I called Gibson yesterday morning for a water heater thermostat issue and they were able to dispatch someone quickly. Daniel called and provided his estimated time of arrival. He was able to get the thermostat working again. We decided to replace part since it hadn't been working consistently for awhile. Daniel returned later with new part and replaced but unfortunately that one did not work. He reinstalled the old one but could not get that one to work again. Ultimately we went with installing a new water heater which Daniel was able to install that same day! He was very professional and responsive to our need. We will definitely call them again if needed in the future.

Daniel aka Superman and Alfredo did an amazing job. Very talented and individuals. Went above and beyond meet all my expectation and educated me on everything they were installing and removing and taught me how to use my water softener properly. etc. Great team, very happy. Will use Gibson Plumbing Co for all plumbing services. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new water softener or looking to repair water heater. etc.

I called Gibson plumbing this morning because my pilot light had gone out twice in two days. They were prompt in scheduling me (I got a warranty appointment for the same day) and arrived to my home in less than 3 hours after that.My service provider, Daniel, was prompt, courteous, and made sure I knew what he was fixing, what to expect, and how long it would take to fix.Overall I had an amazing experience. 10/10.

Gibson was fair, honest and fast. They were called for an inspection review and they scheduled within the week. Daniel came in and looked at everything on the list and looked at all the items and explained everything to me. Caleb was quick to fix the outside pipe and get it all cleaned up. Both gentlemen were very professional. Would recommend them!!

I called in & spoke to Maddie about my kitchen faucet leaking. She immediately scheduled me an appointment for repair. She did an outstanding job, I could tell she was professional & cared about my concern. In today’s world time is important!!! Today Mike came out for the repair. He was very professional, polite & knew the business. He came in I showed him the leaky kitchen faucet. He immediately knew what was causing the leak. He went out to his truck came back in & completed the repair! Everything went super smooth & this is what customers want. I want to thank Maddie & Mike both for a super great job!!!

Our water heater went out on Thanksgiving day and we called Gibson and informed them of our 6 month old needing hot water. He immediately said he would be there in 45 minutes. Nick and Caleb came out to tighten our sink handles and fix the caulking on one of our shower heads. They worked quickly and efficiently and everything is working perfectly! They were quick, but thorough and we will definitely call them for any future needs!

Daniel and Alfredo replaced our two water heaters on a timely manner. We called them past their business hours and they immediately made it happen. They called their warehouse and in 30 min. they were at our home replacing our water heaters. Great service, I would totally recommend.

My home is still in warranty and emailed the builder for a pipe leak repair. The builder called after a couple of hours saying that someone from Gibson Plumbing will come in the afternoon. Found out that they were the original plumbers when the house was built. Daniel arrived and got everything sorted out quickly. I’m glad to see companies honor their warranties in quick and efficient manner. I guess I found my plumbing company for future repairs even when my home is out of warranty.David

Nick was very diligent in looking out for problem areas in our home. He did not hesitate to adjust and repair things that had already been installed! Thank you for saving me from worry and a headache! He also was able to troubleshoot the problem with the water pooling in my tub, saying he would make it possible to get a replacement out for the tub. Our hot water heater was dripping so I looked on the tank and Gibson plumbing installed or serviced it not sure but called them and they came the same day - Daniel was the service guy he was very professional and said this was the original hot water tank from when the house was built !!!! 2001 it was built — we got are moneys worth on this tank for sure . He in stalled a new one the same day -told how to take care of it . Great service from Daniel —honest reliable ! Definitely using Gibson Plumbing again if I need them .

Daniel was sensational! Had no hot water and after trying the self fix options, finally gave up and called the emergency number. Within minutes I received a call back and he was able to fix the issue with the upmost professionalism and an amazing attitude. Answered every question I had regarding the why behind the issue, educated me about water heater maintenance, and even got a quote for a softener! Gave them a call because I was having an issue with my water heater. The people who took my call were professional and efficient. The guy they sent out to do work on my water heater was Daniel and he did a great job. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. My only complaint is I felt like they were a little pricey but this is the first time I’ve hired a plumber so take that with a grain of salt.

