This is by far the worst plumbing service in San Antonio, I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I hired them, don't be like me. Plumber came over and determined we had a leak on the main line  due to tree roots. Plumber worked for about 4 hours (tried billing me for 5 plus excessive material) at 175 dollars per hour,  the leak turns out was not fixed nor properly identified and continues. Their office does not respond or follow up after calling them to fix their mistake. Zero stars if I could.

I was very impressed with our plumbers today Mario and Josh. They got the job done fast and explained everything that they did. I would definitely recommend asking for Mario and Josh because they did such a great job!

Extremely unprofessional came out and charged 350 to dig one foot of 16x16 and gave me a story that it was going to be over 2k dlls to fix, luckily my neighbor saw everything and told them not to do anything , called another company that charged 120 to do the repair , which was minor. If you dont know anything about plumbing these guys can really rip you off. I was very fortunate in this situation. would never call them again, & I recommend you skip this company if you have plumbing problems.

water leak repair. Received excellent service. The technician Mario fixed the leak immediately. Now my water bill will go back to normal. The technician was extremely professional and courteous. Great company. Will recommend this company to anyone.

I do my best to give businesses the benefit of a doubt and I often cut them slack because I understand we are all human. However, this time around I just can’t overlook this atrocity. My A/C pipe draining to occur from above my front door. I figured the pipe needs to be cleared which should basically involve a blowout of a strong solution. I called this company on a referral. The referring party typically pays $100 to $120.Over the phone the receptionist disputed that amount and insisted on $120 to $140. The tech arrived at 11:43 am. At 11:53 am the tech and his assistant came over to explain that all they did was use FlowEasy Drain Opener to unclog the pipe. No tools, no wrenches, just FlowEasy. At 12:01 he finished writing the invoice which was $140 for the visit ++PLUS++ they charged me $25.30 to pour a bit of FlowEasy into the pipe. Basically I paid $167.39 for a 17 minute visit that involved no tools, no dissambly, a few pours of FlowEasy, and the techs never had to bring one tool or tool box into our home.In my experience when you have to deal with home service providers, if they know your solution is simple, they simply charge you for the visit for part of the visit cost. This was ridiculous. I can’t recommend this company.

Chris was very professional and polite. Told me exactly what he was going to do to fix my leaking bathtub. Had to go get the parts that were needed and had to make a second trip because handles did not fit the cartridge. On the way out, he noticed that my kitchen sink had started to drip and he fixed that one too. Thank you so much for your help

Called J R Plumbing, 1039 Fresno, S A Tx on Friday, 10/8/21 to come & provide estimate to repair pipe under exterior wall. Trench was already dug about 4-5 feet deep. Female who answered was quick to say $170 an hr, job would take 2-4 hrs and if camera needed, $300 up front. 2 workers came on Tuesday, 10/12 & even though water leakage was visible said camera was needed. Asked if I’d get pictures & video & reply was yes. I viewed sketchy video on their equipment, paid $300 and estimate was to follow next day. After they left I recalled they didn’t ask for my email so I called office and provided. No call or email from company next day nor the following so I contacted them on the 3rd day to express my disappointment and fact that I got absolutely nothing for $300 I paid. I asked for refund and manager refused. She put blame on the employee. She forwarded the dark sketchy (equipment must be faulty, old, dirty or in disrepair)pics today that are useless.

Chris and John came and fixed the problem, were very polite and explained everything, however the next day the pipe burst further down. Richardo and Mario came on Monday afternoon, found the leak and fixed it as well. Explained that it was most likely a factory defect and now our water is working better than before. Thanks so much. God bless the company and the plumbers that came to help us. Truly appreciate them.

I had two very professional, courteous on time and very helpful plumbers dispatched to my residence. RJ and Mario were so helpful aside from completing the job. They took the time to explain what they did to repair my leak and offered educated suggestions to me for future plumbing needs. I will call on JR's Plumbing for future plumbing needs and will request RJ and Mario. Thank you both from a very satisfied, thankful customer.

They were on time, they were friendly and nice, informative and supportive, and just took more time than any of the other workers they have sent out my way! I had excellent service from J.R.'s Plumbing. I am writing this after a night of no hot water. The plumber I had was Alex and he provided Outstanding Service. Alex was prompt, courteous, and informative. He taught me how to drain the hot water heater. There was quite a bit of water due to the tank leaking in the garage. He cleaned this up and promptly went to work. The old tank and parts were removed. Highly recommend J.R.,s plumbing. Ask for Alex, he will not disappoint.

Our plumber was great! Professional, knowledgeable, polite, and funny! Our tub faucet install did not go easy on him though, whatever could go hard did! But the finished product! Beautiful and most important no more leak!!

