Fixed an ice maker value that was broken when I had a new refrigerator installed by one of the two big box stores. Repair was quick and handled by a professional installer. It was a nice change to see someone come to my home ready to do the job. Very pleased.

Charlotte Plumbing really came through for us in a crunch! We were having work done, but couldn't start until we resolved a plumbing issue in our basement. Not only did they find time to fit us in, they sent Marty out, whom went above and beyond to identify other issues (we didn't even know about!) while he was there and fixed it on the spot. All experiences with All Hour's Plumbing have been very good. They are responsive, timely, polite, and knowledgeable. Cory does a fantastic job of explaining the need-to-know details and is very efficient. RJ is also very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Highly recommend both men and AHP! I don't write many reviews and as a small business owner, I rarely write bad reviews, but feel I have to in this case. I knew what the problem was and in which pipe, so I had an idea what would need to be done and what it should cost. I was told that I would be called when they were on their way and got that call. Over an hour later I called to determine if they needed directions because they should have been there at that point. Dispatcher looked it up and said they weren't actually dispatched till 35 minutes after I was called. But that wasn't the disappointing part. When they arrived, I was told the price would be $380 TO SNAKE A PIPE. Outrageous! That's a car payment. I declined. Ultimately, I got it done for well under a third of that and it took all of 20 minutes.Update: Again, I normally do not write these, let alone do updates. But given the aftermath from my review, I felt it was important. Now I do recognize and appreciate when a business reaches out and tries to correct a problem. Had they simply done that, I probably would have changed the star rating by a point or two, giving them kudos for trying. I politely gave them my reasons, and it would have been easy to just let it go or even ask once if I would reconsider what I wrote.But they didn't stop there. In total, I had 4 different phone calls, all trying to get me to either remove the review or change it to a positive review. The last one stating that I should just remove it because they didn't do the service. Well no... that's the point. I didn't LET them do the service because of their charges and how they handled it. I finally asked him to not call back, and they have not. Therefore, I will give them credit for finally dropping it, respecting my wishes, and for being very polite and responsive. All in all they are probably decent people and my gripe is not personal.

I researched a number of plumbers to replace my hot water heater. The reviews, Angie's List and more gave me confidence in their skill, competence and integrity. They were also lower cost than two other estimates, so I chose them. The staff was very helpful and professional and patiently answered my many questions. Very pleased with them and highly recommend them.

John Ritchie was the only plumber who was able to fix our gas leak at the Quality Inn & Suites Rock Hill. After calling numerous other large national companies, Mr. Ritchie was the only one who came out and was able to fix it. I would definitely recommend his services for both residential and commercial services. He does exceptional work at reasonable prices.

I called McCoy from a recommendation of my neighbor. They were here that night and corrected my plumbing issue. You could not have asked for better service or repairmen.

The specialist refused to acknowledge the issues we were having prior to Roto-Rooter being called. He claimed that the water heater was overheating and tripping the safety switch. I have done manual resets a couple of times and knew what he was referring to. However, he turned the thermostat down (which is also something I, as the homeowner, am capable of doing) and reset the power and charged us $312. When we addressed the concern of the water heater still not able to maintain hot water for more than 10 minutes, he continued to repeat that the water heater was overheating. Again, the specialist didn’t acknowledge the concerns we gave him, and then charged us $312 to do something he could have just mentioned to me. Oh, and our water heater is still not maintaining heat. This was indeed a waste of money and I regret paying.