Gotta give Daniel Superman - he said thats what his coworkers call him? a shoutout ... the guy came to the rescue when i had an emergency during a freeze and my hot water heater stopped working. Gibson told me they would arrive between 1 and 5 PM, they arrived at 1PM! (never had that happen before:) ) Well dressed professionals that diagnosied the issue in 5 minutes. Bart Morales gave me a full explanation of what was needed and replaced my water regulator in just over an hour. I will definitly call Gibson any time i have plumming concerns!

The builder in our area had our home plumbed for natural gas instead of propane and we had a burned up furnace and incorrect water heater bc of it. Within minutes of their arrival they saw the furnace, called their boss and had a new one ordered for our family so that we would not breathe in fumes and then discovered the water heater and got that changed within days. We recently purchased an existing home (just over 2yrs old). Upon move in we discovered an issue with the washer hot water line leaking. After several failed attempts to work with the home warranty company (who refused to cover the issue) we had Gibson Plumbing come out to take a look. Gibson installed the original washer box however because the home was over 2yrs old it was no longer covered under warranty.Despite this, Gibson agreed to do the work needed free of charge. The work would require cutting into the wall which meant drywall work and more expenses for us after the plumbing repair.Daniel to the rescue!Daniel was the only plumber to suggest an alternate solution that fixed the problem and bypassed the extensive drywall repair. He took his time to explain to me in person (and also my husband on the phone) the options.Daniel completed the repair and then took time to run the washer and make sure there were no further issues.Daniel was professional, friendly, and conscientious- he solved the problem and did it with a smile.I highly recommend Gibson Plumbing - and Daniel!!!!

We just moved into a model home and had some issues with hard water blocking our shower heads. Nick came to replace those and also checked some faucets. He found a leak and took the time to fix that for us as well. He was pleasant and helpful. I truly appreciate all that he did to make us feel like we were being taken care of!

I have had two direct experiences with Gibson Plumbing Company (out of San Antonio). Each time Alex was dispatched to my home here in New Braunfels. Alex is knowledgeable and experienced at his job and — because of this — he is confident in his abilities and has a great work ethic. Alex has resolved my home’s plumbing issues efficiently during both of his visits. His most recent visit here was today, 12/13/2022. As always, he does the job and leaves the area clean afterwards. He has also been cognizant with his tools and equipment, taking care not to scratch or damage any cabinets, tile, countertops, or other surfaces he comes in contact with. Sure there are many plumbing services out there to choose from. However, in my opinion, the most important aspects to consider in making this choice are the work ethic, experience, attitude, and personality of the plumber. Alex checks off all these boxes. He always arrives on time, is professional, experienced, and accessible as a person. He not only answers my questions, but also takes the time to offer helpful suggestions and explanations of the work at hand. He’s friendly and easy to talk with. In fact today, due to his personable nature, he even advised me on the water softener options offered by Gibson Plumbing. That’s something that we are in need of, yet — had Alex not mentioned it — I would not have known about that service. Big thumbs up to Alex and Gibson Plumbing!

Today, I had the pleasure of having a leak repaired by Nick. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. From the time he arrived to the time of repair was about 20-minutes or less. I appreciated the experience.

Our pressure reduction valve (PRV) was broken in our new construction home, because of which the pressure on all our faucets were extremely high. My water heater pilot went out one day. I called Gibson Plumbing to get it repaired. When Art showed up later in the day, he was extremely knowledgeable of the issue with the pilot and was able to replace the part in about 20 minutes. After being without hot water for about 24 hours, it was a blessing to have it once again. His dedication to his craft is a direct reflection of the type of people Gibson has working for them. I've had them come out once before, and Alex was a tremendous help to our clog situation. Gibson Plumbing is lucky to have plumbers like Art and Alex working for them. Thank you guys!!