Our pipes had busted in our yard and we knew something was wrong but couldn't narrow it down. Due to weather and frequent rain, we had to wait for the sun to harder the ground. They were able to dig up the old pipes and we were able to see our background in a different light. The workers were friendly and advised us along the way. Communication was difficult during the project. Unexpected delays and calling back in a timely manner. Overall we are happy with the final product.

The technicians arrived well prepared and explained all that work that was going to be performed. They took their time and installed a new toilet without any complications. This is the first this my Dad and I use J.R.'s Plumbing. I will highly recommend them to family and friends. Keep up the great work !!!

I have never received such unethical and unprofessional behavior from a company in my life.I had an issue with my water heater so I had this company come and check it out for me. During their first assessment, they went to exchange the burner assembly with a new one and it turned out that wasn't the problem. I did pay a pretty penny ($264) for their service to be back to square one but I understood that there could be many underlying issues with water heaters. At the end of the first visit, I became very skeptical because the company gave me two options. The first was to replace the control panel unit (which made sense to me) and the second was to replace the whole water heater. Moreover, they claimed water heaters only last 7 years (which is only the case if you don't perform yearly maintenance but of course they didn't tell me about the maintenance part) and still claimed it was about time for it to be replaced anyway (keep in mind my water heater was last replaced in late 2016 so that was not so close to 7 years).My gut was telling me NOT to hire them once more but over the phone they insisted that they would go again a second time WITH THE CONTROL PANEL UNIT to fix the issue. They came the second time unprepared and again without proper tools to check the water heater. At that point I should have just asked them to leave before they started, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are licensed professionals. They took an hour to work on the burner assembly again (which they already deemed was not the issue) and then went to go buy a new part to be replaced. They took an hour to get the part (keep in mind I got charged that hour even though they said they would bring the correct part [didn't even bring the control panel unit] and the part store is right next to their facility). Very unprofessional. The water heater still did not work and they had to call someone to help them fix it because they didn't want to have to charge me for 4 hours of labor to get this done. Moreover, the guy on the other end didn't know he was on speaker and said F&%^ IT IF THAT DOES'T WORK THEN JUST TELL THEM FOR US TO REPLACE THEIR WATER HEATER. The worker on my end tried to play it off by saying this water heater is only 4 years old it's too soon to replace it (Even though he was the one that said it was about time to be replaced the first time they came). I got charged $350 to still be back at square one. They would have charged me more but they damaged my ceiling accidentally so I had to negotiate for them to drop the price.In conclusion, I paid roughly $600 to be back at square one (keep in mind water heaters cost around $400-600 dollars) and this company had the audacity to ask me to let them know if I want to place an order for a new water heater so they can replace it so that I don't have to be taking cold showers anymore. My blood was boiling so hot after this series of events, that I can take cold showers for the next 50 years before even thinking about getting J.R.'s Plumbing to replace my water heater.

I had several leaks that needed repair. I am very impressed with Eric and Andrew. They are very professional. I had several questions and Eric answered all my questions. They explained what needed to be done. They had the parts required. They finished their job and everything is working perfect. Thank you Eric and Andrew ?

I had a wonder experience with a plumber named Mr. Eric Kiolbasa. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He fixed my plumbing issues quickly and was very professional. I wiuod definitely use J.R.s Plumbing for all future plumbing needs and I highly recommend this company.

These people wanted to charge me $500 minimum to look at clearing out a blockage in our kitchen sink. I know plumbers everywhere are busy due to damages caused by the storm, but $500 is simply outrageous and may even possibly border on price gouging.

The two men were very helpful . I have had this leak for many years and they fixed it in a very short time .I am very pleased with their work and I would highly recommend them to everyone .

Joseph with J.R.'s Plumbing came to our home today to fix a leaking shower and faucets. I got a call that he was headed to my house which I Iiked because I wasn't stuck sitting home waiting all day.He was very professional and cleaned up any messes left behind after and friendly as well.He made the experience with tjis company a good one. We will be using this company in the future for any plumbing needs for sure.

We had a terrible sewage back up following a downpour here on north side of San Antonio TX. After spending a couple of days cleaning up feces and toilet paper, etc I knew I would lose my mind if this happened again. Fortunately, the JR plumbling team came quickly, on time, and located the problem with roots blocking our pipes. They were up front about cost so we knew what we were getting into. They also cleaned up the floor afterwards knowing I could not tolerate one more clean-up job. They also gave us advice to keep this from happening again. Well worth the $$$!! and guaranteed through next year's spring rains.

Just a heads up for any potential new customers, Angie Gonzalez is the office manager for JR'S Plumbing. This may help your decision when reading her review...They rarely have licensed plumbers doing the actual plumbing work. If you live in housing provided by the government, then they will be the plumber you want however, if you own your own home, be careful...

I would have given Zero (0) Stars if possible. The plumber came out and got no where and they charged me $115. They didn't even offer to bring parts or fix the issue. RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!
