I called them in the late afternoon for a broken pipe at ground level. They sent a guy out in about 3 hours. I paid $100 emergency service call. I don't know a lot about plumbing but I could see this was a pretty easy fix. They quoted me $2,000. I said thanks for coming out.The plumbers I called after them fixed the problem the next morning for $252.They might be great at big problems, but for little ones get a second opinion.

I had a major problem. I was outputting 23% more water per hour than normal and had a $200 water bill. I had a leak...somewhere. It’s just me and I usually have bills under $100. I called a couple of companies, not very customer friendly to say the least then I started look for plumbers by their reviews. Red Brass had a solid 5 star review record so I called. I got in touch with Mitch. He said he could be there by 7 and he was. This leak was not obvious. There was nothing in the house that would indicate there was a leak. He looked absolutely everywhere. Isolated all of the water lines. He is by far the best at what he does. But what I want to highlight here is this. He said to me “nobody ever wakes up thinking they want to call a plumber.” It’s true. Of everything that goes wrong, you think of your pipes last because we all think those are solid and nothing can go wrong there. He is a person, not just a company. He understood my financial situation and his willingness and persistence to go out of his way to find and almost impossible leak amazed me. Not many people would go out of their way to help like he did. Not only would I recommend him and this company, I will be using them for all of my plumbing needs. Indoor and out.

Danny helped us out today. He’s great! Very knowledgeable, nice and he’s very patient as well. He took care of our problem very quickly and he explained everything he was doing. I live in a 93 year old home that was in need of extensive plumbing work. When I purchased the home 2 decades ago, I fixed other thing. I delayed overhauling the pipes until I thought I could afford them. I know well that Plumbing is a long term value, comparable to any serious project in owning a home. I wanted the job done correctly. I had already checked reviews for other big plumbers and looked at the call backs from not having the work done correctly. I tried to anticipate costs based on the extent of the repairs I was expecting. I only wanted to see the plumber one time for this particular repair and installation service.From the moment Rockstar arrived, I could see the difference from other front runner higher overhead companies. I felt like a person rather than a job assignment. David's professionalism was immediate. I explained the trouble I was having and what others had told me before him. After he had a look for himself and had evaluated what he saw, he showed me with photos what my problem was under the house and detailed exactly what would be needed and what I could expect. I especially liked when he pulled out a binder with listed items and prices. He showed me exactly where the prices for the things he pointed out and arrived at a total. He told me how long he expected it would take and offered to schedule it when I could be home. It came out less than what I had planned to budget and I was able to have some other things done also, while he was there. He did it in the time he said it would completed. He did things right and showed me with photos, answering my questions.I highly recommend Rockstar. There is no guessing with them and there are no surprise costs.

Today was the third time John Gill has come to my rescue.First time was November 5th, 2020. My elderly step father needed to have a toilet fixed. John fixed the toilet same day and came back the same week to replace a toilet (not the one he fixed)The second time he helped me, I discovered a leak in the garage ceiling which is below my daughter’s bathroom. He took the time to walk me through what the issue could be. It turned out to not be a broken pipe but a leak between tub and shower faucet, leaking into the ceiling. This was in Early February 2021.Today, John replaced a faulty faucet in my elderly step father’s bathroom as well as the hot/cold pipes under the sink that are at least 40 years old.I continue to call John because he is reliable, honest and very thorough with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is good people as we say in Texas!