Getting back from vacation and finding yourself with a backed up toilet the morning after your return is not what you expect. Especially when your place is a new home (10 months old)! After calling the builder, he reached out to Gibson Plumbing and had them come the next morning. I was advised they would come service the issue in the morning and that they did. Nick arrived this morning. He was very polite and express care when entering the home. He looked to see what the problem was. In minutes he took care of the issue and off he when. The quickest service I've ever had. Being in the Customer Service industry myself, it was refreshing to see Nick and Sue (?) in customer service handle this call to perfection. My entire experience from the beginning to end was excellent. The customer service representative was polite, and although my house was out of warranty found a solution for my plumbing needs and got my hooked up with an appointment same day. That’s service! The tech James arrived at the beginning of the 5 hour window, was incredibly polite and did an excellent job. He unclogged my new shower drain and was in his way. Art saved me today. I called today on a Saturday morning in a panick. Left a panicked voicemail that said “help…” he messaged me shortly after stating send the address he would be over. He gave me an ETA and updated me on the ETA along the way. He fixed the situation immediately. I sent him a video of in my on words, me, flooding the street after mowing over something in the ground. He said the line was too high in the ground and should be lower than what it was. This house was built a year ago. And walking or mowing over it could cause the trip and the pvc pipe that flew out he plugged back in. It was so quick he didn’t even charge me, I offered to pay gas and he declined, I offered a tip and he declined. I couldn’t say how much I appreciate the response time and fixing it and not taking advantage of the fact that I have no clue what to do or cost.Thank you ART!!

I wouldn't put the scheduling folks, and managers of this company in charge of cutting grass. They promised they would be at my home not just once but 3 times to three different people and still didn't show up till much later. When you say you're going to do something, do it or the trust in your word is lost. Just in case the company tries to reply to this stating any excuse, there's nothing you can do to change the fact that you failed at your word.

Daniel is the man. He came after hours, knew exactly what was wrong with our tankless water heater AND had the part to repair it on the spot. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Daniel from Gibson has been out to fix a couple or warranty items in the last year...including after hours emergency work. Tonight, we had a leak which I assumed was going to be a huge deal, but Daniel found the issue quickly, and fixed it....whew! A staple in the line (from another contractor) was the culprit. Anyway...no complaints from us...we have received great service from Gibson.

Gibson installed a toilet in my home on Friday, November 8th. The plumber was very professional and efficient during the install. He was very friendly when interacting with my wife and was done with the install very quickly. Thanks to Gibson for swapping out that toilet and giving us peace of mind.

Avoid this company! Avoid this company! I probably shouldn't even call them a company. They would not honor my 2 year warranty even though my claim was within 2 years of the installation. The main person I talked to in the office was Susanna Delgado and she was by far the worst customer service person I've talked to in years. She was rude and inconsiderate. Please notice she has left a google review giving this company one if its few 5 star ratings. She is obviously bias so you should disregard that review. I haven't had hot water for over a week and she had no urgency to fix it. She sent a service rep out and he couldn't fix it. After they tried and failed she said it's out of our hands. Umm hello you are the company that installed it and it's been less than two years so I have a contractual warranty and you're a plumber so how can you not fix it? I'm going to cut my losses and move on and never talk to these people again. I'm looking forward to use a plumber who cares at least a little bit about other people! Please stay away from this company! Zero stars!

You kinda want to avoid the plumber coming over to your house but life happens and when plumbing issues occur, you must call Gibson Plumbing. Their customer service on the phone and technicians are on point and always do the work intended day/night and even on holidays. Their technicians are not there to sell you on something you don't need they are there to provide you with quality work to keep peace at mind. I would recommend Gibson to anyone that is looking for over the top profession work done. Thanks Gibson Team!

