2 weeks after the big freeze of February, a flood stop alarm for my water heater went off and alerted me to a leak. The leak wasn't coming from the water heater actually, but from a pipe behind it in the wall and the water, fortunately, leaked into the containment pan that the water heater sits in and where the flood stop sensor is. It was a Saturday morning, never the best time to get a plumber, and since I already knew that every decent plumber in the city was booked up for days or weeks in advance (due to the ice & snow storms), I searched on line for an emergency plumber. Bluefrog had the best ratings of any service I could find and I was able to book an appointment for 2 days later, on the following Monday, which I considered very good fortune. Monday morning Clinton promptly arrived in very good, friendly spirits, and proceeded to look at the issue. He did an excellent job, maintained the best, most respective and friendly disposition, and was very forthcoming in explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I like to learn so I drank it all in and he went above and beyond in explaining things to me. I learned a lot, much of which will be useful in the future as I keep on the look-out for potential problems down the road. He also took care of a slow leaking faucet outside. I chose to join the 5 year membership because that's a good value and it gave me a discount on the charge for his services. But this is not a discount plumbing service - it's a premium service. It's probably the most expensive plumbing company I've ever hired but after all the issues of the past month, the fact that they came out quickly and Clinton's nature was so good, and the fact that the amount of the charge was doable for me, I didn't hesitate to go ahead with them. As I say, if you want the least expensive work done, this is very probably not the company for you. But when he was done, I felt that every penny I spent was worth it - because the service was first rate, his skill was excellent, the equipment he had at his disposal was top of the line, and the education I got was a great benefit. In addition, Clinton explained a lot that can help me have a better consistent maintenance of things which could save me a lot of money in the long run. This was definitely a case where you get what you pay for. I did, and I have no doubt I will continue to get the best service from Bluefrog over the next 5 years of service. I'd hire them again without a second's hesitation.

Need a new water heater installed and called 1st Call Plumbing. Our plumber JJ was amazing and went out of his way to explain process and install water heater. We had a problem after he left and I called JJ back and not only did he come back out that evening, but the owner himself phoned us and came out to our home to inspect the problem. Thankfully it was taken care of, not because of something they did, but something that our plumber “friend” did. So appreciated that they both went out of their way to resolve the problem before the end of the evening. HIGHLY recommend 1st Call Plumbing.

Awsome customer service and response time. It was a great experience and I will definitely use them to replace my water heater. Austin demonstrated that replacing my old kitchen faucet was no match for him. He removed it into several pieces and replaced my old kitchen plumbing that leaked as well. I was so happy with the service I was provided.

I can not say enough good things about this company. I was told it's hard to find an honest plumber; well, I found a whole company of honest plumbers. With our recent weather, we had a busted pipe. When I called, I really expected the worst, but what I found was caring, professional human beings that were willing to do whatever they could to help us out. From the front office (I wish I could remember the lady's name because she deserves praise) to the guys who showed up with wrenches in hand, they were fantastic. The front office kept me informed, was polite, understanding and made me feel like they cared about us instead of it being a simple business transaction. The guys, Angel and Elisha, were just as awesome. They knew what they were doing, worked fast, explained everything step by step and answered all my questions. They were also willing to laugh and joke around with me late on a Friday night, in freezing temperatures while crawling underneath a 100 year old home to fix 100 year old pipes. In the end, I could not have been happier. I should add that I was shocked by the price....it was crazy fair and way less than I expected on such a night. They didn't take advantage of the situation at all. Good neighbors and good peopleIf you are looking for a company to partner with, this is who to call here in San Antonio.

Company is certified for tankless heater service and that's how I found them. However we have been calling them for the last several years for everything that's plumbing related. He's reasonable, work and material are excellent quality, they are responsive and on time. It's a nice thing to have: a reliable pluming professional you can always count on.

Garrett Heard was so professional in handling the job. I never met him other than on the phone, but the way he talks over the phone made me very comfortable because of his friendly tone.
