Jason came out to replace our garbage disposal. When he got here, we realized the old one was still ok. He didn't charge me for the visit, what a good guy! We've called him in the past and will always call him going forward. Thanks Jason!

This was the FIRST professional plumber I’ve ever contacted since owning my home.After the plumber identified what he thought the problem could be, I was told that if I didn’t accept the service (replace the toilet wax), that it would be $150 since he told me that “It’s probably the wax”.He said if I paid for the service then he would waive the travel fee.So I paid $330 dollar to change the toilet wax; no travel fee included.I called the company today, because the price is way higher than any estimate that I could find for the same service.The company said that there was NO $150 travel fee - which is the ONLY reason I paid $330 to change the wax. I can’t afford to pay $150 for someone to say they “think” It may be the toilet wax, while never even going into the crawl space to check for water being the culprit of the musky smell indoors.I was serviced by Caleb Sadler and would not refer him to anyone knowing that he’s manipulating customers to over pay by several hundred dollars.My baby died in January. I quit my job. I’m 100% disabled. I have a mental disorder that impairs judgement.I was looking for someone to help me, not take advantage of me.

I called them and gave them my name and number and they never called me back.

I would gladly recommend Charlotte Plumbing to my friends and neighbors. They were prompt and courteous. They actually arrived to the appointment earlier than scheduled, to my delight. Mike was very patient in explaining the issue in non-technical terms and answered my somewhat stupid questions. I will use them again, without question.

I had the toughest time with this company. Firstly, I got charged $475 on their first visit to figure out what was wrong with the problem I was having. Yes, $475. They were there no more than an hour and once the problem was solved, they charged me $1640 just to charge the main sewer Y pipe. It literally took them 2 hours. By my calculation, this amounts to $700 an hour. You would have thought that they brought multiple earth movers, 29 plumbers and lots and lots of hardware. Anyway, I agreed to pay for it, therefore I'm the one to be blamed for not shopping around for a better deal. If money is no object to you, go ahead and call this company.The real beef I have with these people is the following. Upon completion of the job, I simply requested them to provide a simple report written. To clearly state what the cause of the problem was and who might have been responsible for it. In this case, the builder made a huge mistake and I wanted to get reimbursed for it. In order for me to do so, I needed a report. I told them that as soon as I received the said report, I would pay them right then and there. I mean the report would take an average person 10 minutes to put together. Nope. It never took place. They sent me invoices and the initial proposal instead. After threatening me with putting a lien on my property, I was forced to pay for it.Overall, I'd stay away from this company! Be forewarned.

This whole company is awesome. I called Sunday evening about a leak and was told someone could come out 8 am Monday. Matthew showed up at 8 am on the dot. He quickly diagnosed the issue (a hairline crack in the pipe leading to my outdoor spicket) and quoted me a price BEFORE doing any work. They offer 5 packages for that service, from Band Aid all the way up to Platinum-- I was most impressed that he didn't try to sell me anything more than what I needed. He had to cut a small piece of my drywall due to the location of the pipe but let me know beforehand that he had to do this so I had the option of saying no. He explained everything he was doing and had me watch some of the process so I could see exactly from where the leak sprung and how he was fixing it. This is my first time using a plumber in Charlotte & I will never use anyone else. There was no service fee and my total was less than two hundred. I couldn't be more impressed or pleased with this service.