After I posted a negative review due to a faulty installation, the company operations officer invited me to discuss the problem with him (see his response below). Upon hearing about the problem, he expressed his concern and dispatched their warranty man who was able to correct the problem. So the faulty installation by the initial installer was satisfactorily dealt with. However, the aggravation and waste of my time could have been avoided by performing the installation correctly in the first place. Nevertheless, I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

The plumbers at Gibson are great at their job. Domingo, specifically, was helpful and very informative. He does his job like a true professional, explaining the problem, solution and process. They are a Good reliable plumbing company.They are our builder home warranty for any plumbing needs. I accidentally cracked my kitchen faucet and they were willing to fix the issue at no cost. Even though I was at fault. I recommend their services. Thank you!!

My home is about 1 1/2 year old and I've been having issues with my garbage disposal. I called and was surprised to hear that they would come take a look at my issue. The tech Daniel was very professional and curious. He completed the job quickly and proficiently.

Does not stand behind their work. Made a repair to solve a leak but when the problem resurfaced, they wouldn't come out and honor the previous work they did. Also, had to wait several days to get a phone call back, I had to call them a second time. Cannot recommend.

Gibson plumbing was not helpful at all! They serviced our house once while it was still under the 2-year warranty and they did a great job then. Now, 2 years later, we have the same pipe leak occurring at the same spot and they are refusing to come out and fix it. I get that the house is no longer under warranty and I know I am going to pay for this repair, but to tell me flat out to look for another company because they give priority to new (under 2 years) homes is unacceptable. Terrible customer service! I guess they are not interested in repeat customers, so I will do exactly that, I will look for another company that does care about their customers and want repeat customers.

Last night, we had a real bad plumbing emergency. The Gibson plumber showed up around midnight and took care of the problem. He was really efficient in his work, knew exactly what was wrong, and immediately resolved the issue. I'm thankful because this morning my kids had running water to use before school. Thank you

Never got issue with water heater vent and pan completed

Gibson is a great place to work for. Recently moved from another state, Gibson truly been a great working environment very welcoming. Always willing to answer any questions I may have thru out the day. All of my co workers take the time to explain.

These guys are the worst. If your builder uses these guys you should not buy the house. They have a hard time fixing issues like your toilet. They have come to my house twice and both times and did not have the parts to fix the toilet, they even told the warranty person who scheduled the appointment the second time that they had the parts and were on their way.I had them fix the Pressure Valve to my house three times. They never even check to make sure the pressure was correct when the allegedly changed the valve.They have stood me up for an appointment or two as well.Just don't use them. Save yourself time and the aggravation of dealing with this comedy troupe.

We had a bad water leak in the front yard & Gibson Plumbing sent someone to fix it even though it was after hours. The plumber worked until after 11pm but got the job done and water restored to the house.Thank you!

I called today because I have a 2 year old home and they had a sticker on my hot water heater that said for questions or warranty information call them. I called and they did the install. I asked about the warranty on my hot water heater I was told I would have to find that out from the manufacturer and it was 150 an hour for them to work on it and that could not happen for 6 days!No thanks, and if you don't want to help people that you do the install, please remove your sticker from our hot water units you install.

Called four times within a week to notify them that I had a water leak. First time I spoke to a rep, they told my if I was sure and to just monitor the water meter. Called a couple of days later, rep told me that I was going to get a call back - never happened. Called again and same thing - no call back. Today, called again, rep says that a tech would come out in the afternoon, never showed up. Spent the day waiting - not even a phone call to say that they wouldn't make it out.. Very poor service. My house is still under warranty.

Called to ask a general question regarding a water heater installed a few years ago by Gibson in a new home and if they service water heaters, was told that there is no one in the office who can answer those questions and referred to the manufacturer. Very bizarre that a business can install a water heater but not aware if they require maintenance, and is unable to offer that service.

awful bought a house that gibson did the plumbing and because they did not use the right boxes in the ground or correct pipes we had a high water bill for over year. we keep telling them something was wrong but of course they did not dig. they just kept saying no leaks according to the water pressure. so i got tired and call another plumbing company to fix the problem gibson created. gibdon is the worst. they just want a 250 service call fee for something they did incorrectly from the beginning. i will definitely ask who did the plumbing on my next build. if its Gibson im running.

