I looked up a 24 hr plumber after noticing my hot water heater was leaking. Someone from Benjamin Franklin of Charlotte came out that evening. I thought it might be a simple fix but the plumber took a quick look and said entire tank needed to be replaced. He quoted me a price with tax over $5,000 for a 50 gallon gas hot water heater. He said the price included a 9 or 12 year warranty and maintenance contract guarantee on the hot water heater They were prompt and courteous.I did not use their service anymore and did not agree to installation. I called to make sure everything was canceled since they were working on setting up another visit. They agreed to cancel everything and I just paid for the service visit that told me it needed to be replaced.I used Benjamin Franklin in South Carolina to install a smaller gas hot water heater a few years ago and the cost was $850 but that is not the same franchise apparently.

The guys who worked on my plumbing were quick, efficient, and worked with the city to ensure everything was up to their standards to get my permits. They explained everything that they were doing in a way that was easy to understand and helpful.

From using Charlotte Plumbing for the past 5-10 years for our clients, I've found them to be honest, dependable, skilled, and prompt. Had a slow drain kitchen sink other plumber came to clear, instead of clearing the drain they clogged it up completely and said I had to get expensive hydro jet done , Mr. Rooter came and checked it out and had it completely cleared in 30 minutes with out having to get expensive hydro jet. They cleaned up and left me very happy.

Scott & Lee came out and did great job detecting the leak and repairing it. Very professional, would recommend!

These guys are awesome. Very professional and yet down to earth. We had water seeping up from under one of our walls and couldn't find the source. All Hours Plumbing came out immediately and fixed the problem for a fair price. I would definitely recommend them.

We had placed a call last night and asked for immediate assistance for a clogged sink. We were given the appointment time frame of 10PM- 12AM. I was told that we would get a phone call from the technician when they were on their way. I called back at 12:20AM because no one had shown up. They said they could call dispatch but they probably were not close to coming. I am also upset because no one called me to say they were running behind. I would've understood if someone just gave me an update. I had to reschedule which was an inconvenience as I had to go to work and my wife was trying take care of our new born. They came around 8 this morning but then we were charged almost $400.00 to unclog our kitchen sink??!! That is unbelievable!! I am willing to give them another chance because I know that this has been called a good company and I am hoping that this was a fluke. I would like for someone to call me back to discuss this. This is the best plumbing business in Charlotte. Mary is a wonderful owner and all of their work is good quality at a great value. They really care about their customers and always go the extra mile. There's really no other reason to use anyone else in Charlotte.

I was in dire need with my wife returning home to new counter tops and new sink. Only the sink wasn’t useable.I googled best plumbers in my area and “Charlotte plumbing master” popped up with a 5 star rating. I called bright and early. Tim answered the phone. Asked me what I needed done. I asked if they could send out someone today, he said yes. He gave me an appointment time. Diyan was very knowledgeable. Walked me through everything from start to finish then showed me the pre-bill quote. The price was great for what I needed done. I FaceTime my wife to show her the finished product. Sink and garbage disposal had to be re-piped along with new water cutouts. Thank you Charlotte Plumbing Masters.!!!! I give you a 20+

Can't say enough good things about John Ritchie and his plumbing services. I have been nothing but PLEASED with them from START to FINISH since working with them in the past week.
Our home had original cast iron sewer pipes that had aged and finally began leaking in our basement. We tried for 4 weeks to call well established plumbers in the local area to come out for an estimate...and would only be told that everyone was booked for weeks...that is if they even bothered to return our calls.
After continuing to research, I found Ritchie Plumbing...saw the great reviews he already had...and took my shot. My call was answered immediately, and they came out to do a quote that same day...Free of charge, since we lived in the local Stvl area.
After they left, I already knew that I TRUSTED them to do the work....even before getting the quote....which they already had done up for me by the end of the day. And the pricing was so reasonable, for the work that had to be done!!.
I'm HAPPY to say that a week later....my pipes have been replaced. The job was done within a day....I had a little to zero clean up to do after they left...and the service was so PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS. I have HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this company to my friends who are looking to have plumbing work done....and I will only use Ritchie Plumbing in the future. I suggest anyone that reads this review do the same, if you want complete satisfactory work for your home!

Service was quick. They came out in less than 24 hours. Extremely professional and courteous. From the onset he set expectations and explained to me in laymans terms next steps. Pricing was fair and comparable. I would definitely use them again.

Tried to tackle clogged drains in one of our upstairs bathrooms on my own, but was not able to make the fix. Called Roto Rooter who quickly took my call and dispatched a plumber to help me. Stan, the plumber, arrived in the timeframe told to me and quickly determined the cause of my problem. After working the snake through my drain lines from up in the hot attic, the drain lines cleared and all sinks became fully functional again. Stan was very professional and courteous in his demeanor and work effort. He seems to be a person genuinely concerned with solving the problem and helping the client. Job well done.
