at 6:30 or so last night and he says be careful and don't do anything crazy...I'll be in there first thing in the morning. So, Chris shows up on time like he said and jumps into descrambling my crazy story I'm telling him while he's tearing this pump apart. He immediately diagnoses the problem, which was a $30 part, goes and picks it up and installs it. All the while he's telling me how this system works and maintenance and all kinds of other plumbing related things in my house as well.

Bottom line. In all aspects of your life, work with people that you know, like and trust. Chris and the entire team at All About the Pipes are true professionals. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

I used Charlotte Plumbing Masters to install a dedicated gas line for my grill on my back deck which required running the pipe in the crawl space, through the foundation, and then under and up through the deck. Everyone at the company I interacted with, from the office workers to the technicians, were professional and respectful. They completed the work in 2 days, including the inspection, and did an incredible job. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how well it was done and how nice it looks. I would not hesitate to use their services for any plumbing issues in the future.

To say I felt cheated by this company was an understatement…I scheduled a service call to fix my tankless water heater that was no longer providing hot water consistently. They scheduled a technician who specialized in tankless water heaters to arrive to my home on Thursday the 10th with a two hour window. I scheduled a vacation day away from work to get hot water restored to our home. Unfortunately, the technician never showed up and I didn’t even receive a courtesy phone call from IRV to let me know that the tech would not be coming. I called several hours past the missed appointment window and they dispatched another tech however he wouldn’t arrive until after 5pm. The technician that arrived did not know much about tankless water heaters and was not prepared to work in it. It was as if they just sent someone to show face as they missed the appointment already. He simply asked me if I had cleaned it since it was installed which I answered no. His diagnosis was that the unit needed to be cleaned first before doing any further work and he proceeded to charge me $157 for the “diagnosis” and said that I would have to schedule another day to get the unit cleaned. This one question could have been asked when I called in for the appointment. This is also a simple 45 minute fix which I would have expected to be preformed while he was here at my property.Two days following I finally received the quote for the cleaning which was $530. This put the total cost of the cleaning at $692!!! The cleaning only requires a $15 descaler solution that is pumped through the flush valves of the unit for half hour. In addition, two small filters are cleaned (air and water) which take two minutes each. From start to finish this repair only took me 45 minutes to do myself. With a fully burdened labor cost of roughly $60-75 an hour and $15 of material cost (descaler solution) I felt like this company was taking advantage of the home owner. I am in the construction business and am fully aware on the total burdened cost for an employee in the service arena. This was essentially a 700% markup over the companies cost. I understand companies have markups and need to make profit however this was beyond excessive. Buyer beware, avoid this company at all cost as they will try to rip you off for such an easy fix!

They started out nice and responsive, but then billed me to come out to fix their own work and tried to spin it that is was a mere coincidence that the pipe just happen to spring a new leak at the connector within inches of the leak they were working on. I cannot suspend reality to buy that argument and I would never use this company again.