Gibson Plumbing arrived at my house at the time they said they would. They repaired my plumbing in less time than they quoted. They were courteous and professional. I would recommend Gibson Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work.

Not sure about the other techs but the one I had I would never let back in my house. Twice he left my new house a mess. Drug mud in, hot my walls with his tools, left my toilet cover on my sink, rinsed his tools off in bathtub leaving dirt all over the place. Broke my toilet paper holder. Got muddy water all over my door and didn’t try to wipe it up. Had to have the walls and door repainted. The first time he showed up he didn’t have a camera bc “he didn’t know where it was” and when he told me he had to come back another day bc he didn’t have a camera it inconvenienced me with my work schedule. I asked if he could call another unit to bring a camera or find one and do the job that day. He told me no. Guy needs lessons in customers service and how to enter and treat someone’s house and majorly needs lessons on how to clean up his messes. I understand plumbing isn’t a clean job most the time but it’s simple. If you make a mess, clean it.

They have been awful since the beginning- they did not tie our sewer line into the main sewer line so three days after buying the house the sewage was backing into our house!! Toilet was bolted down too tight and cracked and flooded our house! Same toilet leaked again! And now under our sink is leaking and they tell me I have to pay a 250 dollar service fee!!! Obviously they can’t do their job correctly so will never use again or buy a house that they have touched!!!!

Terrible. Had an appointment window of 1-5pm after an appointment I made 2 weeks ago. 5pm came and no one showed up. I had to personally call and spoke to Suzie the supervisor and e informed me the driver was supposed to call ahead and didn't. It's now 8pm and no one is still at my home. I had to call again and spoke to Rodrigo who couldn't help me either. Terrible experience.

Gibson Plumbing is a great company to work for. A upbeat, positive work environment. They company really cares about their employees. They strive for customer service and doing a great job!

Very disappointed in Gibson Plumbing. Have a emergency situation with my plumbing and when my builder rep and myself call the emergency number the voicemail box is full which leads me to believe they are not checking the voice mails. I have only been in my house for 2 weeks and have to deal with this issue. The purpose of the voice mail is for people to leave messages if we are unable to do that it is pointless.

They suck….. I called their emergency number, which is the same as their business number, I got a voice mail stating that if I had an emergency (no water in the house) press one. I got another recording to leave a message. The still haven’t called back. We moved into this new houseless than a week ago and have zero water in the house and 6 house guest in for the 4th of July. If you have an option don’t use this company.

They will never call back. I spoke with Johnathan and stated Lindy will call me back to schedule a time for them to fix my plumbing issue and I have yet to get a call back. I have called three times over a month and still nothing. I asked for a manager and I got the run around with Lindy will call you back. Bad customer service! Going with someone else for my plumbing issues.

Nick was very helpful and answered all my questions. Also explained everything that was being done.

I called to have a hot water heater replaced, and was told they don't provide residential service. Why not advertise commercial only and not waste our time?

Horrible customer service was told the plumber would be out between 1 and 5 pm and i had to call at 5 to see where they were and they said he wouldnt make it out till after 6 didnt receive a courtesy call or anything. Then scheduled for at 11 the next day and they called at 1130 saying he was 45 mins away horrible experience stay away from them if possible

Great customer service, from Susy who scheduled my repair to Daniel they were both very professional and courteous, the work they performed was very tidy , would definitely recommend.

Disorganized, deceiving , back stabbing, back biting, uses cheap labor for everything, spends more money on fixing mistakes than spending on skilled labor. Customers always upset. Management plays personnel against each other. Big egos , with nothing to back it. Everybody passes the buck.Steer clear.

Worst Service Ever. This company has the reputation of never returning phone calls and don't back their warranties. Don't use them because by the time your emergency gets handled it's too late anyways.
