Best Water Line Inspection in San Antonio TX

Shawn came to our home twice this week - once for a consultation/plan and then on the 18th for a gas line extension. We were pleased with his knowledge and professionalism. He listened well to our needs and offered good suggestions. He was forced to do the extension without his helper (Will) but still was efficient with time and patiently answered my many questions as to the whys and hows. It took a little longer than estimated, but he gave me a credit since he had to work alone. I highly recommend Shawn and plan to use him again for my professional plumbing needs. Service was satisfactory and timely. Techs were great! However, it was not explained to me in advance that I would be charged extra because there were 2 plumbers dispatched. This seems a bit shady.

They responded quickly and had Tony out to my home the same day. Very affordable, friendly & professional! I had a water heater leak & they repaired it in under an hour.

Ethan was the technician providing service. He was awesome and informative while doing the repair. Long story short, malfunctioning water softener caused a release of resin beads, thus clogging all the the drain tubes/pipes in my house.
Will definitely be referring to him in the future for water softener replacement.

I went to a different company at first where they quoted me $899 to find the leak since it was between floors. I cried because I couldn't afford it. I decided to try one more time and found these guys. They were friendly from start to finish and found my leak in minutes and for a very reasonable price. Also my cat loved them so that was a bonus.

A licensed plumber and a technician arrived and installed a new toilet and removed the old one in about 90 minutes . I have never had a better experience with a plumbing business. We have used Big City Plumbing many times. They are always friendly and professional. Our sewer line backed up. Horrible! I called Big City at 6:46 am and left message on machine. To my surprise I received a call back at 7:05 am. The woman that called was very understanding and said they would check their schedule, but would have someone out same day and she would call me back with time, etc. She called back at 1032 am and told me Joey would be at my house within 3 hours. She asked me the standard COVID questions and assured me everyone would wear a mask and would abide by COVID protocols. I really like the fact that Big City sends a text before arrival with a picture and some information on workers. Joey and Louis arrived on time and both were professional, yet friendly. They checked the problem, gave me a price and my options and got the job done. Masks were worn at all times. They are a good representation of Big City. I want to thank Big City again for prompt action. I know with the recent freeze, they must have been very busy, but made the time to help a previous customer. And because you never know about plumbing, I’m sure a future customer.

In the case of replacing my water heater in my situation, the dryer had to be removed away from the work area. It had to be temporarily relocated to my den while the new water heater was being installed. the plumber, (Oscar) conducted himself in a professional courteous manner, was considerate of my property/furnishings, and handled moving everything with care.After the water heater was successfully installed and the dryer relocated/reconnected back to its original location, Oscar also installed a pressure relief valve by the water main coming in to the house. Both jobs were performed in a manner consistent with the quality that I have come to expect and appreciate from Santiago/Oscar and Alamo Plumbing Solutions. Outstanding work. I recommend them highly. Russell, Steve, Gloria and Ginger checked all the boxes for the best plumber in town. I had an emergency leak in my yard. The water was running and bubbling. I didn't know where it was coming from. I called 20 companies literally to see if I could get someone out that day. Gloria from the office said she would see. I was thrilled when she called back and said some one was on the way. Steve arrived and started the job but the job turned out to be bigger than expected. Russell soon came to help and together they handled their business!! They had to pull out a big bush to get to the leak but not without communicating to us every step of the way why they were doing what they were doing. They did not want to do more damage. They were extremely careful and conservative.When we decided the bush had to go, Russell got rope, hooked it up to his truck and pulled it out. They used various tools to cut through roots to get to the leak. They repaired the busted pipe quickly and talked to us about what they did. The greater news is the price was so fair!!! Best rates in town. Gloria and Ginger took care of my payment and gave me compassionate customer service. Super sweet ladies.All of this going on at the height of the covid19.
