Best Main Water Line Repair in Charlotte NC

Writing this for my neighbor that got totally ripped off by this company. Jeff charged $639 to replace a $25 hot water tank supply line. That is over $600 labor for a 30 minute job. Then quoted $3000 to replace it because it was 12 years old. That equals $2500 labor to install a $500 electric hot water heater. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I had a small leak under my kitchen sink and Charlotte plumbing took care of business quickly. Robert was was very knowledgeable and took care of the issue and had great customer service.

The owner William and his workers are above excellent .
About 1 1/2 years ago I purchased two toilets from
him and they were water saving ones which lowered my water bill quite a bit
My Parents had a hot water heater bought and installed from William and yesterday I had another toilet replaced by him .
William is extremely professional in every aspect
He is also very reasonable with his pricing and he as well as his worker explains everything in great detail

Going above and beyond only begins to describe the job Ted did for me. After pulling the toilet and running a camera, we had discovered a clogged/broken pipe underneath the driveway about 3 feet down. Ted came back the next day to dig up the concrete, repair the broken pipe, and repour the concrete. As expensive as this sounds, Ted went out of his way to try and find ways to save me as much money as possible. If you call option one for your plumbing needs, make sure to ask for Ted or Tim. They both have similar work ethics and will get your job done!

Matt was polite and prompt. My issue was that AAA City plumbing quoted about $240 more for the unit than would have cost me if i went and purchased it myself from the same store they purchase from. The benefit that they add for that additional cost was...a 90 warranty. Definitely not worth it. (I originally left a 2 star review)

After leaving the above review, the owner Dean contacted me and went above and beyond to clarify what was originally discussed and then took it a step further and resolved the issue at his own expense. Dean did not have to do this! Thank you Dean!

Ronald James was my plumber. Fixed my leaking shower within minutes. Price was reasonable. Rotorooter does not charge extra for weekends, late nights, or holidays, which was great as this happened on Easter.

Sunday evening realized kitchen and bar sinks were having major draining issues. Submitted request via email. They called me first thing Monday morning and juggled their schedule to accommodate us. The tech, Dustin was great as was his colleague that also was there. Both followed Covid procedures. The owner was extremely helpful on the phone to help us too. Had a follow up visit the next morning and all went smoothly. Very dependable, prompt and quick to help us when we were having plumbing issues. I highly recommend this company. Good people.

Tony Williams showed up on time and was responsive and able to diagnose our issue to save us from a costly repair. He communicated everything he was doing and was able to clear the blockage.

Electrician Nathanial Trahan came to fix my outdoor light illuminating my street address. After having my neighbor change out the bulbs they still didn't work. He evaluated my lights and discovered it was a bad transformer. Thank you IRV for sending such a thorough technician.

Can't say enough good things about John Ritchie and his plumbing services. I have been nothing but PLEASED with them from START to FINISH since working with them in the past week.
Our home had original cast iron sewer pipes that had aged and finally began leaking in our basement. We tried for 4 weeks to call well established plumbers in the local area to come out for an estimate...and would only be told that everyone was booked for weeks...that is if they even bothered to return our calls.
After continuing to research, I found Ritchie Plumbing...saw the great reviews he already had...and took my shot. My call was answered immediately, and they came out to do a quote that same day...Free of charge, since we lived in the local Stvl area.
After they left, I already knew that I TRUSTED them to do the work....even before getting the quote....which they already had done up for me by the end of the day. And the pricing was so reasonable, for the work that had to be done!!.
I'm HAPPY to say that a week later....my pipes have been replaced. The job was done within a day....I had a little to zero clean up to do after they left...and the service was so PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS. I have HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this company to my friends who are looking to have plumbing work done....and I will only use Ritchie Plumbing in the future. I suggest anyone that reads this review do the same, if you want complete satisfactory work for your home!

We got a price quote from them and they came out to look at the job. The guy was rude and said he wouldn't put in toilets from lowes or Home Depot because they were cheaply made. He also would replace the vanity because he didn't replace the cabinet portion. On top of all that just to change the faucet, drain, and shower stuff on the bathtub/shower combo he said he wouldn't have to cut a hole in the wall to see if the valve needed to be replaced and that would be $700 without it being replaced and he couldn't give us a more in depth quote for that until he started. Basically is you don't buy from their warehouse then he won't replace toilets or sinks. They want to charge way OVER price to do things half ass because they don't replace that or won't. Company policy it is a joke and funny thing is I know people that use this company and highly recommended them and after this they said they wouldn't be using them due to the price gauge. What plumbing company doesn't replace the WHOLE vanity? He said we would have to hire someone to replace the cabinet portion and he would put the sink in. Needless to say we didn't hire them and I recommend nobody else hire them.

Tyler and his teams' work was phenomenal. They were extremely knowledgeable and personable. I never felt that I was getting swayed the wrong way and they were upfront with me about the severity of my issue. I would use them again in a heartbeat due to their response time and transparency.
